I really love his hair. I always like when they add floof to it, I usually find the normal version too flat. I'm afraid I'll never agree with him wearing anything more than loose pants to bed though, but it's not like I'm surprised they dressed him up here lol

But yeah, all three cards being out, it more or less reinforces that headcanon of mine I have

Vil: already wakes up perfect, you need sunglasses to be able to look at him first thing in the morning

Leona: a mess but the asshole is naturally attractive without even trying

Jamil: don't even think about looking at him until he's had some coffee (he'd wake up perfect too if he only slept more than three hours a night)

The funniest thing about the complicit civilians is that Lex, for all that he is an abusive asshole, actually apparently provides an actual good workplace.

Yes, the ones in the command center and pocket dimension jail are probably true believers but the fact that even at the beach base his unarmed beach shorts wearing employees run to stop Terrific and even afterwards that one goes to check that the equipment is still okay? This isn't some theoretical, four steps removed danger to them that just happened, this was a right in their faces, shock handcuffs threat and yet their self-preservation, self-interest drive didn't have them getting the frak out. If the good workplace was merely performative ping pong tables in the breaktent they would have noped out the moment the fight started but *they didn't*.

Like, Lex had to have done the math. He knows he is abusive and violent and had the power to indulge those whims but realized it would be better for business and his end goals for his employees to love him instead of fear him. The big bad, cartoonishly evil, oversized ego made of the thinnest glass villain still provided a healthy, positive work environment for his employees.

Lex Luthor, Lex fucking Luthor, is somehow a better human being than any actual S&P 500 executive. An outright murderer with genocide and torturing dogs as side hobbies and a personal prison for ex-girlfriends is a better boss than the ones we have.

Lex Luthor isn't Elon, he's Dan Price. Yeah, he gave every employee a raise to at least $70k, but that doesn't change the fact that he abuses women.

The way Superman depicted complicit civilians is gonna stick with me.

Because usually when you have your villain, usually the civilians working for them are gonna be largely faceless or cowed. And then when the hero crashes the scene, only the armed goons are taken out while said civilians flee to remove any questions.

In here though, you can tell they all enjoy working for Luthor. The technicians in his hq have fun plugging in directions to Ultraman. And those in the base camp wear tropical shirts while listening to music and playing games on their downtime. Nobody is working with rigid confirmity nor are there moral reservations (the only objection shown was when his obsession almost got them killed).

So when Mr. Terrific arrived on the scene, it is actually fitting that he wiped out the workers alongside the armed goons.

Also the way Superman's fellow prisoners not only attempted to snitch on him but actually tried to out snitch each other deserves a whole other analysis.

Sooo this is just a theory BUT what if Doffy’s left eye is like Loki’s?? 👀 And the “Heavenly Demon” thing is actually… a thing??? 😈I mean, covered eyes since they were kids, the Donquijotes being called demons 900 years ago…. I’m just saying 🧐🤔🫣
