Do you have any tips for making hookups happen? I find it so difficult to find sexual partners and was wondering if you were more experienced
Honestly I don’t think i’m particularly good at it. Being a trans woman means pursuit feels off the table because it is simply too easy for transmisogyny to misconstrue harmless friendly advances as something aggressive, especially as most sapphics in their 20s atm have really fragile senses of comfort and view their own vague discomfort as violence done against them. I cannot in good faith tell any trans girl to openly sexually pursue a hookup. Instead my advice is traffic in openness and sensuality. Make yourself appealing, try to dress in a way that makes you look sexy (not necessarily sexual just sexy), makes jokes about yourself being a sexual person and talk openly about being a slut (without going into too much detail otherwise merely talking could get you transmisogynyed). Basically act like a straight woman in the 70s who wants to get some, cause anything more open than that is a risk for tgirls. Ultimately it’s going to be about being patient, being attentive to the other person’s reciprocity or lack thereof, and slowly upping the stakes and waiting for them to make a mutual gesture of intention. If this sounds like a lot of work it’s because it is. And it’s deeply unfair to us that we have to work this way when ultimately open and direct communication should be the norm. But in a world that views trans women’s bodies as inherently aggressive we need to do what we can to limit harm coming to us. Good allies know all this and make the first move and relieve a lot of the stress, but unfortunately there’s not that many good allies (and often allies let their own fears of being the pursuer get in the way of them doing the pursuing work).
sorry this is such a bleak and unsatisfying answer. but yeah, just uh seem available/approachable.

okkkk and shes still loveless and alone. sorry! jayce hit that once and dipped ijbol
jayce went and blasted himself after fumbling the only lover he ever had in his less than 30 years of existence, forever subjected to eternity in the void with the eugenicist that manipulated his life across multiple timelines…
while mel ended her abuser, lived to tell the tale and got a massive inheritance in the process, all without even shedding a tear for a man she will likely forget once she returns to her family home in noxus 🤣🤣
i had a lot of fun typing this out so thanks for that but after this you’re blocked 🙏🏿

it's not that the office-appropriate women tailleurs are sexy, it's that we've only ever seen them used by movie-women or porn-women and they're therefore inherently seen as sexual... once again i cant wear a mini to work cause i dont want my creepy coworkers poppin a boner while they look at me

I can tell that I’m healing from working hellscape tier retail for that long because a 100 gecs song came on Spotify shuffle and it wasn’t as good as I remembered it being, probably bc I wasn’t chugging a java monster in my car at 4 am trying to convince myself that being alive was worthwhile before clocking in

So I'm signed up for this online 30's speed dating event for WLW and sapphics right?
Here's the thing: It looks like they aren't even bothering to regulate it at all because I see tons of people who aren't in their 30s and even some men are listed in the people who are signed up for the event.
What's even the point of a specific event for 30 something WLW if just anyone can join it? :/
#As a 30 year old I'm not interested in 18/19 year olds and yet a bunch of them are signed up for a event for women in their 30s???#any one who is in their 30s and wants to date teenagers is a total creep#I hope they realize that because I don't think they do#18 and 19 year olds look like children to me now#if you promise an event for women in their 30s please actually deliver it :(#If I'm using a site that's for women loving women- men shouldn't be allowed? I'm not looking for a man!#now I see why the lesbians and other sapphics get angry#I'm debating whether or not this is even worth my time because I'm not confident that it will be run well at all#so many people failed to understand the prompt or purposely don't care#they are either too young or the wrong gender- if you're not a woman in her 30s it's not for you?#If a woman is in her late 20s that's different but it was a bunch of people under 25#dating is inherently exclusive- most people aren't attracted to everyone else???#A lot of people fail to realize you CAN be pro equality and still not want to date most other people- it IS possible#Now selfish people are going to ruin something that isn't even for them :/#I am the target audience for this event and they are making me not want to participate#I'm 30 and sapphic- questioning whether bi or lesbian but I belong there#Should I be surprised? I really don't know what to think honestly#I'm a little angry that they don't seem to care who attends because I paid for a ticket- not too much but still?#mychatter

women can vent about men in general, because it's agreed that they are talking about specific types of people they have often encountered. to then after that ascribe to as a whole blanket statement and say EVERY man/masculine person is inherently bad helps abosolutely nobody. it empowers the people that are awful because it's expected of them, and it gives no room for those that want to do better to change, because any mistake they make is seen as 'well, told you so'. you can vent frustrations, but you and people reading it need to realise it's that it's not an absolute.
really cannot emphasise enough that "All Men Bad" and "masculinity is inherently violent, dangerous, and evil" are load-bearing pillars of radfeminism and these ideas cannot have a place in any truly progressive queer theorising.

Why are British teenage girls so unhappy? Here’s the answer (Caitlin Moran, The Times, Sep 13 2024)
"The report, by the Children’s Society, found that British 15-year-old girls are the most unhappy in Europe.
British girls aged 10-15 are “significantly less happy” with their life, appearance, family and school than the average boy — and their happiness is still declining.
Boys’ life satisfaction, meanwhile, remains broadly stable. (…)
But I still didn’t have an “aha!” moment about why this so disproportionately affects girls until… I talked to some teenage girls.
It was at a party, and I went to vape with them on the patio. Because I take my nicotine like children do.
“Duh — it’s the boys,” one said when I brought it up, as all the others agreed.
“The boys?” I asked.
My last book, What About Men?, had been all about how much boys struggle these days: their loneliness; their suicide rates. I’d spent the past year feeling very sympathetic towards boys.
“Yeah, well, who do you think they’re taking out their unhappiness on? It’s us,” another girl said.
“One boy at school used to draw a picture every day of how ugly I was,” a third girl said. “Every day for two years.”
“They’ve all got ‘Rate The Girls’ polls on their WhatsApps,” the first said. “They mark you down for weight gain, haircuts, what you say.”
“But then, if you’re hot, it’s just as bad, in a different way, because they’ll be talking about how they want to f*** you.”
The girls discussed coping techniques. Bad news: none of them worked.
“The only way you can stop them is if you become ‘one of the boys’ and hang out with them. But then,” the second girl said with a sigh, “all the other girls call you a slut. Because you’ve gone over to the boys’ side.”
“Surely it’s not all the boys?” I said. “There must be some nice boys?”
“Oh, yeah,” one girl said. “But they keep their heads down. Because… well, look.”
She showed me the Instagram account of her friend. Under every picture she posted of herself — smiling in a new dress; with her dog — dozens of anonymous accounts had replied with the most rank abuse.
“Fat.” “Slut.” “You gonna try and kill yourself again, for attention?”
“They’re all boys from her school,” she said. “And look, this one boy tried to defend her.”
I saw a series of messages from a brave teenage boy, posting things like, “You’re all big men, leaving these replies under anonymous accounts.”
As I could see, this boy immediately became a target too. Mainly accusations that he was “white knighting” this girl: “You wanna f*** her, bro?”
“So,” I asked, “you don’t think it’s social media pressure to be beautiful, or the economy, that’s making girls so sad?”
“Well, yeah, them too,” the first girl said. “But, Monday-Friday, 9-3, I’m not on social media. I’m not… in the economy. I’m just with these boys. And no one talks about how horrible they are.”
I thought about another recent report, showing a 30 per cent ideological gap between Gen Z men, who are increasingly conservative, and Gen Z women, who are increasingly progressive.
I thought about Andrew Tate, who has nine million mostly young male followers — and faces human trafficking charges, which he denies.
And I thought: maybe these girls are on to something. Maybe more people need to vape with teenage girls and ask them for the school gossip."

So I've been trying to understand the takes in this post more, because it's always better to try and understand what the other side is saying before forming an opinion and yadda yadda, and the hot takes I've seen in this post as of now are:
Oh noes alphabet soup bad, labels bad, let's all say faggot or queer instead;
People who dislike slurs aren't allowed to do so because... ?
Super young people with no trauma dictating to older people what they should do.
Well... These are interestingly out of touch takes.
Posting faggot and queer like 2am gunshots to keep property values on my blog low and scare away assimilationist LGBTs who want to replace my empty lot full of native wildflowers with a 5-over-1 because they're too traumatized by their upbringing to accept the reality of our diverse marginalized community

one thing about us is. #colonialism
#thinking about our history with gangs & rap. obvs the rap part is obvs. but the gangs. ik it's obvious like. systemic oppression & poverty.#but did we just Do It did it Just Happen. did it start as a syndicate thing. or revolutionary causes gone astray. ik it's probs obvs#did our gangs rise alongside black gangs. ik the roots of both these r complicated but like. as a huge Cultural thing. in the 1920s.#1 thing that made a mark on me is how our gay men talked and how it's - apparently - connected to the history of how black gay people#talked. how they derived it from black women in the 1910-30s(?) idk i forgot it's been a long time i forgot where i picked that information#up from. but wow. and we mirrored that somehow. but when and how did that happen exactly#we were still under american rule until 1946#i think it was a fil-am internet personality who appropriated black speech nd culture. & comparing the speech patterns of black queer men#to our fil gay men it's like. yeah there are SOME similarities but i think it's still not easy to confuse the two styles of speeches#besides the obvious language difference#but idk maybe it's a subject of stereotypes. fils r definitely one for queer stereotyping but to infuse that w/the fact that we r not very#knowledgeable about how exactly queerness actually is. we're still stuck on that bakla and tomboy thing even now & the western knowledge is#very much not an accessible digestible information for lots of people except the youth#idkkkkk it's confusing this is all over the place but i'm so curious#and i definitely understand the stance of some who r like. hey not everything is about america#but i can't tell if it's just the big filipino ego flaring or if it's actually true. but i mean we were colonized for a long ass time#& when they talk about america they may only b talking about. white colonizers. which is not what that's about.#crazy how we haven't even reached 150 yrs in celebrating the day the first colonizer peaced out#and the oldest gay known icon i've found is from the '80s. no prominence given to the queer people from 1800s or early 1900s and#how they were like#but our pre-colonial era...punchign the wall. BRING IT BACK teach these things in school PLWEASE#but idk my research is shallow i'll dig deeper someday when i'm not busy (<- interrupted their own studying session to ramble knowing they#have a shit ton of things to study for finals tomorrow morning)#if anybody found this pls link me to some studies/articles or give me any info i'm crying over this rn and how stupd i am <3#rambles

"No one would let a woman that young make that choice on her own" = HE LITERALLY SEES HER AS A CHILD
And he's arguing for having children. Okay. But then he immediately pivots to just wanting to fuck her.
Creep. Creep creep creep.
Women in their 40s can still have children.
