RWBY Ship Headcannons #67: Pollination (No En*bler) Kids Edition!

First, a quick run-down of all the kids and their names, in age order!

Honey (Blake x Yang)

Maraschino and Tango (Blake x Ruby)

Rosenwyn (Weiss x Ruby)

Eirwen (Weiss x Yang)

Aspen, Storm and Frost (Blake x Weiss)

And now onto the headcannons!

In general, all the kids love their Uncle Qrow. Qrow is a very present role model in their lives, especially the younger kids after Blake steps out of the Huntsman game and decides to stay home with Eirwen and the Monochrome triplets.

Honey knows the least of Qrow. He doesn't have a lot of bond with him to say the very least. Honey always wanted to go with his mamas on missions and would SCREAM the place down if he was left without even one of them for five minutes. But as he gets older, Honey just isn't interested in the majority of his family. He has friends at school and annoying little siblings, that's enough for an introvert like him.

Maraschino and Tango are always joined at the hip! They got the heft of babysitting with Qrow, since he was quick enough to catch them while they had kitty-cat zoomies. Tango is the gentler one and would grab Qrow around the ankle to drag him back. And Maraschino likes to grab sticks and whack them against anything she can find. Failing this, Mara just...gnaws at her great-uncle's hands. As the girls get bigger, Tango stays clingy and Maraschino stays feral, so whenever Qrow sees them, he ends up with a new 'BEST FUNCLE' bracelet in those clunky little beads, courtesy of Tango making them and Mara wrecking them.

Rosenwyn is and always has been a stuffy little sweetheart. She prefers being on her own well into her preteens. She has a little flip-phone because she keeps wandering off without her moms and getting lost in the process. Qrow's had to find her more than a few times, but she always insists she's fine walking on her own so he just tails her in bird form to keep an eye out. She considers him the most fashionable of her relatives (spare Mama Weiss) so if she goes into stores to look at pretty clothes, she'll ask Bird Qrow for his opinions through the store windows.

Eirwen is the kid who openly prefers Tai over Qrow, but will still go to Qrow when he's very upset. He will latch onto anyone he can find for a hug and Qrow already gives very good hugs, so it’s a natural decision to his tiny kid brain.

The Monochrome twins ADORE their great-uncle Qrow. They’re still babies so they love most everyone but Qrow is their favourite babysitter and person to see, whether they go to him or he visits them. Aspen is his favourite. Though he’ll never tell Storm and Frost that.

En Hasie, die onnutsige ding, het nooit die rawe se neste opgepas nie. Hy wip sommer daar weg, op soek na verdere avonture.

Toe kry hy 'n seuntjie wat skape oppas. ,,Middag, Skaapwagtertjie," groet hy weer vrien- delik.,,Gaan dit goed met jou?"

,,Ja, dankie, Hasie," antwoord die seun.,,Bring jy goeie nuus?"

Nuus?" vra Hasie.,,Al te seker. Gaan kyk 'n bietjie in daardie klompie bome: daar sal jy pragtige raafneste kry. As jy net in die bome klim, sal jy hulle maklik bykom. Ek sal intussen na jou skape kyk."

,,Baie baie dankie," roep die seun opge- uit.,,Ek wil juis so graag 'n raafnes besit."

Sonder meer gooi die seun sy herderstaf na Hasie en hardloop so gou soos hy kan in die rigting van die bome. En wil jy glo, hy het netsy rug gedraai en daar wip-wip Hasie weg, op soek na verdere avontuur.

Met vinnige hale spring hy oor die mooi, groen gras. Toe gaan sit hy op sy hurke en bespied die wêreld. Daar op 'n afstand sien hy 'n donker skaduwee al nader kom. Naderhand sien Hasie dat dit broer Wolf is. Maar Wolf gewaar hom nie dadelik nie en Hasie kug so saggies, om sy aandag te trek.

,,A! my ou vriend," begin Hasie.,,Lekker dag, nè?"

,,Lekker dag, jou voet!" brom Wolf baie nors. ,,Hoe kan ek 'n lekker dag geniet as daar niks te ete is nie? Dis miskien 'n goeie plan om jou sommer op te vreet."

Hasie se hare het van pure skrik orent gekom, en sy baard het sommer slap gehang.

,,Wat sêêêêê... Oom?" vra hy bangerig. Wolf sluip al nader, met 'n nare honger-uitdrukking in sy oë.

,,Ek het gesê dat ek jou sommer sal opvreet!"

,,0...0, O," piep Hasie. Ek dink nie dis 'n goeie plan nie. Kyk, Wolfie-lief, ek is net vel en been. Ek het lanklaas geëet."

„Ek ook. En as ek niks vetter kan kry nie, sal ek maar by jou begin."

Nie so haastig nie, Wolfie, nie so haastig nie. Ek kan jou sê waar lekker, vet is. Sommer 'n hele trop. Heerlike, sappige skaapvleis! Kyk, daar wei hulle op die veld wagter om na hulle te kyk!" sonder 'n skaap

Wolf kyk waar Hasie wys en toe hy die skape sien, lek hy sy lippe af. Jy's darem 'n gawe kêrel, Hasie! Tot siens! Ek hoop jy kry ook iets om te eet." Hy sluip gou daar weg en in 'n kits is hy tussen die skape, wat blêrend in alle rigtings hardloop.

Hasie slaak 'n sug van verligting dat hy so gou van Wolf ontslae geraak het. Hy lag tog al te lekker en wip-wip is hy daar weg, op soek na nuwe avonture.

Hierna het Hasie maar stadig gevorder, want hy wou ook sy honger stil. Hier pluk hy 'n groen grassie af, daar 'n sappige blaartjie. Maar hy kon niks verder vind om te doen nie. Wei-wei kom hy naderhand bo-op 'n berg. Daar gaan sit hy op sy hurke, om die wêreld te bekyk.

En watter vreeslike toneel het hy voor sy oë gesien!

Eers het hy so effentjies gegiggel, met sy pootjie voor sy mond. Toe haal hy sy pootjie weg en giggel hardop, met sy mond wawyd oop

En wil jy glo, toe sit hy op sy hurke en skater soos hy lag. Sy lyfie ruk so van die lag dat sy ore flap-flap om sy gesig. Later rol hy soos hy lag sy vier pootjies in die lug. Hy het so baie gelag dat die trane eintlik gestroom en die grassies natgemaak het.

En waarom het die onnutsige ding so baie gelag? Van bo-op die berg kon hy duidelik al die kattekwaad sien wat hy aangerig het. Dit was vir hom al te snaaks.

Hy sien hoedat die tier dood onder die krans lê en hoe die arme boer sukkel om daar te kom, en hoe die takke van die bome sy klere skeur. Hy sien hoedat die perde weghol omdat niemand na hulle kyk nie; hy sien hoedat die rawe se neste besteel word terwyl die rawe agter die perde aanvlieg; en hy hoor hoedat die skape jammerlik bler omdat Wolf onder hulle is, terwyl die wagter voëlneste soek.

RWBY Ship Headcannons #63: Pollination (No En*bler)/JNPR Berries/CFVY Shop

Straight out of Beacon, CFVY are all married. They are majorly down from their third year, but Velvet has to be the sensible one and say they should at least wait to graduate. So they do, and Velvet is married to the three most beautiful people she knows very soon afterwards. As a certified lesbian, Coco’s marriage to Fox and Yatsu is platonic, but she, Fox and Yatsu were all dating Velvet and Fox and Yatsu were dating, so they just decided to all get married to make it all simpler.

Their marriage is a bomb party. Sure, the small infestation of Ravagers slightly interrupts the ceremony, but Coco’s always prepared. Five minutes and a couple of rounds later, she’s giving her vows too.

For the first couple years they don’t think about having kids. Too busy, too many missions, etc. But when they get into their mid to late twenties, Coco and Velvet have the first baby of the bunch. One more baby follows (Fox and Velvet’s) and suddenly they’re looking for a place to settle down to raise these scamps.

As for JNPR, they are so desperately in love with each other that Nora has the bright idea of marrying right there at graduation, but the other three have to tell her to hold her horses and they’ll settle on a date someday. That stretches out until they never actually get married, just in an endless loop of dating that none of them have tried proposing in. They call each other husbands and wives though, it’s really sweet.

Jaune and Pyrrha take the most missions once they get a place in Mistral. Ren and Nora get on a project rebuilding Kuroyuri, and once that’s done by the time they’re 29, Pyrrha has an announcement: she’s pregnant.

No one is sure who’s baby it is. She’s got Pyrrha’s big green eyes but they look more like Ren’s in shape. Her hair’s all short and tufty like Jaune and Nora but it’s bright strawberry pink. Most curiously, she has a streak of blonde down the left of her hair. It doesn’t matter who’s baby she is though; they all love her and they love each other and Nora takes her on missions despite Jaune’s constant panic attacks.

Pollination is where things really get crowded. It’s Yang’s idea to have a wedding but Weiss and Blake organize it after it becomes increasingly apparent Ruby and Yang don’t know how to plan a wedding. They all wed on Menagerie with Ghira as the officiator.

Sun is Blake’s best man, Penny is the flower girl, Neo makes a guest appearance as Ruby’s maid of honour, and Oscar is ring bearer. There’s a lot of happy tears and speeches from their friends and family from all around Remnant, and it’s generally just an amazing weekend for everyone who’s present.

They have a lot of kids. Like A LOT. Blake and Yang are first, they have a baby cat boy. Ruby and Blake have a pair of baby girls with cute little kitty ears, and Weiss and Ruby have a daughter the following year. Then there’s Weiss and Yang’s sunshine son, and Blake and Weiss are last and they have a set of triplets that are curiously winter cats. The chaos in the house follows close after the twins arrive, and it escalated from there.

It’s a very big and loud and happy family, especially when Tai and Qrow come to visit. Qrow and Blake get along famously, and Tai loves having another two daughters and all these grandkids to play with (he’s a big ol teddy bear). The Monochrome triplets also love their great uncle Qrow and curl up in his lap as babies.
