[NORAGAMI SPOILERS] shinki shiro is automatically immune to the doom brought by the god's greatest secret

would it really hurt/kill yato if the shinki hiyori gains her memories back and feels wrath over her death? the one who killed her was someone from the far shore, if she went to visit her family they would most probably see her (the father excluded, i think?), and obviously because she's been very passionate over yato's welfare.

i'm coming from how noragami portrayed kazuma's enlightenment because, apparently, once shinkis chose their master over their nearshore lives, their master wouldn't get harmed. it wouldn't be too far-fetched for hiyori to choose him, regardless of how much she loved her people at the nearshore (hell, she repeatedly chose him over nearshore people even way back). and to stregthen the point further, hiyori also has the upperhand because even during her nearshore life, she's already aware of the concept stipulating the god's greatest secret.

hiyori could essentially be saved by her own memories. i think what needs to be saved instead is yato. the places his guilt could bring him is scarier to imagine.

I don’t write a lot of yandere stuff on here. maybe occasionally I’ll write something but it’s hard to characterize characters with darker intentions

NOT WITH FUJISAKI/FATHER THOUGHH

He would make such a perfect yandere ESPECIALLY if we put in a reincarnated reader

For the sake of making things easier, imma refer to this dude as Father

Father had to have known you when he was once alive, before his death, to be attached to you

Whether you both shared a romantic or platonic relationship, his obsession with you is the same

Controlling and suffocating

Before his death, you guys traveled together

You’ve accompanied him wherever he went, always having that perfect smile on your face if yall ever faced a problem

He appreciated your positive attitude, seeing as he had a more nihilistic approach on most things

You accepted his views of the gods above, even if you didn’t quite share the same feelings

You fully believed things happened for a reason, even if they aren't ideal

He’d be extremely protective of you and would often shelter you from others as he believed you were a bit naive

He made it known that he didn’t like it when you spoke to people of the new village you arrived in

Besides himself and Kaya, who had saved you both from the nearby river, you wouldn’t get much interactions from others

To keep him placate, you would more often than not keep quietly to his side

Father cared deeply for both you and Kaya, enjoying the time you all spent together scouting for food

Everything had been fine for many months

That is until yours and Kaya’s untimely demises. Everything goes downhill from there

For centuries, he’d hold onto the memories and grudge your death had left behind

I think this would be when his more darker side comes out, that even after death, he holds you on such a high pedestal

Father would tell stories of you to both Mizuchi/Nora and Yato. They both knew to never interrupt him when he spoke of you, lest they wanted to feel his wrath

They both knew that even long after your death, he still searched the entire country for you

So imagine Father's shock when he sees your sweet face one sunny afternoon

He'd be coming back from school as Fujisaki had to attend, but would only stare starstruck at you from across the street

You had sat on bench looking over your notes from your classes and failed to realize the stare burning onto you

Consider your fate sealed after this honestly

He'd slowly yet surely integrate himself in your life, whether you wanted him to or not

You don't have a say anymore, not after you left him for so long

With no hesitation, he would drag you into the spirit world

You would have the sight to see beyond regular humans, to see the ayakashi hidden from human eyes

It terrifies you, especially because you cannot defend yourself against these monster

Which is why Father RELISHES whenever you beg him to protect you from the corrupted souls

He actually uses this against you whenever he can, if your disobeying him or if you're fighting back too much for his liking

Since you want to leave so bad, go ahead. He won't stop you. Let's see how far you can get though. After all, you're just a mortal on the verge of death without him

You'll die if he isn't around to protect you. He makes that known whenever you have to be without him.

Father would send Mizuchi to look after you whenever he can't

She follows whatever Father says, even scaring you a bit whenever he feels as if you're getting too confident

She pretends to be your friend, but I think reader is smart enough to know she'll always be on Fujisaki's side

Mizuchi enjoys unsettling you, always appearing from the darkness and whispering in your ear

She doesn't understand what her father sees in you, but if you're important to him she'll accept it, for now

After all, she does get quite jealous whenever Father's attention strays from her

He is honestly so cruel to reader im so sorry

He spends hours breaking you down trying to get you to remember your past

To remember everything he does

He will not accept the fact that you're a different person now. You are still the same from when he remembered you, and if he has to train you to behave the way you did before, then so be it

I feel like your only saving grace MIGHT be Yato or if you were a devoted follower to a God before being taken by Father

Yato might help you, just a little bit, but he won't outright help you escape

Unless you request his service to do so, then he's obligated to help you as a delivery god

But he doesn't enjoy messing around with anything regarding his father

He keeps his distance but pities you

If you were a devoted follower of a god though, you might have some 'angels' looking over you

Perhaps this god felt a looming sense of danger hovering near you and decided to take pity on you

You would be blessed with a protective item, maybe a necklace or a bracelet! The protective blessing put on the item you wear will protect you from any physical harm, it's honestly the best thing you could have at this point

It's your last hope to have faith and to stay strong

To not let this man crazed by time destroy and ruin you

Father enjoys seeing how you still have some fight left in you

He admires it dearly as it reminds him of the past

You may try as much as you want though, you're not going to be escaping him anytime soon

He'll make you remember him one way or another

OMG

He would TOTALLY take you with him whenever doing some dangerous shit

Like if Yato was planning on hunting him down, boom

You'd be there as a human shield for Father

Father knows Yato would never hurt an innocent human like you and uses it to his advantage to make dramatic getaways

Takemikazuchi doesn’t want for much, given his nature as a god, so he takes particular pleasure in receiving handmade gifts, or engaging in activities the two of you can do together.

For one, he adores teaching you certain things, such as self defense, or how to write a certain script.

Likewise, he loves when you show him how you make a certain dish, or explain handy tricks you’ve learned over time.

He loves hearing your take on certain holiday myths, and will occasionally shed light on events that he has knowledge of.

He tries to drag you out on vacation for the holidays, but if it doesn’t work, then he’ll settle for staying at either your place or your family’s house. ((Last time, he brought you back with him unannounced. It did not go well.))

Takemikazuchi will try to shower you in as much affection as he can during the holidays, and definitely goes overboard on the gift giving. ((He has the means to, is his usual retort. Plus, in his defense— He doesn’t want anyone thinking that you’re free. You’re taken. By him. No one else can have you.))

He’s prone to holding your hand, or wrapping an arm around you when you’re together in public.

He also shows off for you, at times. ((You’ve both been politely asked to stop playing the games at the fair, for one— The stall owner sheepishly explained that he still needed to hand out prizes to other people, as well. Takemikazuchi kept winning them all…))

Prompt: “Man. I was hoping you’d fall asleep in my arms.”

Shinji Hirako

He really didn’t expect you to be so invested in such a dull movie. He picked it on purpose, expecting you to be bored out of your mind and fall asleep in his arms.

A coward he may be, but clever nonetheless. If he was too shy to tell you how he felt, then why not figure out a way to get you to fall for him?

But, when the fall doesn’t happen, he turns to find you very concentrated in the movie.

That's when he had no choice but to push.

“Man. I was hoping you’d fall asleep in my arms.” He tried to sound bored, glancing here and there at you. 

He thought he didn’t get a reaction from you, but after a few long minutes, you’re looking right at him with wide eyes. He returned the look, concerned if what he said was something he shouldn’t have said. He wasn’t expecting such a face from you.

“What?” He asks you.

“W-well…um…I just wasn’t expecting that from you,” you mumble, “w-were you trying to get me to do that?”

Shinji looked away in embarrassment, scratching his chin nervously. “I mean…it was an attempt. Did it work?”

Your face was red, making him smirk in slight victory. “Uh…it does sound appealing.” 

He opens his arms for you to rest on his chest. He couldn't be anymore happier, knowing that he managed to get you in his arms.

Yato

It was selfish, he knows, but he couldn’t keep it to himself any longer. As much as he cares for you, he just never found the time to admit how much he loves you to your face. So, he figured this just might do the trick. 

To his surprise, though, he finds you so invested in the movie that was supposed to be boring for you. 

He knows you to be the type to fall asleep if you were to get bored, so he for sure knew this would work. Apparently, he didn’t know you as well as he thought.

“Man…I was hoping you’d fall asleep in my arms.” He mumbled to himself. But he didn’t realize he said it aloud to where you could hear. He watched your eyes slightly widen as you watched the TV, slowly turning your head to him.

“H-huh?” You gasp lightly.

He already dug himself, might as well continue. “I mean…that’s uh…if you wanted to…?” Smooth, Yato. Real smooth.

You smiled and chuckled at his weird behavior. But you nodded and instinctively yawned. “Sure.” 

He couldn’t feel anymore happier in his life. He couldn’t believe it actually worked, and he forsees his future to use this tactic whenever there was a good opportunity.

Edward Elric

Television was always something boring in daily life. To Edward, at least. He’d rather go around and chase bad people or train than sit and watch something. But such an opportunity couldn’t be missed. 

As often as his little brother nags him for never telling you his feelings, he feels pretty proud of himself at this moment. That is, until you didn’t fall asleep like he was hoping. 

I couldn’t stop staring at you as you watched the television so intently. How could you like news on crime going around town on a night like this? He simply couldn’t understand you, but that's why he loves you. 

Soon enough, you caught him staring at you. “What? Is there something on my face?”

He quickly cleared his throat, finally taking his eyes off of you. “Well….to be honest…I was hoping you'd fall asleep in my arms.”

“What?” You deadpan. This was not like the Edward you knew. If anything, he’d have training on his mind instead of someone he cares about. “What’s gotten into you?”

Now, he had to think of something. Of course, he didn’t have the guts to tell you his feelings at this moment, so instead, he thought of something else. “I just…I have a lot on my mind and need comfort.” He declares, head held high as if he is proud of something.

You raised your eyebrow. You weren't sure whether to believe him, but it isn’t really too far from the truth. As much as he’s gone through, it’s not surprising that he would need comfort here and there. With a sigh, you let yourself fall onto his shoulder. “Better?” You ask him as you slowly grow more comfortable leaning on him.

He nods slowly, wrapping his arm around your shoulders. “Y-Yeah…”

RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS : Takemikazuchi

- Takemikazuchi has a fascination with movie theatres, and anytime a new film comes out (( it doesn’t matter what genre)) he will ask you to see it with him. Of course, there have been a few times you’ve said no, and while he does get a little disappointed ((He may deny it, but Takemikazuchi pouts.)) he’s content to accept that you’re not interested in every upcoming film.

- Takemikazuchi is a fan of eating out, but the two of you have an unspoken agreement to avoid any sort of cat fish. You take turns choosing the restaurants you go to, and you’ve formed a sort of competition in seeing who can pick the better restaurant. Due to this, the two of you are slowly running out of more local restaurant options…

- Takemikazuchi will sometimes join you outside at night to stargaze, he’ll probably tell you a story or two, during this time. In the event you fall asleep, he makes it his job to ensure you’re in bed safely. ((It’s his job. He’s had to scare off a few nosy friends and the occasional family member, as putting you to bed is his thing. Of course, should you find out about this, he’d likely play it off cool.))

- Takemikazuchi loves it when you play with his hair, and this is one of the few ways you can actually get him to properly rest. ((He finds it incredibly soothing.))
