OMNISCIENT  Tiana and Jey were out to Pensacola to meet the rest of his family, and she was trying to get her mind off of things that had been going on ever since Jey and Malakai fought the other day. She noticed Kai showing his gun on social media more often, which scared her.

She cared about his safety and her own, but she was really nervous about meeting his parents because all she could think was, ' Will they like me?' Will they compare me to his ex-girlfriend?'

She remained quiet throughout the ride, saying nothing when she felt Jey squeeze her thigh, grabbing her attention as her eyes darted in his direction.

"Mama, you okay?" He asked as was focusing on the road.

"Yeah, I'm fine Josh." Tiana said, knowing that she was lying to herself.

"Ight, mama, just making sure. You've been quiet for a minute now." Tiana knew that she could trust Jey; she was just worried about him and his safety. Kai waving around his gun like crazy just worries her.

She knows that Jey still stands his ground when it comes to him, but if he could keep that up when Kai has a gun, will he be able to stand his ground then?

They finally made it to his parents' house, and seeing how big it is compared to his or her home back in Cali, she and Jey got out of the car together. They held hands as they walked up the steps towards the front door, knocking on the door.

Jey could sense that Tiana was nervous, so he placed his lips on her hand and kissed it gently to calm her nerves.

"They will like you, mama. Don't be so nervous." Jey reassured her.

She nodded her head as they heard the door opening, seeing a very short lady standing there as she had smiled on her face seeing her son.

"Josh! Hello my son, I missed you!" Mama Talisua said.

"Hey, mama." Jey said softly as he hugged his mother she looked towards my way.

"Oh? Now, who is this pretty lady, Son?" She asked.

He chuckled at her while looking over towards my way, cheesing really hard, "Mama, this is my girlfriend Tiana, Tiana, this is my mother. You can call her Mama Talisua."

"Nice to meet you Mama Talisua." Tiana said as she and his mother hugged each other.

"She's very pretty Josh." Tiana blushed at her compliment as they went inside the house.

When they went inside, Tiana couldn't believe her eyes. Everything in the house looked aesthetically beautiful, and there was a lot of culture in the house, too, since they were Samoan.

But she was amazed at how the house looked inside, blowing her breath away as his mother showed her around the house.

Since they were staying there for the weekend, she showed them to their bedroom and let them look around the place while she let them be while leaving the room.

They placed their bags next to the dresser, and Jey scooped Tiana up by her thighs, catching her off guard and causing her to yell.

"See what I told you?" he said as he sat down. Tiana was now on his lap, facing him.

"Yeah, yeah, but she does have to get to know me still, Josh." She said, keeping her arms wrapped around his neck.

✧.* TIANA I was in the kitchen helping Mama Talisua out with lunch. I was cooking some Salmon on the stove as she cooked the rice, basically taking turns with the stove.

I was also cooking something extra, like some honey BBQ chicken, just in case Jey changes his mind because that's what he likes to do, which can be annoying sometimes. But as I was doing that, I heard Mama Talisua asking me something.

"So, Miss Tiana, how did you meet my son?" She asked.

"Well, I met your lovely son at his tattoo shop. He was charming," Tiana said as she focused on the Salmon.

"Yeah, that's Joshua for you. I raised him to be a gentleman, you know."

She shook her head in agreement, continuing, " He was covering up a tattoo for me of someone who used to be with me but not anymore, and we just hit it off right there. He took me out to lunch and everything." His mother's expression was shocked.

"I'm surprised he did that with you, honey. When I tell you that girl he was with before you was a living hell." Mama Talisua replied.

'She's talking about Kehlani.'

"She made his life a living hell honey."

'What does she mean by that? What the hell did Kehlani do?'

"Oh really? What did she do that made it that way?" I asked.

Before she could say anything, we heard Jey coming from downstairs. He went into the kitchen and looked at both of us.

"Y'all good? It's like y'all seen a ghost around here." He asked as we both nodded our heads.

He shrugged his shoulders as he got something to drink from the refrigerator and walked away, going upstairs to our bedroom.

"As was I saying honey, she was toxic and ruining his mental health every chance she would get I told him that he had to leave her alone or else it was going to get worst." She explained.

"And look what happened—it got worse. She cheated on him and broke his heart, and it made my heart hurt, too, seeing that. But now I see that he's getting back to being happy with you, so I thank you for that." I smiled at her, knowing that she was happy that her son was happy and not stressed.

"Of course Mama Talisua I would do anything for your son to be happy." I replied.

Me and Mama Talisua continued to talk to each other while getting to know each other better hell she even called me her 'future' daughter in law which that made me smile.

After we ate lunch together Jey and I were on the beach together enjoying the sand, splashing water on each other, him slamming me into the ocean getting sea water all in my hair and mouth.

I was honestly enjoying my time here in Pensacola I finally met his father he seemed pretty cool and welcome me in the family which made my heart feel more warm inside knowing that I'm apart of the family now.

As me and Jey were sitting together in the sand we heard someone call his name, as we both turn our heads seeing a unfamiliar person walking up to us but I guess it seems like Jey knew them as I saw him dabbing him up while looking towards my direction.
