Kazuma often takes care of Veena (in my head) and often will do things more out of his own accord for her than even her asking him directly. He takes great pride and adores taking care of her. It was a random thought, but she managed to get dirt on her ankles and he sees this as soon as she steps into the house and so he gets a towel and she's? Confused? Because, what is he even doing? And then with a wet towel and a dry one, he just gets her to sit down and cleans her ankles and... she just. Sits there.
