#Doodles #SCII #Helix #Max Vyer #Dexter Favin #So while I'm not usually one to draw backgrounds I am actually Really into architecture and a little into decor and room design haha #Do I know much more than the basics? Nope! But I'm still fascinated by it :)#Some of these rooms have a very strong image in my head and some are fuzzier - it's been a bit since I reread #And I also haven't read with the layout in mind I don't think so there's that as well haha #I'll also freely admit to being very influenced by The Sims 2's build limitations when working these lol - spacing and density of items #Trying to map all these pieces of scenes into a continuous singular building is difficult! There are windows that butt up into other rooms!#It's a fun exercise tho :3 #Update: I have now reread with the layout in mind lol #My mental ears pricked every time there was a mention of furniture or layout lol #Like Max's couch! And a carpet in the foyer >:3c #And Dex's room also being upstairs :0 To think I almost made my first floorplan a single-story!#Silly me #I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've doodled Max's mom also :0 From memory - again - oops lol #I have always imagined that final scene with her as having this large-room/small in the frame kind of energy to it #All natural lighting and kind of dim and hazy - coming down from the high vibes #Actually pinning down a back wall is a whole other thing lol - sometimes the stairs are right there and sometimes they're in an alcove #It's always those tricky windows! And then actually populating a mansion with rooms that are useful lol #Dexter mentions that Max could've asked the cook but Max says he's asleep - how many people live on-site I wonder!#I'm also deeply enamoured with Max padding around in the middle of the night - a house he grew up in and feels safe wandering around in <3 #In his element ♥ Comfortable ♪♫

Holy fuck was today aggravating as all hell

NewLady is seriously getting on my nerves bc shes SO territorial ab the womens section but like she doesn't even do a good job there lmao like I get territorial ab childrens bc I'm the only one over there most of the time and only [relative coworker] and begrudgingly but willingly NetflixCoworker when needed but absolutely none of the overnight super fixers (people working nights for the past two weeks for an upcoming review) will even THINK ab touching children's

Like I get territorial bc I have a system and everyone else gets overwhelmed by the area as a whole that they just get tunnel vision and dont do shit right

But! My coworkers know that as long as I'm there and there's no need for me to do other sections that day (ie: needing to do the layout or helping unload pallets) that I'll do 50%-75% on average (100% on really good days) of the area

Newlady just does... I dont even know honestly but it's like a quarter ass job not even half ass shdhhfhfh but she hoards all the boxes from the pallets if they're womens and if you go down to help she screams at you! (Unless it's me lmao she likes me)

And she is SO unwilling to even think ab helping in another area that she literally turned her back and walked away when someone who doesnt even work clothing but was that day, told her she needed to help do children's

Like it's just so AUGH

And then I had to fix the layout bc she didnt read it when the ugly ass dresses came in but remembered me saying where they were going close enough (not blaming her for this though layouts suck ass) so I had to swap the two ugly dresses and then condense the shirts bc they purposefully will change ONE thing to check that you're reading the layouts right

Like the shirts were 3 rows across and like 4in down but the NEW layout had them TWO rows and 4in UP

Same shirts mind you, only thing that changed was the location of the rows and the spacing

And I dont even think the bottom row is right bc I THINK it's a whopping 1in up or down from what it is now but if they scrutinize us on such a minute detail while we have fucking 5 people working the entire area then they're even stupider than I thought

Fucking prioritize

OH and we found someone's VERY WORN puma shoe just thrown in with basics 😑 real classy customers we have huh (we dont sell anything puma)

#marquilla #and apparantly [relative coworker] whos been there FOREVER didnt know that this little asterisk/butthole looking icon means thats where the #section bar goes shdhdhd shes like no way thats two and i was like ''well theres two buttholes so!'' and had to show her sgdgdhfhf #like the layout looks so wrong that any customer would think we did it wrong but nope no thats how they want it stupid innit #all this on a day where my pain levels are all at 6/10 and i was having cramps AND i only slept 2.5 hours (: so fun #was bitching ab it A LOT with my coworkers that it's sooo convenient that the night clean up crew who are solely there for clothing #alllllwaaaaays run out of time and never get to childrens (: fuckers i know youre doing it on purpose you jackasses #at least im no longer afraid of the one overnight lady AGDGDGDGD i used to be terrified of her but she just has that kinda face #work talk

#logbook #hello im awake and abt t9 get up for my last shift this week #delivery came in ehrn i had like an hr left. when i lefg we had 3 palettes left for today.#delivery camr and guy was like 'we have yo wait for gc sup to c9me back from lunch to drive tomotor' what #i asked abt using a palette jack and hes like. oh yeah thatd work! what. WHAT. what have yall been dping nopw nvm dont care #also b4 that we broke down a table and cleared main aisle display and worked it out with mst and then store manager came and said nope #and to put it back. turns out hes sensible bc when he found out pogs changed he was like oh ok nvm then. but im staying out of those convos #thennnn after long day i drove to ml and helped them for a lil over 2hrs with moving houseplants insidr #im honestly so tired from yesterfay and was tired whrn i drovd there but im glad i did. it was a good lil shift.#and i helped c decide what the layout for the houseplants should be.#after i clocked out i cut my finger shsndmfmg and she freaked on me and 'doing eork off the clock gets you hurt' ok ok 😭#honestly ml was more fun then hl. usually is. broke a rule to do both double shifts tho. idc.#my first opinion is if its actually a problem my boss will say smth #my second opinion is what are they gonna do? fire me again?

I love when my phone updates and it involves needlessly changing navigation features that have been the same for multiple generations so now my muscle memory is just fucking wrong

#also love that i selected swipe features during this update and it gave me the buttons #went into settings and swipe was even selected but nope #showing buttons that you can not swipe on #also love how the button layout remains the same as the old navigation

#>:(#shits fucked up!#i used to be able to tap a link here in tumblr and itd open in firefox #i tried tapping on a link today and it tried to open in fuckin samsung internet!!!#firefox is my default browser on my phone and it even acknowledges it!!#i cant set a default browser to open from the tumblr app to fix this shit!!!#i cant delete or disable the samsung browser at all. not even on developer mode #i tried updating tumblr (i still think it looks hideous) and it worked once so i thought itd be okay to go back to my old version #nope! once i was back on the old version it opened links in samsung again!#so i tried updating tumblr again bc id be willing to put up with the layout if it meant avoiding samsung like the plague #but it doesnt work anymore! just that one time!#guess im looking at links the old fashioned way #copying them from tumblr and pasting them in firefox #i would never trust samsung with anything bc it always feels like theyre desperately hunting for my info #like equivalent apps dont ask for the shit that samsung asks for bc its not necessary to the function of the app in question #samsung needs to burn and die i literally dont care
