Reminds me of my Vault Hunter- I forget what her name was but I remember that she was a Jakobs because one of the family got her mom pregnant when she was a maid there and she's hunting vaults in order to secure her stake in the company

She's got one white and gold robot arm and her skill trees are revolvers, snipers, and Jakobs bonuses

The revolvers one increases headshot damage and reload speed, increases accuracy with fan fire, etc

Snipers is increased headshot damage and reload speed but also gives you something similar to zer0's ascending critical thing

And the jakob's loyalty tree is like. Better chance to get jakob's weapons, jakobs weapons drop at higher rarity, and the final one would restore the 420% headshot damage bonus from 2

Moodboard Monday: Seismic

A gunslinger (asshole), a CEO (asshole) and a lawyer (asshole, but classy) walk into a bar? Here's hoping the owner's insurance can cover it.

For this week's MS: Moodboard Monday by @moon-and-seraph, I put together a little something for the three main characters of chapter 4 of my WIP Seismic. And even though the evening described in the chapter wasn't quite like the outing described above, these three are definitely going out for drinks together in the near future.

Nisha grins at her across the doorstep. Meg takes a step forward and kisses her square on the mouth. After the initial shock, it’s not even that bad of a kiss. A little too much teeth, but she expected that much. The purple lipstick tastes like plum with a touch of jet fuel. She steps back and gives Nisha her sweetest smile. “Hope that was okay, Nish. Just wanted to give you a proper thank-you for showing Jack a good time, you know?” It only lasts three seconds, five tops. But it is official and confirmed: she has just rendered Sheriff Nisha Kadam, however briefly, speechless. “Hey, do that again,” Jack calls from behind her. “I didn’t get my ECHO out in time.” “You snooze, you lose, cowboy.” Nisha laughs at him over Meg’s shoulder. “So… Meg, right? Like I said, I don’t often go riding this side of the tracks, but tell you what, once you get bored of Mr. Hyperion back there, why don’t you swing by Lynchwood? May well be a bottle of whiskey with your name on it.” “Thanks, Sheriff.” Meg shoots her a wink. “I’ll keep that in mind.”

dumb borderlands OCs because y'all asked for it

Species: Ratch

Personality: shifty. Basically a thieving street rat.

Action skill: speedy thief 

Gain increased movement speed and gun damage. Picking up loot [ammo and money] during action skill will slowly increase damage. This has diminishing returns. 

Skill trees: Art of theft, percussive pickpocket, swift Street rat

Art of theft: Focuses on both increasing elemental and splash damage. Has the subtle passive ability to increase the amount of loot gained from killing enemies.  

Percussive pickpocket: focuses on increasing melee and gun damage. Upon melee, there's a chance of attaching a sticky bomb to the target. 

Swift Street rat: focuses entirely on shields and quickly racking up stack damage. Chock full of kill skills, shield buffs, and kill skills that give shield buffs.

Avhi Szok'zi

Species: Spiderant.

Personality: Aloof blood Knight. Enjoys the thrill of murder but never raises their voice outside of combat.

Action skill: Gunslinger's pride

While using a piece of scrap metal fastened to her left arm as a shield, aim down sights a la VATS [kinda like nisha mixed with athena] 

Skill trees: Marksman's glory, tactical coward, Aimbot

Marksman's glory: Increased long-range gun damage and kill skills. 

Tactical coward: Focuses on shield and health buffs. 

Aimbot: Focuses on improving accuracy.

Brohm Menavid

Species: Bullymong

Personality: hammy blood Knight. Really enjoys murder, and is really loud about it. 

Action skill: Gunmonger

Top pair of arms are in charge of punching things, the lower pair of arms duel wield a random pair of guns from your inventory. Kills with melee increase duration, however this has diminishing returns. 

Skill trees: Psychotic, Blood rush, metal fur. 

Psychotic: focuses on increased melee damage. Weakens diminishing returns. 

Blood rush: focuses on increasing gun damage. 

Metal fur: focuses on buffing shields of both you and your allies [if you're playing in multiplayer, otherwise it's just your own.]

Dioriko Crawley 

Species: Varkid

Personality: Aloof scientist. Imagine a [somewhat] less crazy Tannis if she became a vault hunter.

Action skill: Varkid volleyball

Spawn a swarm of young varkids to aid you in battle. These varkids can be killed, and can only be revived by waiting for the skill to recharge.

Skill trees: Cold equation, necessary evil, digital swarm. 

Cold equation: focuses on stacking damage and overall buffs. 

Necessary evil: Focuses on a 'cast-from-hit points' effect during action skill. Allows Varkids spawned from Varkid volleyball to sacrifice themselves, giving buffs to the player upon death. 

Digital swarm: Focuses on buffing the varkids themselves, such as giving them elemental damage and increased health.

[I always worry that Jack is going to be perceived as misogynistic because of the fact that he keeps calling women "sweetcheeks" and "pumpkin." I think it's important to remember that that isn't happening in a vacuum; he calls grown ass men these names more often than women. Jack doesn't really respect anyone. But, on average, he respects women more than men.

The women who work for Hyperion, and especially the women surviving down on Pandora, are extremely smart and extremely competent. The women at Hyperion had to work hard for their positions, while a lot of the men are kinda winging it and skirting by on their dads working there or whatever. The women seem more willing to forge their own destinies, while the men often just want to be the next Handsome Jack.

I think it's especially telling with the type of women he gets into relationships with. Moxxi is a genius with tech. After she had already dumped him (and he blew up her Underdome in response,) he still went to her for help when he needed the best of the best for his vault mission. Nisha's the best gunslinger in the galaxy. Athena's (honorable mention, not an ex girlfriend) about the only person who puts real serious fear in him. He takes women very seriously.]

She’s my Self Insert OC). She doesn’t remember her birth parents because they died when she was really young. She and Arthur Maxson basically grew up together til she meet Madison Li during Fallout 3 and basically latched? onto her and when Madison ultimately decided to leave the capital wasteland she asked Alex if she wanted to go with, and Alex happily agreed. They went to The Institute and settled there, she was kinda shy there at first but eventually made friends with Liam Binet and got out of her shell?(She didn’t really have children her age back at the citadel so lol) I guess. She was/is really like intelligent for her age, so I guess that’s why Madison saw like Potential in her? Anyways, when she was about 16ish? Conrad Kellogg help train her more in combat and stuff and took her on mission on the surface as well. She saw him as a dad but kinda really say anything til one day when he helped with training she was like Thanks, Dad. lol. She then heard about the BOS coming to the commonwealth and went to investigate? and she came along the Cambridge Police Station and met Paladin Danse. Met My Sole Survivor Nathan Ian Howard there as well.
