At the dilapidated excuse for an intersection ten minutes out from his house, there’s a worn-through spot near the base of the tree. All the grass has been rubbed out by the roots, and they figured to stop trying to reform a good ten years ago. Jiyul’s there now, reminding that dirt why it was a good decision to give up with its trying. Back sloped against the tree and this gives him enough leverage to worry his heels down into the ground. His nice shoes now have a layer of grime stuck to them, but that doesn’t matter because they’ll all stow them away inside the venue anyway, trade them out for nondescript gray slippers. Jiyul shoves his shoe down deeper, proving a point to nobody but himself. Maybe not even himself. 

If Jeonghun hadn’t messaged him, then Jiyul might’ve skipped out on the funeral altogether. Left more people to badmouth him. At this point, it’s hard for him to  really care when he adds one more incident to the pile, or that’s what it feels like. But Jiyul’s willing to do a lot of things for Jeonghun in the same way he was willing to do things for Jeongbin. It happened like that through no real charm of his own, but because Jeonghun was the strongest link to Jeongbin he had left. Like so many people do, he half-pretended that twins could replace each other. 

It’s been long enough that by now he knows Jeonghun can't, but the comfort of it is still there. Like a part of Jeongbin might be wedged into Jeonghun’s skin, and if he only learns how to peel back all the layers properly he’ll be able to find him. Right  after his death Jiyul used to get a little angry that they weren’t identical. That Jeonghun was ruining his game of pretend; selfish in the sort of way that teenagers are best at. By now and he’s glad they look different enough. He’d probably just get pissed off watching Jeongbin’s face do all these things that he wouldn’t have.

“You’re late.” He doesn’t know if Jeonghun’s actually late, because he’s not wearing a watch and his phone’s stuffed deep into the pocket of his slacks. But when he’s in a bad mood he often enjoys sharing it. He sounds more begrudging than angry though, and even when Jeonghun stops himself in front of him Jiyul doesn’t separate his back from the tree. Stays stuck-still like he might’ve fused with it. “You sure your family doesn’t want to take you along?” It’s just that if they do, Jiyul can shed the layers of a suit he only ever brings out for funerals and pretend like he might go tomorrow. Jeonghun’s face doesn’t seem like it’s willing to buy into it. “Fine.” He pulls himself away from the tree and doesn’t bother to check if the bark has bitten into the back of his jacket.

it is said that the devil is a wretched looking thing. it is an amalgamation of hideous beasts paired with cloven hooves and a snaking tail. if you are unfortunate enough, the devil will come to you in the dark of night for the sale of your soul. it will hand you a knife and instruct you to sign in blood, and it will smack its lips at the sight of it.

park jeongho thinks he saw the devil. he’d caught a glimpse of its horns on the beach, heard the clop of its hooves on the wooden floor of his study. there is an urban legend around these parts, how park jeonghui had met with the devil like a friend, had freely received its blade and cut himself on it. for his bravery and camaraderie, he’d been rewarded generously, had received enough wealth to last him for generations to come. though park jeongho shares his name and his blood—first son of the first son—disappointingly, he doesn’t know if he can stomach the sight of it.

but what of park jeonghun?

second son of the second son. the night he first saw the devil, he had searched jeonghun’s eyes and came up empty. he had called out to him in the dark of night but the latter had meandered off, deaf to his intercession. jeonghun looks fine now. they’re sitting in silence, the park heir watching his cousin from the corner of his eyes as the latter shovels food into his bowl. he gives no indication of having met the devil, no darting eyes and beaded sweat that jeongho had suffered the night prior. still. jeonghun may not be the heir, but he is still a park. he still has jeonghui’s blood.

“where did you head off to? the night before.” he starts off casual, busies himself with peeling meat off the bone and he takes a bite. jeongho glances at him briefly then away to the dishes before them. he scoops another piece into his bowl as he swallows his mouthful. “i saw you walking out in the middle of the night.”

Reveries of the Moonlight: drugs and vampires

Not really an opinion but I really want to show you guys about Reveries of moonlight since I think it’s worth reading

Alternative title: Phantasmal tale under the moonlight

“After losing everything to the Vampires, Segun meets the Vampire hunter Silvester to become a hunter for himself. "Welcome to the world of the psychedelic moon.”

The manhwa itself promises an interesting vampire story, it was adapted by a Korean light novel called Wolyahwandam Chaewolya (월야환담 채월야) written by Hong Jeonghun meanwhile the manhwa was illustrated by Ko Jin Ho

If you want a crazy protagonist, then this manhwa is perfect for you.

His name is Segun Han (AKA junkie hunter) in my view, he’s cold and not very kind, he would do anything to complete his goal (eradicate the vampires! spoiler: then later another race lol)

Aside of crazy vampire, how about a mysterious mentor (or to say, older hunter?)

His name is Silvestre, AKA Jinma slayer (tear seeker as well!) do not try to guess his age by his appearance, he’s way older than you might think.

Vampires are much stronger than humans. For hunters to fight them, they use vampiric blood, also AKA physcedelic moon (well uh, what they do is injecting that to them, it’s like a type of drug I would say) once you inject it, your wounds will be able to regenerate and such (probably enhanced movements and more things as well… I forgot)

CONGRATS! YOU GOT … TOB!

Time Of Bloom, mostly known under the acronym TOB [to-be], was a fictional south korean boy group debuted in early 2016 and disbanded in late 2017 under shell company Songflower Music, with the Top13 finalist of the fictional reality show Spring Teens, an attempt to compete with the rising Produce series and I.O.I. LINEUP (13): Irrelevant. Proved to be extremely manipulated. HITS INCLUDE: Fly (2016). Hard Carry (2016). Really Really (2017). Spring Day (2017). CONCEPT: None. NOTORIOUS MEMBERS: Hype, Hosung, Yoo Geon, *Jeonghun.

Oh boy… TOB. The biggest shitshow the Gioverse has ever seen. The group that makes LOOPiN look like a bunch of hippies.

Right out of the gate, hey, it’s Idolmaker’s Kim Hosung! Also known as my most tragic character to date, and everything involving them is obligatory living in my mind rent free. They were one of the many, many people rigged to make it into the final 13, which was completely chosen by executives before the show even started – Spring Teens was pretty much a test conducted by many companies on just how much manipulation they could get away with. Spoiler alert: a lot, but not all of it. TOB only managed to operate for a year and some weeks because a newspaper was threatening to start an investigation on their shady voting numbers, and not even a powerhouse like MBN - whom has TIES WITH THE GOVERMENT! - could contain it any longer.

Their shit is extremely dense and complicated to explain (13 people rigged in with their own personal agendas like, woah), but the most relevant of all: final guy Yoo Geon got very close with not final guy Jeonghun backstage, and as soon as he learned about all of Jeonghun’s trials and tribulations and catastrophic stakes if he didn’t make it as an Idol immediatly, this man crumbled in guilt (to put things into perspective he was a dozen even worse than J.J, fully disinterested in music and only there to quickstart his acting career) and told Jeonghun everything about the set final members, mind you, ON THE SPRING TEENS FINALE SET, RIGHT AS THE CAMERAS WERE ABOUT TO ROLL! Jeonghun, already a pile of nerves from the whole situation, didn’t take that well at all, obviously – he tried to fist fight an executive about it and got scouted out of the studio by security, causing enough of a commotion to get the live finale postponed by two weeks. It was horrible. 

As you might already know if you were around to catch Idolmaker!!! Hosung – before he was forced by his INSANE, ACTUALLY PSYCHOPATHIC older brother and manager Hojin to enlist in the military – tracked Jeonghun down and convinced him to sign with Furta Media/MBN and join IDMK’s third generation with him, as he was given enough power to handpick any trainees he wanted for that unit (at a big, big cost, Hosung nooooooo). That could be seen as a hard decision for someone to make, with the whole ‘if you can’t fight them, will you really go down low enough and join them?’, but not to Jeonghun: he was all about being rigged to make it now that he knew from experience that that’s how the game was played. He and Hosung went on to become best friends on the long run, actually inseparable, making ⅔’s of IDMK’s ‘blood pack siblings’, a.k.a SungBinHun (Hosung, Dabin and Jeonghun).

Which – unrelated now but in a couple lines you will see why – brings us to Hype, which my god, does this guy fucking SUCKS at a Kwon Dongwook level. But as I said on my talk blog quite a lot before, I still feel like I’m not done at all with IDMK, specially SungBinHun, and Parit is unfortunately a key person to get a lot of insight into my forever girl Dabin. But what you must know is: he’s a big actor now at a worldwide level (not exclusively BLs but a lot of BLs, which given his raging homophobia is kind of like, morbidly hilarious), he’s to this day pissed he couldn’t impregnate the biggest fansign he ever had because she’s a lesbian, he still thinks that Hosung ‘stole her’ from him when they only showed her who her Idol truly was (A MAJOR ASSHOLE!!!!), and that girl, my good folks, is Dabin.

He enabled her daughter's violent and manipulative tendencies, even teaching her some of it himself, albeit whether it's voluntary or not is debatable. Going into theories territory because we don't know what is true and what is not, he might also have a son whom he pretended was dead for years and kept him confined into the house, but that guy might also not be his son and be free to leave and choose not to, so don't take my word for it.

the wind whips against the makeshift comfort of the trunk of jeonghun's car, propped up like some kind of metal canopy. they've parked it back against the sands at the apex of the beach, the tides rising high over the usually expansive (if rocky and often muddy) sands. lijae's got a bottle in one hand, the familiar smoothness nestled against her palm, and a blue tooth speaker plays from somewhere on the ground beside them, cooler opened next to the beach towels laid out in front of them. she's got her shoes kicked off to the side, toes brushing the rough terrycloth fabric, scooting to the side to nudge jeonghun's leg lightly for no reason than to remind herself of the tenuous connection of his presence.

they hadn't been that close, as kids, just as she hadn't been that close with near anyone. story of her life, right? ostracization started young and she'd been an easy target in more ways than the obvious. wouldn't have made sense for a park to give her the time of day. frankly, it still didn't really, if she's honest. it's mostly jiyul that pulled things together, the way he always has for her, like a tenuous life line to a world that doesn't have room for her - barely has room for him, if she's honest. the pair of them like mismatched socks in the back of the drawer- present but not part of things. jeonghun might be the crazy twin, the surviving twin, but he still had more going for him than either of them did. she might have felt guilty for dragging him down by association if she was a better person. but she wasn't, so she didn't. instead, there was the ambiguous comfort of his presence which she feared to be all too fleeting, sure he'd take flight, uproot and pull jiyul along with him, maybe, and leave her there in the dust. it was a thought that turned her stomach if she let it linger, so she bit the side of her tongue bloody to chase it away, chased the taste of copperironacid with the soju - juice mix they'd concocted from the 1+1 sale options at the mart. "it's fucking cold out today," she notes helpfully, watching the waves roil in the distance, beaten to foaming white peaks against the rocks. "you got any blankets in here?" she twists her head, craning to look in the backseat before she turns back again. "any news from the grand park estate these days? can we move in yet?" an old joke, in poor taste perhaps, but she can't stand the silences the way the other two can. she isn't at peace enough in her own head for it, doesn't want to be left alone with the echoes of her own thoughts, takes another swig to ward off what might follow. the waves crash against the shore in a comforting rhythm, but the quiet itches under her skin anyway. she bites the edge of her thumb, already raw. "don't suppose you've let up on the pill thing huh?" she's antsy, today, the anxiety spiking up her spine, racing like adrenaline in her. molars dig into her cheek, toes curling-clenching-releasing in a rhythm, stimulus to try to offset the twitch in the center of her chest.

Omega X "Successful in Provisional Disposition Suspension of Exclusive Contract"

Group Omega X (Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, XEN, Jehyeon, KEVIN, Jeonghun, Hyuk, Yechan) won a lawsuit for injunction to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract.

On the 11th, Omega X announced, "Today, we won a lawsuit against the agency for a provisional injunction to suspend the exclusive contract."

He continued, "We were able to achieve this thanks to all of you who gave us courage and reached out your hand. Thank you for worrying and supporting us all this time. We will repay you with better music and a better image in the future."

Previously, Omega X filed a lawsuit against the agency Spire Entertainment for a provisional injunction to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract. Omega X sparked controversy in October of last year when they were accused of being verbally abused and assaulted by the agency's representative during their world tour.

Later, the management company explained that the misunderstanding had been resolved, but after returning to Korea, Omega X held a press conference in November and caused a stir by exposing the agency's CEO's sexual harassment and unfair abuse of power. In this regard, he filed a lawsuit against the agency for a provisional disposition to suspend the validity of the exclusive contract and was ruled in favor.

Omega X, which debuted in June 2021, attracted attention as all members were from audition programs or members who had been active in existing groups.
