Crossroads of Destiny ( Persona x Ninjago au- crossover) Part one

Summey: 

Lloyd Garmadon is a troubled young man who moves to Ninjago City with his mother due to her new job. She assures him that this move is for the best, offering him a fresh start and the opportunity to make new friends. However, he feels burdened by his father's past sins, making it challenging to connect with others.

Will he ultimately carve out his identity, stepping boldly into the light and embracing the possibilities ahead? Or will he succumb to the shadows, allowing darkness to envelop him and transform him into a mere echo of his father—a reflection of the very demons he longs to escape?

Persona stories always have core themes for this story: balance, growth/change/maturity, and the fact that not everything is black and white; a story has multiple sides.

The velvet room

When I started brainstorming about AU, I began to think about what his Velvet room would be like. I love the Velvet rooms in those games; don’t ask why, but they are my favorite location.

At first, I considered making it a dojo. However, after giving it more thought, I decided against that idea. Instead, I envisioned Lloyd's velvet room concept as a waiting area between heaven and hell, representing light and dark, or Limbo. I think this new concept fits Lloyd much better in this alternate universe.

Safie is a velvet attendant who assists Igor. She is curious and naive about Lloyd and his soul, wondering if he will truly choose the path that has been laid out for him. Life is pleased to accompany him on this journey and observe his experiences.

Persona/Arcana 

I'm still developing personas, and each one aligns with the concept of Arcana. Lloyd is the fool or wildcard. 

Each game features a theme for its personas: Persona 3 is based on Greek mythology, Persona 4 draws from Japanese mythology, and thieves and tricksters inspire Persona 5. 

The themes I have chosen focus on growth and maturity, mainly reflecting the behavior of the ninjas in the show. They often display carelessness, arrogance, and immaturity. I thought about including personas based on famous Japanese and Asian folklore heroes that children recognize. My idea is that the ninjas are portrayed as somewhat childish or enamored with the concept of being heroes, which leads them to take their jobs less seriously. They don't fully understand what it means to be a true hero.

I have two ideas for Lloyd’s persona. The first is inspired by the Japanese fairytale of the red Oni, who wants to make friends with villagers but is feared. The blue Oni helps him by causing chaos, allowing the red Oni to save the day and befriend the villagers. However, the blue Oni must leave, which hurts the red Oni, who realizes he lost his friend. I believe it is a deconstruction of the tale; Lloyd is the red Oni—misunderstood and seeking friendship. The blue Oni represents Garmadon, but unlike in the fairytale, Garmadon’s actions are driven by selfishness rather than a desire to help, even though he still cares for Lloyd.

The second idea involves Momotaro, a well-known folklore character from Japan. The story is about a boy born from a peach and accompanied by a monkey, a dog, and a pheasant on his quest to defeat the Oni king. I believe this concept aligns well with my vision. In my adaptation, Lloyd is a character akin to Momotaro. While he isn’t born from a peach, there are things called golden peaches, which I thought could reference his golden power for the show. Along the way, he meets companions who join him on his quest. I hope you can see the parallels I'm drawing here. Again, Garmandon is the oni king.

I considered creating ninja-based personas, but I believe they would work better as secondary or ultimate personas, showing that they have reached the proportional, are growing, and have become true ninjas.

Hattori Hanzō is Lloyd’s secondary persona, recognized as a legendary ninja steeped in the rich tapestry of Japanese culture. He is celebrated for his exceptional skills, stealth, and strategic prowess, embodying the qualities of a masterful warrior who has left an indelible mark on the history of the samurai and ninja.

The shaded Path/Temple

I’m considering their version of the palaces and mementos from Persona 5. The shaded path is a maze-like area filled with twists and turns. The dungeon can change environments; one floor resembles a desert, while another resembles a forest. The interesting ender of the dungeon is that it appears to be a regular, old, run-down temple or shrine located deep within the mountains. 

The temples are twisted manifestations of someone's desires. They always sit in the center of Ninjago City, a Ninjago that is twisted in their version of the city.

What’s a Persona AU without a Hiimdaisy parody? I’ve decided that Chen and Clouse will make up Kai’s Strength Social Link. Their relationship is… questionable lol. (Also accidental trans-misogynist Clouse 😬. At least Kai uses all pronouns) I haven’t designed Chen or Clouse yet, so uhh this probably isn’t gonna be what they look like in the AU lol

Summery:

The ninja were called to investigate a storage warehouse and find a room covered wall to wall with TVs. When they try to investigate further Jay is pulled in and the others jump in after.

Firstly, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting.

Secondly, this is the first time I see the prototype form the ninjago movie and WOW.

Now. I'll tell you about the hair and how it looks.

I needed to draw some of them to explain how it looks, BUT I'M WARNING I CAN'T DRAW? so it's littelary basics..

NOW-

Kai

In the beginning Kai very similar to the canon.

He was short messy hair. He also uses hair gel to make his hair look like his father's, but doesn't go too well with it.

With time passing by with the ninjas, Kai allows himself to experiment with his hair a little.

He doesn't need to work in the field every day, like he used to, so he doesn't need a short too practical hair. Moreoved he has more time to take care of his hair.

Kai growing his hair out and in the beginning of the season 5 he decises to dye a few strands red.

Because One red is his favourite color and Two to show indirectly support towards his sister (because well Nya is the fire ninja and her costume is red)

Kai still uses hair gel, but doesn't try to make his hair look like their father's.

Kai has red highlightd until the end end of the season 6.

The whole Nadakam mess/situation had a big impact on him and Cole, but in the end Kai got more even confidence, because of that.

After that Cole helps Kai dye his hair strands blue and it last to season 7.

AND HERE WE COME TO SEASON 8

I might have depicted it wrong in the drawing, but his hair is generally long..

In season 8 Kai's hair are lighty dyed to blue.

He uses way more gel than before and tries to shape it to some sort of wave. (I wanted to make some sort of mix from the canon, but well Kai's hair are hard to draw.)

They are very long so at home he sometimes puts it in a ponytail or braids it. (I wasn't able to draw) Very rarely, but he does.

Next Nya!!!

Nya

At the beginning her hair look just like in the canon, but there are still some changes.

Nya straightens her hair every day because it is naturally light wavy.

She keeps them also short and Kai cuts them regularly, since always.

It's almost tradition for them.

After Reboot season Nya is very devastated by Zane's death.

She blamed herself to a large extent for contributing to overwork and not performing basic routine activities in her life.. And she often forgot to straighten her hair.. She was a mess.

Her hair then were similar to her mother's.

Nya wasn't a fan of this look. She thought that short hair like hers, looked better as straight.

Nevertheless in the season 4, Jay commented that her hair were pretty. Nya started thinking about growning her hair, but wasn't sure.

She finally made her decision in season 5, after seeing that Kai started changing his hair-style.

In the season 5, when Kai dyed his hair, Nya was impressed and decided to do the same.

So during season 6 both Nya and Kai had had the same red streaks of hair.

NOW SEAOSON 8!

In the season 8 Nya decided to experiment with her hair.

She decided to grow them very long, but also wanted them to be part shaved. (Like on the picture)

She also decided to dye her hair on the sides red.

She stopped using the hair straightener a long time ago.

Fun fuct, Nya has to shave regulary and sometimes Kai or Jay help her with that.

HAHA I'm not the one who just wasted my time analyzing Kaia's hairstyles and styling on Pinterest juzt to do this! NOT AT ALL- (jokes)

I'll try to do my best to give you as much as I can. For now I'm trying to analizę his personality and tramua and how it'll have impact on each season.

For example.. I didn't mentioned it on Tumbrl, but on my work on ao3 "Master of Water" it's lightly mentioned by Kai, that he's afraid of forgetting his parents.

He's afraid because he can't remmeber their voices and barely remember their faces without fotos.

But that's not the sceariest part.

He and Nya lost them at young age.

But Nya (as the younger one, who was basically raised by Kai alone) doesn't recall any memories of their parents.

For her that are just some bunch of people that she hadn't ever meet.

THIS. This is scary for Kai.

He's scared, that one day he'll forget about the people that at dearest to his heart.

That he'll feel/remember nothing like his sister or it'll be just meaningless.

In season 5 Kai in the end overcomes this fear and his fear of water, thinking everything will be alright with his new family.

He starts living water and his power.

BUT THEN WE COME TO THE SEABOUND/CRYSTALISED PART-

Kai forgets about everything for over a year. Friends, paretns, boyfriend, sensei and his dear sister that he promised to protect.

Still as the one with the water Kai, when unexpectedly he remembers his sister, Kai is desperate and scared to come back.

He starts calling everyone he knows in the lantern in hope of saving him. He's scared and desperate. because he's afraid that in a second he'll forget again.

Then when Kai came back to normal everyting is diffrent.

His relationship with his own element is basiclly love-hate. Ups and downs.. In the infinity..

Kai is torn apart in crystalised.

He doesn't have powers and he feels both sad and relifed.

Sad because he can protect his family as good as before, but relived because this power made him forget everything what was the most important to him.

Moreover Kai sometimes feels of, while looking at the sea. As if he were in a trance, which is a side-effect of being one with the water for over a year.

....This guy needs therapy.

Anyway, I wrote myself off a bit..

I have a question for you. After the events of “The Mind is Not a Vessel to be Filled”, how do you think Skylor and Neuro made up after the betrayal? Since the next time we see them, they’re great friends? Was there any awkward conversations? Did Neuro hold a grudge for a bit? Did Skylor lose sleep from the guilt of having thrown everyone under the bus?

Sorry I just love the friendship dynamic between Skylor and Neuro and need more interactions and them working out issues.

Hey! Glad to hear that my first Ninjago fic in a long time is still out there inspiring people and giving them a nice story to read! The Neuro and Skylor friendship means so much to me. I headcanon Neuro as having grown up in a very similar situation to Skylor: his father was missing and his mother was quite neglectful, so he understands her hardships and pains and tat kind of turmoil an upbringing like that brings. Their relationship is heavily based on a mutual respect and understanding for each other, knowing how each of their minds works and what makes them different from other people. Skylor needs touch, and Neuro indulges her. Neuro needs quiet, and Skylor gives that to him. To me, they are the queerplatonic relationship of all time.

Honestly, I could fill a whole Tumblr post with ramblings about Neuro and his dynamics with other Ninjago characters but I don't think anybody wants to hear that lmao.

I think the aftermath of the Tournament wasn't super easy on them, definitely the rockiest part in their bond. Neuro probably wasn't as forgiving as Kai was, not that I think anyone blames him. But I don't think he was as mad at Skylor believed him to be. Once he got to understand who the real Skylor was, and not just the persona she put on for the Tournament, a lot of pieces clicked into place for him. It didn't excuse her actions, but Neuro realized why she made the decisions she did and that helped him forgive her.

Neuro in the show is pretty wishy-washy and I think a lot of people forget that. He moves to what serves him at the moment, what guarantees his survival, even if that means drastically jumping ship. I know everyone treats him like the straight man to a lot of the Elemental Masters, but that's what he wants you to think lmao. Neuro is also emotional and easily distressed when put in a tense or uncomfortable position; he struggles to maintain his crafted persona when in the heat of the moment. And in my AU, he definitely got the sense that after knowing Skylor was his soulmate, he couldn't survive without her and she couldn't survive without him. That led to them having some very tough and heavy conversations with each other, but much needed conversations indeed. Neuro, for a psychic, doesn't seem to do mind games and is pretty blunt. He speaks his mind. For Skylor, it probably felt pretty good to finally drop the pretense of pretending to be someone she's not and being able to be open and honest for once, feeling what she feels instead of what others want her to feel. I think that's why these two work so well together: they communicate. They let down their walls to be their true selves around each other. And it's why Neuro couldn't give two shits about Skylor dating Kai (aside from the obvious incompatible orientations lmao), because they've established boundaries and they respect them.

Wow, this got out of hand fast. I'm sorry, I just have so many thoughts about these two.

NAME　Renée

In Ninjago culture, individuals typically use English originated names and do not place much importance on surnames. So she herself doesn't focus on her original Korean name or surname, rarely mentioning them and ended up using only English nickname "Renée" as her first name in Ninjago.

Currently, her legal guardian is Master Wu. As a result, she has the option to use the name "Garmadon" as her last name. Her legal surname in Ninjago is assumed to be one of three possibilities: 'Garmadon', 'Lee', or 'Bleicher'. However, it is uncertain which, if any, is her true surname, as the information is not publicly available or confirmed.

APPEARANCE

Pitch-black, waist-length, wavy hair. Black eyes with double eyelids, and neutral-warm fair skin. Wears a Swarovski crystal necklace and thin, black knot bracelet. Clothing varies, but prefers simple and classic outfits.

* No racial offence here: I am the one who already harassed from being white-skinned Korean for twenty years. Features that Westerners think of as "asian features" are surprisingly rare in Northeast Asia and are not even close to the truth.

Standing at approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing between 85-93lbs, she possesses a well-balanced and toned physique, the result of her previous ballet training.

At first glance, she appears cute, but her expression is often cool and sarcastic, creating an air of unapproachability or uneasiness.

Because she is not from Ninjago, she's free from the influence of time paradox and her appearance remains the same throughout all seasons.

Due to her origin in the real world, she is essentially frozen in time and does not experience any aging in the Ninjago series. She remains in a perpetual state of being 18 years old, forever youthful and unchanging.

During the non-production period between Season 2 and 3, she return to her original world by using Lloyd's Gold Power and the main plot ends.

However, in an alternative storyline, she remains unable to return to the real world, leading her to reside in Ninjago. From Season 3 onwards, her appearances in the show are set in this alternative world.

None of the worlds assume romantic relationships and official shipping. However, I allow the possibility of shipping through fan-fiction like shippings involving Renée.

In addition, numerous alternative world-building concepts exist. Some borrow popular AU concepts other than the Ninjago series, while others draw from non-canon works of the Ninjago series.

Season 1, Rise of the Snakes(2011)

Due to ninjas' misusage of Traveler's Tea, she transported into the world of Ninjago at Episode 7. Master Wu used Traveler's Tea to enter the Realm of Madness in search of Garmadon. The Ninja became aware of how to use Traveler's Tea and used it during off-camera moments to enhance their True Potentials. However, a mistake occurred, accidentally transporting her from the real world to the world of Ninjago. At the time in the real world, it was November 2021. As a high school student, she had just taken her university entrance exams and was in the middle of moving houses.

After accidentally transporting her to the Ninjago world, the Ninjas take on the responsibility of her and have promised to return her to her original world. As they live together in the Destiny's Bounty throughout the season, they form close bonds. She particularly takes on the role of guardian for Lloyd.

Season 2, Legacy of the Green Ninja(2012)

After the Great Devourer's defeat, Garmadon's disappearance with the Golden Weapons meant she lost the means to return home. Despite remaining under the Ninjas' responsibility and protection, she continues to live with them, seeking a way to return to real life.

Although the Golden Weapons are gone, Lloyd with awakened Gold Power enables her to return to her original world across dimensions. Officially, the main plot concludes here.

【Reside AU】　Season 3, Rebooted(2014)

Unable to return to the real world, she begins basic training in Ninjago. After passing the equivalency exam, she enrols in to a universitat of engineering in the Ninjago world. In the season finale, she catches the attention of Dr. Borg, who scouts her for an internship.

【Reside AU】　Season 5, Possession(2015)

Renée, currently a university student and intern for Borg Industry is living in Ninjago City. She visits the Steep Wisdom for the New Year. However, on the very day, Morro's attack occurs, and she catches his attention due to her unique soul and bond with Lloyd, leading to her being held captive by him for the entire season.

【Reside AU】　Season 7, Hands of Time(2017)

She both continues her studies at the university and works at Borg Industries, as a protégé of Dr. Borg. Currently acknowledged as a renowned engineer, she has played a significant role in Ninjago's technical advance. She highly contributed at developing devices as BorgPad and BorgWatch. This makes her a valuable target as Dr. Borg for the Time Twins. They kidnapp both of them to construct the Iron Doom.

【Reside AU】　Season 8, Sons of Garmadon(2018)

She was also invited to the Royal Palace with the Ninjas, and allied with them during Sons of Garmadon's occupation of Ninjago. Harumi initially aimed to use her to manipulate Lloyd, but surprisingly, she fell deeply in love for Renée. Since both of Harumi and Renée are victims of the Ninjas, Harumi now genuinely cares for Renée and feels a strong connection, identification and affection towards her.

【Reside AU】　Season 11, Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu(2019)

Aspheera transports Renée and Zane to the Never Realm. During the repair of the Titan Mech, they are attacked by Vex. Vex mistakenly assumes that Zane and Renée are in a romantic relationship and believes that Renee possesses magical powers too. He therefore crowns them as the Ice Emperor and Ice Empress. Later, once Vex discovers that she does not possess any magical power, she becomes a prisoner-hostage within the Castle of Ice.

She gives birth to Boreal with the Ice Emperor. Despite being imprisoned, she maintains her position as the Ice Empress, and she is notorious in the Never Realm. She has remained youthful and uncorrupted for 60 years, this led to her being misunderstood as a immortal being.

【Reside AU】　Season 12, Prime Empire(2020)

During the villains' attack on Borg Tower, she joins the Ninjas, also entering Prime Empire. Instead of participating in the quest to locate the Key-tana, she stays with Scott and investigates the Prime Empire world. She swiftly rises to the top of the game's player leaderboard, showcasing her exceptional gaming skills.

Soon, she becomes a star player known as Prima Donna, working as a game streamer, professional player, and also a model in Prime Empire, while the Ninjas search for the Key-tana in The Maze of the Red Dragon.

However, deep down, she's actually a bit shy, tired, and reserved. Also, her unique status as an alien in this world has further isolated her, leaving her feeling somewhat alone and distant from others. But still she finds comfort in her autonomy and self-reliance. Despite her reserved demeanour and independent nature, her sincere, honest, considerate, boyish, free and easy personality are traits that many people find her appealing and desire to be associated with. Ultimately, she typically attracts admirers and friends, embodying an image of a 'cold princess of the class that everyone wants to be friends with yet cannot approach' and 'a person who turns out to be a funny fool at the end'. Renée has formed a unique bond with Zane and Lloyd among the ninjas, feeling a deep sense of understanding with Zane, as they both experience separation from humanity, and nurturing a siblingship/maternal bond with Lloyd, as she considers him as a younger brother. While Zane is a robot outcast and Lloyd was just a 7-year-old boy without a mother, Renee stepped in to fill their deficiency, caring for them immensely. Zane appreciate and value Renee's company and develop a sense of loyalty and trust towards her. Lloyd regards her as a sister or mother like figure, trusting and respecting her deeply too.

She also gets along well with the other ninjas. They acknowledge her as a valued member of their team and have known each other for a long time, creating a sense of familiarity and camaraderie. While it is true that they share a bond and value one another, their relationship is not extremely close or highly personal. It is more characterised by a sense of mutual respect and a shared history, rather than an intense or intimate friendship. Personally, she has a strong distaste for Kai and Nya. Her resentment towards Kai and Nya stems from their immature behaviour, unwillingness to acknowledge their mistakes, and lack of remorse for her predicament, which was caused directly by their actions. Furthermore, her distaste for them arises from their arrogant, impatient, and disagreeable personalities. And Jay's constant chattering and nonstop antics only serve to exhaust her, while Cole was simply doesn't resonate with her.

Renée harbors a deep resentment towards Misako, finding it difficult to comprehend her actions. She is appalled by Misako's decision to abandon her son, and is particularly disgusted by her lack of remorse and parental responsibility. Also, she doesn't like Master Wu's secretive(and usually stupid) actions. Although she despises those who are immature, she tries to be polite to them.

As the sole individual without martial arts or elemental powers, Renee is most vulnerable to attack and is constantly targeted and sought after by the ninja's adversaries. Given that her presence in Ninjago is a result of the ninjas' mistake, villains who bear a grudge against ninjas perceive Renée as victim and a pawn to be exploited by ninjas. This vulnerability and similarity with enemies has led the evil actively pursue and persuade her towards the dark side. In most instances, attacks on Renee have involved attempts to abduct her or entice her towards the dark side, with Morro and Harumi being particularly fixated on her and harboring deep emotional bonds and strong feelings of affection and desire.

When considering alternate universes for romantic possibilities, she is mainly associated with four characters: Zane(only before he met P.I.X.A.L.), Lloyd, Morro, and Harumi.

Zane and Renee's mature and adult attitudes complement each other wonderfully. Even without an alternate universe for romance, their considerate, sweet emotional exchange often makes them seem like a newlywed couple. In this hypothetical scenario which allows romantic exchange, they would indeed make a beautiful and respectful couple.

However, Renee's relationship with Lloyd in this alternate universe is characterised by a one-sided affection, where Lloyd attempts to woo Renee while she consistently rejects his advances. Given his young age and naiveté, Lloyd has a tendency to confuse sibling-like affection and care for something romantic, often blurring the lines between their relationship boundaries.

For both Morro and Harumi, they've already established a half-romantic relationship with Renee in the original universe. As a ghost, Morro could see through Renée's soul and find out it's outstandingly charming. Also he feels a sense of kinship with Renee, who is an alien and similarly doesn't belong to this world. Morro desires to win Renee's affection, which is currently directed towards Green Ninja Lloyd, as he desires the title of Green Ninja. He wishes for the love and attention that Lloyd receives from Renee to be his own. Harumi has a profound identification with Renee, primarily driven by their shared trauma related to the ninjas. The ordeal in Season 1 where Renee became trapped in Ninjago due to a ninja's mistake also resulted in the loss of Harumi's parents. This mutual traumatic experience has led to a complex mix of emotions for Harumi to identify herself with Renée. Their attachment to Renee is fuelled by an overwhelming, intoxicating mix of desire, obsessive possessiveness, unquenchable craving, and all-consuming need for exclusive belonging. In this romance AU, they try to possess Renée more intensely.

My favourite shipping is Morro/Renee. But I am open to others' creative interpretations and fan-made shipping involving Renée. Feel free to give me any fanarts involving Renée, thanks! (one of my follower gave me Pythor/Renée ship. I enjoyed it a lot lol) However, I'm not accepting any sexual, offensive or inappropriate shipping towards Renée, including changing her gender and race other than Korean.

Throughout all seasons, she carries the qualities of an alien or outsider, her real-life identity making her a perpetual stranger in the world of Ninjago. She is both part of the story and yet distinctly separate, unable to fully integrate into Ninjago's world. In subsequent seasons of the show, she lives separately from the ninjas but continues to appear in several seasons, remaining a prominent presence.

In the alternate timeline where she couldn't return to the real world after Season 2 of the show, she embraced a new life in Ninjago, enrolling in college and pursuing a degree in engineering. Her unique insights and forward-thinking ideas quickly caught the attention of Dr. Borg. He offered her his assistance, and she made significant impact in multiple engineering fields, using her knowledge from the real world.

In Possession(2015), Morro becomes enchanted by her unique spirit, a product of her extraterrestrial origin. Also, Lloyd and Renée's strong bond, which can be characterised as siblings, leads Morro to use her as a hostage in his plans, throughout the show.

In Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu(2019), she trapped in the Never Realm alongside Zane, where they're crowned as Ice Emperor and Ice Empress.

In Prime Empire(2020), her exceptional gaming skills as a Korean quickly elevated her to the top echelons in Prime Empire. She earned the stage name Prima Donna and works as a game streamer, game player, and model in Prime Empire.

LANGUAGE

Native Korean speaker and is adept in English. She also has basic knowledge of both Japanese and German, along with a intermediate understanding of French and Español.

Her speech carries a subtle accent. Mild southern Korean dialect and a bit of European, particularly German.

Although she could communicate with people in the world of Ninjago, she initially did not know how to read or write Ninjago's characters. She had to learn them, but to her surprise, Ninjago's characters were close to a combination of Japanese and Chinese characters and alphabet. With her existing knowledge, she was able to learn them without much difficulty. She found it particularly easy to understand Ninjago's ancient script due to her familiarity with Chinese characters, reading it fluently.

TRIVIA

She outwardly appears like a popular girly-girl of Gen X, but beneath the surface, her inner self is a true nerd. She is a huge fan of the old console games, science fiction, superhero and action movies such as Star Wars, Mission Impossible series, and Marvel/DC movies. Her interests are more akin to those of a Gen Z or millennial dork.

Also she's quite a bit of em, unlike her appearance. She likes rock/metal musics and sometimes colour her nails in black. She even plays electric guitar.

Has good sense and quick learning ability at various things.

She had been trained in a ballet academy but quit few years before, due to various reasons, mainly due to her short height and her parents wanted her to devote more time to studying medicine.

She has no driver's license because minors in Korea aren't allowed to drive. Even after coming to the world of Ninjago, she didn't get a license. However, she obtained one later after gaining motorcycle driving experience in Prime Empire.

Has a tendency to drive somewhat aggressively, threateningly, and at high speeds.

Has a small scar on the right side of the forehead. She got it after getting into a serious car accident while riding her bicycle aggressively... She doesn't have much memory of that accident.

Since being trapped in the world of Ninjago, she has been writing everything to keep from forgetting the real world she remembers.

She came to the world of Ninjago at November 2021, after her university admission test(대학수학능력시험).

Renée was an Apple product junkie. Afterwards, she had a great influence on the launch of Borg's signature electronic products, including BorgPad and BorgWatch.

She was captured by the time twins at Hands of Time(2017) along with Dr. Borg and did technical work.

She watched up to Season 2 of Ninjago in her real life, almost a decade ago. Although she didn't watch Season 3 of Ninjago, she had a younger brother, so she knew the general plot.

At the start of Season 2, she worked part-time at a high-end restaurant located in the central hotel of Ninjago City as a waitress.

In Season 2, she sought asylum in Ninjago and obtained permanent residency. In an alternative universe where assuming she couldn't return to the real world, she gain citizenship depending on the circumstances.

After steadily investing in shares of Borg Industries during season 2, her fortune significantly grew and generated a stable income, no longer requiring her to be employed for financial security.

Her property is managed by Zane.

Dragons fear Renée since she has disparate soul. This is why she couldn't ride Dragons and go back to reality.

The traveler's tea that opened portal to real life and trapped her in the world of Ninjago was expired one, and was a very rare leaf that can never be obtained again.

Since she is not from the world of Ninjago and is therefore unaffected, she remember that the ninjas went back in time and destroyed the golden weapons. At the same time, she also remembers all the events of Season 6.

Although she is heterosexual, she has a positive view of her bisexuality.

Despite not displaying any obvious signs of it, she struggles with severe depression and panic disorder. Due to frequent migraines, she has become addicted to painkillers as a coping mechanism. She takes a full dose of painkillers every day.

She doesn't enjoy drinking, but she is very strong to alcohol. She has never been drunk.

Her favourite is straight absinthe. However, due to the aforementioned addiction to painkillers, she can barely drink alcohol.

Although the ninjas had no idea since she rarely mentioned it, she had a younger brother. Contrary to Renee's small, toned, and fragile yet sharp and cold image, he has a larger, tanned, and more docile appearance.

She adored both Loki from Marvel's cinematic universe and Professor Snape from the Harry Potter series before encountering Morro. She also greatly liked Tai Lung from the Kung Fu Panda series.

Actually she did not like Lloyd very much because he was a clone of her favourite characters; Luke from Star Wars and Link from the Zelda series.

She suffers every summer because she is very weak to heat. Contrary, she's very strong to coldness. She looks most lively in winter temperatures that are above freezing.

It was rather in a divine and unsubstantial way that she conceived the ice dragon Boreal as the Ice Empress in Season 11. Scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitzu's strange powers caused her to lay egg instead of having actual pregnancy and foetus.

She barely remembers anything from Season 11, thinking of it as a forgotten nightmare or a long sleep. This is partly because she became emotionally unstable after living in a dangerous situation for 60 years, but also because Zane used the power of the Forbidden Spinjitzu Scroll to freeze and seal her memories for her own sake.

Her portrayal as the 'Prima Donna' in Season 12 of Prime Empire draws heavily from the character of D.Va in Overwatch.

Her gaming skills are heavily based on the Legend of Zelda series. Her special abilities are Z-Attention dodging, parrying, and Flurry Rush. Due to this, unlike the near-futuristic structure of the game, she has a much stronger advantage with medieval fantasy weapons such as spears, swords, shields, and bows.

She also prefers heavily armoured firearms that can fire multiple times. Usually armed with double shotgun.

Has a gaming skill specialising in "no damage". Playing in a clean and professional manner, closely following the royal road strategy, and attending to every detail to ensure the collection of all necessary elements are also seen as valuable advantages in her gameplay.

She mainly rides motorcycles. Through unique violent manipulation and strategic use, she holds various unbroken records in the racing games she has participated in.

She didn't participate in the Speedway Five-Billion due to Scott's dissuade. However, she is working as a model for the Speedway. This advertising campaign, featuring her as the main model, eventually led the ninjas to find her and be absolutely astonished to learn that she had ascended to global stardom within the realm of Prime Empire.

Her record at tutorial game of the Speedway is 05'05"05, also known as Triple 5 and unbreakable. Many people in Prime Empire are expecting her to be the definitive winner.

Her success in Prime Empire increased her popularity and she became the subject of much inappropriate fan art. She sued them all and benefited greatly financially.

(inspired by a load of other AU's I've seen but main one is by spinchips ao3 fic with zane having two diff personalities)

Zane and my boy Zayne! I mostly named ice emperor that because calling him IE just seems either too long or too short but onward to lore.

Lore

Timeline: Post-never realm when the ninjas came back to ninjago.

After zane got fixed up from 6 decades worth of damage and leftover ice that was stuck on his body, PIXAL asked if she could scan him, it was reasonable for him to be scanned and zane agreed since of course. Anything could've been on his mind, and maybe get rid of any rust here and there. But upon checking she found some old persona in him. Soon as she saw it she went to check the switch on zane.

And the switch was absolutely demolished, as it was close to where Zayne mainly added ice on, meaning that along with his other internal machines and the switch are very broken, PIXAL attempted to fix everything along with Jay and nya but the switch, was unfortunately unable to be fixed as it looked like to be the one part of zane that Zayne kept playing around with out of curiosity and the discovery of flipping it made him far less emotional. To the point it was to no use anymore due to decades of on and off and so forth. Giving zane a constant serious and Unserious and different persona's at all time.

The switch was vitle, and without it could make zane unfixable. So to take it off was just a lose lose situation. And therefore dear ice emperor Zayne became a second persona of zane. Though less hostile after seeing they aren't any harm to him and are in fact his friends, tho still very bitter lloyd technically defeated him by mere words and also Kai for his fire ability which opposed his.

Due to this, every ninja in the temple got used to zaynes sudden appearance even when they were talking to zane, both weren't so far from each other since zane and Zayne are passive, adaptable, hard to beat emotionally, and way too intelligent for robots. Though unlike before, Zayne still has the same voice since voicebox isn't connected to the switch and why his voice was so deep before when he was an emperor was because his voicebox was rusting. They would know if they switched, zayne = a little ruder than zane and zane = less quieter than zayne.

Personality

Zayne: he's far wiser than any of the ninjas, second to master wu due to him existing for 6 decades, and so technically he's older than zane.

His way of speech is different and due to speaking the language of the never realm so much, he has an accent. I don't even know if the never realm/ninjago is supposed to be Chinese or Japanese but I like to think Zayne would Have a slight old Japanese accent similar to master wu.

Knowing the ninjas are his friends, he's not as hostile but still is, talks unnecessarily rude to them when he feels like it, and his pride grows 10 times a day since he always shows up when it's sparring time, beating one by one since his knowledge at fighting is further than any of them, usually being alot more fierce when sparring with Kai, though being slightly careful with lloyd as lloyd always seems to back off if Zayne asked for a spar. So he'll be more gentle at beating lloyd compared to everyone.

When zane and the others have a conversation, sometimes the person they're talking to don't realize it's no longer zane they're talking with but none other than Zayne. Zayne and zane share a mind and are just as intelligent or more so in zaynes perspective but either way it's sometimes hard to distinguish them if Zayne isnt showing the normal differences with zane and as long as he controls his accent abit.

Zane: he isn't much different to Canon other than being more timid but due to also experiencing being the ice emperor too, he unconsciously talks alot more, and his morals are a little more cuckoo than before.

Whenever it is his turn to switch. He's alot more indecisive as he had vex for so many years and when he switches, hes always be greeted by zayne. his feelings for Zayne is complicated, he resents Zayne and he really doesn't like him but he can't blame Zayne much at all, because Zayne is him. They were still the same person before the switch broke, and if it wasn't, its his fault.

Hes usually in the kitchen, with PIXAL or with master wu. It's now uncommon for him to be with the other ninjas, and most of the time he is with them, he's very timid, he loves making plans with them but the fact he hurted them back in the never realm always came to haunt him, and sparring with them was even worse especially with lloyd, so he usually gave the job to Zayne with the condition he doesn't injure them too badly.

Though he's less social, he talks like a king, which is funny for the other ninjas, mostly because he uses alot of high honorifics on himself, sometimes accidentally calling himself emperor, by this point he doesn't even know how to stop it.

(also before closing, his appearance is different, and as much as it just looks like a mix between zane and zaynes style, it's just Zayne feeling uncomfortable wearing the things zane wears regularly and asked if zane could at least give harder protection even if he does know he and zane aren't human and aren't physically weak since they have tough bodies, by the end of the day zane was forced to ask master wu for some)
