I was confused for a second after Six Hundred Strike (my fav song in the Vengeance saga and maybe the entire EPIC musical) until I read a message in the discord that explained how Poseidon was defeated and like. Yeah that checks with a video game inspired musical.

TLDR of the message is basically, like we saw in the animatic during the live stream, Poseidon used his most powerful attack (Shattering Ocean I think it was called?) and got a cooldown bc it didn’t kill the annoying mortal lol. Odysseus had a powerup (plus the hc/theory he was being helped by Ares bc of the glowing red eyes and some stuff about how Jorge viewed Ares’ power set?).

Was not a fair fight when he had a cooldown can confirm from the multiple times I’ve been killed by the weakest enemies in video games bc I had a goddamn cooldown,

HI, YES, WILL DO :D!!! Okay, so, fun little thing, athena wont be here because I WILL be redesigning her, but not too much, just to basically match with Zeus a little more [favorite child moment.] For the most part, I basically try to put the branches that stem from the concepts of what they're a god of, like god of thunder and god of the seas, with both Zeus and Poseidon having elements of their environment. With Zeus' cloud hair and fluff, and his thunder like marbling on his skin, and Poseidon's water arms and fish features [the fins and black scales] Zeus' design wasnt as simple to think about as I thought, for the most part I kind of just dont put that much thought into it and think about it AS I go, I try to implement the leaves in other ways like his horns, and the MAIN thought in designing zeus is how much of a drama queen that he was that he'd want to make himself look more different than everyone else, my thoughts are pretty scrambled because i don't exactly know how to explain my thoughts in a linear pattern so im sorry if it cant be understood, basically just had idea after idea WHILE i was making him, his hair basically turns into his tail in the same design that Hermes has, just fluffier, AND his chest is charred/marbled with lightning coming from the center because power is where his heart lies. I wanted him to EMBODY, cockiness, king of gods energy, while also thinking it'd be funny that other than aphrodite he's the one with the most skin shown..just because. Poseidon's design was in similar existence with Zeus, but where Zeus was as big and puffy as his clouds, I wanted poseidon to be as sleek as water, his hair had to be waves that melded into the seas whenever he was in his element, and when he wasnt, his hair would flow to the floor giving the look you usually see in water breathing from demon slayer [image below] His hair flows in the same sense, while keeping its form for the most part.

Hermes! well, he kinda just came to me while I was doodling him, ngl I had to pull out google to figure out what hermes looked like the first time to get more than one idea, and decided that it'd be fun to make him more of a mysterious trickster of a mailman that is alot more threatening than he's let on, giving him a more 'biblically accurate angel' look with all the eyes came from the idea of him being a messenger and being able to go anywhere as quickly as he does, you'd never really know when he was or wasn't watching. I thought I'd just implement that more into his design, ALSO incorporate some spirity ghostly things mostly on his cape, just to make his role of guiding souls a bit more shown :3 APHRODITEEE Was simple, but a really fun thought, as the goddess of beauty and allat I wanted her to basically be as customizable as possible, marbling vitiligo with white hair, a canvas capable of change. She's able to mold herself as whoever you want her to be, and whoever she wants herself to be, but her main look is a dull pink with marbling vitiligo and hair so white you'd get blinded looking at her, I also added a bit to the dove look with her hair, making it look and flow like feathers whenever she moves.

Basically, again, all of my ideas usually stem from the concepts and branches of their titles, and my want to just make them all silly and pretty, i havent designed others yet but I hope this answers it! :D!

10 Anti LO Asks

1. Maybe this is just me, but in every story where Hades is the bad guy, you actually end up seeing his POV and why he’s the way he is, maybe even siding with him over the good guys, yet something like LO, which is destined purely to “make him the good guy”/“redeem” him while tearing everyone else down for his benefit actually makes him look downright evil, worse than any villainous depiction. Sorry, no amount of having daddy issues (which conveniently neither Poseidon or Zeus have) excuses him owning countless slaves, thinking he’s above the law, violently oppressing and abusing his citizens over any little slight or want he has, his greed, and creepy love for controlling young, impressionable women who he throws away when they finally grow a personality, and many other issues. Rachel wants us to look at this greedy, violent capitalist and see a good guy? That’s laughable at best, insulting at worst.

2. I kept up with the fast pass episodes just to see the train wreck but it’s so bad I can’t even bother anymore. There’s another Webtoon I read with good representation, romance, colors, and character designs and reading that masterpiece to then painstakingly read through Lore Olympus was like my own personal hell.

Like imagine making the past 7 episodes or so telling the audience how stupid they are for criticizing Hades and Persephone, and not using the basic knowledge of how court systems work in the court scene. I’d love to see her go to court and try to tell the judge he’s stupid and she’s justified for killing a bunch of people because she feels bad.

3. Okay the ask about Thanatos cucking his foster father is gold.

4. ngl, kinda funny the post saying the FAN voted ringo awards (so its basically a kids choice award, not a legit award by actual people in the comics industry) voted lo persephone "best hero" and the comments were almost entirely people questioning why shed be called a "hero" when shes a mass murderer and a bunch of people agreeing she doesn't deserve the title. idk if the tides are turning but critique/dislike of the series certainly seems a bit more present than it has in the past.

5. i severely doubt RS is keeping track of the plot at this point. Not only does she not have character sheets to keep colors or designs consistent, she also openly writes the week of for episodes, meaning it's very likely that minus basic ideas (hxp end up together. minthe "dies", etc) that everything is almost entirely made up as she goes, and it shows. the fact even the dedicated readers often can't tell what the plot is or what time it is is a bad sign in how she presents this information.

6. i agree with that other anon. LO already had a lot of issues, but it seems especially obvious now Rachel insisting she be a part of the fandom has seeped heavily into the actual comic, and it's gotten worse for it. Don't get me wrong, there are real criticisms Rachel should hear and hopefully fix, but instead she sees the critique and uses her weekly episodes to make up any excuse she can to justify her writing choices instead of fixing what she can. It's not just a waste of time, it's annoying.

7. LO stans are the wildest, they'll say every fiction has its share of flaws and then turn around and harass people who make even the mildest (yet absolutely valid) criticisms. You can be a fan of something and still criticise it, y'all know that right?

Also it's just hilarious that they'll complain about us 'antis' apparently just blindly shitting on this series and going out of our way to do so when in actuality, taking your blog as an example, I've seen nothing but a wide variety of criticisms and sometimes discussions.

There are both fans and non-fans choosing to make their opinions known here because you can't make a criticism of LO anywhere else without being talked down to, called stupid or something along those lines, or harassed, all of which I've seen on the webtoon comments and reddit.

I've seen and been part of my fairshare of toxic fandoms and LO stans really make this fandom one of the worst with everything they've done. 

8. This is like the most mild of criticism but why does lo have so many goddamn typos??? I saw someone mention this on reddit and another person come in saying RS had dyslexia and like okay well if she were still on discover then that's excusable but she's not? She's being paid for this? She's got an editor? She apparently has a proof reader? They should be catching all these typos before the chapter goes live.

Like there really shouldn't be an excuse to this amount of typos especially when you consider the fact people pay money for this

9. Y'all I'm gonna lose it, someone posted an info graphic of LO's timeline in the reddit and it's literally only been 4 weeks in canon and some people are commenting how that can't be right and it's not accurate because 'there have been so many scenes implying the passage of time' or how we just don't see them on their off days but??? There are literally so many people rereading to accurately gauge out the timeline and all coming to the same conclusion that it's been only a month????? Hello????? I am so close to just losing it this is so funny oh my god

10. When comparing Persphone vs Thanatos I’m being qualified in their fields verse nepotism, Thanatos was clearly a young child who couldn’t make his own decisions for his next step of life, his mother literally just dropped him in Hades’ Lap and left. Hades gave him that job and has complained about his performance, but like it seems like that is what he is the god of like idk of hades can fire him.

Persphone was technically a teenager  who did have choices. Hera signed off on it giving her approval but did that approval have to go through? Isn’t hades the king of the dead? Couldn’t he call Hera and he like “this isn’t a good idea since I have feelings for her” (which should be his first green flag out of the ocean of red ones to show he’s got half a mind not to mix business and pleasure AGAIN). But not just there, she gets the job winning at chess, (according to the gods is fine) she doesn’t know how to use a computer. Sure her training wasn’t the best, but Hecate said she was expecting more done by the afternoon and then we haven’t seen her work until after she kissed Hades and asked Minthe for help. (So we only see Persphone needing help for a job or just talking to someone but never actually working efficiently). And then to add another layer, she gets to see hades whenever she wants, she gets paid (which other interns haven’t been paid) but the narrative still says it’s not special treatment. Hades hasn’t even checked her work, or even made her work in probably over a year in real time. She’s just there.

Thanatos (child servant who has a bad relationship with foster father not doing the best at work) vs Persphone (handed mostly everything to her)

So, I’ve been getting into Lego recently (Understatement of the year) and at some point, I began brainstorming ideas for Percy Jackson mocs. At first it was typical stuff like the Princess Andromeda, or some cabins, or Festus. But as I began rereading the Camp Half-Blood series, I noticed that Percy had a habit of making giant fists out of water (Actually, I can’t remember if he did that in PJO or if it was exclusively a HoO thing) so I thought ‘Why doesn’t he just make a giant dude out of water?’. So I started thinking about how that would work.

Then I started getting back into Spider-Man and forgot I was reading ToA and noticed how there were a lot of mechs and vehicles for him in the Lego line despite Spidey never needing anything like that (Not that I mind it, giant spider mechs are cool). I think you can see where this is going.

So, uh, I started thinking about mechs and shit for the Seven (Plus some other characters). I want to go through each of them and the ideas I had for them. And I know that it wouldn’t make sense in canon and the closest we’ll get to actual mechs are automatons and Festus, but this is mostly for fun.

All right, ready? Let’s go!

Percy - Okay, so Percy was the first character I thinking up designs for. Obviously, I went for a design based around water, so it would mainly be cyan. I debated going for a horse or a pegasus at first since, y’know, Poseidon. But after a bit of hemming and hawing, I decided to go for a traditional giant robotic dude. It would have a gold trident for a weapon and a cockpit in the chest for a minifig to sit. It’s kinda basic, but I’d like to try and add more to it at a later point. If I had to come up with a piece count, it would ideally be around 600-700 pieces.

Annabeth - Annabeth was one of the hardest to come up with something for. I wanted to do something based around each of the Seven’s powersets, but Annabeth’s abilities comprise mostly of her brain. Eventually, I decided that she’d have a smaller, lithe mech designed for easy stabbing (Of course, it would have a big dagger as a weapon). Kinda like the smaller Spider-Man mechs. It would be gray in color, y’know, cos Athena, and would probably be about 150-200 pieces.

Jason - Bit of backstory before we begin. At first, I was only doing the Seven, and decided that Jason would have a lightning jet, then I got distracted thinking what Nico, Meg, and Thalia would have, and decided to switch it up for the Zeus babies. Since Jason is able to control the winds, I decided he’d get a wind vehicle and Thalia would have something lightning based. Eventually, I decided Jason would get a either a jet or a flying mech armed with air cannons. I couldn’t decide if it would be purple or electric blue in color. Ideally, it would be 500-600 pieces.

Piper - Another smaller mech. It’s not as small as Annabeth’s, but not as big Jason’s. At first, I was gonna make it pink, since I associated the color with Aphrodite, but I honestly can’t see Piper rocking a pink mech, so the color remains undetermined. It would have large speakers on its back to allow Piper to charmspeak from a distance, as well as cannons to loosely represent that fucking cornucopia. I’d say it would be, ehh, 300-450 pieces.

Leo - At first, I was gonna give Leo Festus and be done with him, but I wanted each character to have something that complimented their powers (And in hindsight, the giant fire-breathing dragon that spoke in morse code did that pretty well). Leo’s would be a fiery orange tank, although I’d also like it to have an air form. It’d be 500-600 pieces.

Frank - Ngl, I’m stumped with Frank. I was thinking of having it be large mech that could transform into a dragon, but that just wasn’t clicking for me for some reason. All I can say for certain at the moment is that it’s predominantly red and 600-700 pieces.

Hazel - Given Hazel’s control over the underground, it only made sense to give her a tunneling vehicle. It’d be either golden or purple in color with little jewels all over it. I wanted to do something that reflected her control over the Mist, but the best I could come up with was making half of it out of translucent pieces. 350-450 pieces.

Nico - Ooh, our first non Seven character. Giant black skeleton mech, without a doubt. There’s this set from Monkie Kid called the Bone Demon Mech and it’s almost exactly how I would envision Nico’s mech. It’d be considerably smaller than the MK set, so about 700-800 pieces.

Thalia - As stated when I talked about Jason’s, Thalia would have a lightning mech. Bright blue with some traces of gray/white to represent Artemis, Thalia’s mech would be armed with an electrified lance and cannons that shoot arrows. It’d be 600-700 pieces.

Meg - Unless I’ve forgotten someone, this is the last one I came up with. Of course, she’d have a green mech with a plant motif. It would have plants growing out of its hands to represent Meg using her abilities against her enemies. It’d be on the smaller side at about 200-300 pieces.

I wanted to make one for Reyna but literally the only thing I could come up with was ‘purple’.

There are honestly too many gorgeous interesting people in this game but I guess I can share a few opinions lmao

Dionysus is definitely my favorite God besides like Thanatos and Zagreus. He's just got everything, the hair, the body, the voice, he's so casual and talks like a stoner. He could take me out for some strong drinks, make me laugh, and then fuck me so good i go to Elysium afterwards. Also he openly says Theseus is a dick specifically for "ditching" Ariadne after she had helped him, so Dionysus also said Respect Women or Die.

Favorite Goddess is... that's tricky. Nyx is lovely and I actually have had an oc for like years who has the whole star-hair-aesthetic and I've always loved it ❤, I may have taken that from reading the Nyx myth actually... anyways,, shes very fashionable and graceful and wise, but she definitely is much more "inhuman" and ethereal than the other goddesses, so next in line I would actually say Artemis or Athena over Aphrodite. Artemis is relatable and hilarious; I gave her a nectar and she was basically like "ok but this is just as friends alright, time to go back to hunting" like mood girlboss, and Athena is, well, kind of the least petty violent God on all of Olympus, we all really appreciate her aid if it wasn't for her we wouldn't even get help from Olympus, and Aphrodite is gorgeous and I love her but she's also uh pretty dangerous with that emotional heart of hers 😳

In terms of the Gods, Hades and Zeus fit into the DILF category though honestly I always told myself I hypothetically met Zeus I wouldn't go within 100 feet of him in case he looked in my direction and got me pregnant, and Hades is so mean that nothing could happen there, lmao. Hermes is low on the list cause he's kind of just a friendly dude, and Poseidon is kinda uggo ngl and also what he did to Medusa was shitty. I guess my second favorite god besides Dionysus might be... Ares in terms of character design? He's kinda... scary hot 😳

(This was the night before my birthday) And then the next day my mom took us all to go watch a movie.
