thank you everyone for your comments and messages, i wasn't expecting so many! i've had a great time reading them while i'm stuck in bed all week— surgery went well and i've been at home recovering since monday. no more big naturals!

Can we talk about the way it almost looked like Charles and Edwin could feel in episode 8? I'm not talking about the hand-on-heart hug thing btw, but the way that when the Principal leaves them both after a fleeting glance with both of them, Edwin pats himself down as if there was some new sensation. Charles does similarly once the night nurse leaves. I feel like it may be partly to do with them being allowed to move, but it was the night nurse who didn't allow them to move, so how come Edwin did that only when the Principal left. Idk man, it just seemed curious
