I COOKED A THING

I do this kinda frequently and am usually quite good at it, but you need to understand please you must know...

I did not have a recipe for this.

I pulled shit out of my brain (tablespoon butter, quarter cup freshly cut onion, 1 stalk thinly sliced celery, tablespoon flour, half cup parmesan, cup milk, torn up hamburger patty that I didn't want in sandwich form so I bullshat this instead, rice) and I made something that tasted good! It was technically modeled after another recipe, but given that I did not reference it and estimated the measurements, I'm still so proud guys!

This gives me hope for my adulting capacity!

Friendly reminder that just because someone struggles to talk to you doesn’t mean they don’t like you. It is damaging to you both if you assume someone hates you and talks shit about you just because they’re not responding how you want them to. There are plenty of other reasons as to why someone is quiet and doesn’t talk much. And usually that reason is NOT because they hate you and talk shit about you. And if you can’t come to terms with that and still think the only possibility they’re not talking to you is because they have something against you, then idk what to say except, that’s a you problem and you should get a therapist for that anxiety.

Sometimes when people on the Internet are like "ADULTS CAN NEVER INTERACT WITH MINORS IT'S CREEPY" I remember how, at 12, back in 1997, I was on the Witchvox forums with people ranging from me to people in at least their 50s, and no one there was ever a creep to me, no one ever made me feel uncomfortable or asked for my personal info, and when I finally broke down after a particularly brutal day of bullying at school and posted about it they were the first adults I'd ever met in my entire life who told me the bullies were the problem and it was okay to be angry about it.

Kids need to interact with adults who will listen to them.
