Newsies Forever!

The world of Newsies has continued to grow, thanks to interest and enthusiasm from fans. Fansies, a nickname for super fans of the show, have been supporters since the ’90s, while others just happened to stumble across the show as word of mouth spread. Audiences loved "Newsies" when it hit Broadway. These fans know every song by heart and made an effort to know each cast member who came into the company. One thing for sure is that you can never underestimate the power of the fans. Generations of people, students and theatre lovers alike, have fallen in love with this show.

Yk, last night I watched newsies again, and I thought something.

What if Jack was just trying to be a flirt to Katherine, but didn’t actually like her? What if he was pretending because he knew that he and Davey weren’t able to be together because of other people? I mean, look at Jacks face at the rally. He looks sad, and then calls after Davey, but Davey looks betrayed in 9 different ways. But then! That’s not all! When Jack and Katherine kiss during Finale, Davey looks a little… Jelous? Or in Jacobi’s after the world will know, I noticed Davey PUSHES Jack behind him, as if he wants to keep him from Katherine. (That one might be me being dramatic)

But Davey also looks kind of devastated in his the Finale scene when they kiss.

I mean, I feel like all the Newsies ship it. Because I do too

Okay so. For those of you who are out to get me over ANY opinion of mine ever.

I'm a minor. I just had my first day of high school today. Some (most) of the people who have given me shit over my thoughts (again of any kind) are GROWN ASS ADULTS. Like, in their bios, they list themselves as 25+

So. When I have an opinion that you don't like, that's not okay at all, but when you, again, a grown ass adult, send me hate in my asks and tell me off for voicing my opinions and dm me telling me all the reasons why my opinion is not valid, then its totally chill and fine.

Additionally, you don't know me, adult or not. You have no clue who I am and you shoot hate my way like nuts. You don't know that I struggle with mental health, and you don't know that the musical I'm talking about literally saved my life, you don't know that the post I made about my queer identity were made after getting chewed out relentlessly just for who I love, you don't know that I'm shit at reading people and often come off as harsh because of that.

But you make fun of me for saying that I was anxious about something, saying I'm just a dumb teenager being anxious over nothing. You rip into me for having a favorite musical. You make my post about being bi all about how you think bisexuality is a sin. You mock me for being blunt.

So. Fuck off. I don't give a shit about your opinion. And, adults, don't you think cyber bullying youth is taking it a little bit too far?
