10 years after they arrive at safe haven, the swipe begins to fail. memories are slowly returning to survivors like the way the gentle waves lap at their feet each morning.

thomas does not want to remember. he is still grieving, will always be grieving, of brown eyes and blonde hair and a smile dripping with honey.

but thomas never gets what he wants, and so his swipe fails and he falls. he falls back in love with newt, with a skinny child knocking on his door, with tangled limbs and brushing lips. he remembers loving newt and newt loving him and both of them knowing they loved one another. he remembers kissing newt, cradling newt, loving newt in the way he never thought he did.

he has to lose and mourn newt all over again, and he cannot do it. it was unbearable losing newt thinking that maybe they had something. it is worse knowing that he lost his lover all along, and he resigns himself to his fate of his hut for one person by the beach.

he lets the waves lap over his ankles, and clutches the cord around his neck, feels the ancient love weaved into the pages. he will always be alone because the love of his life has been taken from him once, twice, thrice.

“i have always loved you,” thomas whispers to the sunrise of molten gold.

it will never be enough. those words will always be made for newt. he will always belong to newt, so much so that he feels like his body is side by side with his lover’s under the ruins of a lost city.

Today I was scrolling through Luke's Instagram and I went to a photo to read comments from old times and I found this, a new comment. An horrible one really 😠Why do you need to leave him a comment there first? I mean, it's about Simone and Nicola stuff AND THEY COMMENT ON HIS INSTAGRAM (clearly commenting on Nicola's IG is not good either) and second... why that violence, my god! I will never understand it, I swear🙄

For obvious reasons I do not include which photo it is or the comment account... it would be to continue fueling the hate that is generated in his posts. I just want to hug him and tell him that we love him and that not all of us are like that and like others🫂🥹😭

- There were some lovely fics with the premise of Albus and Gellert confronting each other of what the years they were separated, a boy with dark hair and light hair seem to have come a cross each other's paths--strange hm hmm. (nefarious even, take this with lots of caution and red flags for what Gellert had done)

They had each other's boy throughout this war-

On a lighter note, there was also that cute Professors in Hogwarts fic where Gellert asks who is the prettiest man Albus knows and Albus says Newt's name (Newt just side tracked the professor because he was waving at a distance, Gellert doesn't know tho) Jealousy ensued!!!

Watching & listening to Frankie and Bugs talk about One Piece on stream keeps unearthing old memories I've had buried for a long time.

A few streams back, I remembered that the first thing I ever saw on the internet was during a visit at a friend's house in the early 00s where she would be like "You like One Piece too, right?" and proceed to show me a translated Sanji X Zoro doujinshi video on Youtube.

Today? Today I remembered my old Thriller Bark AU RP that I ran with a deviantArt friend on Gaia Online. It's still there. I checked.
