To this point it has been a journey. The community that has been created by simply posting my progress on each piece that I've created is incredible and I am grateful to be followed by you all. I feel that something that I've done along this journey is trust my gut with lots of things and I'm now at a point where I trust my instinct more than ever. I've also learnt a lot from failing along the way. You don't see it but every piece has contained moments where I've had to rethink things and remake some parts, not all goes smoothly all the time but I try to be as honest as I can with how I do things. These are elements of this journey that I have learnt through making and more importantly these skills are things that have improved my life dramatically. I used to be incredibly unorganised but the discipline that making requires of me I've applied to life. That is the power of making and creating. You might feel you're not good enough but in fact you're on a step of your journey and it's only developing your character for the rest of your life. This milestone has made me appreciate all those times I've learnt something from failure and the fact that you all follow my work and others works too is the biggest sign that what we artists love doing is all worth it. A failed day, not a failed life

The first weekend since starting my diet has been basically a complete loss, mostly due to me not having access to the types of foods I need to stay on the right path. I am currently living at home with my parents and Friday we got into a huge fight, prompting me to leave for the 3 day weekend without grabbing any of my food. My diet powder, meal replacement, etc are still at home.........And I am not.

I tried for the first 24 hours to stick to a vague *low calorie* only diet. That didn’t last long with my boyfriend who likes to cook a whole lot and that makes it hard for me to judge how many calories I’m really eating every day.....

The way I see it, tomorrow is a new day and not one that I will waste.. It’s not over until the fat lady feels good in her body!

Sometimes (more like most of the time), fear of rejection can be your biggest enemy. Whether that be creatively, voicing an opinion, crushes (used to be my biggest one), business, networking - the list goes on. I can personally attest to the fact that rejection sucks, but if you have to pick the lesser of 2 evils, pick rejection. All day. Every day. With that being said, know your approach back to front before engaging anything with an element of rejection involved. That's how you beat regret. My favourite quote is no such thing as failure only feedback. Once I personally took that on board it made such a difference to my life and helped me to stop fearing failure and helped me step out my comfort Zone so much more. Now when I step out my comfort Zone I no longer fear failure because if what ever it is does not work out, well I’ve not failed I’ve learnt how not to do something and how I can better improve for next time.
