#next year will be a big one

Four years. It's been four years since I opened this blog and promised to showcase my growth as an artist. To chase my dream of becoming professional and not just a hobbyist. I've practiced many styles, met many people who've taught me all sorts of things, both in this field and about myself. I've even opened myself up for commissions!

Although I've yet to fully transition out of my current job, I've still managed to earn a little with my art. I consider that a success, no matter how small. And I can only continue to grow from here.

Thank you, to everyone who follows me, who messages me, who leaves comments and likes and kudos. To all who have in some way, great or small, encouraged me to continue down this road. Trust that even the smallest gestures can have a big impact. The journey may not be easy, but I know in my heart that every step gets me a little closer to achieving that dream.

Cheers, to another year. May the next lead to further success. I hope to see you all there!

My health was struggling, my arm was (is) hurting, and I decided it wasn't worth it. I'd rather be slow!

Something that really sets Wille and Simon apart from other queer ships is that when we say their love language is physical touch, IT REALLY IS PHYSICAL TOUCH. And I’m not speaking of just sex. Over the course of the show, the amount of touching between them is astronomical. And that’s really something rarely seen in queer media. There may be moments here or there, but often times there’s a lack of physical contact unless it’s for “the plot”. Wille and Simon feel like a real couple in the way they’re always physically reaching out for each other.

i am so obsessed with how like. taken as read the ot3 are at this point. like on the one hand it feels like they've been building up to this for ages but on the other hand it kind of feels like i blinked and we skipped right past some Major Turning Point where everything got spelled out and we're just already in firmly Established Relationship-land. obviously tarvek is too well-protected for anyone to assassinate openly, look how angry his boyfriend and girlfriend are at the idea of anyone threatening him. at this point i'm half-convinced agatha's just going to refer to her boyfriends in passing to someone else and no one's even going to comment on it until van finds out twenty pages later and immediately starts making everyone pay up

I am attempting* to get my license now as an adult for autonomy reasons but crazy that no adults in my life for years respected my decision to not drive. No matter how many times I said “I’m saving money” “I’m fine with taking public transport” “I have good friends” or even “I have intense intrusive thoughts about killing myself or other people when I’m behind the wheel and my brain obsesses over images of car accidents to the point where when I’m actually driving if I see something that triggers a thought I am not capable of focusing on what is actually happening around me and I know that getting behind the wheel will put me and any passengers at risk” the response would be “oh ok. But like. Have you tried driving it really calms me down.” Wasn’t until I was 22 and my older manager asked why I was staying late after finishing a shift and I said I had to wait to carpool because I don’t drive and she was like “oh yeah, you’re fine, I didn’t have a car for years when I was starting out, it can be tricky but you’ll be fine.” Like thanks Queen. Teach me your metro tricks.
