Rated T | Fantasy AU | c!Dream Team-centric
Fic Summary:
When he’s falsely accused of necromancy, George is forced to flee Manberg in an attempt to avoid his execution. His goal? Stay alive long enough to reach Kinoko Kingdom, where he will be granted asylum. On the way, he meets Sapnap, a fugitive who’s wanted on accounts of arson, and later Dream, a mysterious masked stranger who calls himself a traveler. The trio embark on the journey together, but things go sideways when they learn that Manberg’s ruler, Emperor Schlatt, has blasphemous plans that threaten to shake the very balance of the realm.
Without further ado, here's chapter 8 of Withering Heights!!! This is the second to last chapter, and I already know that next week is gonna feel so bittersweet when I finally post the last chapter haha. Well, now's the perfect time to start reading or to catch up in the fic, because we're almost to the end now.
Also we've officially passed 100k words, which is just. wild. I actually can't believe I wrote this much lol.
Thank you to everyone who's been reading and commenting so far. I'm beyond happy that people are enjoying this fic and this universe. This fic is like my baby lmao I'm so proud of it haha. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the chapter <3

As tempted as I am to inquire about the part 2 of steddie break-up (I can't remember the part 1, I feel so bad), I gotta go with asking for Mean!Eddie Post Season 4 AU I am loving it and so looking forward to the next chapter (can't wait to see how the two of them work it out) Many kudos! 💜
Thank you for the push my friend! I am definitely writing and editing a little bit every day now and this 3rd chapter is sitting at almost 7K words so far and it is not done yet 😳 (at this rate for 2023 I think I could maybe hit 100K words written in one year -is that too lofty a goal?)
Mean!Eddie coming up!
***
Steve waves and makes his way to the driver's side door, ignoring the way Eddie's eyes follow him and the downward curve of his mouth.
He opens the car door and lets it shut, allowing the chaos of noise and teenage yelling drown out the guilt that followed him into the car.
"So," Dustin says from the back as Steve collapses into the driver's seat and buckles in,"are you sure you guys are good?"
(I know it's only the three sentences but now I'm super worried about spoilers haha!)

🍉 Do you prefer to write short fics or long fics? Multichaptered works or single ones? Why? 🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated? 🍌 In your opinion, what’s the funniest joke/reference/pun you’ve made in a fic?
Thank you for the ask, nonny!
🍉 Do you prefer to write short fics or long fics?
Shorter fics! They're also what I prefer to read. Longfics with 100k or more aren't really appealing to me. I'd rather read fifty one-shots with 2k words.
Same with writing. I don't enjoy writing filler content or stretching the plot to reach a certain wordcount or chapter goal, or to string multiple unrelated plots together. I think, for me, it's more interesting to explore what I want to explore, and move on to the next idea.
🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated?
The Loneliest Number and Maybe We've Changed.
Both are angsty, which is not what this fandom likes at all, haha.
I honestly thought they must've been kinda shit and maybe I've wasted my time writing them and shouldn't have published them, until my writer friends found them and restored my confidence in my writing. xD
🍌 In your opinion, what’s the funniest joke/reference/pun you’ve made in a fic?
"There's an app for that" in this (explicit) chapter. I kept chuckling to myself, and I was over the moon when a commenter said it made them laugh!

✨ Fic Writing Review 2023 ✨
@aurorawest tagged me in this an age ago but there was always a chance (however slight) that I'd maaayyybe finish something else before the end of the year (I did not) so I held off. But! It's time for the 2023 review.
Words and Fics
103, 870 words posted
Technically only 1 fandom, but then like...3 subfandoms? (Star Wars: Fallen Order, Prequels/JA-era, and A New Dawn/The Last Padawan)
14 fics
1 ongoing WIP, 2 multi-chapter, 10 oneshots, and 2 chapters added onto my OC repository, 2 series
most recent drop: we are made of our longest days
longest: technically the whole of the dark ocean duology at 50,304 but also just part 2: to stand at the edge of the sea (25,752)
shortest: found a tape that was blank (1,392)
Top Fics by Kudos
closure, and the lack thereof (98)
omens and all kinds of signs (72)
with teeth, we've come this far (66)
(dark ocean duology) part 1: the deep sea is a haunted house (63)
(dark ocean duology) part 2: to stand at the edge of the sea (59)
and some love for the bottom 5 because my favorite is among them: 1. a shadow resides by night (13), 2. follow me into the endless night (16) 3. p.s.: wipe the salt off of my skin (30), 4. I feel like I'm borrowing all my time (33), 5. take in a breath, fill your lungs (34)
My fandom fic events in 2023
just the usual whumptober taking up most of my autumn
Upcoming Events and Projects for 2024
for 2024 I think I'm going to try out like a 'leapfrog' method, where I focus on finishing a first draft, then let that percolate while I work on the next first draft on the list, then backtrack for the second and so on...I think this makes sense. I liked focusing on one project at a time last year and I'm hoping that gets me to make progress on the 4-parter that I really, really want to write and keep putting off.
omens and all kinds of signs (chapter 3)
manipulation/hostage thing (?) (part 1)* - I really need a better working title for this, this is not actually describing what's going on
the haunting presence / serial (part 4)**
the haunting presence / serial (part 3)**
manipulation/hostage thing that turns into an undercover thing (part 2)* - god these working titles are just so pithy aren't they
the haunting presence / serial (part 2)**
the haunting presence / serial (part 1)**
omens and all kinds of signs (chapter 4)
We'll see where that brings us in the year....and if I get derailed haha. If I make it through this I have a sick!fic in development and a myriad other bullet points of vague ideas, inspiration lightning might strike on one of them.
Last word: I spent the first third of 2023 so convinced I would never write again and in a not-great place, to clear 100k posting on ao3 was truly a relief and sharing all of this with you all has been a joy. Thanks for being there and I hope everyone has a happy New Year!
Rules & Tags below the cut! ***(ok let's be real, you all know me, I didn't actually tag anyone because I'm a mess of social anxiety and I always feel like I'm bothering people with tags (even though I am NEVER bothered by tags, but I can't apply that to myself for some reason, in my own mind I'm just uniquely annoying, but we don't have time to unpack all that--) but anyway, I put the rules there and the summaries for the two mystery upcoming fics if you want to see those or reference the rules!
Rules: Feel free to show whatever stats you have. Only want to show Ao3 stats? Rock on. Want to include some quantitative info instead of stats? Please do this. Want to change how yours is presented? Absolutely do that. Would rather eat glass than do this? Please don’t eat glass but don’t feel like you have to do this either.
I am too shy to tag anyone but if you're looking for an excuse to post some stats and goals use this as an open tag!
That should probably be one of my '2024 goals' to get less shy. ah well.
*This is a holdover from the 'psychological' whumptober prompt, I started it in October but knew it deserved more time and energy that I could give it on a deadline. The sort of core of the first part is my take on a 'fandom staple': the Haxion Brood finally gets the jump on the crew and they get entangled in a plot that's perhaps unnecessarily complex due to the interference of a...like 'HR consultant' Sorc Tormo hires, who attempts to manipulate them into carrying out their dirty work. Part 2 (it's a duology again folks!) picks up a bit after the end of part 1. Because to get out of the part 1 situation they end up owing someone a favor, and the calling in of that favor sends the crew on an undercover mission to a super-secret Imperial construction project. Clearly still developing some stuff, I don't have a working title or a good way of summarizing events, but I have a lot of dramatic scenes and everything pretty well outlined.
**Ah, my four part serial killer drama that I have been saying I've been saying I was going to work on for months. Years. This is going to be my year, I swear it! 'Why are you writing it in reverse order' it just makes more sense to work backwards, and part 4 I have the most clear plot outline for. Yeah it's fairly straightforward in general, a mysterious serial killer stalks Jedi through 4 generations. Possibly inspired by My Literal Nightmare, aka 'someone is secretly living in your house' (aka phrogging??? I learned there was a term for it while doing research for nanowrimo, I just thought I was being paranoid and sleep deprived during an insomniac period a few years ago lol) (it's a long story haha). But yeah this mysterious murderer who seems to not really exist at all, and vanishes like a ghost for years at a time.
#writing wrap up 2023#thanks for tagging me! sorry I did not get over my shyness to tag anyone haha#please truly consider this an open tag if you've been waiting for one

Fanfiction Year in Review 2022
I fill this out every year. It’s become a bit of a tradition for me. Allows me to reflect on everything that I’ve written and kinda think about where I want to go next. And I like it better from the ask games because I don’t have to wait for asks to come in. ^_^
1 List of fics completed this year in the order they were finished:
Don’t You Know People Care? (Adrino oneshot)
When You Love Someone (Love Square oneshot Reveal)
Rite of Passage (Love Square multichapter)
Meddlesome Friends (Love Square + Meddling Nino oneshot)
I Needed You and You Weren’t There (Love Square onshot)
Restorative Justice (Core Five - Chloé POV - multichapter -features love square and friendship fairly prominently)
2 Number of words written:
Written: 99,297
Published: 64,582
This number irritates me. It’s SO CLOSE to 100k and I just didn’t have time in the last few days to throw myself over the edge. And there’s a one shot that I think only needs about an hour of focused work. But I guess that’ll have to be a 2023 fic! Haha! BUT it’s also way higher than I thought it would be even if it’s less than half I what I wrote last year (and I published about a third of what I what I published last year). And that comparison is probably why it felt like I wasn’t writing much this year. But my 2019 numbers were almost exactly the same and I was SO EXCITED about how much I wrote that year. Which just goes to show comparison is bad! And when it comes to comparing myself to others I think I’ve internalized that years ago, but apparently I shouldn’t compare myself to myself either. Because I KNOW why I wasn’t able to write as much this year, and yet, I still wrote! And that’s amazing!!
Those published numbers include four one shots, two multi chapters. And four multi chapter WIPs saw at least one update.
3 Your most popular fic:
Restorative Justice, which is bizarre. I started writing this one closer to the fandom peak three years ago. And at the time, this fic was my LEAST popular. Chapter 4 took me almost a year to get out. And then Chapter 5 did take more than a year, but when I posted chapter five I got a lot more attention here than on anything else I’ve written this year. It wasn’t a whole lot more than Ch 3 got when it was posted though.
4 Your personal fav:
It’s Still Right Behind You and I imagine it will keep being this one until I finish it. My goal was to finish it this year, but that didn’t even come close to happening. Last year, I managed to update this one pretty consistently each month. If I had maintained that pace THIS year, it would have been almost complete I think, but I don’t think I would have made it. It has about 14-16 updates left. So another year and some change? *crossing my fingers* But Restorative Justice is a close second because it is also deeply personal - just from a different aspect of my life, and I do have a few unpublished WIPs that I’m also super in love with that I hope I will get to share before too much time has passed.
5 Your fav scene:
It’s so hard to pick a favorite!!
Okay, I loved the way Chapter four of Yin and Yang extended the same scene at the end of chapter three. The way Marinette’s and Adrien’s individual revelations dovetailed together at that moment was just so neat!
I’m also really really really proud of the When You Love Someone reveal oneshot (which wasn’t ACTUALLY a oneshot - this scene is from Right Behind You chapters 6 and 9). This oneshot was essentially a love square break up chapter, but what I love about it is how much love there is in it from beginning to end. How much they care for each other shines through every part of it. I made myself cry multiple times writing this scene, and I can sometimes still cry when I reread it.
6 A fic or scene that challenged you:
It’s all challenging right now, but let’s go with Restorative Justice. As mentioned already, it took me more than a year to update chapter five of this fic, but we did it 50 words at a time!
7 A line of writing you’re proud of:
“I’m right here” - from chapter 3 of Rite of Passage. Here it is with a tiny bit of context:
“But that’s not the hard part.”
“What’s the hard part?”
“He was my best friend, and I miss him so much.” Her voice broke on the last word and her face crumpled into wracking sobs.
Adrien or not, he instantly pulled her into his shoulder, and held her while she cried herself out. He didn’t say anything. He knew that if he said anything at all, he’d tell her everything.
And he wasn’t sure how bad that would be. He couldn’t talk to Fu or even to Plagg for all that the kwami was six inches away as evidenced by the fact that the wedge of cheese had disappeared even though he had never laid eyes on the black kwami.
“I just wish I knew what happened to him,” she said, her voice cracking.
The pain in her voice broke him.
“I’m right here,” he said softly, placing a kiss on the side of her head.
This scene also has fanart! - by @botherkupo (I’ve been reading that as brother kupo forever... oops!)
8 A comment that touched you:
Look, I can never answer this question. There are too many. There are my regulars who have literally taken care of me this year as I struggled with moderate depression and then repeated illness (myself and my children). And there are the comments that let me know that something I wrote has an impact on them and that’s really neat.
An example from Rosalind2013 this past week on Restorative Justice:
This is one of my favorite stories now! Thank you so much for sharing!
I feel like I learned a lot. And I really enjoyed Chloe’s characterization here!
Really and truly, I think it’s often hard for us (or at least me) to think of “mean” people as being victims too. The things I learned are things that are going to alter how I interact with people going forward, and I really appreciate you taking the time to explain everything in your notes!
Like woah!! I’m floored and squealing!
9 Something that inspired your writing:
Honestly? Spite. Haha! I keep encountering takes or reading things that irritate me and that often inspires me to write a fic that does it the way I would want it to be in the world to counter that perspective. But most of the spite writing I’ve done this year has yet to come out. So hopefully, ya’ll get to benefit from that in 2023! :)
10 Your proudest accomplishment (that one scene; finally finishing that one fic; posting your first fic; etc):
Honestly, the fact that I wrote anything is kinda amazing. 2020 and 2021 were really good writing years for me (like insanely good), and it’s been frustrating to not be able to maintain that flow. I spent the first half of 2022 in a barely functional level of depression and the second half taking care of sick children. People keep telling me that I don’t have to feel pressured to write - that we all need to take breaks, and I don’t disagree. But writing for me has always been one of my biggest coping tools, and this year, it felt like I couldn’t rely on it and it always seemed like a bad sign to me when I wanted to write and had time, but couldn’t do it mentally or emotionally. Every time I think I’m back in my writing groove, my life explodes again. So here’s me wishing and hoping that things actually stay calm for like the whole next 12 months! (It’s likely a pipe dream, but one can hope).
11 Do you have any writing goals for the next year?
I want to start making progress on Right Behind You again. I had a setback where I wrote a chapter and found it narratively redundant and scrapped the whole thing which was discouraging and made it hard to start again. And I really want to update each of my current unfinished WIPs at least once (hopefully more than once!), and get out some of these unpublished love square WIPs that I’ve been sitting on. (And maybe an Adrino one as well!!) Basically, I want to do all the writing! Haha!
But my main goal is really just to find my writing groove again to be able to use writing as a more reliable mental health support and creative outlet. Wish me luck!!
Happy New Year Everyone!!

Weekly Writing Update #70 (November 5th, 2023)
Well, hello! How was everyone's Halloween/first week of NaNo/Daylight Savings? The first week of November is a MESS, haha. I'm pretty pleased with my writing for NaNoWriMo so far, although I'm not quite at my word goal (I want to write as close to 100K words as I can for NaNo, which means writing double the daily word limit for it. Currently I'm at 9979, which I'd like to be at 16000+ and once I finish here, I'm going to be working to get closer to that. I did finish the first chapter, which is now on the google docs (please let me know if you'd like the link to read it!) and I'm well on my way with the second chapter. I'm hoping to hold to this schedule this week because it's working pretty well for me! Anyway, as I said, I have a lot to do tonight so I have to go. Hope everyone else's NaNoWriMo is going well, and I'll be back next week for another update on it!

Annual Writing Self Evaluation 2021
Thank you to @brightgolden and @twopoppies for tagging me! Loved reading yours, this is so fun :)
1.Number of stories posted to ao3: nine! (Would’ve been ten if I’d have finished editing my upcoming one twelve hours ago haha)
2.Word count posted for the year: 314,760 honestly more than I thought
3.Fandoms I wrote for: one direction
4.Pairings: Larry
5.Story with the most kudos, comments, bookmarks: Violent Delights won all three!
More questions below ⬇️
6.Work I’m most proud of (and why): honestly this would’ve been violent delights a few months ago but the drabble series has been the most challenging (and therefore most rewarding) thing to work on. I’m pushing myself with every chapter to try something new and upload it in a timely manner and it’s unlike anything else I’ve done this year.
7.Work I’m least proud of (and why): Just in terms of writing and characterisation and work put in, slip into your arms was the only one this year that I didn’t “try” that much on, but people seem to enjoy it anyway which is lovely haha. (Maybe it’s just the lack of angst that made it feel simpler lol)
8.Share or describe a favourite review you received: honestly it doesn’t matter whether the review is bad or good, long or short, it always genuinely makes me inspired to read comments and keeps me writing. But since I hate to give a non answer: comments that quote parts of the fic and give their reactions/thoughts to those parts bit by bit really make me happy.
9.A time when writing was really, really hard: I can’t think of a time in my life when writing isn’t hard but there was a gap between fics from February to July when I couldn’t do much of anything. It was a really bad time for me mentally but I came back with my biggest fic of the year so maybe the break was a good thing?
10.A scene or character that you wrote that surprised you: Harry’s whole character in imagines just sailing (away, away). I wasn’t even planning on writing this fic but the song just tossed me right into it. The Italy hotel scene with the costume was something inspired by a friend’s own experience and them letting me add it was very unexpected, but finishing this one felt important to me.
11.A favourite excerpt of your writing: (I’ll try to keep this as minimally spoiling as possible) the Jupiter chapter in the drabble series, there’s a scene near the end when they’re sitting in the doorway of the house. This scene was one I’d had pictured months ago, and was the original thing that made the idea happen. While writing this scene it also inspired me to continue the fic and start working on the sequel (which should be coming in the next month or so). There isn’t much dialogue and it may not seem like a lot, but it’s sort of the foundation for the au as a whole.
12.How did you grow as a writer this year: I tried my hand at scheduled writing (violent delights) and it’s something I’ve never seriously dared to do before, seeing as my inspo to write is never consistent nor is my will to edit (I don’t use betas), so it was a lot of work, but clearly it paid off!
13.How do you hope to grow next year: I hope to try a longer fic again. I have a few ideas, nothing concrete yet, but I want to overstep the longest word count I have on a single fic (100k) and post something even longer, with a world even more detailed, and even more thought out. It likely won’t happen for a long time, but it’s still a goal I have.
14.Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc): Dunno if this counts as a real answer but music. I listen to music 90% of the time I write (usually classical) and it helps me focus and flow so much better, and I truly don’t think I’d write as often or as much if I didn’t have it.
15.Anything from your real life show up in writing this year: I mentioned this in the authors note, but nearly every single bit of Deux Fantômes. It’s probably the most personal fic I’ve posted to date.
16.Any new wisdom you can share with others writers: Don’t focus so much on making everything perfect during the first write through. Even if it feels bad, write it anyway. You can fix it all later, but I’ve come back to shit I wrote while pissed at 3am and sometimes it’s honestly better than my usual writing haha
17.Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year: I have a good few fics I’m working on right now, but the sequel to Jupiter is the one I’m enjoying the most at the moment and it’s turning out to be longer and longer the more I write. I just really like aliens I guess haha. Other than that I’ve got one coming either in the next few hours or tomorrow, depends on when I post it, and it’s one I’ve had finished since November!
18.Tag some writers whose answers you’d like to read: I think everyone’s probably done this by now but I tag those of you who probably haven’t been tagged. Tag me in your posts I’ll reblog them <3
This was really fun, can’t wait to see what the 2022 post will be like! Thanks to everyone to gave feedback, kudos, reblogs, etc this year, it really makes me feel good!

Gnarf’s 2020
and what a fucking year that was... Anyways, let’s talk about the good things, shall we?
I made it through 2020 alive and without going insane! Yay! So lets see what else I did. (This is a long post)
In the beginning of 2020 I said I won’t participate in many fests. Only three or something like that. Lets check how that went!
Fests Gnarf participated in: 9
@lockdownfest @lcdrarry @hd-wireless @hpfluff-fest @hd-hurtfest @hd-fan-fair @hd-erised @gameofdrarry in drarropoly @wireless-festive-minifest
Haha yup, three. Sounds legit. I also wandered off to try if I can art! No worries, I gave that up :D Mad respect to all Artists, arting is exhausting and the progress is too slow for me.
If you really want to check out my attempts, here’s what made its way onto AO3:
Dont Blink! for LCDrarry, it includes the Angels from Doctor Who and was a pain in the arse.
If you knew... was made for H/D Wireless and has the armiest arm i ever saw, very proud of that one. Its also the last thing I made.
Home Sweet Home was also made for H/D Wireless, and the first bigger art piece I tried my hand on.
A muffled groan which is rather explicit and I entirely forgot about making it :D it has a ficlet going with it too.
(I think theres other Art stuff here with the tag #gnarf draws or something)
I reached my yearly goal of writing 100k words once again!
Fics and Ficlets I wrote this year: 20(ish)
Better Side of the Bed (Lock Down Fest, T, 2k)
It was all Malfoy's fault. Harry could be at the Burrow right now, but instead he was trapped in Malfoy's tiny flat. All because that dick couldn't stop bothering him about a stupid life debt he didn't even care about.
Doing What's Best (G, ~800 words)
Lucius looked down at the little bundle currently sleeping in Narcissa's arms and felt terror shoot through his body. A little boy, his hair so white it was nearly invisible. Born only a few hours ago, taking his first breath in the light of the rising sun. Narcissa had whispered a welcome, her eyes wet, her smile bigger than ever. But they both knew, even though temporarily safe, he really wasn't. Draco was born into a world ruled by war. If only it'd end soon.
I better be hallucinating this (T, 3.8k)
After the war Draco Malfoy is sentenced to Azkaban for a really long sentence. Apparently aiding in Dumbledore's death overrules any argument Harry could put up for him. After the trial, as the days pass by, Harry is more and more outraged at the sentence. He can't stop obsessing over the fact that Draco Malfoy saved his life and aided him during the war and is very much capable of redemption. Not to mention that Malfoy has always been a delicate git and would never survive Azkaban. After a few weeks obsessing Harry decides that Malfoy indeed can't remain unjustly in Azkaban and starts to plot a way to break him out of jail and hide him in Grimmauld Place. When Hermione finds out she's not amused. Ron is horrified. Draco still thinks he's hallucinating.
Keep Holding On (Wireless, M. 33.333) A collab with @maesterchill who surprised me with lovely art for it!
After the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry and Draco both fall into their own battles with their mental states. Draco is sent to Azkaban, and Harry turns to drinking, hoping to forget. Months later, Harry visits St Mungo’s new ward on the request of a friend, only to find Draco in a deep vegetative state. Not willing to give him up, Harry stays by his side, while simultaneously dealing with the Ministry's newest grand idea to make everything worse. Making new allies, and losing old ones along the way, will hopefully be worth it in the end.
Age is just a number (Fluff Fest, T, 1.5k)
Married for decades, their life is perfect. Until Harry gets a call and hears the following words: "Mr Potter, we caught your husband stealing ten large packs of King Sized condoms."
There was still hope (Hurt Fest, M, 3.1k)
Draco winced as pain shot through his leg with every step. This secret, back-alley laboratory had been his last chance, last hope, to find the potion. But nobody had it in stock, and there was no time left to brew it himself. Panic was slowly overtaking his entire mind as he crept out of the store and back to the nearest alley to Apparate back home. He already felt off, and it was still early in the day. Of course this thestral-shit had to happen to him, of all people. As if life wasn't bad enough for him already.
Desire (E, 1.7k)
"Auror Potter, what a pleasant surprise to meet you here. What can I do for you?" "Stop the show, Malfoy. There's no one around, and I'm not here as an Auror." Draco watched Potter move closer until they were nearly nose to nose, only the small counter of his shop kept Potter at distance. Potter's eyes were dark with something Draco couldn't exactly name, his face was flushed and the air surrounding him felt somehow static. Draco felt the urge to lean further over his counter, to drink in his sight, to touch the man on the other side—but he didn't.
Drarropoly 2020 currently holds 7 ficlets and is in a Series. The highest rating is Mature and its 3.2k in total at this point.
Let's not wait for France (Fan Fair, T, 17.7k)
All Harry had wanted from his Eighth year at Hogwarts was a little peace and a little privacy but, from the moment that he stepped onto Platform 9 3/4, it was obvious that nothing was ever going to be that easy. An accidental bond with Malfoy that resulted in them having to stay together at all times was the final straw. Things couldn't be worse. So much to a quiet year in Hogwarts.
Love letters for the oblivious (Mini Wireless, T, 716 words)
Draco had gotten the strangest letters all week long, which wasn't what anyone needed at Christmas. Especially not him. Either someone was taking the piss, or he had a very dumb and inefficient secret admirer. And Draco didn't know which would be worse.
Double-Booked (Mini Wireless, T, 2.1k)
Finally, peace and quiet, and— "Malfoy?!?" Or the one where Harry thought he could enjoy a quiet Christmas far from everyone, just to find out that the cabin he had booked already accommodated another guest.
The best Christmas he ever had (Mini WirelessT, 1.9k)
Christmas had never been less appealing to him than this year. That was until Arthur Weasley showed up at his door, dressed as Santa, inviting him to the Burrow.

No pressure or anything but could you maybe give us a release date for Bite Me? I mean, not like an exact date or anything. omfg i'm so weird rn but I can't help it. I'm buzzing with anticipation i stg akjaksjkakaj pls help
Hahahahah oh my gosh, first of all anon, I love you, you’re hilarious, and thank you for making me smile today. Your hype is SO contagious and I hope the fic is everything you want it to be and more!!
I can’t give you an exact date because a) I don’t have one and b) I am still playing chicken with 2021 and speaking a desire into existence feels like a monkey’s paw curling directly behind my neck. I have a goal in my head, but whether I’m able to accomplish it is largely dependent on the rest of the things going on in my life. I can say that I’m...writing the ending that got me to write the fic in the first place atm, so for me, it feels like the home stretch. That’s not to say there isn’t still a bunch to do, but in comparison to the rest of the 100k+ words, it’s definitely less!!
But!! I don’t want to leave you hanging, because I do have a plan, so here - have my spoiler free timeline for the rest of what I need to write. I hope it tides you by!
To write: Finish current scene —> next scene —> Next Scene —> neeeeext scene —> the most next of scenes.
NOTE: if Specific Event does not fit in neeeext scene or the most next of scenes, add scenes 1, 2, 3 to Post-Previous Event and adjust following scenes accordingly. Possibly both in order to create Specific Event Revisited
Do final read through + edit
Break into chapters
No posting until Inbox (0)
Okay now you can post
There you go. Once I slot that all in with the rest of my life, we’ll be good to go, haha :>
#this was a cute ask thank you anon!!#asks#bite me#writing stuff#anon#ego boost tag#I love that you're buzzing that's such a fun way to describe it#kinomi talks

2020 Wrap-Up and 2021 Wishes
I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to do this or not, but I decided, why not? Even though this year was pretty wild for everyone in various ways, I want to celebrate my writing progress and accomplishments, and share with you what I wish for in 2021.
I’ve already posted a similar post on Reddit, although this one has a more detailed breakdown and includes my fic titles! I won’t link any of the fics mentioned, but you can visit my FFN or AO3 pages to find them. You can also click through my Welcome Post or find them all listed here (if you’re on desktop) (*every project I talk about can be found somewhere on my Tumblr :D)
Click below for some nice Fic Stats!! (mostly wordcounts and rambling!!)
Preview: I wrote a good amount of words, got some nice progress on some long fics, churned out dozens of ficlets!! Plus: What’s on my fic mind for 2021, and a short bit about other personal wins.
Before I ramble with numbers, I think we can all agree that we should say goodbye to 2020 this way:
Now, the numbers you’ll see are close approximations to how much I’ve written this year. I’m including works that I’ve published on AO3, FFN, Tumblr, and Reddit, and also works unpublished (and will post probably next year).
So, here it is:
Total Wordcount: 107,662 words!
Dang, I wrote a lot more than I thought. I think there was one year that I wrote 200,000 in a year and I’ve always set that number as my standard. But I’m still pretty happy with this year’s number! I think I’ll make 100K my “soft goal” for 2021 given how topsy-turvy life can go but it would be awesome to hit 200K again :)
And now, we break it down:
Completed Works (54,432 words)
2 Multi-Chaptered Fics (10,353 words)
Both happen to be Sorato! I posted the last chapter of The Sound of His Goodbye back in March (I started the fic late 2019), and I posted all of The Last One Wins towards the end of November. Both gave me reminders earlier and later on in the year that I can complete fics, haha! It’s possible!!! \o/
38 Ficlets/Scenes (19,667 words)
“Ficlets” don’t typically have a wordcount but are generally less than 1,000 words. I’d have to say that the impact of quitting my job, moving back home, and the pandemic brought on major changes and responsibilities that I had to adapt to. Simpler, smaller scale ideas were easier on my basket case of a mind and kept me writing, and that is most likely why for most of the year my inspiration was more drawn toward different little scenes. I got to write for and explore six new fandoms outside of Digimon which is cool!
When I say “scenes,” I mean those that either didn’t fit in the (slightly) larger works I’ve published, or those for future projects (which technically shouldn’t be counted as “complete” but I had to stick them somewhere :P).
9 One-Shots (24,412 words)
Day 6 Prompt of Takari Week just barely made it to be counted as a One-Shot, but the rest in this category are all Taiora: six for Taiora Week, as well as The Princess and the Dragon, and Colors in Distance. The Color Shot was actually sitting unfinished in my drafts for a few months so I’m glad I found the motivation to finish it before the year’s end. The other fics were inspired by prompts with deadlines - this was the first year I’ve participated and completed those and I’m happy I did them!
Works in Progress (53,230 words)
I’ve posted one new chapter each for Digital Recovery (4,770 words) and Tsukiakari (2,292 words) and I had the hope of working more on both of these this year! But you know, this year was tough (see also why I threw so many ficlets at my readers). I had three huge ongoing longfics and I made the decision to set these aside and put my main focus on one of those so as not to overwhelm myself. These fics are mostly planned out. They just need to be written more! We’ve got a long way to go with both of these.
Just One Drink (10,131 words) was.. probably my most popular fic this year, lol. I don’t see this one being too long (I would be surprised if it goes past 50K) but I see myself continue to update this next year. ;)
And let’s talk about The Spark of Dawn (DoreDore Adventure Part II) (24,316 words). This was my chosen longfic to focus on this year, as evidenced by the wordcount, and even the number of chapters I’ve posted - three with 10,659 words total. This fic also carried me through July’s Camp NaNoWriMo where I reached my word count goal of 12,000 words. I think two chapters from that event ended up being posted, and there are still 13,657 words’ worth of content yet to be published. Overall, I think half of this story has been written out (including the content I haven’t posted yet) but that being said, this fic remains as one of my priorities to finish before moving along to my other WIPs!
Here’s a list of the rest of my unpublished works:
Untitled Taiorato Fic (1,433 words)
More Taiora Snapshots (2,454 words)
The Girl Who Stands Out (7,834 words) - This one is a Mimato, and should show up really soon. ;)
2021 Wishes: My main wish is for me to *keep writing*!
I’m already making some pretty elaborate spreadsheets for myself to help track my personal writing and reader stats. Hopefully they help motivate me in my writing progress in 2021!
Toward the end of the year, I felt the need to “clear out” my plot bunnies folder and realized that fics from few ideas weren’t going to be as long as I initially thought. That’s where The Last One Wins came from, as well as The Girl Who Stands Out. I think once the latter is all written out, I will work more on DoreDore and see where it goes.
I want to tackle my “Write Your Melody” prompts, because since I’ve written them I feel obligated to. XD I’m sure there will be room for more ficlets and one-shots in next year’s endeavors; while it’s ideal to work on one big longfic until it’s done, I know for a fact that I’ll need writing breaks along the way.
Other Personal Wins (Not Writing-Related): This year, left a job and living situation that took a toll on my mental health. I also started to learn R and SQL programming languages. I was asked to be a moderator of one of my favorite communities! I made new friendships and a few of my friendships grew. And I found joy and comfort in things I hadn’t been able to in years’ past. I had a fair share of rough moments this year, but looking back at my small wins gave me reminders of the good I have. <3
If you made it to the end of this post, GO YOU. I’m optimistic that next year will bring more good things. I hope to continue remembering to take time to breathe and rest, and keep talking to my friends and loved ones. Many of my wishes are for long-term goals/projects in general, but rather than setting year-end deadlines, I want to focus on just working on them, my efforts varying between chipping away at them little by little, or hardcore-drop-everything-and-spend-the-weekend.
Anyway, thank you for reading! I wish you all the best as we head toward a new year. <3

june ‘20 writing progress
total words written: 18.8k
most words written in a day: 3,014
least words written in a day: 44
current yearly total: 103,883
projects worked on:
- finished editing & published my klance roman holiday au, “I know a place we can run”!! - spent like 90% of the month working on my sylvix fic which i have deemed the Forehead Kiss Fic ;) - i also got another spontaneous idea for yet ANOTHER sylvix fic which i made a ten page outline for so uh yEAH *sweats* - i think i maybe wrote like...one sentence of altea rising rip
june goals:
- finish editing and publish the roman holiday au by the end of the month…? - finish a draft of the sylvix fic - work on last chapter of altea rising - maybe work on some of my other wips i.e. the wangxian fic, red skies, etc.
july goals:
- write 30k words for my camp nano goal! - definitely wanna finish a draft of the sylvix forehead kiss fic, maybe edit & send off to betas by the end of the month? - if i finish that, i do really wanna start my other sylvix fic (which we’ll call....the Dream Fic) - um. i know i say it every month but like. maybe work a tiny bit on altea rising?? and/or maybe red skies if i’m feeling extra spicy - oh i also might continue working on this like klance Summer Romance fic i started like a year ago and never finished, just cuz i figure it’d be nice to publish it before the end of the summer and i don’t think it’s gonna be that long but idk
notes:
well i only accomplished one of my june goals, which was to finish & publish the roman holiday au. but hey! i published a novel-length fic that took me like a year and half to write so i’m not complaining haha. also i have gotten so many lovely comments & messages about it so far and i truly appreciate that. :’’) oh and i also passed a yearly total of 100k words so holy shiiit that’s pretty dope!
anyway, for most of the month i dedicated a majority of my writing efforts to the sylvix forehead kiss fic. i had started it kinda spontaneously towards the end of may, but i really got swept up in it and i’m having a lot of fun with it! like most of my fics it has gotten way way longer than i anticipated (it’s like, almost 20k and still going so haha oops) but i think at this point i only have like ~3 scenes left & i’m hoping i can at least finish a draft of it by the end of july, and ideally i would like to get it out to betas by the end of the month but haha WE’LL SEE.
and like ok i know i have a humongous stack of unfinished wips BUT....i got an idea for yet another sylvix fic one night at like 3am and then the next day snapped my eyes open like “wait...ACTUALLY...” and told some friends about it, we tossed some ideas around and BAM before u know it i had a 10-page outline for it lollll. so yeah, the idea really will not leave me alone and i’ve been itching to write it, so i will probably start on that after my other sylvix fic is finished!
otherwise haha idk we’ll see where the month takes me. at this point if i get to like any of my unfinished klance wips i’m like WOOHOO IT’S A MIRACLE but i do really want to continue working on altea rising if i have the time. and as i mentioned, i have this like fun summer-y kl fic i started a long time ago that i’m thinking about continuing so we shall see!!
oh and i’m doing camp nano with a goal of 30k words so yeah WISH ME LUCK!!!

2020 Writing Results!
Final word count: 200 133 words!
Only two days missed, at the beginning of the year!
A total of 24 works posted on ao3!
Way too many wips started haha
The app I use to track my daily writing tells me that:
Average of words written per day is 546
Average per month is 16 388
I wrote the most on one day on June 14th (4 043 words)!
Longest period I’ve written is 313 days for a total 180 177 days uninterrupted ✨
I want to talk about all this, so here’s a cut to make it easier to scroll past :’)
According to the posts I made on here about this, June was the month I wrote the most (25k!) and coincidentally, is also the month when I reached 100k! Seems right that the month in the middle of the year would be the middle of my word count haha
The two missed days were in February and because I was too busy with Fire Emblem Three Houses, which, Unsurprisingly, is what I wrote about the most this year haha
Of the 24 works I’ve posted on AO3, 20 of them are about Dimitri/Felix, 2 are about rareships in Bleach, and 2 are anonymous works I’ve posted for fe3h as well :’) Not a lot of variety then, but 20 works in a year is blowing my mind when just the past year, I struggled to write so much as a single work :’) It helps that some of these works are rather short, of course! But I still have longer works posted and that’s just as good hehe
Many of the wips I started will never lead to much farther, they’re just nice ideas to play with in my head. But! There’s also wips that I am DYING to write out, which usually ends with me writing multiple ficlets about them. Nothing enough to be posted, but enough to quell my thirst for them :’D
2020 is definitely the year I’ve written the most, either in all my life, or just in many many years; whichever the case, it felt GOOD to be writing. Writing is something I’ve been doing for so long and all those years where I could barely get anything out felt draining, honestly. What’s a writer who never writes? A miserable writer, to be honest :’D So this year felt like a revival on that side.
I’m so happy I managed to keep it up and played the game until the end, even when my entire being was like ‘noooooooo I don’t wanna this is such a chore’! Just a little push to get it done and over with on those days and then the next days usually went a little better haha 100 words a day seems like so little for sure, but sometimes it feels like a lot... And hey, in the end, I very often went beyond the 100! So I think 100 words is a good goal for me. Low pressure. Which is what I needed to write, I think :’) Less self-imposed pressure :’)
The conclusion of all this, in my mind, I think is simply, write. Let the words out, even if they’re bad, even if you hate every second of it. Let them out!!! They might inspire you later on to rewrite the idea better, or hell, you could find them good after some time away from them! But you have to let them out first! No more worrying about whether it’s good or anything, you write out those words!!
For 2021, I’m gonna keep at it! Who knows, maybe this year I won’t skip a single day :D I’ll have to convince my brain that not writing as much as in 2020 isn’t a bad thing to keep the pressure low, but I’m sure I’ll do just fine! After all, I did once, so no question if I can do it again ^^
#morgane's talking alone#im sorry for the blocks of texts under the cut lmao#I just wanted to talk about all this a little!! say some things#it's just for myself let's be right but hey!! if it inspires future!me it's good#dwg

Writing Tag
Tagged yet again by the lovely @ditttiii <33333
1. What is your ideal setting for focusing on your writing?
Ideally on a peaceful beach, with a notebook, and a pen that never runs out, with music. But that's not gonna happen. So more realistically, In my room, with my laptop, and some inspirational music.
2. What is your favorite genre to write?
Romance!!!! I write multiple genre stories, but the most prominent genre is usually romance. Fantasy romance, historical romance, etc.
3. Do you prefer to write on paper or digitally?
I think up and outline ideas and SOMEtimes start the story on paper, but I write mostly digitally.
4. It’s the middle of the night and you suddenly wake up with an idea. What do you do?
I've never woken up in the middle of the night with an idea, but I have had an idea right before I fell asleep. When that happens, i have a notebook next to my bed just for that exact situation.
5. Who is your favorite person to write about?
In general, it's whoever is in the fandom i'm most currently obsessed with. So when i first started this blog, i wrote a lot of bts and nct. Now, I'm writing a lot of got7. It doesn't usually matter who, though i tend to not write about someone i don't know well. Like, I avoid stories about Youngjae and Xiaojun since I don't know them enough to write.
Though currently, it's Yugyeom and Mark of GOT7!
6. Do you like making your own characters, or do you usually write about real people?
I like to make my own characters, but I write more about real people.
7. Have you ever written a book/story with more than 15 chapters (100K words)?
Yep. I've written a Harvest Moon: Animal Parade story of about 104K words.
8. How often do you get ideas?
It really depends. Somedays I get more ideas than other days. Ideas usually come around the most when I first join a fandom, when I read a particularly good fanfiction, or if I sit myself down for about an hour and really focus.
9. Do you ever get an idea that you really like, but just can’t seem to finish?
Definitely. I have so many anime and kpop fanfiction ideas. Even some of my published fanfiction now I have yet to finish. They're always the ones I promise sequels to, but seem to always be in a writing block for it.
10. What is your least favorite plot?
I don't have a least favorite plot; i'm not picky. However, I hate plots where they jump around from objective to objective and don't seem to have a clear goal. I also am not a huge fan of where the mc has to choose between romantic interests. It's not because it's a bad plot device, it's just cus I can't decide who I want the mc to be with haha.

2019 fanfiction in review
I usually put more effort into pimping my favourite fics of the year, boosting a few new writers in my fandoms, etc. This year, however, I have not, for reasons both within and beyond my control. Which is pretty much my excuse for not Doing Better with writing for the past month or so, but hey. At least there’s this.
.......................................................
1. Best fic(s) you read all year, and why?
How can I even begin to list all the beautiful, shocking, feel-good, feel-terrible-but-in-a-good-way, envy-inducing, page-turning, soul-destroying, fluffy, hilarious, infuriating and horny fics I’ve read this year? I can’t. So I will instead list three that come immediately to mind.
@curator-on-ao3 – The Dismissed Protocol (rated T, VOY, TNG, Janeway & Crusher)
This fic made me angry. So angry that I left a ranty and incoherent comment, slammed down the lid on my laptop and stormed around the house for a bit. Why was I so pissed, you ask? Because this fic hit a good few of my personal triggers around bodily autonomy and the right to make informed choices, and because although the fic ends triumphantly, it’s somewhat of a pyrrhic victory and it left a really bad taste in my mouth. Which, considering this is fiction, is the mark of some really good writing. When it comes to tackling difficult topics with a fresh and thought-provoking perspective, and without opting for the easy answers, Curator never disappoints. This story is just one of many examples of that in her work.
@love-in-the-time-of-kolinahr – it will take place without witnesses (rated E, DSC, Pike/Number One)
Okay so let me start by saying it was the author’s fucking EXCELLENT pun of a pseudonym that made me read this in the first place. Then it was the poem they quoted (Discovery by Wislawa Szymborska, which is like a portentous rocket in the guts). Then it was Una’s scales-off-the-eyes, we-are-true-equals, don’t-bullshit-me-lover candidness in the way she sees, talks to, knows Chris Pike. I adore Pike in his laconic-space-cowboy-with-a-heart Disco incarnation, I like him a lot as the CoolDad in AOS, but this fic? This fic gives me smart, forthright, deeply tender Number One, and Pike as the fractured and very human hero I hope like hell we’ll see more of because they are definitely making a Pike series RIGHT? It is written. Anyway… this fic is beautiful and harsh and deft and real and sexy and poetic and at its core it’s about love, and who doesn’t love love?
@captacorn – Stars in a Ruined Sky (rated M, VOY, Paris/Torres)
It took me a while to read this one because CaptAcorn was posting it at the same time I was writing my epic, and I had no brain space to maintain a hold on someone else’s dark and compelling plot. But when I picked this one up, I couldn’t put it down. It is AMAZING. A Timeless AU, set in a universe where Voyager crashed and most of the crew survived, this goes where no other 100k+ epic I’ve read before has dared to tread, and it does so without flinching. The details are what make this unforgettable – there’s no magic reset button, so when something bad happens to the crew, there are actual lasting consequences – but it’s the humanity of the characters (if I can use that word to describe a crew that includes aliens) that makes it unputdownable (fuck off, my nana said that’s a word). This is not an AU I want to think happened, but CaptAcorn makes it one that rings true. And I’ll definitely read this again when I have the emotional fortitude for it.
Wow, there’s no Janeway/Chakotay in my top three. What? So here’s a bonus:
Northernexposure’s trilogy – Soft Light, Aftershocks and Resolution (rated E, VOY, Janeway/Chakotay) – three for the price of one! I mean, when northernexposure posts a new fic I race to read it no matter what, but smut! Beautifully written, true to character, sexy sexy smut from one of my all time favourite authors! How could I turn that down?
2. Best fic(s) you published all year, and why?
Mmmyeah to be honest I kinda feel as though my writing peaked in 2017, but here we go.
Desperate Measures (rated E, VOY, Janeway/Chakotay and other pairings) – because there’s angst and smut and the plot is twisty as fuck and I feel like there’s a pretty satisfying payoff. And it’s really long and relies on the reader engaging with my OCs which people seem to have done, which makes me think that if I ever do want to go write another original novel, maybe I won’t want to burn it as soon as I’m done.
This Is The Moment (rated M, DSC, Pike/Tyler) – because these two have exhausting chemistry and I couldn’t not write this but it was hard to make it come out of my brain the way I wanted it. But I’m really happy with it.
And I have a soft spot for First Officer’s Log (rated T, VOY, Chakotay & Tuvok, implied Janeway/Paris), because I just really love Threshold, okay? And while the episode is wack on so many levels there are really dark and heavy themes to explore there which I feel have gone very unexplored and I hope my fic struck that same balance between moral philosophy and holywhatthefuckery.
3. Favourite opening line(s) in a fic you published in 2019:
From Bad Maquis (rated M, VOY, Janeway/Chakotay):
The only thing more restrictive – and bosomy – than this outfit, Kathryn mused as she stared at her reflection, was her holodeck governess costume.
Still, at least she didn’t have to leave her quarters wearing this getup, and thank goodness for small mercies. Because she was on the verge of backing down from this challenge as it was, and Kathryn Janeway did not chicken out. Ever.
I mean, it sets the scene, doesn’t it? Who doesn’t love Janeway in leather.
4. Favourite closing line(s):
This is maybe cheating a little bit because this fic isn’t finished, but this first chapter can stand alone and I won’t be continuing it for some time (first, I have to finish the two prequels, haha). Anyway, these are the closing lines from Inertia (rated T so far, VOY, Janeway/Paris and others):
When the daze clears and Tom looks up to discover that his hovercar is parked in front of an address he’s never visited but has nonetheless memorised, maybe he should feel a little bit surprised.
He doesn’t. No matter how far he tries to go or how long he stays away from her, turning up at Kathryn Janeway’s door is inevitable.
Why do I like it? Well, I have an everlasting appreciation for Janeway/Paris, for one thing. For another, if you read the rest of the story and understand what Tom has just learned, you’ll want to know what happens next. I hope. I sure want to know.
5. The fic that was best received, and your favourite comment(s) on it:
That would be Desperate Measures again. It’s my longest fic by far and I was absolutely bowled over by the response to it, but one of my favourite comments on it is this one:
It actually looks like Janeway is saying gimme and it cracks me up.
Honestly though… the depth and kindness of comments on that fic in particular, the time and thought and effort that people have put into their reviews … it made up for every moment I wanted to chuck it in and never look at that fic again, or any other.
6. The fic you wish had gotten more love:
Honestly, I was surprised there was so little response to my @voyagermirrormarch fic trilogy, Heaven in the Shape of Hell. I really thought they’d be crowd pleasers, but it shows what I know, lol. I haven’t even finished the third one because the lack of interest made me wonder if they were just really shite, but I’m not so butthurt about it anymore and I will come back to it someday.
7. How many fandoms you wrote for in 2019, and which inspired you most:
Does Star Trek in all its incarnations count as one fandom? If so, I wrote for two (Trek and Marvel). If all the different versions of Trek count separately, I wrote for seven (MCU, AOS (that’s Trek Alternate Original Series, not Agents of SHIELD), Disco, Mirror, Enterprise, DS9 and Voyager).
Anyway, I guess I’ll never stop being inspired by Voyager, so even if Disco season 3 and the Picard show do nothing for me, I’ll always have that.
8. Your favourite pairing(s) to write for:
I mean, Janeway x Chakotay, for sure. But I’m deeply, deeply invested in Janeway x Paris at the moment.
9. What you’re writing now/next:
I’m struggling through the second part of what was supposed to be my contribution to @25daysofvoyager. I’m actually going to post the first part once I’m done with this quiz in the hope it’ll kick my ass into gear. I’m also on semi-hiatus from Kinetic Friction, but I’ll be going back to it as soon as I’m done with my 25 Days fic. At some point after Kinetic there’ll be the sequel, and then the rest of Inertia. I’m also contemplating something for Threshold Day, possibly throwing something into @voytalentchallenge (don’t count on that one), and I have an idea for a pre-Enterprise D, pre-Voyager meeting between Picard and Janeway (with smut, obvs), plus all the other fics I’m definitely going to write …
And of course there’s my meat raffle. Time to pimp that one again. Donate to AO3 and if I draw your name out of the hat of randomness I’ll write you a fic to your specifications (roughly).
10. Writing goals for 2020 (word count? new fandoms/pairings? anything?):
Look, I’d just really like to actually write to some of the prompts I’ve had sitting in my ridiculously complex filing system without getting sidetracked by the newest shiny thing to catch my eye. In terms of fandoms, I hope I’ll write more for Discovery, I’m looking forward to Picard, and I would like to branch out from Trek a bit. More MCU, definitely, and maybe others if I get inspired. The main thing I want out of writing fanfiction at the moment is for it to continue making me happy, though, so I just hope I keep having fun with it.

I passed 100k words of my draft this week--
so i’m on track, given my average chapter length and what’s left in the outline, to only have about 50k more to go for a (very robust!) first draft.
given how much space is given to nonsense as i spun my wheels and flailed, i should be able to edit it down to 120k AT LEAST
(cutting the first draft shorthand of having every character loudly declare their feelings and backstory will also help that goal haha)
i cut a bunch of rambling here because i was boring myself but!
basically this whole project is feeling more like something i will be able to someday point to and that is very exciting and i am excited about it!
NOW the mad race to finish before my birthday or at least the writing retreat both next month
