in the few days since i started reading news again

* israel has signed and IMMEDIATELY violated a ceasefire with Palestine, attacked villages in the West Bank, took tens if not hundreds of hostages and marched them off to prison and killed (sniped) at least nine people returning to Gaza under the "ceasefire". Remind you of a certain big ass country that promised safe passage to civilians and then shot them?

* russian drone raids over Ukraine are a daily (well, nightly) occurrence and no one bats an eye anymore but at least russian oil is burning

* the russian enabler US president got crowned, elon rusk gave a nazi salute he's gonna pretend wasn't one

* oh and my own piddly ass country finally has a "stable government" between (1) the deep state mafia, (2) the old-timer russia enablers, (3) their sworn enemies the plum conservatives - blue ( = pro-eu and pro liberal democracy) outside, red ( = russia enablers) on the inside, (4) the openly populist clowns.

I was in line to buy toilet paper at Walgreens and saw the most insane headlines on the Enquirer. And looking back, remembering my grandma reading those magazines as REAL NEWS and not the totally baseless gossip that it is, of COURSE she was crazy. There was no way around it.

First, anyone who hasn't read the article, it's long but you absolutely should read it because it talks about the US's position in psyops as a whole. You have people who already distrust the news and the government so they go to alternative news sources and other country's news, but those are all fake too so then they get pushed further and further away into news sources that you really cannot authenticate in any way, WHICH IS ALSO FAKE, resulting in cross-cultural contamination of propaganda. The internet has made it so everybody's psyops against everybody else will always come back to bite your own country and I can't believe that the USA just thinks that's an ok risk to take.

So now, not only do we have psyops not meant for the US affecting our own population, we also have our own internal psyops going on everyday from the GOP and whoever else. We have a country where we can't trust anyone now, and idk I guess on the surface I get it, if everyone else[the other countries] is doing it[propaganda/psyops] then you're fucked if you don't do it too but really?? We can trust no one now, I can't even trust this news article because MAYBE it's a reputable source but also MAYBE finding out about a psyop is part of another fucking psyop!!

How is anyone supposed to make any sort of reasonable informed opinion about literally fucking anything when all the information is just some Kira writing names in a book somewhere laughing about how they're two steps ahead of some L edited to add: If you think you are immune to propaganda, you are wrong.
