BioWare just posted some player stats in their discord. Two jumped out to me

I really thought the Mourn Watch would be more popular! Grey Wardens being at the top isn't a surprise, but Shadow Dragons matching that is interesting. Also thought that the Veil Jumpers would be near the top cause of the game antagonists

This makes me so sad. Only 6% of players made a dwarf? There's so much good dwarf content in this game. (Make a secondary Rook as a dwarf!) The fact that there are more qunari than dwarves is nuts, too

I love these types of stats. BioWare promises to release more later on, too!

As with all my current worldstate characters, they're all previous OCs from other creations of mine (usually comics) so building them off of art I've drawn is always an experience.

There're of a couple of face bones I'd like to tweak to go rounder, but otherwise, I love love LOVE how solid I was able to make them LOOKIT MY BEB

After much agonizing & working out MY crushes vs Ronan's type, I think we're going with Bellara, which should be fun ^__^ Elaine will be wistfully crushing on Taash, but Ronan fits the best with Bellara. (Neve is too perfect for either of us, we're batting WAYYY outta our league with her, and Harding is dating Josie in the head canon of my worldstate XD)

listen I know it's heartbreaking that Claudia dies and it's understandable to wish she didn't, but let's please not accuse the writers of fridging her. to do so is a fundamental misunderstanding of the story and is frankly insulting to the intelligence and skill of the writers of the show.

Claudia's death, and the overwhelming grief and regret her parents experience because of it, is quite literally the point of the entire story. she dies because Anne's daughter Michele died of leukemia when she was five years old and there was nothing she or her husband could do to prevent it.

writing IWTV was how Anne coped with the unimaginable loss of a parent losing her child. she created a story about a little girl that could not die and then killed her anyway. Claudia's death is a senseless, unavoidable tragedy, just like Michele's was. the grief that haunts Louis and Lestat for the rest of their lives is the same grief that haunted Anne and her husband.

so when you're accusing people of killing Claudia off to benefit a story about two men, please remember that in real life sometimes parents lose their children. please remember Michele Rice.

she's the reason Claudia exists.

she's also the reason Claudia cannot be saved.

I Saw the TV Glow is such a uniquely, devastatingly queer story. Two queer kids trapped in suburbia. Both of them sensing something isn’t quite right with their lives. Both of them knowing that wrongness could kill them. One of them getting out, trying on new names, new places, new ways of being. Trying to claw her way to fully understanding herself, trying to grasp the true reality of her existence. Succeeding. Going back to help the other, to try so desperately to rescue an old friend, to show the path forward. Being called crazy. Because, to someone who hasn’t gotten out, even trying seems crazy. Feels crazy. Looks, on the surface, like dying.

And to have that other queer kid be so terrified of the internal revolution that is accepting himself that he inadvertently stays buried. Stays in a situation that will suffocate him. Choke the life out of him. Choke the joy out of him. Have him so terrified of possibly being crazy that he, instead, lives with a repression so extreme, it quite literally is killing him. And still, still, he apologizes for it. Apologizes over and over and over, to people who don’t see him. Who never have. Who never will. Because it’s better than being crazy. Because it’s safer than digging his way out. Killing the image everyone sees to rise again as something free and true and authentic. My god. My god, this movie. It shattered me.
