my opinion about the watcher news basically boils down to this:

watcher is screwing over a huge portion of its fanbase with this move considering how many people within it are teenagers who may not have access to streaming services, low-income adults who can't afford yet another streaming service (if any), and international fans who couldn't sign up for a US based streaming service even if they wanted to. it's okay to be angry about this, especially if you're one of those people who now can't support shows you loved or will be unable to see any of those shows going forward because of it.

and

youtube's payout to creators has dwindled in recent years to the point that it is impossible to fund the kind of productions watcher makes purely through it, and in order to sustain a company of 40+ people they need a more stable source of income not reliant on ads from outside companies and patreon, which, in this case, means a pivot to streaming. it's okay to be upset that creators you like have to turn to such methods to continue funding their work, whether you have the means to support them through these avenues or not.

if the early reactions to this move are any indication, watcher will probably not get the fan buy-in they anticipated and in all likelihood the new streaming site will either fail within a year or two because it isn't making enough money and take the company with it or they'll be bought out by a larger company and have their shows archived or deleted for tax purposes like what's happened to roosterteeth. it is okay to be scared by that potential future and seek to preserve as much content as you can before that happens.

darker parts of cheek markings are along the edge of her eye sockets, and the lighter parts run down her cheeks to her jawline

has an Adam's apple in "inverse choker" (ring of pale skin around neck)

purple "bodysuit" is actually artificial skin, so it's flush with her pale skin (e.g. her "inverse choker")

despite ostensibly being the same material, has a dull metallic sheen to it

has artificial chromatophores in her skin, so she can change it to different colors (e.g. red when armored)

divots on arm resemble speakers - concave, with a raised convex section in the center

line down center of arm is like cheek markings (shallow indent)

abdomen has discrete panels that open to reveal ports used to power wired weapons

He'd spent much more of his time hanging around the sideline awkwardly, seeing as he was quite out of place in such a setting. A ballroom was not monster hunting grounds, and he was nowhere near even being a noble-- let alone any ranking close to one. Yet despite the inherent fear of somehow making a fool of himself, he went around to see more of the room. Away from the main group he came with and somehow- was now talking to Robin in the sea of the people

"Yea I... suppose I can understand that much," he answers, adjusting his collar in hopes of feeling even slightly more comfortable in his suit.

With the occasion, of course came the fancy clothing- and despite his regular clothing probably being considered that, he got a suit tailored just for this event. A shame, really. He was in the mood for a cute sparkly dress- but now that he's seen the dresses of the other women and such with their layers... maybe the feeling of white silk on his skin is bearable. Chainmail and armor layers were quite different to the layers of fabric after all. Compared to the many other walks of life and fashion here, his group may look like an oddball gathering of people. There was at least him and Odessa who were scar ridden hunters under their fancy clothes, probably a few knights and of course the royals
