Disaster is terrifying as Hell

I was bored so I looked through the wiki until I stumbled upon the Wiki for Disaster and as a person who adores the Fairy Clan to bits I know Disaster like the back of my hand but I like looking through it anyway and then... I realized something.

I realized just how lucky everyone is that the Fairies and The Fairy Kings specifically are not that battle driven, they just mind their own business for the most part and if trouble arises within the forest, The Fairy King is there to protect them.

I mean, look back at what Helbram did when he went crazy. Buddy, that's just Helbram, he's just a motivated fairy, he's not even a royal by any means. Imagine King popping off like that, it will be over for everyone.

Disaster, is the power of the Fairy Kings and as Merlin stated it is the power to control life and death itself. It's freaking terrifying, and it's definitely up there in terms of most dangerous and powerful magic in all of NNT/4KOTA and I do believe that the Spirit Spears are a close second to Excalibur when it comes to Weaponry.

King is absolutely nuts because of Chastiefol and Chastiefol is freaking insane because of Disaster and Disaster is a very fitting name because of how terrifying it is.

I just gotta put the screencap so that its clear. This power is insane. King can do a whole bunch of crazy stuff with it he just chooses not to. Honestly, King can cut someone's arm off, behead them, bisect them if they just had a tiny scratch on them. He can do all kinds of unimaginable things but King is not that type of person so he dosen't but that dosen't erase the fact that he could do it within a blink of an eye.

Lemme add... The Demon King have the Ten Commandments, The Supreme Diety made the Four Graces given to the Four Archangels.

Then we have the Sacred Tree giving Disaster to one singular being per iteration and its not like something to be passed around cause all three Fairy Kings can use it even if they're existing in the same space plus they each receive their own Spirit Spears

Demon

Another take on the traditional (?) demon tail! The heart on the end protects the demon's retractable, venomous (or just very pointy) barb.

Tails, venomous and nonvenomous, are used for balance, especially while the demon is maneuvering in mid-air. whether they are jumping or flying. flight. They're deceptively strong even though their mechanisms seem delicate and the fluff covering them doesn't appear as tough as the rest of the demon's skin. A younger demon’s tail reaches full size before they reach their adult height. Coloration depends on the demon’s primary colors, including features like hair, eyes, teeth, skin, and tongue.

Tail venom develops during late adolescence- an evolutionary process that serves two purposes. One, that the baby and toddler cannot injure its parents, itself, or its other potential packmates with a potent and uncontrolled poison. Second, that the toxin may adapt to whatever might suit the demon best as it grows. Environmental conditions are thought to play a direct role. High-level demon venom has no ‘antidote’ because it, structurally, is one-of-a-kind; antivenom would require an (albeit slightly) different formula even between identical twins. There are three official categories this venom can fall into: defensive, offensive, and constructive. Some demons will inject their venom into themselves or other demons on a circumstantial basis to help, not harm! A few toxins specifically adapt to treat a temporary condition their demon frequently suffers from- for instance, to treat extreme insomnia or muscle cramps, to dissolve abscesses from the inside, or to reset one of the body’s natural cycles. Level of toxicity can fluctuate throughout the demon’s lifetime.

Goddess

Goddesses’ legs are built for flight - not just for landing - they are very strong! 

Feathers all along the tail can fan out and adjust individually, though, of course, the tail end has the most maneuverability. For potion recipies requiring the physical essence of a goddess feather, it is not usually specified whether it need be a tail or wing feather. Instead, the recipe will reference a specific altitude or bloodline. The wings and tails of goddesses contain special adaptations per their homeland and family line. A feather separated from the body of some goddess species becomes serrated and sharp like a blade, for instance, and these contain a potent defensive energy. Coloration also depends on place of origin and closely resembles that of the wings. 

While aiming for the wings is considered a legitimate battle tactic, aiming for the tail is considered an extreme insult and foul play, a sentiment largely reciprocated and respected by the Demon Clan. 

Fairy

The creatures known as fairies / fae / faerie display immense biological and magical diversity and that's fascinating to work with, so I added them to the list for funsies.

A fairy’s tail begins as a simple prehensile limb and grows into a symbol of the fairy’s power as they mature. In their base form, tails are most often used in dancing and in daily nonverbal communication. Fully awakened fairies’ tails transform in the likeness of their wings, sprouting insect-like appendages which greatly increase the speed and maneuverability of the fairy’s flight. For those of the highest ability, it becomes near-impossible to disorient them or to knock them from the air.

Gloxinia drifted down from the ceiling, looking at his successor like he was very strange. The little prince was still in his lap, seemingly napping. Gloxinia was running his fingers through his short curls, eyes distant. Briar looked entirely at home in his arms, his sweet face peaceful and unbothered. 

Harlequin stared at them before coming to his senses again, fully present in his body. He’d gotten used to being in Gloxinia’s, and it now felt a little strange to look at him. 

“Gloxinia, what just happened?” he ignored the other king’s original question. 

“You saw what happened.” Gloxinia straightened in midair, tone severe as his black eyes. “Back then, I was unable to stop myself, and I murdered Rou.” 

He sunk down again, pulling the boy in his lap close even as he slept. 

“I heard Briar calling for me— so I went back to our quarters. I found Sage dead. I…” he grit his teeth, making a sour face at a person only he could see, “I ripped that man apart. I don’t know what his name was.” 

Harlequin couldn’t help but shiver at the description. He could almost see it in his head— Gloxinia with bloody hands and the coldest of expressions, not unlike the one he wore when spearing Escanor through the chest. The look on his face after killing Rou had been terrifying, so he could only imagine the horrible rage that must’ve come over him beyond that.

Now that he’d met Lady Sage, Harlequin couldn’t really deny that Gloxinia’s reaction had been appropriate. She seemed kind, and it was obvious she’d loved him very much. She’d been loved very much. The folklore was true. The Fairy King had loved a human. 

Gerheade had never confirmed he had children, though. Now that Harlequin knew Briar was Gloxinia’s son, things started to come into focus. 

“Even after avenging them, my rage and grief was still there. So I directed it at humans— all humans— and Stigma, for failing to protect my family.” He sighed, his eyes still unfocused and staring somewhere in the distance. They seemed to glint in the green light. It was like he was stuck in a memory. Eventually, he glanced at Harlequin. “Before I knew it, I was fighting as a member of the Ten Commandments. I thought, maybe, even if they were gone I could still protect my people. Protect my children.” Gloxinia smoothed out Briar’s hair, now fluffed and messy from how he’d been fidgeting with it.

I Finally Finished This!!

It's so late, it took forever. But I finally finished it! This month has just been...oh my god, so busy.

► MISC MEMES

         Emerald eyes peered over the bridge of folded arms, cursory glances thrown to surroundings as it's steadily rearranged back in order and ingredients were neatly packed away. The knight hadn't cleanly escaped the smattering of chaos sprung onto the store either. A generous dusting of sugar powdered much of blond locks, white blending in with the fabric of his long coat. The perpetrators of said scuffle he came across had already been shown the exit. The solid kicks in the ass graciously handed out by his boot spoke clearly:  good riddance.

         Though, they must have said something to the owner. Enough for it to stick, and enough for it to prompt this airing of thoughts after Meliodas' innocuous observation — ❛ seems like you got a lot going on, lady ❜. Or maybe the demon had that kind of face, the type that's disarmingly open  ( quite contrary to reality )  where people felt the need to freely pour their heart out to him with relative ease. A part of him within heaved a mirthless / amused scoff at that last one, dismissing the stray musing out of hand.

         Relaxed position shifted, chin now resting atop his forearms. A puff of air sent a dusty cloud of particles into the air. Soon, his sight wandered again, drawn to the owner herself.  

         Layers sat underneath the statements, applicable to people like him  ( with a thing to bury, so that no eyes may rest upon it beyond the passing of a inattentive gaze )  but he held an idle stance, unsure if he wanted to even step forward and try navigating the complexities sitting between the lines waiting to trip up careless passersby. Something like apprehension invaded the tongue, bitter and bitingly sharp in contrast to the scent of scattered confectioneries that might otherwise make his mouth water.

         ❝ ...Well now, that's part of what living's about, is it not ?  Looking out for the few people that will accept you, no questions asked. ❞  Experience coloured response, affable words twisted into something stuck between wry and cheer. ❝ Though that is like finding a gold needle in a haystack. You'd have your work cut out for you. ❞

         Assumedly, the desire of said acceptance involved her heritage. If the locales' mix of rumours and testimonies sworn up and down the river about the fairy running the residential bakery weren't somehow sufficient, keen senses determined inhumane nature the moment he stepped near the establishment's threshold. ( word of mouth like that probably did wonders for business. it got him out here, didn't it ? ) Naturally, the obvious shimmer of luminescent wings appeared to be lacking, likely underneath the veil of magic. However, fae always carried a floral scent. It served as one of the indicators of fairies, a subtle tell typically less thoroughly hidden.

         While traces of empathy stirred within, ultimately none of this had anything to do with him. After all, what he was in the kingdom's eyes was a criminal shackled to the guilt of past crimes, and he's content with leaving it at that. The only personal insight he's willing to offer would have to stem from that surface image alone, whether she was aware of it or not.

        He allowed his head to fall slightly to the right with an airy laugh, adding on a cheeky afterthought:  ❝ Well, not everyone can have their cake and eat it too. But hey. I bet your baking skills go a long way for that goal already. Tons of people would hate to admit it, but they can be won over through their stomachs. Be the best and they won't have any leg to stand on. ❞

hiiiii!!! i haven’t interacted with you much but i was wondering! if you perhaps had any personal hcs/lore for nnt!! i’m writing a melban fic and currently begging for lore so!!!!!! hi! hope you have a wonderful day/night!!!

Hmmmmmm I think the main hcs that I have for the characters are influenced by other people's AUs/hcs so...

For Mel, it's mainly just the demon form cat stuff. I think at some point I read about someone saying that maybe demons get to pick the shape of their wings when they get them? I also like thinking of Meliodas having double horns (a pair coming out of his forehead and a pair on either side of the top of his head) that have grown in with time (maybe takes 100-200 years to grow fully?) And he has the typical demon tail and bla bla bla. Mostly physical appearances. There's fangs in his mouth, not like.. Vampire fangs, but fangs that can tear through meat easily (I haven't drawn him like that yet I think). Also - extreme flexibility, but that could somewhat be established in the show.

For Ban, I don't have too much? Maybe he has a super soft spot for Meli or smth. He likes cuddles about as much as he likes sparing, he looks kind of intimidating but he's super chill. He gets freaked out when Meliodas does contortionist type shit. He also teaches (or at least tries to teach) Meliodas how to cook properly by making the food the right way, but Meliodas very rarely listens completely because he has the attention span of less than 10 seconds OR he fucks it up to mess with Ban.

Anyways Ban is malewife and Meliodas is his pet cat. I think that's all for what I think about those two?

In terms of lore (like, story wise), I think that Meliodas didn't know how to write or read in English or whatever language they use in Britannia (which I assume is, like, anglo saxon or smth), and when he did learn, he developed an Irish accent because I am a strong believer in him being Irish (cuz, y know, Britannia). Demons and Goddesses speak semitic languages because of me thinking about religion and stuff and how Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc originated in the Middle East, Fairies are Eastern European to me idk why, Giants are..???? Whatever you wish, and humans are everywhere as expected. Vampires are also Eastern European because I searched it up and liked it. They have traditional dances and such - demons and giants have their dances connected to their fighting (giants dancing makes them stronger, demon dancing is just fusion dance w martial arts, like capoeira.), fairies create more lively atmospheres with dancing, I guess, and goddesses, since they're more "elegant", would have smth real classical. Fairies didn't really involve themselves in war too often, giants and demons involved themselves the most, and goddesses did it because of their VERY strained relationship with demons. Ehmmm, what else..... Meliodas never opened up to ANYONE. Like ever. Until he fully gained their trust (which could've taken months, years, decades even.) Ban's on the same boat. Anyways, after the sealing of the demons and the destruction of the goddess race (I may be incorrect, it's been a while since i watched the anime or read the manga), and since the humans are selfish and also gullible, they made history all about how bad demons were. They didn't see demons as actual people, whatever whatever, bla bla bla, you know the rest. Led to incorrect depictions of both races in history and what not.

That's just me, though. You can write whatever you want.

I have 17 works as of this post. There is a good chance that there will be many more. Pencil, I envy you and all your brainchildren.

I am at a grand total of... 119,898 words. Holy cow! I'm willing to bet most of that came from AHC.

3. What fandoms do I write for?

Whatever piece of media I'm hyperfixating on at that point in time, though I do try to keep myself from writing too many multi-chapters. My main fandoms are Bleach, Fairy Tail, and Jujutsu Kaisen with what I write though I do plan on writing some stuff for NNT and Hellsing.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. There are times where I can't figure out how to respond to a comment to I just kinda leave it be. Other times, I could respond because I want to know the audience's thoughts on a chapter or they mention liking this or that and I want to know why. To me, what helps improve writing is understanding not only how something works but why it works. For example, why do so many people like my characterization of Aizen in A Hollow Crown? What about his characterization makes people like him? Or I go to the comments when I need ideas and running around in my own head doesn't do the trick. Hell, I'll even leave it in the author's notes if I'm having trouble with a plot point and could use some audience feedback.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I'd say Ich bin verlore since it was a one-shot about longing for something you'd never have and wondering if what you did have was the real thing or not. Also, it's a Berserk fic so angst is inevitable.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

If we only include multi-chapters, then it could only go to A Hollow Crown since it's my only completed multichapter. And I'd say is a quiet sort of happiness, setting up for events to come and giving some characters a sense of hope. If we include one-shots, then I'd give that one to Dear God since it's an ending on a hopeful note where things can only really go up.

8. Do you get any hate on fics?

Nope! Hasn't happened to me.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

It's all yaoi smut. I tend to keep things from going into dub-con territory as smut where the consent isn't exactly clear is a squick for me. Any smut I write is between two or more adults, as I find writing smut of underage characters to be... ew.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I plan to write some. I've got an NNT x TOH fic I'm debating writing, one that's a big ol' fandom crossover inspired by Fear and Hunger 2: Termina. Another one I have in mind to write is this Bleach x Seven Deadly Sins that's moreso the world of NNT with the characters of Bleach (like pencil's Genshin x NNT fic).

Nope, and I hope I never get one stolen.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, though I'd love to take a crack at translating my own fics. Gotta get in that translation practice somehow!

Nope.

I do have a lot of ships, but I wouldn't quite say I have a favorite. I've written the most for AiIchi but I'd love to write for some others. Also, I'm someone who is more on board for found family fics or fics just focusing on the bonds between people.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Someday, I will return to my WIPs and finish them! Or I'd like to. To be honest, I have sooo many in my head that I need to put to paper.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I'd say character analysis. Several people have said that I'm good at breaking down a character and seeing what makes them work and then putting them into a fic.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

This is more of a personal nitpick with myself, but I feel like I struggle with making my chapters long enough. How do I get myself to write longer chapters? I wanna write longer chapters, dammit.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

You're asking this from the world languages major! I love adding that in... well, when it makes sense. If I can use it to add some spice to a character or give hints about them *cough* AHC!Grimmjow *cough* then I'll go right ahead. Ya just need to do it in a way that makes sense both in and out of the story to where readers can get the gist of it.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Fairy Tail! Demons x Dragonslayers is my oldest fic and first wrote it on Wattpad but started its rewrite on when I started cross-posting it on AO3.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

It'd have to be A Hollow Crown and by extension its series Hollow Moon . Yes, DxD is what started my fanfic journey but it was A Hollow Crown that really kicked it off. It also started my obsession of 'what if Aizen but good but he was still Aizen'.

Sorry I'm just going to be rambling here about the idea of what's going to be this au I've been thinking of for months and I just really want to act on it now since I'm not going to be as involved in doing stuff related to RWBY for some time

📜Set in Nanatsu no zaitai after season 1/ first arc after saving lions/ Leones (or however you say the kingdom's name)

The seven deadly sins are gone for several years and during that time Arthur Florence the knights of the round table and becomes very well known throughout the kingdom even more

And he all so meets a traveling knight blue lance (stand in for Lancelot from the story's)

He and Arthur don't start off as friends but after several years of fighting together and then fighting with each other on and off they become good friends and one time after Arthur does manage to beat Lance he asked him to become his right hand Knight after he gets blinded

This is set after like the first season / first Big Arc is over after Leona's was saved I have it where the sins go on a mission for the King after saving the kingdom and they get trapped away in time and end up meeting the ten commandments and they end up trapped away in time for about 7 years you know matching the number of the seven deadly

sins and they come back to big changes throughout Britannia after the demons still do end up coming there and attacking everyone during this time skip Arthur still loses his arm to estarosa but during his fight when he loses his arm and his eyesight he uses Excalibur on him and that's how they find out that he's the Lost archangel I'm actually going to give him more to do in my Au

Because let's be real in the sequel series The only reason Arthur is evil is because Merlin literally gave him all the power of God and it's probably corrupted his mind she probably should have gave him like 20 or 30% of that power we've seen her divide people's Powers before she did it to meliodis I don't know why she couldn't do it to Arthur and have it where he only had like a small percentage or half his power so that's what I'm doing here

He can still change the environment around himself he didn't know how to heal himself till later so that's why he's blind and still missing my arm I won't be adding

Elizabeth is 19 in this version as well when the series first starts cuz I do want to like add some stuff from the beginning Arc into this but I'm going to have it where she's 19

I'm probably not going to introduce escanor till later on because I am not sure what to do with his character as of right now he plays such a big role in later arcs but since he wasn't in the first season really to this season maybe I'll just have it where he shows up at the end after everyone's saved and he just meets back up with everyone and that's how the sands get reformed and then they get sent on a mission they find out the ten commandments are about to come back and then they get trapped away and like some different portal thing that drops them away for 7 years

been organizing my fanfiction wips today, and for some reason i have 3(!) different fairy tail fantasy creatures aus (that's not counting nnt au, which essentially fits the category too), for some reason the only thing 2 of them have in common is that Jellal is a crazy alchemist (and Merlin substitute in nnt au, which isn't that different)

on a less fortunate note, some other ideas had only 1 vague line of description, and i couldn't remember what was that about at all

need to jot down hsr ideas properly, lest i forget stuff again several fandoms down the line

Love the energy and fuck yes but I doubt Nakaba himself has an idea about half of that. The sins and stuff yes abso-fucking-lutely I want to see how they worked as a group, that's the whole appeal of the manga, but some things like Mel and Zels mum or Elizabeth's dad I think just don't exist in the world building. What makes the NNT verse so fucking funny is that while the relationships are intriguing and the characters feel very real, the world building itself is a whole clusterfuck of a plastic balloon someone repeatedly poked with a stick, and I'm kinda here for it.

(Definitely not because I do this myself when I write half of the time, cause why explicitly state things when you can just throw a vague circumstance into the room and slap a magic bandaid over it? So much more convenient and fun lmao. I get where all that mythology comes from.)

I think part of that is because NNT was more the prequel to 4kota than the other way around, but most of it looks like stylistic choice. It's a bit fairy tale/mythesque if that makes sense. The gods being conveyed less as real people than almighty figures for example, a missing real societal structure for any clan but the humans and thus lack of any real construction of the Holy War, or the whole myth of creation which doesn't exactly add up, maybe that'll be specified or deconstructed in some way in 4kota. The world building is kept very easy, in favor of the characterization and character dynamics. It allows for a shit ton of interpretation (and ventilation with all those plot holes) and all honest to God it used to piss me off so badly when I tried to write a Holy War fic and just noticed how bad things actually add up, but it's also pretty unique and fun I think. I hope that maybe 4kota will dive a bit deeper into the clans for example, how the demon society works and stuff, but I still think it'll stay pretty surface level.

Boy I'm bad at math too, so I kinda feel Nakaba there. Viva la fanfiction!

While I love Tristan, lancelot, gawain, and isolde, I would honestly rather have gotten prequels rather than a sequel from nnt

Like I'm watching season 5 episode 16 (possibly my fave episode) and ban says the 7th rule of the sins is "whether you like it or not, sometimes we have to work together" and that got me thinking about 10 years before the start, during the early years of the sins. Clearly they weren't always so fond of each other lol. Like I want to see them begin to learn to lean on each other, see the vampires of Edinburgh arc, see Zaratras (bc he's just so babygirl).

Even more so, I DESPERATELY want to see the Holy War as like a full sequence of events, see more of demon and goddess politics, as well as the demon and goddess realms, plus Meliodas and Elizabeth's original love story bc like I want to know how they went from Blood stained Ellie and Meliodas of Love to working with Stigma. I want to see the glory days of the 10 commandments, I want to know about Belialuin and the warlocks, the creation of the celestial race. PLUS I want to know more about the Supreme deity !! And meliodas and zeldris's mom, and Elizabeth's father, and watch gelda and zeldris fall in love.

There's just so much incredible world building that I feel like we're missing out by not getting to see these stories😭😭

Helbram Jr. “Junior” is the son of King Harlequin and Queen Diane. He is not their only son but I have no idea the ages of the other children so I can't say where he is in the lineup. He is fairy sized.

His father named him after Helbram, his best friend. For this reason he prefers to go by Junior instead, unless he is in trouble. To others he may be referred to as Prince Junior or Prince Helbram.

Yes, he looks like a teen boy— This is mostly because fairies generally look like adolescents the entire time before they are fully grown. He’s only about 3 years younger than Tristan. I’m working on it.

He’s closer with his dad, but as a child he would love sitting on his mom and taking naps.

Junior’s abilities are more closely related with his giant blood and he has yet to master working with plants. He works with sand and golems a lot of the time.

He has a little sister named Cassie, she’s a giant, but she doesn’t belong to me.

He’s had a huge crush on Violet for a while— they’ve been friends, but she has yet to reciprocate more than close friendship. He is okay with this.

He’s not technically an heir for either of his parent’s thrones. He cannot lead the Giants, because he’s a fairy, but the Sacred Tree decides on the fairy realm’s monarch. Nonetheless, he still tries to be a good enough prince. However, this does lead into him trying to find his own way in the world, eventually joining Violet in her order of knights.

He represents the virtue of kindness, because of his large capacity for empathy and his equally large heart. After all, the way to make big but quiet change is to be kind to those who society deems inferior.

He’s fairly cocky due to being extremely fast, even before his wing growth. His wings (when he grows them in adolescence) are shaped like dragonfly wings and he likes to race. He’s a good physical fighter but only if he can be in the air. He is very clumsy on his feet.

He has a guard named Crispin, though he's never needed much guarding. They meet when Junior is in his teen years. Crispin is not my oc, so I'm not super clear on his story beats yet. They are good friends.

Just like Violet, I’m not sure what plot or arcs I’ll be making for him. Definitely something about wanting to stand out against his eight other siblings (seven canon and one other oc).

The little bunny drawing is the tattoo, I’m not sure where to put it at this time. I think it’s a little obvious that Violet wanted to emulate her father and so… yay group tattoos.

So I'm doing research for another post, and I'm rewatching episodes, cuz google images is frickin useless, and I noticed an odd...discrepency between the sub and dub.

In the season 3 episode "Let There Be Light" when Harlequin and Diane are sent on that trial by Gloxina and Drole, there's a scene where Helbram is trying to wake Harlequin and Gloxinia addresses him. Helbram is surprised that Gloxinia can see him and questions it. In the English dub Gloxinia posits that it's because he's also a Fairy King, but in the sub he only says Fairy.

So, if we go with the sub there, would that mean any other Fairy can see Helbram as a spirit? Or should the dub be believed?

Edit: the manga also says "fellow Fairy". So...

Ships: Oh, man. This list is gonna be really long, so buckle up!

1) ObaMitsu (Kimetsu no Yaiba): These two are PERFECT!!!! I love that it combined fluff and angst nicely, and how much Obanai and Mitsuri love each other. I am also kind of a sucker for a forbidden romance, especially when the one staying in the way of a relationship is one of the characters that are a part of the said relationship (but even so, Chapter 200 hurt me so much😭). Add some friends to lovers, the grumpy one falling in love with a literal ray of sunshine, a pinch of slow burn and a proclamation of love from both parties and you get the good stuff!

2) Gruvia (Fairy Tail): In my humble opinion, this pairing is the one that pulled the "enemies to lovers" trope the best (from media I know of). but seriously, screw the filler episodes I love that their development was on-screen and that right now, the only thing we need is Gray actually confessing his feelings to Juvia. And I love how Juvia's love is actually genuine, and now we have the confirmation that Gray also loves her (Thank you, 100 Year Quest!). Plus, their dynamics is really nice and they're a really cool couple (no pun intended).

3) Banlaine (Nanatsu no Taizai): This ship has touched my soul and made me cry so often, and I LOVE it! I love Ban and Elaine as individual characters, and this makes the ship even better! I love how Ban turned from the guy who wanted to steal his immortality to one who would gladly give it away to save the love of his life (he's also the best husbando in the whole show; you cannot change my mind). And how Elaine started not liking Humans, to sacrificing her own life to save the man she loved (she is extremely adorable as well). It's also bittersweet that Ban never held any woman in his heart but Elaine for 2 decades, and that for a long time he could not see her again, because as an immortal, he could not die, and since Elaine was dead, he could not be reunited with her in the land of the living either. And now they have baby Lancelot, so SQUEAL!! (Bless you, Nakaba!!)

4) Tomoya x Nagisa (CLANNAD): A cute ship that gave me so many feels! I love how we didn't have to get a kiss to know they love each other, and the lewdest thing we've seen them do is hug each other. THEY'RE SO CUTE AND PURE AND AAAAAH!!! (but the second half of After Story broke me😭)

5) EdWin (Fullmetal Alchemist): Everyone who knows me (and their mother) knows that my favorite romantic trope is "childhood friends to lovers". And EdWin NAILED it! Plus, I love that their relationship felt so... natural. They didn't always say or do the right thing; every relationship has its weird moments. Like, Ed and Winry mostly end up in hilarious situations or have extremely heartwarming moments (plus, Riza and Hughes knew what was going on, wink wonk honk honk). So yeah, Edwin forever, folks!

6) Gomez x Morticia Addams (The Addams Family): These two are GOALS!!!!! Gomez is so openly in love with Morticia and viceversa, they have a happy marriage, two entertaining kids and are genuinely good people, despite their unconventional set of values. They know each other so well, they share the same values and they make each other happy just by being in one another's presence. How can one not love their relationship?!
