I really do love the fresh take on the dead wife aspect in scavengers reign like. She didn't die in some terrible accident or at the hands of an evil third party, she died because of you. Because of your ambition and carelessness and because you didn't prioritize her enough to even look for her as the ship was going down. You will carry this guilt for the rest of your life. I think a lot about Leo standing up for his brothers in the things that really matter to them.

Like- Leo is the one who immediately pushes Mikey and Donnie into finding Raph the second it’s clear that their oldest brother is missing because he knows Raph can’t handle being separated like that.

Leo is the one who stands up for Mikey when Mikey wants to go on a solo mission, actively vouching for him and being the one to convince Raph into letting Mikey go, because being independent and proving himself just as capable of standing on his own two feet as everyone else means so much to Mikey.

And Leo defends Donnie’s honor in particular when his brothers’ intelligence is insulted because Leo is well aware of how important Donnie’s smarts are to him - and how important having those smarts valued and acknowledged is as well.

All this goes right into just how well Leo knows his brothers. For as much as he’ll tease or fight with them, he knows them, and he loves them.

POV: It's June 6th

im pretty sure enjolras and grantaire were confused about how June 6th went down too (I mean suddenly they are ok again LMAO)

I'm definitely biased towards the subtle anger in his face, that even while just offended at Optimus receiving the Matrix, that he feels he's been cheated out of the opportunity to do more with his life now that he's been given a choice. His much blockier, and imposing build after denouncing the Primes and taking Megatronus' t-cog in contrast to the gentle smoothened out design of Optimus. The way he feels betrayed and never does his anger fade at Optimus' saddened expression. The way Optimus keeps that soft yet grief-stricken expression of "Why?" while staring him down. The way Optimus' axe was about to collide with his head but you can see he purposefully veers it down after cutting down the cannon in half. How he doesn't want to hurt Megatron but disarms him from hurting anyone again because he still tries to make him see that violence isn't the way for them. Or at least, what could have been of them. It's heartwrenching to say the least.
