Tumblr media
it was a dark night, cold per usual, you hated how Egypt’s weather fluctuated due to the time of day. you lay awake staring at the fire, it seemed to be the only thing causing you comfort on a night like this. it was your turn to keep watch while the rest of the crusaders slept, a job that everyone had to do if you were sleeping on the road instead of a hotel.
you yawned, tiredness slowly creeping up on you, what you’d do to know what time it was. you just wanted to sleep.
“hey..” a tired voice came from your left. startled, you turned your head, only to be met with kakyoins sleepy eyes.
“good morning, kak” you responded, turning your head back towards the fire. it seemed to keep you awake for the time being.
before long, you heard rustling and then a heavy blanket placed over your head, you turned around to see kakyoin smiling. he too was underneath the blanket.
“you looked cold, i figured i should help out, did it work?” he asked, scooting closer towards you for heat, as well as to make sure the blanket stayed on both of you.
“i am, thank you” you gave him a ‘thank you’ smile before laying your head to rest on his shoulder. you had almost forgot how much muscle kakyoin actually had, giving that he was smaller than the rest of the crusaders.
he rested his head atop of yours. you both lay there for a few moments, basking in the fires cracking flames, as well as eachother. it was nice, comfortable even. you two had been pretty good friends for this trip, being the closest to eachother.
he lifted his head, you did so too, looking up to see why he moved. his head was pointed at the sand, like he was contemplating something. before you could ask whats wrong, he lifted his hand and placed it on your cheek; then, he placed his lips ontop of yours. you could feel your cheeks heating up every second, though, you didn’t want him to stop
he parted away from you, he seemed shocked at what he did, “(name).. i’m so sorry i-“ you cut him off, “it’s okay, i liked it”

Jotaro Kujo — Never Had
you were the best i never had, the only chance i wish i had to take
an: ugh the oscar isaac brainrot is brainrotting
Tumblr media
God, how long has it been since he last saw you?
It must've been decades now.
So many questions ran in his mind, a cascade of curiosity and longing. How have you been? Have you been well? Were you married? Kids? Have the years been kind to you? Has life granted you the serenity you deserve?
But when you approached him with that sweet smile of yours, the sparkle in your eyes mirroring the laughter of youth long past, a small shy smile as if you thought he doesn't remember you...
What a funny thought. As if he'd ever forget you.
As if he could ever erase the indelible mark you left upon his mind, his heart...
50 days.
He spent less than fifty days with you, yet that was all it took for his heart to become a canvas painted with the indelible strokes of your presence, of your memory.
"I'm glad to finally see you awake," You spoke, giving him a small relieved smile.
All it took was the sound of your voice, the sight of your smile, and suddenly, he was seventeen again.
The heat of the desert, the ache in his muscles, Polnareff's jests, Kakyoin's antics, Avdol's nagging, Joseph's pranks—each moment etched in his mind like a cherished painting.
The dingy hotel room, sitting next to Kakyoin as he admitted his feelings to the teen who highly encouraged him.
But he was a kid back then. A kid burdened by the weight of his thoughts and unable to fathom the complexities of love.
It just wasn't the right time.
Suddenly, he's in the airport in Cairo, watching you walk away, to return to your home country. His heart heavy with unspoken words and unexpressed emotions, he watched you vanish into the crowd, carrying his unspoken feelings with you, forever sealed within the chambers of his heart.
A love that never found its voice.
And now, God... he would've loved to stay. Loved to catch up, especially in light of the absence of a ring adorning your finger.
But he had much more important matters.
"I'm sorry, I need to go," Was his response, laden with a sense of urgency, and he watched the way your brows furrow even more in concern.
"What's the rush?" You ask, laced with genuine worry and a subtle plea for him to stay. He doesn't blame you, he'd been out of it for a while.
"I need to—" A momentary pause hung in the air,  his gaze locking with yours, a flicker of conflict dancing in his ocean-blue eyes; he felt like he was betraying you as he spoke, "I need to get to my daughter."
It's not the right time.
That thought flashed in his mind again, swiftly followed by another.
Will it ever be the right time?
He caught the subtle widening of your eyes, a flicker of surprise on your gaze at his words. Your lips hesitated, parting, on the verge of responding, only to retreat into a thoughtful silence moments later. The weight of your unspoken thoughts hung in the air, a pregnant pause that lingered for a beat before you finally broke the silence with your response.
"Is she in trouble?" Your voice carried a note of concern, your brows knitting together in a display of genuine worry. He always thought you were far too nice for your own good—too caring, too helpful, sticking your nose where it doesn't belong.
But then again, he couldn't find it in himself to be mad—can't fault you for it, as it was that quality of yours that led you to him, that led him to love you.
"No," He replied instinctively, the words slipping out before he could reel them back in, knowing that you would undoubtedly offer to lend a hand if he were to tell you the truth, and he can't.
He couldn't risk putting you in harm's way again. Couldn't bear the thought of dragging you into danger once more because of his cursed bloodline.
"Jotaro-" You begin, but he cuts you off with a shake of his head before you can finish your sentence.
"No." He spoke once more, his voice firm this time. Shaking his head still. "I can handle it."
Another pregnant pause stretched out between the two of you, a palpable tension hanging in the air. Your eyes brimmed with concern and worry, while he was certain that his own gaze betrayed a whirlwind of unspoken affection resurfacing to the forefront of his mind as he found himself reunited with you.
"I.. need to go." Jotaro decided to break the silence, and if you hadn't known him for so long, you would've missed the way his voice sounded breathy. Yet, you choose not to mention it.
"...Alright," You sigh defeatedly, "Don't let me keep you."
You try your best to give him a small smile, one of reassurance. In response, he simply nodded, a familiar gesture reminiscent of your teenage years when he would try to look cool in front of you—not that he'll ever tell you that.
"I'll come back." Jotaro found his lips moving when it should be his feet starting to walk away from here. "I'll come back here, for you."
Jotaro found himself teetering on the edge of a decision, a fleeting impulse urging him to lean in, to reach out and cup your face in his hand, to bridge the distance between you and savor the warmth of your lips against his own, yet, he held himself back.
It's not the right time.
"Okay.. I'll wait for you."
But maybe, just maybe... after he finally gets rid of the lingering thorn of his cursed bloodline, after he ensures the safety of his daughter, after he finishes the fight with this priest...
Maybe it'll finally be the right time.

First Love Headcanons: Noriaki Kakyoin
↳ Fem!Reader with she/her pronouns. Reader is written as being on the shy, gentle side. Reader’s backstory, stand, and reason for joining the crusaders is left up in the air.
A/n: This was so self-indulgent. I hope it shows how much I’ve thought about this. I hope y’all enjoy! <3
Warning(s): Canon-typical swearing. Mentions of canon-typical violence.
Tumblr media
Before being on the receiving end of a mind-altering flesh bud, Kakyoin would’ve raised an eyebrow at the prospect of falling for someone within the span of 50 days.
Experiencing romantic love? Him? Maybe in another lifetime.
Hell… simply making friends within that same span of time seemed absurd. Not because he deemed himself incapable of making connections, but due a lack of desire. No need to grow close with people he assumed wouldn’t ever fully understand him.
It’s a difficult concept to wrap his head around, without a doubt. Seventeen years of numbing isolation will do that to an individual.
That’s not to say he hasn’t daydreamed here and there.
Kakyoin’s certainly let his mind wander down a road paved with hopefulness. Looking to his parents and wondering what it’d be like to form such a strong connection. His thoughts growing indulgent and jumping on a particular train. Leading eventually to… whatever plane of existence lovers live on.
Okay, so Kakyoin didn’t even know how fully contextualize romance within his own mind.
It’s a difficult thing to grasp when you merely see it from a secondhand perspective… usually from one’s own parents, of all things.
At least his mother and father offered a positive idea of how relationships should function. Mutually supportive; partners through and through. It’s what he’s come to expect and wouldn’t dream of settling for less.
Experiencing the actual feeling involved? Not at all. He’s always been known as a ‘pretty’ guy, but that doesn’t mean much when he’s remained wholly uninterested.
At the very least, he harbored a general idea of what he wanted.
Beyond hoping for a mutually supportive dynamic, he’s confident over his preferred type. His likes and dislikes, whether it be shallow or far more personal.
Regardless of his own preconceived notions in regards to his own future, he does end up forming meaningful connections. While not under the most unconventional circumstances, he does form a tight nit group of friends.
And even more than that, he meets you:
Tower of Grey was the priority at hand… the first of DIO’s followers encountered after leaving Japan. The safety of sleeping passengers filling the seats being far more important than anything else in that very moment.
But just as Kakyoin laid stomach-first on the floor of the plane’s narrow walkway… blood trickling down his forehead and his expression stern… the bug-like stand boasted on. Believing in an assured victory, as if it had already won.
The gears in Kakyoin’s mind chug intently, his stand’s tendrils moving unseen beneath the seats. His eyes widening when he feels something in particular.
A stranger… who makes themselves known a second later. An observer watching silently from across the isles, jumping to action.
There was no time to wonder if you understood what was going on- no time to even warn -before you lunge forward. A stand fazing into sight behind you. Geared up and ready, almost taunting the bug with the shock of its own existence.
Your heart pounded against your chest when the bug directed its attention to you, the distraction proving to have worked.
Just being there was more than enough to catch the egotistical personality off guard for a moment, letting out a profanity. Merely a second or two of hesitation, but enough to offer Kakyoin a quick opening for a finishing blow. Finally getting the drop on the particularly fast-moving stand.
With the stand user fallen limp, his tongue split down the middle and eyes rolled back, Kakyoin turns his head to finally get a good look at you. His lips kept together, but his eyebrows raised.
Your own eyes have grown wide, fully turning towards the group of imposing men.
Just from quietly examining your raised eyebrows and agape mouth, you’re visibly just as startled as they all are. As far as they can tell, you’d merely witnessed the fight going down as an initial bystander. Assessing it quickly and not hesitating a moment further once you saw the shortest of them get hurt. To their credit, it was pretty much what had happened from your perspective.
The men size you up blankly, and without much to immediately say.
To tussle with a stand user so early into the trip, high above a body of water within a plane, is a heart-pounding situation. With hindsight, though, it’s to be expected. Taking such a public and compromising mode of transportation was mistake with absurdly dangerous consequences.
But to discover another… who’s seemingly detached from either side of the DIO conflict- now that is cause for surprise.
Your eyes gloss over the men. Flickering between each of them, until landing on the redhead you’d just assisted. Blood is still drying on his forehead. But his expression has shifted to a more thoughtful one… violet eyes looking at you in a way that makes you feel small.
Merely a moment passes before the oldest of the group takes initiative. Stepping forward, he lets out a huff of hesitation before saying, “Thank you… erm-…?”
“Y/n… L/n…” you responded, shifting your attention to him and taking a step back. You’re on gentle guard; hesitant. A contrast to your determined initiative moments ago.
Surely you’d seen a good chunk of what the group was capable of? That would be cause for cautiousness. None of them knew just how much you had seen before stepping in…
“Joestar, dear. Joseph Joestar,” Joseph smiles gently, a gleam present in his eyes. Hoping to defuse anxious thoughts creeping into your skull, if only a little. But your expression stays the same.
“I think… we could offer each other an explanation,” he suggests in a trying manner. His head tilts to the side, appreciative of the fire proved to be present behind eyes so apparently soft and hesitant on the regular.
Stand or not, the situation is overwhelming. Examining Joseph’s demeanor, and his two gloved hands held up in peace… you eventually nod in agreement. Answers… yes, you’d certainly like to know whatever the hell that was.
The old man opens his mouth again, preparing to make an attempt at a short explanation, only to be cut off by a stomach-dropping tilt of the plane.
You had your own reasons for being on the plane that day… the specifics of which were totally lost on Kakyoin and the others for a good while.
Discussions with Joseph after safely making it out of the plane wreck, Hong Kong’s hustle and bustle in the background, lead you to realizing you and the group held a common goal with the pursuit of DIO. Whether or not you’d even heard the name before the old man spoke it. In regards to your own pursuits, going after DIO was the answer.
That revelation prompted you into asking if you may accompany the group on their way to Egypt. A suggestion only disapproved by Jotaro.
And from the moment he saw you that day aboard the plane, you’d already earned respect from Kakyoin.
He holds himself to a high standard… something he holds others around him to as well. Sure, he’s a naturally polite individual, but he’s not exactly shy calling it how he sees it.
He harbors too much self-respect to think of settling for people he can’t trust or who hold no dignity.
The specific circumstances in which you joined the crusaders… helping a group of strangers with powers like your own in order to ensure the safety of both them and the passengers…
Safe to say he had no hangups about you accompanying them, to say the least.
Being a generally soft-spoken, pretty girl definitely helps too. Not that he’s inclined mention it out loud. He’s not that socially maladjusted. Mostly. He’d like to believe.
He is thinking it, though.
You were just so quiet that first day in Hong Kong. Every time he pointed something out to you and Jotaro, you nodded along gently with a soft smile. Even asking for elaboration once or twice.
It’s a lot better than the huffs and puffs coming from Jotaro.
Kakyoin eventually starts dropping facts from his bag of random trivia on you specifically. Immediately, you’re responsive to his informative brand of talking at you. Likely hoping to get past any initial awkwardness you feel throwing off the established dynamic.
All while you go along agreeably with the group’s decisions beyond his casual information dumping.
From deciding to tackle the journey any way other than by plane, to Mr. Joestar’s order of food in the restaurant the group ate at… you politely nodded along.
Your facial expressions are enough to pick up on how you’re feeling. Kakyoin can’t help but find it nice. Putting the pieces together inside his head on where you stand. Knowing when it’s best to let others take the helm in decisions you’re unfamiliar with.
So you’re situationally flexible too… that’s good.
As observant of a guy as Kakyoin is… he notices almost instantly that you gravitate towards sticking by him or Avdol. In both calm and stressful situations.
Mr. Joestar… his boisterousness makes you flinch. Even more so is the case with a guy like Polnareff, despite the Frenchman making a point to be gentle with a ‘nice little lady like yourself’.
And Jotaro… well… you’re expression sours, failing to hold back cringe each time the two of you interact. Acutely aware he doesn’t like you at all at the beginning.
Heh… so be it, Kakyoin thought.
If sticking close to him or Avdol is what you prefer, Kakyoin’s not about to complain. You’ve already proven yourself to be adaptable… and only more opportunities will arise from here on out. With each passing stand encounter, he grows more and more convinced you’re a really reliable individual.
Even more so, you begin involving yourself in conversations. Something that opens the door to less small talk and discussions holding more substance.
It’s freeing to feel less in the spotlight, despite it being as natural of a thing as talking. But with someone as unused to it as Kakyoin, the smaller things really get to him early on.
That’s what first floods his chest with warmth, genuinely enjoying a comfortable air developing through casual conversation. Not just that, there’s fondness in the tiniest input from you. Smiling at the others’ antics or laughing lightly when Kakyoin bickers with Polnareff.
Friendship is a necessary foundation to be established for an individual like Kakyoin to grow even remotely romantically interested.
And how long did it take for that to happen? For him to silently consider you a friend? Two weeks at most… it must’ve been. God, Kakyoin feels lightheaded just thinking about what that means to him.
You mean something to him already. How weird is that?
Kakyoin’s not necessarily avoidant of how he feels, merely perplexed. A rather new, but internally exciting position to be in.
His care for you making his heart race faster with each passing stand encounter.
There’s vigor in how he stands up for you if you’re hurt or are unable to fight for yourself. He keeps his temper, not the type to lose it, but his eyes speak to the emotions guiding his proaction.
And to his delight… you react the same whenever the role is reversed.
Now… yes, he knows you like sticking by him. And now that he’s thinking of it again, when was the last time you stick by Avdol too? You certainly don’t stand this close to anyone else. The physical distance having been growing smaller and smaller. You’re damn near hanging off his arm.
Kakyoin’s such an enabler, letting you do so without complaint. Head held up high.
Honestly… it takes weight off his shoulders. He appreciates the ease of recognizing mutual fondness. It furthers the comfortable air between you two.
All while Kakyoin’s kicking his past self for avoiding something that comes naturally to him when gazing into your eyes:
“And here I thought we’d finally be able to sleep in a bed.”
Kakyoin’s voice sounds gently, standing between you and Jotaro. The three students of the group he often acted as a physical buffer you and the grump. There is reason for you to act cocky, considering Jotaro finally accepted the fact that you are even there just a few days ago.
You know better than to let it get to you, though. Especially since he still remains outwardly apathetic pretty much everything leaving your mouth. But he’ll listen when you speak and acknowledges your existence! Now, we’re talking.
Late into this particular night… none of the seethe radiating off him is directed at you.
The three of you are turned towards the lake before you, standing in a row. Conveniently looking away from both Polnareff and Joseph. Moonlight reflects against the water’s surface pleasantly. The smell of the cigarette Jotaro had smoked still lingering in the air, and invading your nostrils.
As sweet of a sight as the water may be, the scene doesn’t do much to ease any lingering wariness… only making eyelids feel heavier, if anything.
You glance downwards to your left, Polnareff still sulking by himself on the ground a few paces away. You felt a pang of pity looking at him. Just a moment of consideration later and you neglect to speak to him. Practically feeling the gentle annoyance of the two to your right. Not that… you don’t understand the sentiment.
Especially Kakyoin’s sighing mutter in particular.
“If the old man hadn’t screwed up,” Jotaro speaks up, his arms crossed as he responds. “We wouldn’t be out here hiding from the cops.”
Your gaze shifts away from Polnareff to nothing in particular a moment or two, your brows gently furrowed. Without contemplating it first, your head moves. Peering over at Kakyoin beside you.
“Least Mr. Joestar’s not in custody,” you comment lightly.
Just the idea of it is stressful… your heart hurting at the thought. Even more so, your brain stresses just from knowing how much precious time it would waste. Knowing full well by now you don’t even need to point that out to someone like Kakyoin. He just… gets it.
“Hmph…” Jotaro huffs, nearly a grunt.
Kakyoin’s eyes travel to meet yours, disregarding Jotaro’s dismissal of your trying optimism. The ghost of a smile appears on the redhead’s lips.
“Haven’t crossed the border yet,” he reminds you. His tone lacking the exhaustion it holds when pointing something out to the likes of Polnareff or Mr. Joestar. His pleasant smile… it lingers as well.
“Heh-…” you let out a lighthearted sigh and your trying expression fades a little. Not completely deterred by his words, your tone remains on the sweet side as you retort, “Way to spike my worry back up.”
To your relief, your lighthearted response only seems to amuse Kakyoin. The exact reaction you had hoped for.
“Mr. Joestar said he’s handling it… he owes us as much,” Kakyoin replies.
“Hmm… even after today?” you ask, tilting your head to the side. “Giving him that much credit now, Kakyoin?”
He hums softly, trying to momentarily suppress his smile while rubbing his chin with his index finger. Moving his hand away when he sarcastically figures, “Well… he managed to grab us a car.”
“Small victories…?” you giggle lightly, raising your eyebrows in a playful manner.
“Small victories,” he nods in agreement, allowing his grin to grow wider.
Kakyoin’s smile… I’ve been seeing it a lot more lately, you note. I really hope it’s-
“Don’t fret, you two,” Joseph speaks up from behind.
He cuts the moment short and your stomach drops, making space for a familiar disappointment to pool inside. Your brows subtly furrow, and you biting your lower lip less you pull a pout. Not spiteful towards Joseph… just wishing the short talk with Kakyoin had time to continue.
You turn, only to see the older man casually gesturing to the aforementioned car he’d gotten his hands on. “I took care of things.”
Kakyoin doesn’t point it out less you sheep away in embarrassment, but the disappointment you think you don’t show… he notices.
Quietly allowing you to sit a bit too close beside him at restaurant tables, for example. That same look on your face when the spotlight shifts anywhere else… it’s totally worth it.
Or when you rest your head on his shoulder while taking a bus or car. Polnareff or Joseph will often prompt conversation that demands and derails attention. Even Kakyoin feels a silent sigh escape his nostrils.
Luckily, even more than explicitly mentioning it out loud, he wouldn’t dream of teasing you over it either. Win’t even throw you a knowing glance. Anything to keep you from hiding that cute expression away.
Wait, cute?
So… okay, he can work with that. Mhm. No need for concern or anything of the sort. It’s not like the descriptor popped into his head so fast he couldn’t stop himself if he tried. It’s just one little word… that crawled into his brain and refused to go to the back of it the majority of the car ride.
Well, this is happening, he distinctly recalls thinking.
Really, that’s about as long as it takes for him to come to terms with how he feels about you. The span of an overnight car ride.
Kakyoin may have purposely isolated himself for most of his life, but he’s too self-assured to think of pushing the feeling down.
More than that… you’re just so lovely.
When was the last time being this close to someone felt so right? Never? Good god… it all feels so natural when it comes to you, in and out of combat.
For a stand user… your generally pretty gentle as well.
Not there isn’t any mental strength in spite of or because of that sort of demeanor… Kakyoin just hadn’t personally experienced that before meeting you. And he really admires that.
Then again, Kakyoin’s the type to find beauty in practically everything in regards to the subject of his affections.
… is it weird to be thinking about one person this much? For Pete’s sake, is this what it’s like? Had his father felt like a moron like this too? Did Mr. Joestar think himself going nuts as well?
Perceived weirdness be damned, as soon as he’s fallen, he’s loyal and all in.
It’s similar to the natural progression of learning to enjoy the others’ company. Similar, yes, but the same? Not at all, of course.
And Kakyoin’s not the only one who notices the difference in your dynamic together; he’s most definitely got mixed feelings on that.
Avdol seemed to be the first.
Before Kakyoin noticed he’d caught feelings, Avdol would peer at the two of you with a tiny smile on his face. Kakyoin had thought back then he’d been amused on a surface level… which ended up not being correct with hindsight.
Damn it all… how could I let him notice before me? Kakyoin thinks, feeling more than a little foolish.
Kakyoin was lamenting over a look… god bless him.
Once the others start noticing, all hell has broken loose. They make Avdol look like a damn saint.
Joseph and Polnareff are a duo conceived in hell purely to torture Kakyoin. He won’t lie, he can get rather short with either of them in the face of their teasing. He’s really good at flipping the script on them and offering a harsh dig, which hasn’t failed in changing the conversation thus far.
“We have some time to kill after breakfast… you and Y/n should go out on a little rendezvous!” Joseph will suggest, wiggling his eyebrows.
“Ha! I caught you staring again! You think you’re so slick, don’tcha?” Polnareff will laugh, nudging his arm a bit too harshly.
“You can pair with her while we separate and search… we know how much you like her!” they’ll both exclaim, no matter how inappropriate might be in the given situation.
… screw their feelings, Kakyoin’s going verbally nuclear.
Kakyoin would really prefer it they wouldn’t be so obvious with their teasing right in front of you. Unfortunately, getting on their case directly has proven to only encourage them further.
Worse of all… he can feel the judgement rolling off Jotaro’s body. Constantly. Uncomfortably.
He doesn’t say anything, and frankly, he doesn’t need to. As if Jotaro would need to do that to drive home a point.
Getting all close to you right beside or in front of Jotaro leaves Kakyoin dealing with the stink eye for a good ten minutes.
In all… it’s annoying, but not unbearably so. Nothing that warrants a conversation, anyway. You seem amused, at the very least.
What does make Kakyoin wary… is the situation you’re all in.
Never mind that in just the span of a month he’s got more people surrounding him than he previously thought possible. The circumstance in particular is what puts a strain on both his head and heart.
Definitely has an attitude of “Maybe after the journey…” for the majority of it.
You don’t seem to be the type to want to take much initiative, and he’s a touch too comfortable keeping things just the way they are. No need to rush when there are greater priorities.
Though, one could argue he’s procrastinating a little. Polnareff has certainly made the case.
The Frenchman couldn’t get him to budge… in fact, it’s a run in with a certain sleep-stalking stand that does.
The encounter solidified the update to his thinking the trip had been instigating, in more ways than one. It’s all to do with his returning confidence; growing fully reassured in himself once more.
Applicable both in and out of fights. As well as his approach to you, in particular.
The complete lack of control he had throughout most of the encounter… as well as how hard you tried understanding his position when no one else could… none of them are guaranteed to wake up the next morning, right?
And waiting…? Upon reflection, Kakyoin changes his perspective on it. How cowardly would that be?
He’s not about to face DIO again without letting you know how he feels first.
Too many possibilities could come from the inevitable confrontation, a good chunk of what he could think of not exactly being pleasant. He doesn’t want to plan for the worse… but he would prefer to step up and be there for you like he knows he wants to deep down.
Every day of the trip, as dangerous as it gets, were the better ones of his upbringing. That’s large in part because of you.
From assuming he’d never get close to wanting to speak about such a thing… to knowing he’d never forgive himself if he didn’t.
That being said, there weren’t many opportunities for a breather after crossing the desert. The boarder into Egypt moving closer and closer within the group’s reach with each passing hour.
And just as quickly as it was crossed… there was another attack- his very own sight put at risk.
In all honesty, he doesn’t remember much of the ordeal before waking up at the hospital with bandages over his eyes. He’d been going in and out of consciousness, enough to make his memory of the event rather hazy.
Kakyoin can recall the pain. That… and your presence at his side almost entirely throughout.
He didn’t know how to feel immediately about it.
Thankful for your presence, though not much could ground him in a situation like that one. Or guilt over you witnessing him in such a state.
He lands somewhere in the middle.
Fussing was pushed to the back of his mind the second his hospital room door was flung open not long after waking. Voices pooling into the clean yet bare space and footsteps making their way closer.
Booming and almost laughing, expressing relief to see him up and looking alive. Several hands patting him on the back or nudging his arm.
As well as a familiar hand gently touching his shoulder, a softer voice poking through the others.
He’s listened to it for hours collectively by now… but a part of him figures he could do it for days.
There’s a lingering warmth present, moral quite positive despite everyone understanding Kakyoin would be left behind for his recovery. Regardless… the fact that his eyesight wouldn’t be affected in the long run lifted a massive weight.
Kakyoin is too levelheaded to think otherwise, he knows you must move on without him.
But he finds himself hoping the moment will drag anyways:
“… I will catch up with you later,” Kakyoin assures with a smile. Bandages over his eyes… speaking to the group without the sight available to point his attention to anyone in particular.
Polnareff leaning forward, putting weight on his hands against the hospital bed mattress to his left. You sit facing him on his right, legs hanging off the side. The others circle around the bed as Kakyoin offers his words of encouragement in the face of his upcoming absence.
He’s too strong to sulk… you think, But it must sting to have to sit on the sidelines when we’re getting so close.
“It’s less than 800 kilometers to Cairo… and DIO,” he continues. “Everyone, you must be vigilant.”
Polnareff nods, giving Kakyoin a pat on the shoulder. The others give the redhead their well-wishes as the Frenchman offers you a glance before standing up straight, following Avdol and Jotaro out the door. The men shuffling towards the exit one by one.
You’re the last of the group to move, slowly sliding yourself off the hospital bed. Kakyoin’s head lowers, feeling the dip in the thin mattress vanish.
Joseph, taking up the rear of the group still diffusing out the room, pauses just before the doorway. Looking your way. “Y/n,” he mutters softly, halting you after taking only a single step.
“Hm?” you hum, biting your lower lip.
His lips curl into a smile, eyes glimmering with gentleness. “We’ll go and pay the bill. Could be quite the tedious process… we’ll meet you down in a few, alright?”
Thank you, Mr. Joestar, you think. Holding back a grin as you nod a handful of times hastily.
“Heh…” the old man huffs out a soft laugh, his expression shifting to a smirk before exiting the room. The door clicking shut behind him.
You turn back towards Kakyoin… noting how he’s lifted his head once more. The sunlight pools in through elongated windows, shining against his skin. Unharmed from what you can see… aside from pale bandages wrapped around his eyes. Anything to keep you from seeing his eyes a mutilated, bloodied mess like that ever again.
“Y/n,” he calls your name, lightly gesturing for you to sit down again and pulling you from your silent gawking.
With a smile, you accept the invitation. Plopping right back down where you’d been sitting… if not a little closer. Kakyoin turns his head a tad, close enough to your general direction.
“I have a favor to ask.”
“A favor?” you echo, humming in thought. Both your voices have quieted. Pleasant, but gentler in the comfort of one-on-one company. “Of course… what do you need, Kakyoin?”
He reaches to his right, fingertips searching for the surface of a tiny nightstand next to the hospital bed. When he finds it, his hand smartly slides down its top drawer. Opening it and shuffling around inside, taking a moment to find whatever he’s looking for.
He shuts the drawer with a clenched fist a moment later, fingers wrapped around the unseen object he had grabbed.
“May I have your hand?” he asks, his free hand lifting up with an open palm.
“Mhm,” you hum, gently placing your hand atop his.
Kakyoin lets out a soft chuckle when he feels your smaller hand rest in his hold. Having touched it enough by now to recognize it’s yours by the feel alone. Letting it sit that way a second before gingerly flipping your hand over. Guiding the movement via your wrist, so that he instead cradles your hand while it lies palm-up in patient expectation.
“Keep these safe for me while I recover, will you?”
Without a word of warning, his other hand reaches out and places what he’d retreated in the palm of your hand. Two little red marble-looking balls now sit there, attached to silver hooks that let them both dangle at a slight curve.
“Your… earrings?” you ask, voice dropping to a whisper. Peering down at the dainty set in your hand. “Kakyoin, I don’t under-“
“Keep them with you… and make sure they remind you to keep yourself safe, okay?”
You lift your gaze, taken aback by the gentleness of his tone. Aside from today, you’d hardly ever seen seen him without wearing the set. Only removed on the handful of occasions he’s traded with Jotaro or Polnareff.
“Are you sure…?” you ask, blinking dumbly.
“Yeah,” he confirms, nodding. “I’ll take them back when I see you again. How about that?”
Your fingers curl around the earrings, holding them secure. The backs lightly poke your skin, but your hand keeps its hold. Resolving to keep them safe and on your person. A piece of him that will continue journey on with you while he’s in recovery.
“Is that a promise, Kakyoin?” you ask him, knowing the answer as soon as the question leaves your lips.
“Heh…” he chuckles lightly, his head tilting to the side once again. “Certainly. I’ll be back before you know it… but really… I’d like you to promise me you’ll be safe.”
Kakyoin holds your hand tighter in his, and his free hand blindly reaches out. Bumping against your shoulder, before finding its intended destination on your face. As soon as his fingertips brush against your cheek, your heart skips a beat. Holding your jaw gingerly, as if he were handling porcelain.
“I promise, Kakyoin, I promise…” you assure gently. There’s really no certainty in safety from here on out, the fact that he’s in a hospital bed making it apparent.
Kakyoin, for once, doesn’t care if it’s silly. Just hearing you promise to look out for yourself helps him swallow the reality that he’ll be absent from your side.
“Thank you,” he sighs, shoulders dropping. “I couldn’t stand it if I heard of you getting seriously hurt-”
“Kakyoin…”
“-without me being there to have anything to do about it. Because I… really-“
“Kakyoin, should we even-“
“Noriaki,” he cuts you off gently, his hand squeezing yours. Not wanting to let you avoid the conversation. “Please, Y/n, call me Noriaki.”
“I-…” you hesitate, heart feeling heavy. Is this really happening? “It’s… not like you to… you know…”
“Be so forward?” he asks, a smirk creeping onto his face.
“No, no, you’re forward…” you admit, letting out a laugh. You feel pleasantly lightheaded; surprised by the turn the goodbye has taken. How right it feels. “It’s not like you to… be this forward. Understand what I mean?”
His thumb lightly brushes along the skin on your cheek, leaning himself forward. Careful as he invades your personal space, slowly ensuring his position is aligned the way he’s hoping it is.
“I do. Is it alright…?” he asks, listening intently for any hint he’s pushing you too much. Only receiving a beat of silence, his heart halts in place until he picks up on your bashful reply:
“It is… erm, Noriaki.”
He smiles again, nodding and keeping lips pressed together… and if you could see his eyes, you assume there’d be a gleam of amusement present within. You wait for his reply, but it doesn’t come.
Instead, he takes in a deep breath before leaning in further, taking you by surprise yet again. His lips pressing against yours.
They’re still chapped and dry from the desert heat, just like your own. But he moves slow and gentle, barely a sound in the room accept for hesitant lips interlocking in a bashful first kiss. He’s inexperienced with it, but the two of you follow each other and melt into the action with the angling of your faces.
His hand stays put on your cheek, and his other squeezes your fist, his heart swelling with the knowledge you’re still carrying his earrings. Letting out a sigh of relief into the kiss before hesitantly breaking it.
“Noriaki…” you whisper, following along and pulling away from the kiss when he does.
It made your heart do flips… leaving you with wanting more. But you know time is short. Your eyes flicker to the clock hanging on the wall, frowning at the realization you should’ve descended to the first level three minutes ago.
“You uhm…” you clear your throat. “You owe me another when you catch up with us.”
“Hmph,” he smiles, dropping his hand from your face. “You got a deal. I’d really like to see the look on your face after doing something like that. You get really red under casual circumstances, you know that?”
“… I wish I didn’t learn that just now, Noriaki.”
Kakyoin listens as your footsteps carry outside his hospital room, his smile lingering on his face long after you’re gone.
The coming days will be slow… but the idea there’s people eager for his return makes it all bearable. People who truly know him and harboring mutual loyalty… it’s still funny for him to ponder. Likely will be for a a good while.
The future looks brighter with someone like you a part of his life. Kakyoin cannot help but look forward to it without hesitation on his mind and merely flourishing hope in his heart.
He’s got someone at his side he truly loves, after all, and that means more to him than he’d ever know how to properly express.

At first, Kakyoin is going to come off like he doesn’t want to be touched
It's hard for him to accept the fact that someone actually would want to touch him let alone be friends with him
But dear lord does he crave touch
He’s touch-starved
So please try to be patient with him
He just doesn’t know how to be touched without tensing up and internally going
O-oh god
They’re touching me?
Why??
Did I do something wrong?
Or not??
Did I do something good?
I like this…
This is nice…
What is going on??
Why???
You might see his tensing up and almost panicked features as a sign that he doesn’t want touch
So when you stop your gentle touches, Kakyoin only grows more panicked
He doesn’t know what to make of the situation or what to do about it
Again, he is not well-versed in the ways of friendship
Jotaro is his friend
He doesn’t touch Kakyoin
Well…maybe Jotaro isn’t the example he should be going off of
So Kakyoin is stuck in this internal battle about why you want to touch him
About what your touch means
About if he even wants you to touch him
A battle that only grows when he watches you touch the other Crusaders
Touches to their shoulders and arms and cheeks
Hugs
A gentle smile on your face as you do so
You seem to like to touch Polnareff the most, though the Frenchman is more touchy than you are
What to do, what to do?
One night, when he is unable to sleep, staring blankly up at the ceiling of the hotel room he is sharing with Jotaro
He comes to the solid conclusion he does want you to touch him
He wants you to place a gentle hand on his arm
To interlock your fingers with his as you two continue your journey to Egypt
He wants to hold you tight and feel you hold him back just as tight
He doesn’t want you touching anyone else
And he definitely doesn’t want others to touch you
Kakyoin pulls himself from bed, unable to find sleep thanks to the thoughts whizzing in and out of his mind.
Thoughts of you.
He ever so slowly puts his slippers on. Ever so slowly pulls himself to his feet. He creeps through the darkness, taking extra care as not to disturb Jotaro sleeping silently in the bed closest to the door. His eyes watch his friend closely as he opens the door, it giving a soft, wooshing sound that makes him cringe.
Too loud.
But Jotaro remains asleep and Kakyoin makes quick but quiet work of fully leaving the room. The light that filled the hallway was nearly blinding compared to the darkness of his shared room, making him squint his eyes to ease the slight sting.
You, you, you.
All he can still think about is you as he makes his way down the hallway.
Room after room he passes until he makes it to the elevator. He pushes the button down and waits for the small ping of it reaching his level.
Some air. Yes, that will help him get rid of this restlessness that has invaded his bones.
The elevator pings open and he walks in. He pressed one of the buttons on near muscle memory, waiting as the door slowly shut and he descended downward.
Yes…yes, some fresh air and maybe some water.
The elevator pings back open not even half a minute later and he finds himself on the second floor.
He hardly thinks about his mistake and moves off the elevator.
Down this hallway, he goes.
Room after room he passes.
Maybe he would get himself some tea? His mother always used to make him tea when he struggle to sleep….yes. He would get some air, make himself some tea, and he would find sleep.
Kakyoin blinks and finds himself outside of your door.
Oh--oh.
Before he can truly begin to think of what to do next, your door swings open and you come to a jumping stop.
“Kakyoin--” You start, a rush of air leaving your lungs when your brain catches up with your eyes, recognizing he was a friend and not some enemy Stand User come to try and kill you. Kakyoin watches your features shift from surprised, to ease, to slight concern. “Is everything alright?” You ask just as Polnareff, who you were sharing a room with, gave a mighty, throaty snore. You huff at the sound and pull yourself into the brightness of the hallway, shutting the door behind you.
“Sorry--he’s been doing that all night and I’m this close to grabbing the nearest pillow and smothering him with it.” You gruff, rubbing your tired eyes. Kakyoin continued to stare at you in slight shock as he watches you yawn and cross your arm in an almost hug. He still couldn’t wrap his head around how he had gotten to your room instead of the lobby. You give him a small smile as your eyes find him again. “What has you up at this hour, huh?” Kakyoin watches your grip on your arms tighten almost as if to stop yourself from--from what?
“Oh…it’s--too quiet,” Kakyoin said sounding so dumb to his own ears.
Too quiet? What kind of answer is that? But you chuckled softly at his response.
“Want to trade roommates? Polnareff is like white noise from hell.” Polnareff gave another throaty snore that shook all the way out into the hallway. You huffed at its sound.
Kakyoin would have laughed at your words. He should have laughed because he found you to be the funniest person he knew but--his mind raced back to all the thoughts that had been plaguing his brain and keeping him from rest.
“You can touch me.” He blurted out like he had no sense of self-control. Maybe because in that moment, he had none. You’re lips parted at his words on a small intake of breath, eyes widening at his brazenness. “Uh--if you want, of course.”
Damn him. Damn him and his mouth and his overthinking brain and damn him for even--
“Are you sure?” You asked softly--kindly. God, you were always so kind to him. Why were you so kind to him? He didn’t think he deserved such kindness….but he did his best to shove all those thoughts down. To only see and hear you. “I don’t want to make you uncomfortable--”
“Please touch me.” He breathes, moving closer to you. You’re lips parted once more and it was only making Kakyoin’s need for touch grow. “I’m sure. I…I’m not good with all this.” He said cringing at himself. “I never had friends till I met you all and never in my wildest dream did I think someone as--as beautiful would want to touch me so…I want you to touch me but only if you want--”
Kakyoin’s final words caught in his throat as you placed a hand on his arm. Warm. Solid. It was a hold that told him you were there and would be there for as long as he needed. Your fingers moved up his arm slowly as a bashful little smile crossed your lips.
“You think I’m beautiful?” Kakyoin could hardly think past the fact that you were finally touching him again, but he found the strength to nod his head. You chuckled at his quietness, your smile only growing brighter and brighter as your fingers rose higher and higher. “Thank you, sweetheart.” You murmured making Kakyoin’s heart flutter.
Sweetheart?
His body moved without so much a single thought besides the thought of you and his hand found its way to grab the one still rest at your side. You squeezed his hand tight as your other hand made its way over his shoulder, fingers brushed against the skin of his cheek. Kakyoin sucked in a shaky breath but instantly found himself leaning into such a touch, you more than happy to spread your fingers over his cheek. You draw lazy, looping circles with your thumb into the soft flesh, making Kakyoin’s eyelids flutter at the feeling.
“Sweetheart?” He murmured on an unsure voice. As if drawing attention to it would make you take it back. As if it would make you pull away from him again. That smile of your was as bright as the sun that would rise in the sky in just a few hours as you gave a simple nod.
“Yep…cause you’re my sweetheart, sweetheart.” Kakyoin couldn’t help the smile that bloomed over his face.

I wanna know how they would react and what they would think!! (Since i have a identical twin lolz)
Thank you and have a nice day!!>_<
Stardust Crusaders W/ an IdenticalTwin!Reader
Tumblr media
Characters: Joseph Joestar (p3), Jotaro Kujo, Muhammad Avdol, Kakyoin Noriyaki, Jean Pierre Polnareff Type: Fem!Reader, Headcanons
had really great ideas for Polnareff and everyone else's is kind of short soz >.<
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
Joseph Joestar
cannot tell you guys apart for the life of him
he just calls both of you by your name and see's who responds
pls do not sister swap and prank him he WILL fall for it 😭
he probably made a dirty joke about you being a twin at some point in his life (pls hit him for it)
honestly he probably has been hit more times than he can count for accidentally grabbing your twin instead of you 😭
whether its you or your twin doing the hitting you decide
Jotaro Kujo
even if you guys seem to not have any differences at all Jotaro can still tell you two apart without thought
even if you guys swap clothes or something he will just be like "??? why are you dressed like your sister"
and when you ask him how he knew he just shrugs
or he'll point out something so small, like maybe your left eyebrow is a little higher idk
but yeah finding out you had a twin wasn't that big of a deal to him
like ok cool whatever moving on
he probably doesn't interact with your twin like at all..
every time she's around he's kind of just like 🧍‍♂️ because he doesn't have much interest in getting to know her I guess
very much acquaintances and nothing more
Muhammad Avdol
another one who's really good at telling you apart, though not as instant as Jotaro
I think Avdol is a #certified lover so he spends a lot of time just admiring you
hence why he can recognize a difference
he knows you like the back of his hand too, so even if he couldn't tell you guys apart physically he could based off of your little mannerisms <3
he thinks it's cool you have a twin
he probably knows some nerdy spiritual shit about being twins idk
sometimes he might get you guys mixed up (or just genuinely say the wrong name) but he's quick to fix it and apologize
another one you shouldn't play pranks on because he just gets so genuinely confused and maybe even a little stressed...
Kakyoin Noriyaki
he can tell the difference but he has to stare at you really hard in order to get it 😭😭😭
relies on personality to tell you guys apart
or alternatively, he will get you some sort of wearable gift like a bracelet or something so he can tell much quicker
he doesn't tell you this though, he say's the gift is "just because"
then if you ever ask how he tells you and your twin apart he just says "I can just tell" (liar, its the jewelry)
Jean Pierre Polnareff
this guy...
the first time he met your twin happened to be when you weren't around
if you guys have different hair color/length/cuts bro probably just assumes you felt like switching styles and planned to surprise him or something...
"Oh la la, mon amour! I like what you've done with your hair!"
and your twin is just like ??? who is this guy
he probably tries grabbing/kissing your twin just to get punched or kicked in the nuts
and here you come, rounding the corner looking the same you did yesterday and he's like !?!?!?!?
he's not necessarily the smartest guy and considering the shit he's been through it's reasonable for him to assume your twin was the result of a stand...
and you're like bae no thats my sister
and he's like oh
he apologizes for harassing your twin...
if you guys are exactly identical like same style same hair everything this guy swears he can tell you guys apart when he really can't
he just goes by whoever responds to his nicknames

thinking about sitting on kakyoin's lap while he's playing a game. you're settled on his thighs, arms wrapped around his neck while your head rests in the crook. he's distracted when you begin to fall asleep against his chest. red faced and fingers nervously shaking, he finishes his game, just barely winning, and then shakes your shoulder. you only groan at his gentle gesture, half asleep but fully groggy. he chuckles before scooping you up, face entirely flushed when your legs cling to his waist. kakyoin tucks you into bed, ready to head back to his computer when you grasp his fingers. his heart melts at your slow reaction time due to your sleepiness but how you still caught his hand. kakyoin will settle into the bed with you, cuddling you as you drift off again in his warm, secure arms against his sturdy, comforting chest

Right Beside You, Always
Yan!Kakyoin x Black!fem reader
Warning(s): yandere tendencies, manipulation, gaslighting, voyeurism, misuse of stands, mentions masturbation and sex
Tumblr media
Noriaki remembered the first time he encountered you. Watching you play in the box of sand by yourself as the other kids in the playground avoided being around you. It was obvious because of your skin tone. They've never seen anything like it, not to mention your features. Hair that looked like it was on the rougher side, bigger eyes and nose, you just didn't resemble the type of people in their society. He remembered the exact words his mother told him. "See? That girl is all playing alone. Why not give her some company, Nori? You two could be friends." The young red-haired kid went over and sat next to you and asked,"Want to play together? Mother said both of us could be friends!" He was nervous since he wasn't the best at being social but was surprised to see your frown turn into a smile. "Okay!!" From that day on forward, the two of you were like two peas in a pot.
You played together, walked around the neighborhood together, colored together, had many sleepovers together, played video games together, and did everything together that you could think of doing together. He was the only kid in your neighborhood who saw you as an equal. You even transferred to his school to be close to him. Even though you couldn't see his other invisible friend, having your eyes on only him was enough to bring him enjoyment was more than happy to have someone that understood him. You became his best friend, his only other best friend in his childhood.
Fast forward, the two of you are now 17 years of age. Noriaki had gotten a firm but strong figure over the years, and for you, on the other hand, he couldn't characterize how gorgeous you've gotten since you guys were kids. Wavy hair, curvy waist, firm breasts, and oh lord, your ass. He'd catch himself staring at you for a long period. You'd thought he was dying. Not only that, your personalities are now complete opposites from back in the day. Noriaki stayed true to his introverted nature but you have grown to become a social butterfly, words can't describe how much he fucking loathes it. He felt like he was losing you to your now cool hip group of friends you now have, you were being invited to parties, and events, and you weren't spending enough time with your best— no, childhood friend!!
Don't get started about the boys at your school. Hell, don't even comment on any of them around the two. It always ticked him off how much enthusiasm these incels have to just walk up and talk to you as if he wasn't there?! Disrespectful little dicks! The horrendous comments they'd make about your body while he sat quietly in his seat waiting for you to arrive at your classroom. "Those thighs are so beautiful, have you seen the way her stockings just squeeze them?" The first boy said. "Those boobs she has, I can only guess what color her bra is." the short-haired one chuckled. He vividly remembers snapping his pencil in half from all of the sickening comments, if he could, Noriaki wouldn't waste any time using Hierophant Green on these fools and most likely would, if there weren't too many witnesses.
"What do you mean it's not today, Nori?" A confused look appeared on your face as you watched him hand you the flyer. "It said next Friday, not this Friday. Those fools you call friends can't even get good grades and mixed up the dates." You let out a disappointed sigh and put the flyer down before picking up your book bag and heading towards your locker. "Whatever. Let's go home, Nori." You said. Noriaki couldn't help but feel sorrow to see your depressed expression, but the other half of him felt satisfaction. He was beginning to ruin your plans with the people he didn't want you to be around. Focus on him. He hates being alone, you know that (Y/N).
"Are you sure for cetrain they invited you out?" Noriaki gave you a stern look, his hand on his hip while checking you out. "Yeah! I think," you responded. "You think, but you're not sure. If I remember correctly, you didn't attend the last few parties because they were either canceled or they set it on the wrong date. What makes you think they finally got it right this time?" Noriaki turned away from you, clearly showing his bitterness and disappointment. You stood there looking down at the ground. He was right after all. Oh, how silly you felt looking all fancy and cute for an event that wasn't even today! Silly (Y/N)! Little did you know, the wide smirk the red hair male had on his face after purposefully sabotaging your plans just for you to be with him for the day? Another win for Noriaki Kakyoin.
What other activity does this gamer do besides playing video games all day or even painting his favorite picture he took? Window Peeping, of course! This man wants to have his eye on you 24/7 and especially when you're home alone. It just so happens that your parents were away celebrating their anniversary and left you in charge of the house. Finally, some alone time in the house, right? Right? He wouldn't be there physically watching you through your window, oh no no no, you guys have neighbors! One wrong move then boom, he's in handcuffs.
That's when Hierophant Green comes into play. Noriaki knows the time you head into the showers and is prepared to meet you there. Hierophant was his eyes. The camera was rolling, and you turned on the shower before taking off your shirt and skirt along with everything else. The camera quickly got a better view of your chest and the rest of you. You were perfect, you were flawless! You had curves he won't stop admiring was enamored by how smooth your legs looked, and the rest of you were just...perfect. He wanted to touch you, taste you, and fuck you. He wanted to be inside you, he wanted to be the one making love to you. He wanted to be the one providing you pleasure. He wanted to be the one making you scream his name. He wanted to be the one making you cum.
By now you were in the shower, the water hitting your skin and your once-dried hair now wet, the jiggly motion your thighs would do as you were scrubbing yourself was out of this world! Noriaki couldn't help but get hard every time he did this, patting his harden boner through his boxers the small but visible print of pre-cum now coming out. It had been 2 hours since that video was taken, and many pictures of your naked figure were scattered across the bed. He'd never forget the image of your bare ass, your soft breasts with the tiniest droplets of water dripping off of them, how perfectly curved your ass was, or that tiny trail of moisture slowly trailing down your pussy, leading to that dark hole at the center of your entrance.
And the cycle continues. Kakyoin is always by your side whether you know it or not, he just couldn't wait to say I love you or surprise you with a romantic picnic in the park to confess his feelings for you. But for now, he lingers in the shadows with his secretive activities and possible hidden bodies buried in his yard. Best friend, childhood friend, just wait until he becomes permanently yours, (Y/N).

Jotaro Kujo — kakyoin's amusement
cw: nothing rlly, jotaro kujo is bad at feelings tag
an: inspired by that tiktok audio of when he sees me lol
Tumblr media
Always being on the move with barely any breaks and with enemies at every turn has left Kakyoin with little to no entertainment. Of course, he doesn't mind, even if he's already starting to miss his NES.
Fortunately for the red-head teenager, it seems that the Gods have heard his prayers and have blessed him with a new source of entertainment, exclusive front-row seats that only he is the audience of, said entertainment being the hidden feelings between you and Jotaro.
Well, it's not really hidden—you're both aware of your feelings, just not each other's. And being the only other teenager left, the two of you ran to Kakyoin to rant about your feelings.
And just the admissions alone was already absolutely amusing.
You were the first to admit your feelings.
It was still early on the journey, and Kakyoin was tasked to retrieve tickets with Jotaro, but he found that the teen had already gone on without him. Shrugging it off, Kakyoin opted to enjoy his stay and make the most of the hotel amenities instead.
He found himself in the pool area, and much to his surprise, he caught you in one of the beach chairs on the poolside. Feeling his eyes on you, you wave him over, and he approaches you to sit on the beach chair adjacent to yours.
It was quiet, and Kakyoin racked his brain for anything to say. Eventually, he opens up the conversation with one of the obscure facts he knows off the top of his head.
Thankfully, you responded in kind, and the conversation flowed easily from there. Your conversation bounced from one thing to another before eventually, the both of you settled in comfortable silence while laying back on your respective beach chairs.
It was a bit sudden for Kakyoin, but he'd be lying if he said he was surprised when you suddenly admitted it.
"I think I like him...." You spoke, suddenly breaking the silence between you and the red-headed teen. Kakyoin glances at you, and he can see you feeling a bit embarrassed to say it out loud.
"Hm..." Kakyoin hums in response before adding with a noticeable teasing lilt in his voice. "Who? Polnareff?"
"Yes, of course. Because I want a grown man." You respond sarcastically, rolling your eyes as you look at him, watching his lips turn up to an amused smirk. "I'm talking about Mr. Joestar, obviously."
"Right, my mistake." Kakyoin matched your energy, the both of you sharing a chuckle, before he turns to look at you, meeting your gaze.
"So, Jotaro, huh?"
Kakyoin's smirk widens at the sudden smitten look on your face just from the mention of the name, and he's 99% positive that you don't even realize it.
"Yeah..." You sigh, one that reminds him of a hopeless romantic protagonist of romcoms he's seen his parents watch before. "I mean, can you blame me? Going through all these troubles just for his mom? How he jumped to save that kid without hesitation? And that face of his isn't helping."
"Honestly? I can't say I'm surprised." Kakyoin responds to your small rant, his voice soft and comforting. He sees your lips part, looking at him in slight panic, and he cuts you off before you can even speak.
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me."
"Thanks, Kakyoin."
"Mhm. Thank you for trusting me with this."
On the other hand, it took Jotaro quite a while before he admitted it—both to himself and to his friend.
After a long day of fighting the menace that was Steely Dan and a long day of traveling, they ended up in another hotel. As usual, Jotaro and Kakyoin ended up sharing a room, and you ended up getting separated from them with your very own room.
It was a really long day for both teenagers; both were drained and worn out, with Kakyoin mentally exhausted from exerting the effort to manifest his stand in a much smaller form and Jotaro both mentally and physically drained after all the beating he took earlier in the day.
"I should've beaten him up more." Jotaro groans from his bed, making Kakyoin turn to look at him, a brow raised.
"Steely Dan? You ended up hating him that much?" Kakyoin responds before leaning on his elbows, still lying on the bed. "How bad are the things he did to you when we left you with him?"
"That's not the issue. I've already made him pay for what he did to me." Jotaro responds, before shooting up from his bed, removing his hat, and placing it on the shared nightstand between their beds, running a hand through his hair.
"But...." Jotaro trails off, and Kakyoin sits up on his bed as well, raising his brow even more.
Jotaro grumbled something under his breath, and Kakyoin could swear he heard your name amongst the words the other teen grumbled.
Kakyoin repeats your name, and Jotaro faces Kakyoin, his gaze hardened.
"What about them?" Kakyoin asks curiously.
"I can't easily forgive him for the shit he did to them."
Kakyoin is quite surprised by his words and how genuine they sound. His gaze darts to his friend's face, his scowl deeper than usual, a vein almost popping on his temple. Jotaro's exhaustion must be making him slip his composure, his emotions taking hold of his exhausted mind.
"What did he do?"
"He grabbed them. Right. in front. of. me." Jotaro scowls, his jaw clenched tightly. "Grabbed onto their arm so tightly like they were his."
Kakyoin blinks at that, his eyes widening slightly. No.. that expression on Jotaro's face.. it wasn't annoyance. Not completely...
"Held their chin to make them look at him. His face was so damn close to theirs, I would've punched him right then and there if it wasn't for the old man."
Definitely not annoyance. It's jealousy.
"I could feel Star Platinum just about ready to make him regret being born, and I had to actively hold him back." Jotaro finishes his mini-rant with a deep, annoyed sigh, his eyes darting over to look at Kakyoin.
It was Jotaro's turn to look confused at the amused grin on Kakyoin's face, a knowing look in his lavender gaze, making Jotaro's brows scrunch in confusion as he looks at his friend.
"The hell are you smiling about?" Jotaro asks bluntly with a deep scowl, "Didn't you hear a thing I just said?"
"I think you're the one who didn't hear what you just said, Jotaro." Kakyoin responds amusedly, his grin not faltering even under the scrutinizing gaze of Jotaro Kujo.
"What are you blabbering about?"
"Think back to your words, Jotaro. You're not stupid."
Jotaro paused for a while, running a hand through his already messy hair at his friend's cryptic behavior. He was already exhausted and pissed off; he didn't need any more of Kakyoin's bullshit—still, curiously, Jotaro did as he was asked.
Kakyoin's amused smile slowly widens along with Jotaro's eyes slowly widening in realization as he plays his own words back in his mind. His surprised gaze turned to look at Kakyoin.
"Are you suggesting....?" Jotaro trails off with a hiss. "Fuck off."
"I'm not even saying anything."
"Don't think about it. I'd rather eat my socks."
"Oh?"
"Don't look at me like—" Jotaro sighs. "It's not like that,"
"But it is," Kakyoin insists with a raised brow and a smirk, "Isn't it?"
Jotaro didn't even respond this time, looking away from his friend's teasing gaze as his own landed on his bed sheets. Kakyoin could see the dust of pink on the other teen's cheeks the more he remained silent, and that was already enough of a response to him.
"God fucking damnit." Jotaro curses under his breath at the realization, letting out a deep sigh as he glares at his sheets. Kakyoin remained silent as he let Jotaro think about his newfound feelings.
Eventually, Jotaro turns his head to look at Kakyoin, the usual calm, cold, neutral look on his face as his ocean gaze stares through his lavender ones.
"Turn away for a bit." Was all Jotaro said. Confused, Kakyoin did as he was told, turning his back to Jotaro and looking at the wall beside his bed.
Suddenly, Kakyoin jumps slightly in surprise.
Jotaro is screaming.
It's muffled, probably by his pillows and his sheets, and it probably wasn't loud enough to be heard outside their room, but loud enough to surprise Kakyoin.
It didn't take long before he heard a deep breath and then silence.
"Good night," Jotaro spoke nonchalantly, and Kakyoin swiftly turned, but Jotaro was already on his side, back turned towards the red-head who was only blinking at him in a mix of amusement and surprise.
"Also, don't tell anyone about this."
"Aye, aye, captain."

You Gotta Buy Them a Rose… (Kakyoin x Reader Headcanons)
↳ Headcanon list of how the other Crusaders advise Kakyoin on how he should ask you out. Gender neutral Reader with they/them pronouns. Everyone lives AU. Polnareff and Avdol are written as a couple because it’s canon.
A/n: This idea came to me late at night and I physically couldn’t stop working on it until I was done. The Crusaders are all disasters and Kakyoin is especially so for thinking asking them for relationship advice is a good idea. Hope y’all enjoy!
Warning(s): Canon-typical swearing.
Tumblr media
There’s no point in denying it: Kakyoin’s fallen head over heels for you.
And although the feeling is a foreign one, it’s not unwelcome. Suddenly, all music gushing about a love dropping into one’s life unexpectedly makes complete sense to him. Every gushy line, every cliché- it all circles back to you in his mind.
Kakyoin’s confident… mostly.
While a part of him does fear rejection, his main concern is how to even approach asking you out. As much as those previously mentioned picture-perfect serenades remind him of you, they’re not exactly something to rely on. Especially not movies or TV shows.
He doesn’t necessarily want to wait for you to ask him, figuring that since he likes you, he should man up and ask himself. Truly, he does want to take the initiative.
So, he goes to the other Crusaders for advice. After all, they’re his closest circle of friends. At the very least, he knows he’d pull honest answers each of them…
#1: Joseph Joestar
Well… he is married, after all.
That was Kakyoin’s line of reasoning. It’s not a bad assessment to make. Sure, Mr. Joestar is a little goofy at times. But clearly, whatever he’s doing has got to work… right?
Clearing his throat first, Kakyoin asked Mr. Joestar on what he thinks he should do.
The elderly man’s eyes lit up almost instantly, and a wide grin followed. His immediate excitement brought a smile to Kakyoin’s face as well, a little touched by the sincerity of Mr. Joestar’s glee.
So what went wrong? He started talking.
He began detailing how “delicate” the development of romance is. That he’s got to flirt and flirt and flirt and flirt. All while boasting about how Kakyoin went to the right person despite very clearly having no clue what he was talking about.
“Just tell me… what worked for you, Mr. Joestar?”
“Well, I flirted with her- that’s key. I won her heart with my smooth charisma. Then… uh… don’t remember exactly what happened after that. But! I know she nursed me back to health after I got injured and then we got married. Yeah… that’s pretty much what happened. I think.”
“Wait… you never asked Mrs. Joestar out on a date before marrying her?”
“No.”
“Have you asked anyone on a date before?”
“Yes… uh, maybe. I don’t really remember.”
Mortified; Kakyoin was absolutely mortified.
After sitting through Mr. Joestar’s lecture, Kakyoin politely gave him his thanks. With a forced smile, he told him he’d think over his advice.
The old man seemed pleased with that, at least.
Truthfully, the only thing Kakyoin thought over after the conversation was why on earth he asked a man who got married in the 1930s for relationship advice.
#2: Muhammad Avdol
Okay, okay… so Mr. Joestar’s advice wasn’t Kakyoin’s speed. That’s fine. It was sort of nice hearing about Mr. Joestar’s youth (Kakyoin’s doing his best to stay positive).
Honestly, he doesn’t know what he was thinking. Going to Mr. Joestar first…? Really?
Surely Avdol would give him better advice. He is much more levelheaded, and it’s likely in part due to that quality that his relationship with Polnareff is sailing smoothly.
Plus, the two didn’t get married after a couple of months at most! Now we’re talking.
Avdol seemed humbled at the question; grateful that Kakyoin trusted him enough to ask.
The two shared a laugh over Mr. Joestar’s goofy approach to giving advice. The two adults are old friends, and Kakyoin couldn’t help himself. He knew Avdol would get a kick out of it.
Afterwards, Avdol went on to offer his own wisdom on the subject. It’s as straightforward as it gets. His attitude on the matter is simply, “Just go ahead and ask them out.”
His reasoning is that worrying about waiting too long or fussing over the perfect moment is just going to cause more anxiety to fill his mind. He understood the worry; we were all 17 once. But (a bit ominously) Avdol warned he’d likely regret procrastinating.
It’s something Kakyoin definitely needed to hear.
Out of everyone, Avdol’s advice is the most reasonable. That said, Kakyoin can’t help but feel like he should still do something besides just asking. Because he genuinely thinks you deserve something sweet- something thought out.
He told Avdol this, and the Egyptian man hummed while tapping his chin. After mulling it over for a moment, he turned back to Kakyoin with a smile.
“Would you like me to do a tarot reading on it?”
#3: Jean Pierre Polnareff
Kakyoin’s getting desperate.
The tarot reading was interesting, though. According to Avdol, the odds are in his favor. That said, he’s not going to leave this up to fate only.
And there’s no wingman in the world better than Polnareff.
He’s known about Kakyoin’s feelings for you for a long time. Although annoying at times, the Frenchman is usually very perceptive when it comes to romance (in any relationship other than his own). He was the first to ever say something about it, much to Kakyoin’s chagrin.
When Kakyoin finally came to him for help, Polnareff was just as ecstatic as Mr. Joestar had been.
He’s quick tease the teen about it, going on and on about how it was “only a matter of time before you’d need my expertise.” The more he talked, the more Kakyoin regretted his decision.
That said, the redhead does admit that Polnareff brought up one interesting point.
“Environment.”
“Pardon?”
“It’s not so much how you ask them out- but where.”
Polnareff says that scenic surroundings certainly adds to the mood and may even heighten his confidence beforehand. Not only that, but taking you somewhere with the intention of asking you out shows implicit initiative. It shows care; which is something Polnareff is sure you’ll recognize.
The advice was quite sound, to Kakyoin’s surprise. At this point, he wasn’t expecting much. Too bad Polnareff- much like Mr. Joestar -was too busy boasting most of the conversation.
Towards the end of their discussion, Polnareff assured Kakyoin that it would all be good. He would know! He knows all about relationships. He did ask Avdol out, after all. Just as he said that, Avdol walked in with a raised eyebrow.
“You didn’t ask me out. I did; after weeks of you walking circles around me.”
Polnareff cleared his throat, and was damn near ready to start shoving Kakyoin out the door. “Okay! Thanks for the talk Kakyoin; remember what I said! See you later then!”
#4: Jotaro Kujo
“Good grief… why the hell are you asking me that?”
Honestly, Kakyoin has no idea himself.
What was he thinking? His best friend’s clear disinterest in romantic relationships is the reason why he went to the others in the first place. Why ask Jotaro for relationship advice?
Ask Jotaro for relationship advice… it doesn’t even sound right.
That said, Kakyoin’s still a bit bitter about it. If not, at least petty. He decided afterward that the next time Jotaro goes to him looking for advice, he’ll give him the same exact response.

You need to be willing to set boundaries with Kakyoin about this new okay to touch him
Kakyoin struggles to communicate what he feels, so he will be forever thankful if you are ready to listen and help him through his thoughts
He isn’t a big PDA guy
But please still touch his arm or back gently
Please still hold his hand
But big displays such as kisses and hugs
Even brushing your knuckles over his cheeks and moving that bit of hair out of his face are going to be a no-go
That is until you both are out of the public eye and away from the other Crusaders
Then please please pleaseeeee pull him down and plant kiss after kiss to his lips and cheeks
Please nuzzle your nose against his
PLEASE wrap your arms around his neck and hold him close
And if you’re in a space where you can sit and hold each other
Expect to not be getting up any time soon
Kakyoin not only wants you to touch him but he want to be able to touch and hold you too
He’s going to try and get you both your own room so that he can hold you close throughout the night
But the other Crusaders are not going to allow this without some teasing
So please be ready to snap back at them, snag the room key Polnareff was guarding, take Kakyoin’s hand tightly in yours, and guide him to your room
As you two fall asleep please run your fingers through Kakyoin’s hair and press soft kisses to his forehead
He’ll be out like a light and just oh-so-happy
While out and about during your travels, Kakyoin is going to be your shadow
He’s following you everywhere
He’s sitting next to you at meal times, while on the train or plane or boat or car
He needs to be near you
Not only will he grab for your hand and hold it in his lap
He’s going to rub circles into the back of it
And if he feels there are too many eyes watching him
He’ll make sure to still find a small way to touch you
Whether that be the tips of his fingers brushing against your own fingertips
Or his foot resting next to yours
You, Kakyoin, and Jotaro had chosen to separate from the other Craudasers to look around a cute little shop you had spotted just on the way to the hotel. Jotaro had followed along upon your invitation, sensing he had been growing more and more weary of Polnareff and his grandfather by the second.
Shelves rose throughout the small shop, turning it into a small labyrinth of trinkets and goods that blocked the view of the clerk and other customers from you. It was quiet and smelled of the species lining one of the shelves.
Kakyoin held your hand and you held his as you guided him through the shop, Jotaro looming behind you two with hardly an interest for the things within the shop.
Despite all the wonders this shop held, Kakyoin couldn’t keep his eyes off of you. Not as your happy face grew excited at new discoveries. Discoveries you would turn and show to Kakyoin who would nod and, if he could think of one, tell you a fact of the item. His facts only seems to excite you further and it made his heart flutter like some caged bird in his chest.
Kakyoin only took his eyes off you once and it was when he noticed Jotaro taking an interest in a little gold hair comb. It spurred an idea to form in his mind. He loved his friend but oh dear did he wish to feel your hands on his cheeks. So, with a quick pull of your hand, he rushed around the corner into the next, thankfully empty, aisle.
“What--” He cut you off with a simple kiss to your knuckles. A kiss that made your skin spark.
“I love you.” He murmured against your skin making you smile wider. You quickly pulled closer, pressing your body against his. His cheeks flushed a dusting of pink at the closeness. A pink that only deepened as you stood to your tippy toes to press a single kiss to his cheek.
“I love you more, sweetness.” He smiled, just about ready to lean down and press a tender, fleeting kiss to your lips when he caught the black-clad Joatro round the corner. He sighed through his nose, giving your hand a squeeze that you squeezed right back.
“Jotaro, that’s beautiful.” You said, commenting on the hair comb in his hand. “For your mom?” Jotaro’s face never once shifted from its cool calm, but Kakyoin was skilled enough to catch the slight twitch at the corner of his friends lips.
“Yes,” Joatro said in that gruffing way of his.
“You know, Kakyoin told me the flower on that comb is a lotus flower.” You said, looking up at Kakyoin in such an adoring way it took the very air from his lungs. “It symbolizes rebirth, strength, the heart, as well beauty. It’s perfect for her.” Kakyoin nearly pulled you right back in then.
You remembered. You listened. No one had cared enough to listen to what he had to say, let alone remember. And here you were always listening.
“I saw some earrings that would match perfectly! I’ll show you.” You said, beginning to guide Kakyoin and Jotaro back through the shop. Kakyoin followed more than happily.
He isn’t so shy about Hierophant Green touching you through
That Stand his going to be wrapped around your neck like a scarf every chance he gets
He is a quiet Stand, but his actions speak volumes
He’ll nuzzle his head into your cheek or neck
Cling to your back like some strange backpack
Rest his chin on top of your head
Hugging you whenever Kakyoin wishes he could but feels as if there are too many people around
The only time Hierophant is missing from your side is when Kakyoin is or whenever the other Crusaders are around
During battle, Kakyoin will send a tendril from Hierophant to wrap around you and pull you out of the way of an attack you might not have seen or been able to dodge
Kakyoin knows you can fight and knows you can fight well so he tries to let you do what you do best without his consistent hovering and concern
But he is still sticking as close to you as he can and keeping a close eye on you
Just in case you needed some backup
!!MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING OF PART 3!!
The only time Kakyoin had felt your side truly is during the battle against DIO and his horde of Stand Users
While he was pulled into a portal with Joatro and his grandfather, you were left with Polnareff, Iggy, and Avdol
And even then you were separated from those three
The Stand User you had been pitted against had dragged you from DIO’s manor to wage war on you throughout the streets of Cairo
And when you had finally met back up with Kakyoin, you were quick grab his face and make sure he wasn’t too hurt
And Kakyoin was glad for the touch
A touch he gave you right back
In a flash, DIO was upon you all once more
So fast and otherworldly
Blink after blink you seemed to lose time
You were saved by Hierophant from getting your throat ripped out by the last second and thrown through the window of an empty coffee shop just to get away from the brutal speed of DIO
You came to with broken bones, bleeding you couldn’t find the source of, and pain radiating throughout your whole body
But you pulled yourself to your feet and out of the shop
Only to find Kakyoin going head-to-head against DIO
You blinked, time seeming to be lost to you once more and Kakyoin was gone from where he had just been
Mr. Joestar screaming out Kakyoin’s name echoed through the air and through your mind
And you found a rush of water pouring down the side of a building from the water tank that sat up there
You didn’t let your eyes travel further up than that
Didn’t let brain catch up to the reality that had just unfolded within the small second of a blink
You didn’t let it catch up to what your heart knew to be true
All you knew was DIO had to die
All you could do was fight until the battle of over or until your last breath
Kakyoin had thought of many things as sound stopped ringing in his ears
As his body began to grow numb and cold
As he gave forth his last Emerald Splash
He thought of his family
Of his friends
Of what DIO’s stand was capable of
And he thought mostly about you
About you and what could have been
He thought about your touch
A warm touch he could have sworn he felt wrap around his broken body as all thought and strength escaped him

Notes: Er, hi. This is my first time trying something in this way. This will be my first, in english, fanfic. At the moment I'm writing, is almost 4 am and well, I wanted to share a story and any mistake in my writing is because is dark and english isn't my mother language. So please just be kind with me... I promised to have some cool ideas. The story is a Jotaro x Kakyoin x Reader.
"He always was the most sweet boy I ever talk to. And one day.. Well, I just wished I could have had more time to know him better.. Never expect to be able to see him again."
Talking With Death
It all started way before I could understand what it was. Weird dreams about him. Weird memories that, maybe, never existed before. And in the middle of everything... she.
At the beginning, it was a dark and cold place. But, after some nights I could hear the songs coming from somewhere close. I could see the lights. And I just follow it. I guess I wasn't suppose to find, or discover, that place. Because when I did, I found myself trying to have more time with him.
I discover that daydreaming also takes me to that place. Well, the songs was in my mind, even after I woke up. I guess, It was suppose to mean something... right? Because in the end, it's calling me. Or at least, looks like it's calling me.
I know people treat the death of someone dear, in their own kinda way. To be clear express emotions, specially in public, was always something that I don't kinda like it. I mourning his death, for sure. Like everyone. And even more, cuz we're not supposed to talk to anyone. Everything that happen, all the trip.. It's supposed to be a secret.
You see, sharing this... all of this.. in here, Well I guess it's the best way to keep it out of my mind and help with what is and isn't happening. It's a way to keep in touch with reality, while I try to discover what it's all of this.
I'll try to be clear, but in a way only I can understand. This isn't suppose to anyone to read, anyway.
What I know for sure, until now, is that:
It HAS to be someone's who have a Stand;
I guess, it has to be someone powerful, otherwise someone close?
It can talk with the dead, or connect in some trick way people with the recent dead.
The place is an old kinda of castle with European architecture. I guess it's some abandoned ruin without many towers, at least now. Some of the interior reminds me of Bran Castle, the "Dracula's Castle" from Bram Stoker. Fair, I guess.
There's a event every night, and it's always some kind of ball, decorated with white Jasmine flowers all around. At first, I had that weird feeling when I found. The path created with the flowers keep bring me some calm energy sensation. Like someone telling me that now everything is fine.
I can see we're not alone. But I can't see their faces. Everyone else's face have a blur or some kind of mask covering. And I can't remember their faces after waking up. Have try to use Star Platinum to make a drawing, but it fails. Every single time it fails. I don't have any other faces then his..
7. It allow me to connect with Kakyoin.
And it's like he never left.
⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏⊐⋈⊏
Jasmine
This flower perfume is an antidepressant, can relaxes the nerves and relieves headaches, while help fights insomnia and is an aphrodisiac.
The dreams started maybe in the end of November 1988. Maybe even earlier that the mind allows. Weird dreams with some know random guy from school. He's not in school anymore, he changed for some reason.
But he's still in my dreams. I talk with him during those dreams. He's sweet, the sweetest guy I ever talk to. That wasn't many, anyway. But he's one of them. With stories... stories that could only came from a another reality. Another world. One far away of me.
His way of being during those moments, took down any walls that I have built in after the years. His voice could make me fell secure and relieve. Relieve from pain... The physical and mental pain. I could talk with him about anything. And after some time, even the sorrow... the depression.. went away. I became, in a weird way, closer to him.
He said some time about some flower that would help. I guess, of course, it might have been the flower that did all of it. I mean, with the pain. It must have been the flower.
Jasmine, he told me.
And I started to dream with jasmine. Even during the day, I would catch myself feeling the perfume in the middle of my daydreams. Weird, but I didn't question it. Walking any less sad... it's good enough for me.
Then, he left.
Without a warning. Without a sound. Nothing.
Just left.
And I was alone again in my dreams. Or nightmares..
This time, holding jasmines close to a tomb. A cold and dark place, different from before. Far from our comfy little room, it all turned into a dark and cold tomb with his name on it. And I just knew, I had to do it right this time. It couldn't be like before, it had to be perfect. Flawless.
Just to be able to meet with him again. To keep talking with him... keep him somewhere safe..? I'm not sure. But I was sure enough about saving him. I don't know what kind of change I made. I guess I made some, because he's there in the next time I search for him. He had some pretty bad scars in his eyes, but he's there.
Our place also changed after that. The room, I mean, the tomb transform itself into a big old castle, like the ones in a fairy tale. But so much more cold. And dark, without life. The clothes that we had, I only took attention at them when the tomb appear, begin to change into something more... how could I describe? Fantastic. Or better, like we're using costumes.
You look like Death, he told me. You know, death... the grin reaper. But I don't fell in danger or threatened. It's like you're suppose to be here.
Everything was back to the normal. As I guess it could supposed to be. Normal.. Well, let's try again. The talk and way we treat each other was back to normal. Like he didn't had have disappear for nights, and I didn't have made a deal with the devil kinda deal to have him back.
It's calm. But I could notice that he's not like before. We talked and walk around, but he seemed more thoughtful. Sometimes lost in his own mind. During this moments, I found myself also thinking or just observing the dream. Watching the big ball occur while we sit next to it. Only been some kind of decor in the background.
It's weird to be able to see again during this dreams. It's like I never lost this ability. Well, actually it's weird to be here, he murmured one time.
I didn't try to explain. How could I? What it have to me to explain? I didn't try.
And then he appear.
Taller, big.. Like some kinda of bear. Some well come present that was invited from the woods. I never took much attention, but looks like the dream was expanding. From far away. And now, it's slowly being guide to the castle. To the ball.. To us? Well, I don't know.
I just allow it. I guess, I allow it.
He wasn't a treat.
He was just another... guest.
