a few weeks back i suddenly had a lil kick and remembered I haven't tried making something for Madness Day or really done Madness stuff for a long time even though i still love these violent jellybeans dearly and figured I could redo a concept I did for the last Madness Day i did something for back in 2021.

so naturally i left it until last night to actually do most of the drawing. Jeb, Hank and Tricky have all died a stupid amount of times.

i just can't get over how edwin secured the best possible outcome for exerting magic on that cat. he has a gorgeous trickster wrapped around his dainty little finger so badly, the punishment was waltzing through the town, pointing at kitties and going "!" while wearing a fancy golden bracelet? yeah yeah he cannot leave at an unfortunate time, but the boy's been to hell and back and frankly, more dangerous things are waiting for the squad behind the corner. it all appears so lovingly tame in comparison. there are not that many cats around; they travel in perfectly countable twos and threes, practically getting in his way. not to mention the darling boy could have just– get it on and over with from the start. and the offer is still on the table if i understood the vibes?? my takeaway is that you may die repressed but gay thoughts will always catch you and it's all going to be okay

i love it when a tv show has lows that are so low you're so ashamed to ever show it to anyone ever but then highs that melt your brain a bit, like, "good fucking god, this is genuinely such an astounding piece of craftmanship... my perception of the medium, and perhaps of myself, has been challenged/changed in 40 minutes" but you cant even express that to ppl without feeling like youre fucking deranged bc my god the lows .....

Thinking so hard about Logan's faith

He really is a man that has lost everything. EVERYTHING. In every timeline, in every universe. So much loss and betrayal and pain.

This "worst" wolverine has absolutely nothing. No friends, no family, no xmen.

And yet he doesn't think life is unfair. TO HIM. He thinks life has been unfair to all the good and innocent people around him, but not to him. Because unlike him, those people deserved a good, long life that he's been cursed with.

And yet he's not a hopeless man, not really. Because after losing everything, it just takes Deadpool and Laura (two people he didn't previously know!!) to remind him that goodness exists. That purpose is something that he can still have, if he wants it.

And Logan believes. He believes so hard in them because, deep down, something in him knows that humanity is not only worth fighting for, but also that he wants to fight for it.

Deep down, despite everything, he wants be good (which he is, he just doesn't see it)
