last song i listened to: i can't stop listening to 1999 by charli xcx on CD while i'm driving, and then interrupting with commentary that i don't really want to go back to 1999.

favourite colour: i never know how to choose, but i'm going to say red right now.

last tv show or movie i watched: last movie was City of Trees which i watched last night with my friend when we decided we were both too tired to go climbing. there's something enjoyable about it.

currently watching: started the uswnt documentary tonight. still watching crazy exgirlfriend, xena, abbott elementary, and ted lasso slowly with a few different people.

relationship status: none

sweet, savoury or spicy: if it's got to be one it's got to be savoury.

current obsession: watching as much women's soccer as physically possible. leah williamson. rotating carly rae jepsen and charli xcx in my car stereo. yuri manga that's about adults. contemplating my return to crafts. this one mobile merge game.

last thing i googled: conti cup standings. but actually it was the definition of savoury which according to the online dictionary includes spicy.

Sounds you hate/love?

I hate the sounds of crunching gears, when you don’t put the clutch in properly. New one for me since passing my test. The sound of nails on a chalk board. The sound of metal scraping on metal (thanks Granddad for that one - he ignored us when we said he was too close to the wall on a multistory car park *shudder*, sound has stayed with me over ten years). White noise. 

I love the sound of jazz music, my clarinet when I play low notes, guitar riffs. Scottish accent. The sound of my phone alarm pinging to tell me that my food has finished in the oven (I have ADHD and dyspraxia so I can’t concentrate long enough and usually forget I have food in the oven if I cook without it). The sea, and wind on a summers day. Birds singing, and a cats purr. 

Do you drive, and have you ever crashed?

Yes I drive, no thankfully I have never crashed while driving. Nearly a few times but never actually crashed thank God. I have however been in a couple of slight collisions when someone else was driving though. 

Last book you read?

The last book I’ve actually finished reading was, jeez I can’t actually remember the last one I remember is A Picture of Dorian Grey but I know I’ve read two since that. I’m actually in the middle of four books right now, Gentleman Jack - Anne Choma, A Discovery of Witches - Deborah Harkness, Paper Ghosts - Julia Heaberlin and a Rizzoli & Isles book that I can’t remember the name of. 

Do you believe in ghosts?

Yes

Do you believe in aliens? 

Yes, the universe is massive. We can’t be ignorant enough to believe we’re the only intelligent life form. 

Do you like the smell of gasoline? 

Tbh, some days especially when I’ve got a migraine I hate it. But when I’m not so bad, I don’t really notice it. 

Last movie you saw?

Secret Life of Pets 2

Do you have an obsession right now? 

Yup, Gentleman Jack. My old obsession with Waterloo Road is back, I’ve been binge watching it on YouTube. Also I’m always obsessed with dancing. (Also obsessed with trying to get out of the hell hole I live in).

Do you tend to hold grudges?

Yes. Some people I’ll forgive, others I won’t. I think it depends on the situation.

I’ve seen you answer another question about Raf and JR having the same mother and you said that would be bad for many of reasons. What are some of the other reasons besides skin tone? Because I don’t think it’s a bad idea plus I think they’re going that way anyway. With JR’s Mom having Alzheimer’s she might not recognize him right away or remember that she has a son which will add suspense plus the fact that her and Rafael got along so well in the last episode could prove that they are related.

I’m not sure if you misunderstood what I meant when I said ‘white’. Rafael is played by Justin Baldoni who is Italian/Ashkenazi Jewish and Jane is played by Rosario Dawson who is Puerto Rican/Cuban/African. Casting them as siblings would be whitewashing Rosario and that’s more than enough reason not to even so much as consider it.

Now with the addition of this new kiss can you make a gifset of all the door kisses?? This marks the third kiss where Ann has her back up against a door. Two was a coincidence but three is a habit!

I agree that this is definitely not a coincidence @nikkupsticks although the thing I love about this one (from 1 x 05) is that Anne sort of walks her back and puts her there versus in the other two Ann strategically places herself against the door after having shut it behind them. And I kinda think that Anne is the THIRSTIER one this time and it’s clear that even though by this point they are having sex on the regular, it’s that period at the beginning of a relationship where the THIRST IS UNQUENCHABLE and even if on days where they’re having tough conversations they still CANNOT GET ENOUGH and Anne is totally WHIPPED at this point and sorry for all the CAPS but these are just the FACTS OF LIFE and that is why we were ROBBED to not have seen this kiss and I therefore DEMAND to see every kiss left on the cutting room floor, it’s my GD RIGHT as a lesbian.

(I realize that was more than one line but ironically that is one of my favorite passages from the book. Its one of those things that when you read it you wish you had written it because its so beautiful.)

Ever had a song or poem written about you?

Yes. When we were dating my wife wrote the most beautiful poem ever that literally brought me to tears. Having someone write something about you is one of the best feelings ever and I am very blessed.

When was the last time you played air guitar?

Um..... in the shower this morning llmfaoooo

Celebrity crushes?

Ehhh I love my favs and all but as for crushes I don’t really get those anymore

Sounds you hate/love?

hate > Nothing worse that an extremely large, loud crowd of people. I have social anxiety and get overstimulated easily just from people Im not comfortable with talking to me

love > Any song that I’m obsessed with. I will listen to the same album over and over again until I’m sick of it. Also the sound of my cats purring and my wife’s voice. 

Do you drive, and have you ever crashed?

I drive everywhere! Literally. I deliver pizza as a side job so I’m driving at least 15 hours out of the week. Also we only have one car so I take myself and my wife to our other jobs. For someone who is so anxious I rarely rarely have fears about car accidents. When I was a teenager I desperately wanted to learn to drive in order to escape my house because of the tension there, and I basically harassed my mom until she sent me drivers ed when I was 15 1//2, the legal driving age where I live. I’ve also never been in an accident besides one time a deer ran in front of me and I clipped it but there was no actual crash.

Do you believe in ghosts?

Hmm this is interesting. I don’t really believe that everyone who has ever died is necessarily a conscious being on this earth as much as I believe that someone’s energy can cling to certain places or things, and that we as living humans can feel loved ones who have passed in that way. 

Do you believe in aliens?

The universe is literally infinite as far as we know. I find it hard to believe that in all the galaxies there isn’t another form of intelligent life. When I actually think about how big the universe is it’s a little mind-blowing, and I think that really brings into perspective how limited the human race is in finding these other life forms. So yeah, aliens or whatever they are for sure exist. We just haven’t found them yet.

Do you like the smell of gasoline?

No and I don’t understand why other people do like it. 

Last movie you saw?

I really don’t watch a lot of movies. I binge tv but movies not that much. I think the last movie I saw was Us. 

Do you have an obsession right now?

If I didn���t have an obsession with something I’m not sure what my life would be and from the looks of my blog right now I’d say GENTLEMAN JACK.

Do you tend to hold grudges?

Oh God yes, it is hard for me to let things go once someone has really hurt me and especially if someone has hurt someone I love. I am a self identified pessimist so I tend to remember more bad things than good things. I know it’s not good for me but I clearly remember things even from childhood that were hurtful to me, and I find it hard to let go of things  that have left such an imprint on my mind.
