The Sky Cat's poetry in nitw really touches my soul, I love it so much. Considering doing a little series of paintings of Sky Cat's poetry🤔 but may need a thinner white for the writing, as this ended up thicker than I'd have preferred!

Absolutely devastated the Night in The Woods sequel got cancelled. Was so looking forward to it. Honestly, nitw's existential absurdism provides (imo) a fantastic basis for ideological introspection and reform. The game provokes the player to ask the Big Questions™, which I absolutely ADORE.

Ironically I got the worst ending the first time I played because I do not know how to manage my (in-game) time well at ALL lmao 🤭 I'll go back to playing eventually, but for now I hope you all enjoy this!

at that point in my nitw playthrough rewatch where mae really starts her descent back into another episode after her meeting w the sky cat and holy shit i forgot how good this is. like the subtlety of her struggle is really well done because even though everyone seems to know what happened to her and what she did in highschool, for some reason, once everyone starts to comment on her headaches or how she always looks tired or simply like shit, no one even thinks to check to make sure she's okay.

when she even blows up in the priestess', karen's, face after their discussion of the existence of the (implied) christian god which cuts immediately to her mother asking about her headaches and it's at that point you realise she's really starting to struggle.

OOOOOH YEAH. eyah of course. easy money answers are the final duet from omori and the end of the family run in isat. but i also think. a lot about the sky cat dream from nitw, as well as maes shapes monologue.

i also think about the end of fran bow pretty often. oh and the switch up in drv3s first trial.
