Meet Mr.Sanjay Londhe, from the G South BMC Ward. We would like to express our gratitude to him since even though the strap of the spraying equipment broke, he continued to disinfect our premises. He kept holding the other side heavy tank with a single hand. We salute such warriors who overcome many such difficulties on a daily basis, yet they are determined to do their job for the safety of the people🙏 #balasha #balashatrust #NGO #nonorofit #goodwork #charity #children #kids #support #helpinghand #doinggood #happiness #compassion #love #quarantine #covid19 #support #homes #stayhome #staysafe #gsouth #Worli #Mumbai #BMC #healthworkers #healthwarriors #salute #maharashtra #India (at Bal Asha Trust) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAXf5yqJh4I/?igshid=v5y7waooruwy

People usually forget to do basic duties such as compassion or help to other people who need support from us. We are too busy with our things that don’t have the time even to think about those people and our responsibility as a human. As a human, it should be our duty to help as many people as possible for us. This help can be of any type financial or emotional. For people like us who think we are too busy and can’t go to help people, they can donate to NGO.

Best Of NGOs in India: GoodWorks Trust
GoodWorks is an NGO located in Noida, India which has been working for the benefit of resources deprived children and disadvantaged sections of society since 2010. Our motive is "Lets do some GoodWorks". We don't believe that money is the mainstream of what an NGO requires. We believe in three types of donors, i.e. Time Donor, Mind Donor, Capital Donor. We appreciate and encourage you to come and spend time with us and our kids. You can celebrate a special occasion with us or plan some gifts. And even if not, then you can just come and spend some time with us. You can come and share your expertise knowledge with our children, and educate them about various topics, which you think might help them in life. All of us grow up with ample resources and no shortage of basic resources like food, electricity, etc. But these children born in poor households don’t have access to these and are often pushed into child labour to help their parents in earning money. In this way their education is often neglected and their potential is wasted. And lastly, you can sponsor a child with your money. What maybe a small amount for you will not be that small an amount for us.

NGO FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN INDIA
At least 35 million children aged 6 - 14 years do not attend school. 53% of girls in the age group of 5 to 9 years are illiterate. In India, only 53% of habitation has a primary school. In India, only 20% of habitation has a secondary school. Only 16% of women have access to the internet. There are 1.5 million child marriages in India, the highest in the world. Up to 10 million girls are at risk of dropping out of secondary education due to the pandemic.
Education is the greatest resource to prevent child marriage and poverty. Women and girls need basic computer education and internet access to escape poverty, rise above gender discrimination, and succeed in today’s increasingly digital and global workforce. Women's empowerment in its actuality is synonymous with the complete development of society. An educated woman, with knowledge about health, hygiene, and cleanliness is capable of creating a better, disease-free environment for her family. A self-employed woman is capable of contributing not only to her family’s finances but also contributes towards the increment of the country’s overall Gross Domestic Product (GDP). A shared source of income is much more likely to uplift the quality of life than a single-income household and more often than not helps the family come out of a poverty trap. Women who are aware of their legal rights are less likely to be victims of domestic violence or other forms of exploitation. Their inherent aptitude towards the organization and well-rounded maintenance of home makes them uniquely suited for political and civil leadership roles. Recent participation of women in political and social positions of power has seen a marked reduction in corruption in those specific areas which adds another advantageous point in favor of women's empowerment. The rapid pace of economic development has increased the demand for an educated female labor force in almost all fields. Women are earning as much as their husbands do, their employment nonetheless adds substantially to family income and gives the family an economic advantage over families with only one bread earner.
GoodWorks is an NGO, which is working towards this noble purpose of women's empowerment. We hold daily workshops for the local women, giving them basic knowledge, like what diet they should give to their children, to ensure their overall development, etc to ensure that they are at the very least aware of such things.
