PENNY LANE: THE BEATLES REANIMATED COLLAB

After a few weeks of thinking, we (mainly me) finally decided to initiate a fun fan project that's open to all Beatles fans!

That is, this Re Animated collab between fans! Basically, in this project, we will be "Re-Animating"

one of the most popular Beatles Cartoon episodes, "Penny Lane"!

We're looking for all kinds of media/mediums!!!

Literally.

Video recording, stop motion, 2D, 3D animation, puppeteering, etc, are all welcome!

If it resembles the fab 4, it's totally welcomel! Variety and creativity are encouraged!

As of now, there are 87 parts opened! You have a good chance of making it into the project right now!

Better strike while the iron's still hot!

Also, before you apply for participation in this project, please know that part distribution may take a while since there are literally 77 parts ^^

Do animals cuddle in the wild ?

(Totally not me wanting an excuse to see cute animals photos)

pretty much all animals with social or semi-social lifestyles cuddle at least occasionally in the wild for everything from protection to enhancing bonds and relieving stress! this includes everything from birds and mammals to some really unexpected animals like sharks.

touch is just a near-universal love language.

I do sort of wish western anime fans would analyze anime and manga from a framework of japanese historical and cultural context. Specifically a lot of works from the 90s being influenced by the general aimlessness and ennui that a lot of people were experiencing due to the burst in the bubble economy and the national trauma caused by the sarin terrorist attack. I think in interacting with media that’s not local to our sociocultural/sociopolitical sphere it’s easy to forget that it’s influenced and shaped by the same kinds of factors that influence media within our own cultural dome and there ends up being this baseline misalignment of perception between the causative elements of a narrative and viewer interpretation of those elements. It’s a form of death of the author that i think, in some measure, hinders our ability to fully understand/come to terms with creator intent and the full scope of a work’s merits

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in
