I think some of the reaction to this last episode is why tv seasons need to be at least 13 episodes again. TV is all about giving space for characters, not about creating a super tightly plotted story where every second is precious and a minute for one character is a loss for another. Especially a show like Agatha All Along. It’s a perfect character driven TV format.

off the top of my head the top 5 lestappen moments of 2024 are:

monaco gp hug: charles winning his home race (he’s not only the prince of monaco but also the breaker of curses that’s my future wdc right there) and to make it even better their hug (the first ever recorded proper lestappen hug) the whole moment speaks for itself. the way both of charles’ hands were around max’s waist and his chin laying on max’s shoulder and the smile on max’s face the way they were both grinning like teenagers in love after the hug 🥰

max’s abu dhabi wdc party: what in the gay heaven was that? the whispering to each other over the vip balcony fence after charles left his mom and his bff pierre in another party to come be with max because of course why not? the kissy face max was making at charles (we don’t know who it was for but let me be delulu in peace, thank you) did max take him home too?

the fia gala in Kigali: the back and forth gay session with carrier pegion oscar (“charlie come sit next to me.” “ no. you come sit next to me.” “oscar, please tell your father i need him to come sit next to me.” * confused oscar who just wants to listen to the boring presenters an be left alone conveys the ridiculous message, twice* “oscar, tell him i said i am not leaving my seat he can come sit next to me too”) the most hilarious thing is does lando know that his alleged paddock bestie wanted him as far away as possible so he (alleged paddock bestie) could sit next to his husband charles. btw didn’t charles keep saying he was second in the championship? was it his ploy to sit next to max or? i need answers. not to mention the way the camera keep panning to the other when one of them was on stage 👀

miami gp: (just everything about it. the podium, them riding in the same car because why not when they literally each had their own, charles posting max of main!!!!!

brazilian gp: hello????? charles being there for max the whole weekend and him never leaving max’s side at the drivers parade) with pierre third wheeling them then max winning the race 😘

okay anybody who got mad about the exposition last week has to apologize to me directly because most of this week was very much telling not showing and while it had more momentum it was also fairly boring all of that being said this is about what i expected for the penultimate episode of the season because they're not going to really hint at let alone give away the game the week before the season finale

going to chinatown w/my friend today I'm excited for my miso ramen & boba tea & mochi donuts + a nice long walk in tom ping park. I haven't gone anywhere but the corner store in like 2 weeks & I'm pretty sure that's why I relapsed so hard bc when I'm doing nothing but lying in bed, bored & depressed, the temptation to take more than my allotted dose is sooo hard to resist
