Happy quarantine Easter everyone!
Took this as an opportunity to go for another run and do another indoor workout. I decided to challenge myself this morning to meditate for 10 minutes, do some kind of fun online workout (yesterday was an afrobeats class, today is boxing) and run 3km daily for 30 days. It’s not a lot but I’m working on building endurance and I’m really enjoying this challenge! I found a really cute trail today and honestly just a change of scenery gives me so much motivation and energy to push through and focus on what’s around me rather than the burn that’s going on inside.
I also recently became single lol so I have so much more time to devote to myself and I’m finding myself falling in love with myself and relishing the opportunity to do things just for me and rebuild my confidence. Trust me, 3 months ago I wouldn’t have dared post a pic like this anywhere so doing this feels good.
I’m going to be spending the rest of my day cooking some new recipes and doing uni work with my flat mate. How are you spending your Easter Sunday?

After not exercising for 7 months (bad, I know) I’m finally back on my flex and posting again. Back and badder than ever, and more determined to reach my goals than I have EVER been. I’ve already lost an inch off my waist and hips since last week. Running, swimming, pilates and surprisingly daily meditation have played such an important part in establishing a healthy and happy routine that I’m beginning to love. My relationship with food has become a lot better, my skin has never looked so good (seriously, I walk around without makeup on- something I wouldn’t have dreamed of doing a month ago). Working out makes me happy, and who doesn’t like to be happy?

3 weeks ago I decided to switch up my diet so I started doing a (mostly) keto diet, combined with doing Chloe Ting’s shred program and intermittent fasting...today I weighed in and i’m half a stone lighter and my body fat percentage has gone down by almost 1%....I’m so happy with the progress! It’s so easy to get dispondent and lose motivation, but seeing results and feeling them too spurs me on to keep pushing and work on being disciplined, but in a healthy way! Go me!

It’s important for me to have a workout routine that is dynamic and different, because I have identified that I tend to get bored quickly which makes me complacent. So here’s how I switch up my workouts:
Monday-Thursday: Outdoor running on an unfamiliar trail (has to be new places otherwise I get bored of the same sights) i combine this with a few sets of muscle building exercises, which I vary week on week
Friday: Swimming and sauna at my local gala
Saturday: YouTube pilates class at home or a local Zumba class
Sunday: I use Nike training club and do a 15-20 minutes yoga session at home to refresh, replenish and relax my body!

In your room, play that song that makes you wanna just grind on every man/woman/thing you want. Play it LOUD. Get naked, or just into your bra and panties, and sexy dance away. Guaranteed you’ll feel amazing afterwards

Another day another workout! I feel so good you guys😍 also I just got accepted in to medical school! So this year I'm hopefully going to start studying medicine! How scary and exciting! Another little reminder that results come with hard work and effort!

When you look forward to waking up to workout that day, you know you've turned working out from being a meticulous chore into a fun activity that will change your life forever and make your goals that much easier to achieve.

I love myself
Exercise has helped me in a way that no amount of therapy or reading ever could. I love the feeling of pushing my body and realising how far it has come as I pursue each day. I am not the fittest, I am not the strongest, I am not the fastest. But the progress I am seeing in myself, feeling within myself, and knowing that i am completely and utterly in love with myself is what motivates me the most to get up and go exercise. I love myself.
