(i made these back in Dec 2023 but forgot to post them. but i still like them so here they go)

anyway these are character sketches/concepts for a fic As the incense burns, which is basically Misadventures of PIDW late-game Mu Qingfang

((pardon the scrap paper, most of them were just side doodles from next to my notes lol))

these are silly goofy doodles which do not correlate with the overall vibe of the fic (with some exceptions) but i am not making fun of the fic dont worry the author gave me explicit permission to make these :) (lol)

Streamline drawing these LMFAO i should probably make some custom brushes myself #especially for the “flat” outer ring of buildings and noise #i do them with the polyline lasso tool but #i could probably just. make a brush. draw it in a circle. and squish the circle into perspective.#But we work harder Not smarter. ok #also YAYYY featuring the slightly updated city center since it had a slight (literal) shift in its look. the ring of buildings around the #center tower is taller on one side to more closely mimic some aspects of sundials
