Goeie IT-partner? Een checklist

Wat is de meest recente zakelijke relatie die u bentaangegaan? Een juridische dienst? Financieel adviseur? U denkt er wellicht niet direct aan, maar uw IT leverancier is één van de belangrijkere partners. Ieder bedrijf is tegenwoordig in meer of mindere mate een IT bedrijf. De juiste partner  zorgt voor stabiele en continue automatisering. Lost problemen op en denkt mee in de kosten. Neemt u mee in ontwikkelingen, legt uit, en adviseert op begrijpelijke manier. Hoe is het bij u geregeld? Hieronder een handige checklist van 8 must-haves.

Snelheid en responstijd. Niets vervelender dan lang te moeten wachten als er een probleem is. En is het eigenlijk überhaupt wel duidelijk wat de afspraken hierover precies zijn? Heeft uw IT partner de juiste mix van kosten en diensten transparant met u besproken en samengesteld?

Open kosten. Wel eens verrast door facturen waar u achter aan moet bellen om ze te begrijpen? En dan nog blijft een beetje het gevoel dat u een oor wordt aangenaaid? Heldere en transparant afspraken zodat de kosten vooraf duidelijk zijn voorkomt veel gedoe.

Calamiteiten. Veel IT voorzieningen zoals backups, redundante systemen en cloud solutions dienen als een soort verzekering tegen problemen. Gaat iets stuk (een kantoor PC bijvoorbeeld)? No problem, alles kan uit de cloud makkelijk worden teruggezet op een nieuwe. Als uw IT partner goed met u heeft besproken wat voor uw bedrijf belangrijk is, en daarop de juiste ‘verzekering’ heeft ingericht, goed zo. Zo niet, vraag hen uit te leggen hoe het eigenlijk bij u zit!

Totaalbeheer. Wij zinden dat een IT partner een one-stop-shop moet zijn. Coördinatie van andere diensten en partijen (telecom, internetverbindingen, hardware leveranties, software licentie beheer, enzovoorts) hoort daar desgewenst ook bij, zodat u één aanspreekpunt houdt.

Onsite support. Komt uw IT partner regelmatig over de vloer? Ook als er geen incidenten zijn? Veel onderhoud kan tegenwoordig op afstand, maar zeker niet alles.

Veiligheid. Hebt u af en toe ‘last’ van wachtwoorden die u móet wijzigen, dat u moet herstarten omdat een veiligheidsupdate klaar staat, of wachten op een virusupdate? Mooi, dat zijn essentiële maatregelen tegenwoordig. Herkent u deze zaken niet? Bel ons dan vandáág nog!

‘Good vibes‘. Voelt t goed, veilig en value for money, wat uw IT partner voor u doet? Zijn de collega’s positief? Gevoel dat de zaken ‘gewoon goed geregeld’ zijn?
