time, the inevitable: Fezco

Summary: the police come to raid the house just as you’re leaving for Lexi’s play, panic ensues and it’s time to go. it’s not the end yet.

Warning(s): angst, fluff, escape, police, etc.

Author Note: because I hated what they did to my baby boy ash and my man fezco, in the finale episode, I needed to write my own! I hope you guys like it!

It was quiet in the house, save for the light thump of your heels when you made your way from the kitchen back to the bedroom, walking in to retouch your makeup, accidentally smudging it to the side.

Your eyes met your boyfriend’s in the mirror, he hadn’t been able to keep his eyes to himself since you put your dress on, his favorite color on you, and one that fit you just right. You couldn’t help but laugh lightly, his eyes tearing away to fix the tie he’d been trying to put on for the last five minutes, staring hard into the bathroom mirror, you turn to him with a smile after fixing yourself up.

Leaning yourself on the desk to look at him, he had a nicely fitted black tux on that was entirely flattering on him, it did make you want to take it off piece by piece and stay home for the night, but you’d been looking forwards to this play for a while. Especially since Lexi admitted she had put you in the play, the two having grown up together, meeting in elementary school, best friends ever since. You had to be there, especially for the piece she had added about Fezco and you into the production. What a sight that would be.

“Don’t you look handsome?” You sauntered over to him, sliding a teasing hand around his waist and laying your head against his shoulder.

He smirks lightly at your presence. “Don’t get nothing started now, ma, we ain’t goin’ no where if you do,” he did always say your touch drove him wild, the tone of his voice almost made you want to test his theory. But, as experience has shown, it was no theory.

You chuckle, kissing the side of his jaw, before rubbing his shoulder, “Don’t worry big boy, now, come on, let me help you with that,” you turn him to you and take his tie from him, he visibly relaxes at that, glad to give it over and you smile with amusement. “I love this tux on you, we should get you more,” you bump his chin lightly, correctly tightening the tie up, looking it over as he shrugged.

“And where else you think I’m goin’ like this?” Fezco questioned, a raised brow and a humored expression.

“Honestly, you don’t have to go anywhere, you can stay right here,” you pull him down by his tie, his grin widening a fraction, your noses brushing together from how close you were.

“Right here?” he asked, lowly, a hand wrapping around your waist, his lips touching yours, pressing into you, pulling away as you smile, kissing him back.

“Oh yeah, here, and at our wedding, at Ash’s graduation,” you added in, breathing deeply into your next kiss, “All that good stuff,” you mutter out, your hands climbing up to his face, holding tight to his neck to steady yourself as he dared to pull you closer.

Fezco nodded, “for sure, ma, sounds like a plan,” he flipped the collar of his shirt, “I can get used to it.”

You smiled, widely, before hearing someone enter the room, from the footsteps you knew it was Ashtray, the two of you turn to the door as he steps inside, “Yo, ya’ll gon’ be late, so quit suckin’ face and get the fuck out,” he pointed to the door, rolling his eyes at the two.

“Come on, man, chill,” Fez said to his little brother, sighing.

You snickered. “Sounds like you’re trying to get rid of us, little man,” you pulled away from Fez, who sighed, taking the jacket of his tux piece off the rack to finish off his outfit.

Ash makes a face as you walk over to him. “I ain’t tryin’ to get rid’a nothin’, you was all over the place about gettin’ there early, remember?”

“Relax, the play doesn’t start for another half hour, we’re good,” you said, putting a hand on the top of his head that runs down to his cheek, a loving gesture that you’ve down for years now.

He calms down slightly, “Yeah, yeah, just don’t come to me when you’re whining about being late.”

“Gotcha,” you hummed, agreeing. “Now, I made you and Faye some dinner for later, in case you get hungry, and there are some sandwiches in the fridge,” you took your earrings from the dresser before heading out to the hall, following after fez as he heads to the front of the house.

Ashtray follows after you, trailing behind, eagerly. “Cool, so, when ya’ll think you’re gonna be back?” he wondered, curiously. He didn’t exactly want to stay home alone without you both, but he didn’t want to go to Lexi’s dumb play either, he’d have rather order takeout, ‘reluctantly’ curl up to you on the couch with his brother and watch some old movie. But, he could wait until after he supposed.

“The play shouldn’t be more than two hours, really,” you started, thoughtfully, taping Fez on the back, mostly to confirm, to which he nodded. “then, we’re heading to Wayne’s for food with Lex and the others,” you then remembered, turning back to look at Ash, “feeling for the usual from there? Burger, fries?”

Ash held in his own little smile, one that he hoped came off as nonchalant. Although, you always did it, it still meant the world to Ashtray that you’d think of him, even with the little things, “You know my usual,” he shrugged, looking away and making his way to the living room, where he caught sight of Custer, who still sat still on the couch, hardly said much of anything.

Ash’s exterior hardens as he catches Custer saying something, whispering to Faye harshly, the girl frowning deeply before glancing at Ash and looking away quickly, rushing back to the Kitchen, avoiding him. The boy slips a knife off the counter as he passes, having a bad feeling about the man that. A worst feeling creeping up into him that he’d held onto since he entered. He had something to hide, and that was the last thing they needed, someone who was hiding shit while being in a house with drug dealers. Nothing ever went right when that happened.

And Ash was gonna remind him.

The boy makes his way over to the man, sitting on the one seater next to the long couch, staring at him, glaring, suspiciously.

The man having been tense since he stepped into the house, but the whole exchange between those two completely didn’t sit right with Ash. Custer gulps, visibly, looking at him, the boy that killed Mouse and broke his nose, he had reason to fear the kid, but he had to act cool for the time being. “What’s goin’ on, man?”

Ash looked at him, stared. “Nothin’,” he answered simply.

Custer nods, not having it in him to ask something else as he breathes deeply, hands tapping his knees to calm himself. “Yeah, yeah, I get it.” He glances over at his phone, that was on, someone listening on the other side.

Ash doesn’t say anything more. You notice the exchange a few feet away as Fez walks back to the room to get the flowers he had left there and put on his shoes.

You glance over at Faye who takes a shaky breath and gulps down some water from her glass, your smile dissipates instantly, it gets eerily quiet in the house now and you know right then and there something’s up. You turn to Faye, fully, and her eyes immediately flicker up to yours, the moment she sees the look in your eyes, she begins to crack. Blinking rapidly, she holds tight to the glass, threatening to break it in her hand, she opens her mouth slightly but then glances to the side and deciding against it.

She offers a tiny, forced smile, glancing over at Custer, just slightly shaking her head. “Y-You look beautiful,” she stutters out, but then points out the shoulder pin of your dress. “Let me fix that, for you, I got it.”

Faye comes over to you, turning you to face Custer and Ash, you just notice Custer turning away from you and facing the television once again, watching Faye in that moment. Your eyes go wide as you begin to realize what exactly is going on, “Mouse was found,” Faye whispers as she messily fidgets with the pin of your dress, your blood running cold. “Custer’s in with them,” knowing exactly what she means, you felt sick to your stomach, hardly able to breath as Faye pulled back from you, a sure look in her eyes that told you to RUN.

“Thanks,” you breathe, “I didn’t even...realize, it was loose,” you spoke to convince Custer, who’s shoulders visibly relaxed at your sentence, your heart raged with a fire in that moment, you wanted nothing more than to stampede over to that man and choke the life out of him, but apparently there was no time.

“Ash,” you spoke, quickly, trying not to sound too unlike yourself. The boy turned to you, a look in his eye aimed towards Custer that made you understand that he had definitely figured out something was wrong as well. “Help me with, um, Fez’s tux please, babe?”

Fez takes that moment to leave the room, shoes on and flowers in hand, lips turning up in confusion, looking down at his . “my tux? What’s the pr--,” he pauses, expression dropping upon seeing your face and a hand raising to him to stop him. “Ash,” he doesn’t tear his eyes away from you as he calls for his brother, a worried look in his eyes as he notices yours. “Come ‘ere man.”

Ashtray stands, glaring down at Custer before walking off, he goes up to his family, the three walking down the hallway back to the nearest bedroom, “That fucker has got some shi-,” Ash starts, hardly a whisper but adamant, you interrupt him.

“We need to get the fuck out of here,” you whisper, unable to stop yourself from shaking, nothing but fear coursing through you, for your boys, for their future, for what could happen if they don’t leave right now. “Right now.”

Both boys look at you, eyes going wide as your eyes redden, tears threatening to spill, you take a frantic breath, you rush over to the closet, tossing off your heels and grabbing Fez’s coat, “What’s going on, ma?” he questions you, worriedly, keeping his voice at a whisper. “What happened? Is it Custer? Faye? What?” he watches you put on some sneakers, taking out two big duffel bags that you’d usually use for the gym or a picnic.

“Yes, yes!” you answer, before shaking your head. “No, wait! No, they found him. they found mouse, Custer’s with them, and we need to leave, before they get here first,” you turned to your boyfriend with urgency, you can see his heart stop before he curses, fuming as he turned back to the door. “No, no, not now, don’t focus on him now,” you pull him back as he stomps towards the door, ready to rip Custer apart for betraying him, bringing this shit to his doorstep, putting his family in danger. “Look at me, look at me,” you take his face in your hands, you feel his heart beating like that thunder beneath his skin. “We’ve got this. We have to just focus on going, ok? Focus. We’re ok.”

Fezco nods, breathing deeply, taking your hand, pressing it to his lips hard before pulling away and turning to Ash who’s already stuffing a bag with cash and weapons, clothes being layered on top of it. “I got that, man. Look, I need you to do somethin’,” he spins Ashtray around when he doesn’t hear him, “Hey, hey, Ash,” the boy is shaking, hands balled up to keep himself still, but keeps a hard look on his face, breathing harshly. He’s scared, angry, “We’re good, ‘ight. We’re good. I need you to go to your room closet, there’s the attic door in there, you gotta climb up, open it, we’ll be right there,” Fez puts his forehead to his brothers, rubbing the back of Ash neck to calm him down, the two keeping eye contact. “Go, now. Go!” He hands him an empty bag from the closet for his own clothes in the room.

Ash rushes to his room, being careful of not making too much noise for Custer to get suspicious, turning on the room light, eyes widening when he sees the attic door.

You and Fezco pack the bags as quickly and quietly as you can, you make your way to Ash’s room quietly, taking a handful of important things he’d need from his drawers. And peeking into the closet to see he’s already up there, peering down, relieved there really was an attic crawlspace here, and extending his hand for the bags. “Good boy, Ash, just stay there, ok? Please,” you pass him the bag, he puts it up in the attic, luckily finding a crawl space that could lead them to the roof and out the house.

But, he frowns when he hears you say that, “What the fuck? No, I’m coming back down to help,” he curses, reluctant to stay here and helpless, he didn’t want to leave your alone.

“Please,” you sniffle, taking a breath as you didn’t mean to let it slip, “Please, just stay there, Ash, please,” you beg him, before leaving the room before Ash can protest anymore.

You walk back over to the room, knowing that it’s been quiet for a little too long for Custer to not become suspicious, “Not too tight, Ash,” you said, aloud, Fez whipping around to look at you, you nod your head to him and he understands then. “Can you hand me that pin?” you asked, loud enough for Custer to hear.

“Gotchu, ma,” Fezco packs in some of your clothes and his, a few more bills, important documents you knew they’d need, their passports, “Hand me my watch from the bathroom, man?” he played along, making his way to Ash’s room and tossed the last bag up, nodding to his brother.

You linger in the bedroom for a moment, Fezco coming back for a bookbag he had stuffed with random items, you’d need, he hated that he couldn’t grab anything else but they needed to leave. He shouldered the bag, taking your arm and kissing your forehead softly, “Come on, baby,” he whispered to you, the two of you sneaking out of the room, but Faye catches sight of you two, which makes you both freeze up.

Fezco looks to Faye, already pushing you behind him and towards the closet door, looking down to Faye, a look that begs her to stay quiet, and she listens, her eyes glancing down at the bags in hand.

Faye looks at you both, her lips parted, in surprise but she then looks back at her boyfriend, Custer, then back to you, handing Fez his wallet and she squeezes both of your hands tightly. A goodbye.

You nod to Faye, tears rushing down your face and you take one last look at her before rushing into Ash’s room, into the closet and climbing the attic stairs. Fezco follows behind you, pulling the rope to close it, quietly, it shuts with a light thud, you take out your phone for a flashlight in the dark and look around.

You focus it on Ash for a second to make sure he’s okay, just something about this night, finding out about Custer ratting them out, you had suddenly had such a bad feeling. You wiped off a smudge on his face, using that moment to gently take the side of his face, he nods, knowing you’re asking him if he’s okay. You looked around the incredibly dusty attic, a forgotten room, clearly, but luckily for you all, Fezco knew every inch of this house.

Ashtray looks to you, before pointing to a corner, a dusty crawlspace and a hint of light showing, from beyond it, “There.”

Fez puts his hand to the small of your back, “Let’s get outta here.”

You all make your way down to it, Ash going first, being the smallest, the duffel strapped to him, the ground creaks irritant below you all, and your freeze, wincing at the sound before continuing. You both follow Ash and it takes a while, with dusty cobwebs, spiders and dried leaves everywhere, but you force yourselves through a space that could’ve been a chimney. The tree of you rolling right onto the roof, coughing up the dust that rammed its way into your throats, you then look around, eyes widening as you spot the swat truck that had pulled up to the house not too far. No one had stepped out of it yet, luckily and it was too dark to see any of you popping out of the roof of the house but that didn’t mean any of you were out of the clear yet.

The moment Fezco saw the SWAT truck, he could hardly believe it, of course he believed you the second you said something was up, but seeing it for himself was something else altogether. Who knows what would’ve happened if they stayed in the house.

“Get your asses over here,” Ash whispers harshly from the side, you and Fezco look over at him and he’s making his way down the side of the house, luckily it was only one floor or this would be a lot harder.

All three of you make it to the ground behind the house, you can hear Custer start to shout, calling from somebody, probably Fez, noticing the quiet nature of the home now. Then you all begin to run, your bags in hand, Fezco’s hand in yours and making sure that Ashtray stays running in front of you both so you never lose sight of him. Running behind the neighbors yards and over the fences, Fezco helping you over the dividers and the both of you pulling Ash over together, quietly to not alert any security systems, sleeping neighbors and such.

You make it over to your apartment complex, running for what felt like hours, you were glad you hadn’t lost your car keys with all the running, you toss them to Fez who catches them and unlocks the car for all of you. You give him a hat that you had left in the compartment box and you tie yours up, taking off your coat as Fezco starts the car. He starts driving immediately, all of you panting, exhausted, shaking from the rush of it all, the image of the police SWAT car still imprinted in your heads.

You turn to Ashtray, reaching over and cupping the side of his face. “You good?” you look to your boyfriend as he drives. “Everyone alright?”

Ash releases a tired, humored breath. “That was fucking insane,” he says, with a laugh of disbelief, you slump against your seat, laughing with him, glad he was at least mentally intact.

Fez stops at a red light, and takes your hand, your turn to him, “Can’t believe we just got away from that shit,” he laughed, scoffing to himself, unable to believe what they just went through, what almost happened to them. “Shit, ma, we got outta there because’a you,” he leaned over, “fuck,” breathlessly, hugging you to him, you take him in and fist your hand into his jacket. “Fuckin’ love you girl,” he kissed you hard, the fear dissipating between all of you now. You were okay.

The light turns green.

“I love you too,” you breathe into him, you reach out behind him, taking Ash’s hand, he looks to you with a smile, his eyes red with relief. “Both of you.”

It was time to go now, go somewhere new. Somewhere better, to start over.

Fezco drives, stopping by the high school, you rush inside and leave the flowers by Lexi’s locker, the note that you and Fez had wrote for her with it, edited down with their goodbyes and see you laters.

Running back to the car and driving off, Fezco and Ashtray look to you and grin, thinking of the life they can choose now with a fresh start. Leaving the small town they’d grown up in. They could go anywhere, maybe going off to the countryside, maybe to a farm, maybe to a high-rise city, the plan wasn’t clear but it was ok.

They had the time.

hey so uh, it's 110% Not Your Job, but can i ask for like a crash course on these chinese bl series that are everywhere around me but i don't know them. like i'm familiar with the untamed or however many names it has but i'm seeing two or three more???? help please if you can thank you

hello!! oh no worries, i happened to be looking for a distraction too so this was timely hahaha although it’s a pretty broad question since there are so many new live adaptations coming out (and some which have already come out which are featured as bromances), but let me see if I can like round this up for you a little.

*i may be giving you a bit more than you need or like irrelevant stuff, but i guess i’m bound to hit something hahaha

Okay so the chinese BL series you’re talking about is The Untamed, and since you said you’re familiar I won’t get into it in detail, BUT just for like flow’s sake:

The Untamed (Chen Qing Ling) is based on the danmei (BL) novel written by MXTX, called Mo Dao Zu Shi (and yes however many like English translations to this title there is), or MDZS for short. You watched the live-action, and there’s like a lot of other versions of it e.g. the anime, the chibi anime, audio dramas etc. etc. the list goes on. In case you still haven’t seen any of those, just glance through this masterpost made by @the-social-recluse - In any case, right now everything is sort of already out EXCEPT:

Some teasers from MDZS mobile game which has been one year and developing

Now moving on to other BL series floating around so frequently - MDZS is the second book that MXTX wrote. So there’s SVSSS (The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving-System), which is also called lovingly by others in the fandom by Scumbag System/Villain in short, this is MXTX’s first danmei novel. Right now if you’ve seen this on Tumblr, it’s the anime (donghua) version - 10 episodes only for Season 1, available on WeTV with subs, finished airing like a few weeks ago. Translations of the novel are definitely out in full somewhere.

An absolute mess, but an organized one

Everyone thought the donghua wouldn’t air on time either (it has a history of dropping development halfway) but it did

Would probably be the most entertaining if ever dealt with a live-action

And then there’s arguably, the most beloved child out of all three novels (at least right this moment) - TGCF (Tian Guan Ci Fu, or Heaven Official’s Blessing). This is the third and so far last (???) danmei novel MXTX has written, main pairing invented love. Strawhat-wearing scrap collector smiley angel with devoted kid-turned-adult-turned-ghost-king who follows smiley angel for like many years because he loves him. Anyway, if you’re seeing this, once again on Tumblr a lot, it’s the donghua version you’re seeing. Still airing, I think we’re midway through the whole season, the yelling starts Saturday (Asia time zone) and then extends into Sunday, sometimes Monday.

There’s like a god-tier Eng translation in full for TGCF by Suika

There is a manhua for this as well, only like 45 chapters in, but the time Jan/Feb 2021 rolls around, the donghua would have overtaken the manhua progress on the storyline HAHAHA

Apparently the director/production team who did CQL/The Untamed managed to get the rights to filming its live-action, but heh nothing much about that just yet aside from casting rumours and fans worrying that the casting will be done wrongly and also that they won’t be able to do justice to the story.

Alright now that we’ve more or less cleared MXTX and what everyone is hyping over (for good reason), let’s move on to the other CHINESE BL stuff you could be seeing (although I feel like you might not actually be asking about this), and these will all be live-actions (I’m also only clearing SOME of this year’s stuff, so none from before 2020, don’t ask me why I didn’t leave Guardian or SCI up here):

The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty (Cheng Hua’s Fourteenth Year) - Many episodes, much bromance, base novel is gay af, but live action is cute af. Read more here and full translation is not yet done I think

My Roommate is a Detective - THIS IS A SPECIAL MENTION. NOT BL. Doesn’t even have like a book to go along with it, it’s just I’ve seen people getting into this again and creating content, so idk, imma just leave this here. It ain’t BL but it got the most glaring BL-esque relationship I’ve ever seen in my life. You’ll get what I mean if you watch it

The Lost Tomb Reboot - AGAIN another special mention, because many handsome young-ish men who you know, head into tombs, much bromance. Based on a huge series of novels, totally not BL, but as always with like a lot of men put into one story, ships happen. This year as well, in case you’ve seen it floating around

✨✨✨ Upcoming Chinese BL live-action adaptations, confirmed + casting + filming. You may have seen some of these because like posters were recently released etc. - As far as I know these are all slated for 2021 ✨✨✨

Faraway Wanderers (Tian Ya Ke) - A danmei novel by Priest, filming wrapped up, should be airing soon. Leads are pretty cute, although I’m sure they’ll turn this bromance. One of the male leads is known for a lot of period web dramas, and Gong Jun, the other male lead, is known for more contemporary modern dramas, but damn Gong Jun’s jawline

Winner is King (Sha Po Lang) - Another danmei novel by Priest, filming wrapped up recently as well if I recall? Posters recently released, and this is arguably Priest’s most famous and popular danmei

Immortality (Hao Yi Xing) - A super popular danmei novel called 2ha or The White Husky and His White Cat Shizun by Meat Bun. Filming also... wrapped? I think, because posters came out the next day and everyone from Earth to Pluto went mad, definitely one you should look out for next year spring i think, but I’m pretty sure there’s gonna be a hell lot more teasers, posters etc. coming up and then half of danmei Tumblr will probably go into cardiac arrest

The Society of Four Leaves (Zhang Gong An) - Ehhhh I think this hasn’t yet been filmed but casting was recently confirmed (contentiously). Concept posters are up though. This technically isn’t classified officially as a BL. There are no CPs officially in the novel, but apparently it’s very like idk flirty etc., also slated for next year

*There are a few more by Priest, e.g. Liu Yao, but no concrete news that I’ve seen (by now like at least 60% of her danmeis either have a live-action contract or a donghua contract or both lmao)

Imperfection (Can Ci PIn) - Space AU, the novel won like two national literary awards if I recall like last year? Anyway a brief trailer recently came out last week I think, and main lead is handsome af, and once again it’s space and space wars so it’s pretty cool

Silent Reading (Mo Du Zhe) - Novel is called Mo Du, and honestly I think the donghua has been like teasing fans for like idk years, but it looks like we’re finally getting to the donghua as the team previewed the first ep like... two weeks ago live to an audience? Modern crime thriller thing, there’s a masterpost going on Tumblr

Lie Huo Jiao Chou - Another Priest fan favourite, a historical + modern danmei combination. Much angst from what I’ve seen, but donghua teaser looked good also, released also last week

Winter 2022 Anime Opinions

Time to rank the anime I watch for self care, I wish you all a good winter 2022 😌 this are my personal opinions btw so no need to get angry if you don’t agree self care

Futsal Boys!!!

Boring. Honestly I have just watched the first ep and I was extremely disappointed because I like soccer based sports but it was very bland and flavorless unfortunately rip I will finish it but meh

Tribe nine

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news besties but if you say you liked tribe nine no you don’t, you like danganronpa and you are barely scraping through watching tribe nine like I am. It’s not a very solid concept lets not lie to ourselves. Maybe it’s because baseball is in on the bottom of my tier list of boring sports and they tried to sell it to me but failed or maybe it’s just the gigantic leaps of logic this show has the audacity to present but it’s definetely doing something. You go girl give us nothing assfgks points only for having wacky character designs

Baraou no Souretsu

This series is weird asiiwj because there were some aspects I liked and others I hated. I don’t know much about it and I haven’t been keeping up with it so can’t comment much but idk, I feel like it tries to do many things at once and doesn’t really succeed in most. I also find it weird that the demon analogy is linked to the whole thing but idkidk

Tokyo 24-ku

This is a bad series. I hate it because I was expecting so much for it but all Cloverworks does well is let me down so that’s that :) I do like red haired boy he is the only saving grace but the plot is a mess and I am like 7 or 8 eps in and I couldn’t tell you what the plot is about

Hakozume

This is basically copaganda the anime and I ain’t buying it. The latter episodes have been slightly more tolerable but not much so it still sucks lmao,,,,, I only like the moments were the girls are girlfriends and stuff but the story is a lot at once and I still think it should include some warnings or buildup for the triggers

I am ngl I have only watched two eps but I thought it was fine. I know it has an awful rating in MAL so take me with a grain of salt but I liked it, I didn’t think it was anything new nor innovative but I didn’t expect a masterpiece either so it was fine,,,, the character design is cute too.

This one is weird for me because I still don’t know if I liked it or not lmaoo I think I like the idea of it and the concept but the execution lacks something for me and I still don’t know what,,,,, I haven’t read the manga for this but I think this is one of those cases were the adaptation didn’t really do it justice but not sure..... I am very on the edge about it

Warning: A total rewrite of Carry on because…well…it’s shit. And maybe not from start to finish, the beginning half of the episode was good. No other warnings, just a feel good fic to help cope with the end of SPN.

Pairing: Dean x Reader

A/N: Events are after the fight with the vampires.

Summary: Sam and Dean go on one last hunt. But just before the older Winchester can accept his fate, his little brother fights for him one last time.

(My opinion, the acting was awesome. Jared and Jensen deserve all the Oscars after that performance. Just, story-wise, it’s shit. Too fast and rushed. And out of character, Sam didn’t even call 911, or put an attempt into saving Dean. They just accepted ‘fate’. After they said they’re better together, and worthless apart. Dean saying, he sees him retiring from the life in Season 13, and actually seeming like he was looking forward to it. Sure, it’s the only way to end the show, but too soon. Dean deserved more, and Sam’s kids deserve an uncle. The boys deserve to grow a family of their own. But that is just my opinion, Jensen and Jared will forever be my favorites.)

“It’s okay,” Dean says. Fighting off the pain as best as he could. “It’s okay, it’s good.”

“It’s good.” He says, smiling.

“No Dean, this is not good.” Sam argues. Clearly upset and freaking out his older brother is dying and there’s nothing he can do about it.

Unless…

“Jack!” he calls out, pacing the barn.

“Sam, don’t.” Dean groans. “He said he was hands off.”

“Jack if you can hear me, save him. You owe us that much!”

Moments later Jack appears in the barn.

“Jack, save him.”

“Of course, Sam. You don’t have to ask me twice.” Jack says. Snapping his fingers. Snapping the boys back to the bunker, Dean fully healed. Miracle running over to them, greeting them with licks and tail wags.

“But I thought—”

“I owed you guys that much. For all the things I’ve done to you, Mary. I just wanted to not only make it up to you guys, but to give you a proper chance at life.” Jack explains.

Dean stood there, speechless and taken aback by Jack’s reasoning. He was still wanting their forgiveness, and he did it by bringing Dean back to life.

“A proper chance?” Dean asked.

“I got Cas out of the Empty and we’re working on making a world just for monsters. So, this world can be free of them. No more monsters, no more hunting.” Jack says.

“That’s amazing Jack, thank you.” Sam says.

“Yeah, that’s awesome.”

Jack smiles on his family. “Anything for my family.” And vanishes.

“So,” Sam goes. “What now?”

“Now, we start living.”

5 years later…

After 5 years of leaving the bunker and living the apple pie life. Sam, managed to get back together with Eileen, and have been married to her for two years. Sam working at a law firm agency, having gone back to law school, and graduated recently with honors.

Dean’s story. Dean always liked working around cars, he liked working with his hands. Dean tried his hand at school, wanting to open up his own garage. Not being a fan of being bossed around and such, following in Bobby’s footsteps. Opening a garage, scrap yard, fixing up cars, reselling them. Restoring them. At Winchester’s Restorations.

It wasn’t until a few years later, after his garage has been opened, and the Winchester’s are living comfortably in their apple pie life, he had a visit he didn’t know he was waiting for his whole life.

It was a stormy night, his garage normally closes around 8pm, later than most garages in Lawrence Kansas.

A car pulls up to his garage, sounding god awful. The engine making a noise even he didn’t like the sounds of it.

Hurrying outside, he urged the driver to shut off her car. She does so.

Grabbing her things, she gets out of her car.

“My car has been making this noise all day today, and just as I’m driving home from work the check engine light came on.” She explained. “Now, I know you do restorations, but what about just, regular like, garage stuff like fix up cars like mine.” She asked.

“I know what you mean, and yes, I do that stuff too. Let’s get you squared away so I can do it tomorrow.” Dean says with a smile.

They hurry inside to get out of the rain.

Dean grabbed the correct paperwork, having her fill out her information of her car and her contact information and the problem. And handing it back to him.

“Alright, I’ll start on it first thing tomorrow.” He tells her.

“Thank you so much.”

“It’s not a problem.” He says with a smile. “Do you have a ride home miss?”

“Um, no I don’t. I’m new to Lawrence.” She says.

“It’s totally fine, I have no problem giving you a ride, if you like.” Dean offered.

“I don’t know you.”

“Just thought I’d offer.” Dean says.

“My name is y/n. I’m from Nebraska, and I’m a writer.” She says.

“Dean Winchester, I’m was born and raised here.”

She nods. As the two get to know each other.

Dean happily gave her the ride, she accepted happily given the storm not lighting up.

As Dean sat outside her house, while she gathered her things and got ready to head in.

“I really enjoyed your company Dean, maybe you should call me some time.” She offers.

“I’ll take you up on that offer sweetheart. See you soon.” Dean smiles.

She smiles back, as she exits the impala, she’s taking a number of times looking back at Dean. She shuts the car door behind her, running inside so as to not get soaked by the rain.

Dean keeps an eye out to make sure she is in the house, safe and sound before driving off.

Only to make a turn seeing the road flooded. Turning around he tries another route to getting out of the neighborhood, getting the same road.

It had been raining all day that day, and well into the evening. It’s no surprise if the creeks and rivers have gone over their banks, or even the storm drains having a hard time keeping up with the rainfall. So, he drives back to her place.

Rings her doorbell. She opens the door after a few beats. Dressed in her more comfortable clothes, sweats, oversized t-shirt and a pair of big warm socks.

“Problem?” she asks, when she sees him.

“Roads are flooded, kind of trapped here.” He says sheepishly.

“It’s not a problem, come on in.” she offers

She had popped in a couple of frozen pizza’s in the oven while Dean got himself comfortable.

She headed up to her guest bedroom, where she had spare clothes stashed away. From number ex-boyfriends who have forgotten most of their clothes. She grabbed Dean a pair of sweats and a comfy t-shirt.

She heads back downstairs to offer Dean the clothes.

“I have some clothes, hope they fit.” She offers.

“I’m sure it’ll be fine, thanks sweetheart.” He says, taking the clothes.

“Bathroom is down this hall here on the left.” She points out.

Dean makes his way to the bathroom, getting out of his work clothes and into the comfy clothes offered to him.

The beeping of the oven going off as he exits the bathroom.

“Hope you don’t mind, I heated up some pizza.”

“It’s okay, I am starving, thanks for offering.”

She smiles, offering him a styrofoam plate of pizza.

Dean spent the night that night, and every night since then.

After that night, they bonded over stories. She learned of the places he’s been, she knows he’s keeping a major part of his life secret. But maybe it is for the best that she doesn’t know the hell he has been through.

As the years went on, Sam and Dean having families of their own. Sam had his son, who he named after his brother Dean. And Dean having him kids of his own, two boys, twins and a girl. Kevin, Jack and Charlie.

Monsters really were a thing of the past. But the people over the years up to this point, the people Sam and Dean have saved, made stories. Like heroes to legends.

They lived their life, happy and to the fullest.

Sam and Dean died of old age in their homes, surrounded by family and those they love.

Up in heaven, where Bobby sat on the porch of Harvell’s Roadhouse and waited for the boys to enter heaven.

“It’s about time you boys showed up.”

“Bobby?” Dean asks.

“What memory is this?” Sam asks.

“This ain’t a memory. You’re not living in your golden years anymore. Rufus just lives about half mile that way. You’re parents there.” Bobby pointed out.

“Wait, mom and dad are here?” Sam asked. Bobby nods.

Sam taking off, Dean following him.

They catch a glimpse Dean’s Impala, with his old Kansas plates, KAZ 2Y5. Dean excited he sees his old baby again.

“Let’s go see our family.” Sam says. Dean smiles, agreeing.

Dean turning the key in the ignition of the impala, roaring the engine to life.

The radio playing Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas.

“God, I love this song.” Dean sighs.

“Same.” Sam says.

Eagles: Rewind 3x9

1. Why do y’all think Klara decided to change her mind about staying at the hotel? She decided to leave after her back and forth with Elias and all we see is her hearing the concierge talk about the Kroon drama and the radio talking about it. Maybe she planned on crossing paths with Felicia before them actually crossing paths? Or she didn’t want to leave with everything they are going through?

2. For all the people who sleuthed out Klara was gonna save Felicia, major props! Gosh I really loved seeing Klara run in after her and basically save Felicia’s life.

3. The trauma for both of them is a lot when you think about it. Felicia with everything going on in her family and her personal life being exploited/lied about and everyone just believing an “anonymous source”. Klara being the one to find Felicia like she found her dad except actually being able to save Felicia. The situation was already triggering enough but imagine the ptsd.

So the moment when the girls are in the shower was so important to see and was one of my favorites from the episode. I really loved watching Klara take care of Felicia because of the stark contrast between them in season 1. It’s amazing to see really. S1 Klara was speaking to Felicia in a way that was so removed from any sense of empathy towards her. To see her arms wrapped around Felicia was honestly very beautiful.

4. Klara only remembering Amie’s number. Dare I say that I liked that moment too? Sue me.

5. See when I made the predictions that Ludde would get in to the school, I did not foresee all this hot mess. Not even Ludde’s name being dragged through the mud. Now either the school will change their minds or Amie is gonna hire Ludde to songwrite with her for her tours. That is my prediction.

Also for the Luddicia fans (😂 still getting used to the name)… this situation ain’t getting resolved for a WHILE so buckle up. I mean, you have their break up and this magazine article drama piled on top? That’s a lot to sort through in one episode, even the first few of s4 tbh.

6. I am living for these 3 girls having a moment. Chile, I have been waiting on this for weeks 😂.

Ummm. Klara talking about the sleepover, she and I must have very different definitions of “good times” lmao.

And I’m glad Amie actually apologized to Felicia and said “no what I did was not ok” and I’m glad they both forgave each other. I think the pollen is really thickening up over here, wow!

Look at me, I’m always trying to predict something dramatic. I thought Felicia would find out about Ludde and London in some dramatic fashion.

(random: did y’all see those thick ass fries beside amie? oh my gosh they look so dry!)

Maybe even i’m being dramatic but I noticed this is little parallel of Amie calling Elias about Felicia when they were at the club vs her calling him again at the hotel. interesting stuff.

7. Despite the drama I am happy Mats and Lelia reunited with Felicia. It’s good to see them shift their priorities to what actually matters. All shade.

8. The emphasis, you know I gotta talk about it! The emphasis on Amie and Elias’s hug… you know I gotta slide it in 😂

That little smile he cracked! HER smile! She looked comfortable in his arms. Amie looked like she didn’t wanna let him go chile, WOW. And tbh it didn’t look like Elias side hugged Amie like he did ole girl. Since we can’t see his arms, imma just believe that lol.

Cheers to the small crumbs we can over analyze and over examine to our hearts desires 🥂

9. Props to Felicia reaching out for help. It’s hard but worth it.

I’m really not trying to pop a little laugh out on Felicia sniffling but it’s hard. I totally get it though. When you’ve been crying so hard and for so long, you cannot help that.

Wait, what if Felicia goes to rehab at the end of s3? That would be interesting. S4 she’s a brand new person figuring out what she wants to do with her life.

Y’all think Mats and Petra would get back together? 🙄

10. I really like that Elias and Felicia are communicating what they mean to each other. And I like Felicia telling Elias to be kind to himself too.

Chile I think I am predicting things way way way too big and long for 10 episodes 😂. The amount of things we all thought would happen to Elias. Do you think this is the end of this particular storyline for him or do you think he will still struggle heavily with working himself to the max? I mean, when you put in to perspective that you have everyone internationally and in your backyard believing in Jack’s bs. The whole hockey community will think Elias is some nepotism legacy kid who had everything handed to him. If he wasn’t already, now he has to work 10x harder to prove he is at where he is with hockey because of his actual skills. So, this is a definite we’ll see.

11. Andreas is gonna scare Jack into retracting the article with a gun? Brotha what the hell? Now I really thought this was a relapse moment until the dude said “automatic”. Now do I think Andreas is about to kill this dumbass? no. I think he will try to scare him. The outcome? Up in the air. This whole plan could actually backfire and I would hate to see Andreas get hurt. Lawd, I think this last episode is a school dance/prom episode, it’s giving me very much degrassi flashbacks. Dead and Gone anyone? Lmao I’m not saying the show will get that dramatic but guns and school dances have such a history with teen shows 🤦🏾‍♀️

PS Klara is a hero. It is what it is. She saved this girl’s life. This episode definitely turned my negative feelings about her in to neutral because we still have to see how this love triangle will play out (and yes i’m calling it a triangle even thought amie and elias haven’t disclosed their feelings. we are not dumb lol) and how Klara will react to Amie and Elias. But 3x9 definitely made me look at Klara in a positive light and I liked that.

The Grim Adventures Of The Hazbin Hotel

Since I love both The Grim Adventures and Hazbin Hotel, I decided to write a crossover for them! I know that one is a kids show and the other is for adults, but both shows have dark humor in them, which I love! (Plus, Billy and Mandy has had a few adult jokes in it before.😂) Got really inspired to write this after watching the Billy and Mandy KND crossover special multiple times. Enjoy!🙂

Charlie: After arriving in Endsville, Princess Charlie was amazed at how the town looked compared to Hell! Cleaner streets, no (or rather less) cynical faces, and no red! The supernatural stuff didn't really faze her too much since Hell was filled with that, but when weird things did happen, (things that were weird and out of the ordinary even for Hell's standards) she would just try to stay as positive as possible about them and just accept it as it being apart of the world. What Charlie appreciated most about Endsville was that it was exactly the type of place she wanted Hell to be like. Sure, there were still mean people and monsters running around, but at least they weren't completely horrible. She honestly loves the place! Being that the princess was in an environment that was alot different than her own, she got all excited about everything and wanted to explore around more! We then get the classic 'disney princess is super curious about the new world she's in and decides to explore around the place and enjoys virtually everything that said place as to offer' trope in the form of a fun montage which leads to a musical number sung by Charlie about how much she loves Endsville! While singing, other residence of the town join her and they perform a High School Musical like choreographed dance. We even get a rap verse from Irwin! (What? Don't give me that look. It's a 1 hour cartoon crossover special, gotta fill the time up with something, am I right?😉)

With Grim, she respects him alot (unlike most people in the show) because of the important role he plays as the Grim Reaper. When the skeleton goes on another one of his emotional rants on how much he despises Billy and Mandy and ends up breaking down in tears about it, Charlie pulls out a box of tissues and hands him one as she tries her best to comfort him. Mandy...she didn't like the little girl's negative and cynical attitude, but tolerates it. Billy is a nice kid but...she finds him to be a bit gross at times. Charlie can still appreciate that the boy is trying his best though! She also relates with how positive and optimistic he is in a bad situation.

Bonus: Charlie and Vaggie visit a small store that sells merchandise of three cute, super-powered little girls who all wore dresses, had large eyes, stubby arms and legs and round heads. While Vaggie was looking around in an aisle that was dedicated to the third super-powered girl who had short black hair, light green eyes, and was described on her toy box as "The Toughest Fighter", an excited Charlie rushes over to her, holding a doll of the second super-powered girl who wore a blue dress, had blonde pigtails and had a happy smile that reminded the princess of her own.

Charlie: (shows Vaggie the doll) Vaggie! Vaggie! Look! Look! Isn't she just the cutest thing you've ever seen?!

Vaggie: (boops Charlie's nose) You're the cutest thing i've ever seen.

Charlie: Look! Look! She even talks when you pull her string! Watch this! (pulls the string on the doll's back.)

Doll: Hi, my name's Bubbles! I like animals and flowers and crayons! Let's be friends!💙🐶🌼🖍️☺️

Vaggie: Vaggie is in a constant state of denial the minute she steps into Endsville. She never knew there could exist such a place that was even more absurd than Hell. Being that so much weirdness happens, she stays true to her conscious demeanor. Out of the other three, (Charlie, Angel Dust, and Alastor) she was the most concerned about how they were going to get back to the hotel. (A running joke for her would be that she'd be the only one who'd question alot of the bizarreness that happens, like questioning how some people had the strange ability to somehow look at the "camera" and talk to the "audience".) Her main expression the whole time would be her pinching the bridge of her nose and saying, "This cannot be happening." Her role throughout the special is the voice of reason.

The grey demon was tolerate of Billy when he was behaving and acting like a "normal" child, but quickly became annoyed with him when he decided to do...well...Billy things. He'd also mispronounce her name several times even after she corrects him, refer to her as a "one eyed weirdo" or "lady one eyed", and would ask her over and over again if he could try on her bow. Vaggie saw Mandy the same way she saw Alastor...as pure evil who couldn't be trusted. She eventually warms up to the vile little girl, but still has her doubts about her. Mandy, to her, gives off 'I could cause chaos and take over the world in three seconds if I wanted to' vibes. Being that he was the Grim Reaper, (you know, Death himself) Vaggie jumps straight to conclusions and thinks that Grim is a possible threat that could hurt her or someone else, but soon lowers her guard once she sees that the undead skeleton is harmless. In fact, the moth noticed that alot of the "scary monsters" in this universe weren't scary at all and didn't pose much of a threat. Once she got the chance to learn more about him and interacted with him more, Vaggie ends up getting along with Grim just fine. She liked how Grim was able to relate with her having a good reason to get upset with others due to the choices that they made that made situations even worse since he sorta goes through the same thing with Billy and Mandy. They take a break from all the wacky shenanigans to go get mud facials together and gossip about the people that peeve them off the most. It's what they deserve for having to deal with all the crap that they go through with certain characters.

Bonus: While Grim and Vaggie dig around in Grim's trunk in search for a supernatural object that can help get Vaggie and the others back to Hell, a small sight gag is that alot of the items that get pulled out from the trunk but are then tossed to the side are items from previous Billy and Mandy episodes like the magic zipper from the episode "Zip Your Fly", Billy's dinobonoid toys from the episode "Toys Will Be Toys", the Thromnambular skull from the episode "Wishbones", (one of my favs lol) as well as many others.

Angel Dust: Damn...and he thought hell was filled with freaks. Nope, this place definitely takes the cake. With a town filled with monster hunting red heads with eyepatches, who looked like they were on some serious roids and were most likely crazy, who he ends up getting into an over the top fight and shoot out duel with and after he wins they state that they only went easy on him because he was a 'girl', extremely annoying and slightly pudgy kids with glasses who used the word "yo" way too much, and old washed up senior citizen vampires who wouldn't stop flirting with him and constantly asked the spider to watch them dance for some reason, he swore he felt as though the people here were on more drugs than he was. What annoyed him the most was that everytime he'd try to make a joke, comment, or gesture that was considered "inappropriate", "problematic", or "not kid friendly" in this universe, his words/comments would somehow get bleepled out and his gestures would be censored. It frustrated him to no end. Screw it, if he couldn't make sex jokes then he's doing the next best thing...constantly breaking the fourth wall/being self aware and making suggestive innuendos!

The porn star couldn't really form too much of an opinion on Billy since the kid wouldn't even go near him. When he did, he'd just take a good long look at Angel before screaming, "AAAAA FILTHY TALL DISGUSTING LADY BOY SPIDER! DON'T LAY YOUR EGGS INSIDE OF ME!". He'd then run away and jump out of the nearest window. Overall, Billy's a weird ass kid to him. Mandy is just some rotten little girl. Angel would call her another word that started with a "b" and ended with an "h" but couldn't because he's pretty much forced to keep his language TV Y-7 (with an occasional PG rating). Grim, he thinks, is...lame, which is sad because you'd think with him being Death and all he'd be this extremely powerful being with a super long backstory that would make Angel fall asleep the minute someone started explaining it to him, but no, instead he's just some skeleton who lost a game of limbo to two kids and is now their eternal slave because of it. Angel would keep bringing that fact up to get a reaction out of Grim.

Bonus: It was a dark and spooky night. The screeching of bats - and for some reason a werewolf's howl - echoed across the sky. As the slutty spider was looking for a quick cash grab, these four teenagers and their dog pull up to him in their mystery van and immediately start to compliment Angel Dust on his amazing "costume". I mean, the costuming work just looked so realistic to them - the sharp teeth, the fluffy white chest, the red eye, the two extra arms, it really looked as though he was some sort of spider creature! Good thing he was just some guy in a costume! At least...that's what they thought. One of the teens makes a comment. "Wow, groovy costume, stranger! Though...it's a bit too early for Halloween, don't you think?" To which Angel replies with, "What the *bleep* are you hippie weirdos talkin' about? This ain't no costume! This body is all natural baby!" (Hmm, a tv show about four teenagers, their dog, and a spider solving mysteries together? ...I'd watch it lol.)

Alastor: Alastor's feelings on the Billy and Mandy universe were...mixed. On one hand, the deer demon didn't mind some of the show's zany shenanigans. In fact, he'd describe them as "wacky entertaining nonsense". On the other hand, there were some hijinx that did happen that even he was slightly weirded out by, but would pretend not to notice or care. An example of zany shenanigans he'd find entertaining were brain-eating green meteors who sang swing music, (omg imagine him in the "Little Rock of Horrors" episode) and an example of hijinx that would weird even him out were...invisible duck ghosts who...caused a person to be blamed for farting by...blowing raspberries while standing next to them??? (omg imagine him in the "Duck!" episode). Being that the show lacks one, he's definitely going to add in a laugh track! He would also be the antagonist of the special who'd try to cause chaos in both Endsville and The Underworld all while smiling and being as polite as possible.

Ah, Billy. Billy is...quite the character. Good natured, happy go lucky, optimistic...loud, idiotic, dim-witted. Alastor thought that Billy was just some brainless, moronic kid who lacked basic thinking and hygiene skills that he'd have no time or patience for. The only time Alastor would have any time for Billy is if he decided to use the big nosed boy's stupidity for his own end. Mandy...was such a cute and kind little girl! He doesn't mean that of course, he'd just say it because of how dark and brooding he is. Being that the girl was way too smart to trick, Alastor would just say little remarks to infuriate Mandy like telling her to smile. After all, you're never fully dressed without one! He finds Grim to be amusing in a way. An idea that he would come up with would be to constantly compliment the Reaper on his outfit and abilities. Grim, being Grim, would get all flattered and let his guard down. Little does Grim know that Alastor is actually secretly studying him to see if Grim possesses powers that rival his.

Bonus: A musical number that Alastor had kept being interrupted by a tubby, green, short, elephant demon. He kinda just showed up out of nowhere. No matter how many times he kept shoving him out of the way to finish his song, the childish elephant would just pop right back up and would either say his name or the word "yes" over and over again, randomly blurt out his love for nachos, frozen yogurt, and other foods, would sometimes mistake Alastor for being a magician rather than a radio announcer and would attempt to eat the shadow demons that Alastor casted and even asked Alastor in the middle of the song if he could borrow his monocle and cane for just 5 seconds before effortlessly taking them away, thanking him, and then would proceed to put the monocle on and would sing-shout into the cane, using it like a microphone. That was the final straw. Alastor would stop the song completely, lose his amiable persona and would threaten the other demon. The green demon didn't seem bothered by this and even happily asked Alastor if they could be friends and get frozen yogurt later on! This both confuses and surprises him. No, it really does. He's now stuck in confused chibi mode.

Fred Fredburger: Hey, Mr. Radio Demon! Mr. Radio Demon! Hey! Hey, Mr. Radio Demon! Uh, I have a question! I have a question, Mr. Radio Demon! Do you like music? Because I do! Hey, Mr. Radio Demon, do you like music that goes like this (starts to loudly sing the Camp Lazlo theme song) or-or this (starts to loudly sing the melody of the Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends theme song) or maybe even this (starts to loudly sing the melody of the Codename Kids Next Door theme song).

Billy: He thought that Hell was literally the coolest place ever! Pentagrams, upside down crosses and dead people everywhere?! Cool! Purges and turf wars?! Cool! Inappropriate words that were written on walls, stores, and buildings that were said by pretty much everyone 24/7 that he wasn't allowed to say due to his contract with Cartoon Network?! Cool! But wait...he was in Hell! Those bozos down at that network wouldn't hear him! Oh, he was definitely gonna say every swear word in the book! If you thought the characters in the pilot swore too much, YOU HAVEN'T HEARD BILLY YET! The dimwitted boy also really liked the hotel and agreed with Charlie's idea! Everyone deserves a second chance! Once inside, Billy met this small, red, one-eyed cleaning lady demon who talked really fast! The lady was really excited when she saw Billy for the first time! I mean, she's never met a human test monkey before in person! The boy nearly wet himself in excitement when he saw that the hotel had a naked cat man bartender with wings and a top hat! Billy was quick to rush over to the cat demon and gave him a giant hug. The "cat man" wasn't too pleased about the sudden embrace and became annoyed. Billy then spots the hotel's main phone and gets even more excited! The big nosed boy decides to make prank calls to other Cartoon Network characters.

Billy thought that Charlie was really nice! He was glad that he had the same optimism as her! He liked the puppy panda (that's what animal Billy thought Charlie was a mix of lol) princess alot! Though, one thing that did confuse Billy about Charlie was that if she really is a princess, then where on earth was her magical unicorn pony who farted out candy and rainbows? Vaggie, or was it Valerie? Raggie? Maggie? Baggie? Shaggy?? Wait, no, wrong cartoon. The girl with the X on her eye. Yeah, her. Billy got along with her just fine despite her being a major party pooper sometimes. Angel Dust...AAAAAA!!! GIANT TALL LADY BOY SPIDER!!! HE NEEDS TO BE SQUISHED ASAP BECAUSE HE'S A FILTHY, DIRTY, DISGUSTING BUG!!! A montage began of Billy coming up with creative ways to try and crush Angel Dust by using heavy objects like giant rocks, grand pianos, anvils etc, but Angel is just oblivious to it and every plan/idea Billy came up with always backfired and somehow ended up crushing him in the process. Woah...that Alastor guy...is one bad dude! A radio demon who broadcasted his carnage all throughout hell?! Awesome! Billy would want Alastor to be his friend so that he could have two supernatural buddies, his first one being Grim.

Bonus: As Billy was just happily walking around picking his nose, he had the sudden urge to go to the bathroom! Luckily, he spots a giant office building just ahead! There had to have a bathroom in there, right? When the big nosed boy quickly goes inside the building, he heads into a room where he sees three demons and a hellhound who were having some sort of meeting. When Billy asks for the bathroom, he stops mid-sentence when he spots the dry erase board in the back. The boy gets wide eyed, speeds over to it, and begins drawing a picture of himself as the Green Squeaker! His urge to want to use the restroom had somehow gone away. Meanwhile, the three red demons and the hellhound wondered who Billy was and why he was even there. The boss guy even asks, "Uh...who the fuck is this kid?". Billy didn't know why but he had this sudden feeling in his gut that him and the demon with the black and white striped horns who was sitting next to the female demon with long black eyelashes were somehow, vocally, connected with each other! He even sounded a little like him! Were they brothers?! Was this fate? Oh, wait, nevermind, it's just gas.

Mandy: For a place where you are to be burned and tortured for all eternity, Hell wasn't all that bad. To Mandy, it was like Endsville, but just colored red with a bit of the Underworld mixed in. With the hotel idea, she had a similar opinion about it as Alastor and that it's dumb and pointless to try to rehabilitate people who were in Hell, but what heck she'll go along for the ride because I mean what else is she gonna do for 30 minutes? Though, from what she's seen of the demons around here, in her mind, she's thinking that these guys are totally hopeless.

Charlie annoys her. The princess's 'sweet and cutesy but also really naive personality' reminded her too much of her shadow counterpart, and because of that she treats Charlie similar to how she treats Billy and Grim. Vaggie on the other hand was the complete opposite. A person who seemed to have the most sense out of everyone, wasn't afraid to resort to violence if needed, and was prudent? Hmm...Mandy could respect that...a little. Angel Dust was too gross and perverted for her taste. She didn't think very highly of him and saw him more as a prostitute rather than an adult film star. While Mandy did find Alastor's dark ways to be somewhat interesting, it also ticked her off because NO ONE was allowed to be more dark than her. Also, she finds his smiley and cheerful attitude to be annoying as well as his voice. Plus, he kept calling her "cute little darlin" which was a BIG no no. Looks like she has a new rival.

Bonus: Once Mandy found out that Hell had a news station, her first reaction...take it over. When she steps inside the station and immediately starts bossing the demons who were there around and ordering them to bring her things, the blonde girl was approached by an extremely irritated Katie Killjoy who told her that the only one who got to tell others what to do around here was her and that she most certainly wasn't going to be replaced by some 8 year old little shit. Mandy tells the head anchor that she doesn't listen to old hags who use too much botox on their faces, which infuriates Katie and causes her to go into full demon mode. The two then get into an epic DBZ styled anime fight but it doesn't last long as Mandy is quick to kick Katie's homophobic ass and sends her flying out in a Team Rocket sorta fashion. Everyone at the station and the viewers who were watching were shocked and speechless at what just happened and what they had all just witnessed. The station stayed completely silent for a bit until Mandy asks, "Now...does anyone else have a problem?" to which everyone, out of fear, quickly shake their heads no. It's official, Mandy was now the new head anchor and supreme ruler of 666 News (she had it changed it to "Mandy News") and now reports the news with Tom Trench who was forced to wear a Mandy outfit along with a Mandy wig every time he and her were live on air. Tom was glad that Katie was gone, but honestly, Mandy was no better.

Grim: Grim didn't mind being in Hell at all. The dark, creepy atmosphere really reminded the Reaper of his old home, The Underworld. Though, there was one thing that made his experience in the other lower world a not so enjoyable one and that was definitely the demons. He didn't like them at all. They were so rude! Their immature insults and constant making fun of his Jamaican accent caused the skeleton to whimper before bursting into tears and running away. How could they be so mean? (Okay, okay, so he gets that he's now in Hell, you know, a place where the most horrible of souls go, so he should expect most, if not all, the demons there to be total jerks, but still! He's sensitive, you know.) Grim liked how Charlie seemed to be the only one who actually respected his duty as the Grim Reaper. Sure, he thought that her hotel idea was absolutely stupid, but he warms up to it eventually. Yes, the random singing and breaking into song did get annoying, but at least she was nice, which made him respect her in a way. Vaggie was a little violent at times, but she was the most reasonable out of everyone in the hotel, so Grim spoke to her the most. He tries to stay as FAR away from Angel Dust as possible. Why? Because he doesn't really like the guy. He flirts with him WAAAY too much and makes too many sexual jokes and puns about wanting to "bone" him. At first, Alastor just seemed like some smiley, overly happy talk show demon guy, but once Grim learns about Alastor's backstory (with help from Vaggie) and witnesses some of his powers, he soon starts to get intimidated by the radio host. It's a good thing Grim didn't know much about Hell's other overlords because if he thought Alastor was scary, he'd be absolutely frightened by the other demons who were in charge.

Bonus: "Scythy! Oh, Scythy! Here Scythy, scythy! Where are you, girl? Come to Grim!" the reaper called out. No reply. He let out a sad sigh. Grim had been wandering around Pentagram City for hours in search of his scythe, but couldn't find it. Billy, for the millionth time, had swiped it behind Grim's back without his permission and when angrily confronted by the Reaper about it, the boy simply stated that he traded the scythe to some weird, evil snake guy in exchange for a cool looking peanut, which was, of course, just a regular old peanut. Grim was starting to get worried, his scythe was one of the most powerful tools that he possessed. He couldn't imagine what would happen if it were to fall into the wrong hands, no, he KNEW exactly what would happen - it could cause mass destruction and chaos, creating an imbalance in the universe and bringing about the end of time as we know it! Grim had to find it fast! Billy had mentioned that he gave the scythe away to an evil snake? Now where on Earth was Grim going to find--KABOOM! Grim was startled by the sudden explosion. He looked to see...oh. It was just that Angel Dust guy again. Great. And he was with some one eyed rocker chick??? It looked as though they were up against a snake demon and his gang of eggs. The snake kept hissing about how taking down the rocker chick and ruling all of Hell would be alot more easier thanks to his new magical scythe. Seeing his precious scythe in that snake demon's grubby hands irritated Grim. That scythe belonged to the one and only Grim Reaper, not that legless reptile. He had to find a way to get it back, and from the looks of it, that meant somehow convincing Angel Dust and his friend to join forces with him. This would certainly be an interesting team up.

Once Billy's, Mandy's, and Grim's adventure in Hell came to an end, Grim uses his scythe to open up a portal for him and the kids to head back to Endsville. Grim wishes the staff that's there the best of luck with their hotel and tells them that he'll keep in touch. Mandy rudely mutters under her breath that that's very unlikely. After saying their farewells, the gang enter inside the portal as it disappears. It seems as though the hotel was back to its normal self! Well, as normal as a hotel that was set in Hell gets.

(We see Angel and Vaggie sitting on the sofa in the lobby. They both are bewildered about the events that took place today. Endsville was such a bizzare and peculiar place and having Billy, Mandy, and Grim in Hell was even more bizzare. The other hotel staff members were there as well; Alastor was having a conversation with Husk and Niffty was partaking in her usual afternoon cleaning spree.)

Angel Dust: Sooo...uhh...that was weird.

Vaggie: I know, right? That Billy kid was the weirdest one.

Angel Dust: Am I the only one who's glad that they're gone?

Vaggie: Nope. Hey, where's Charlie?

Angel Dust: I dunno. Haven't seen her.

Cute Voice: (off screen) What are you guys talking about? I'm right here!

Angel Dust and Vaggie: (at the same time) Huh?

(Everyone in the lobby looks in the direction of where the cute, unfamiliar voice came from. It's revealed that the voice belongs none other than Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls! She was inside the hotel and was dressed up as Charlie.)

Bubbles: (copies Charlie's manner of speaking) And starting today, there's going to be a few changes around here!

Angel Dust: (confused) Uh...what?

Alastor: (Is also confused but isn't showing it in his expression. Tilts his head a bit) Pardon me?

Vaggie: Oh no, this is bad.

Angel Dust: I know, right? Now we have two midgets.

Vaggie: No, not that! Charlie is gone!

Niffty: What are you talking about, she's right there. Though, she does look a little...different. Ooo, I know! She must have gotten a haircut or something!

Vaggie: Niffty, that's obviously not Charlie! That's just some kid dressed up as her. But wait, (to Bubbles) if you're here then that must mean that Charlie is...(slowly realizes where Charlie is and facepalms)...oh no. She didn't. She did.

(Transitions to The Powerpuff Girls universe. We get an opening shot of The City Of Townsville during the day.)

Narrator: The City Of Townsville!

(We see two light pink and light green streaks of light fly overhead. In the sky, like in the show's theme song, when Blossom flies on screen, her heroic part of the song plays, Bubble's cute part of the song plays, but she doesn't show up, and when Buttercup's tough part of the song plays, she flies on screen.)

Blossom: (notices that Bubbles isn't there and looks behind her) Uh, Bubbles?

Voice: (off screen) WHEEEE!

(The voice is revealed to be Charlie's as she flies on screen next to the two girls while happily twirling in the air in an exhilarated fashion. She's dressed up as Bubbles.)

Charlie: This is so much fun! (twirls even more) WEEEE! (puts her twirling to a quick stop to talk to her "sisters") Are you guys having fun too?

Blossom: (unsure tone) Uh, sure? I guess.

Buttercup: Not really. I mean, we pretty much fly all the time.

Charlie: Say, after we beat up that giant monster, you guys wanna go out for cupcakes? (In a sing song voice) I'm buying~!

Blossom and Buttercup: Uhh--

Charlie: Great! (zooms foward. Off screen.) WEEEE!

Blossom: (concerned) Uh, Buttercup, does something seem a little different about Bubbles?

Buttercup: (in envy and shock) Yeah, since when did she get taller?! Especially before me!

Blossom: It's not just her height. Everything seems different about her today. Agree to talk to the Professor about this when we get home?

Buttercup: Agree.

(Blossom and Buttercup zoom forward to catch up with "Bubbles". The standard Powerpuff Girls heart closing screen comes up.)

Narrator: So once again the day is saved thanks to...(Blossom appears) Blossom! (Charlie appears) Bubb--uh, I mean, Charlie! (Buttercup appears) and Buttercup! (The classic "THE END" screen from the tv show appears. The screen cuts to black. The credits roll.)

As the credits roll and "Bitter Letter" by BERRY ROLL (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VWS26DTopag) begins to play, we see what Charlie and Bubbles have done after the ending of the crossover special as their new character roles. In the first picture, in The Powerpuff Girls universe, we see Blossom, Charlie (still dressed as Bubbles), and Buttercup battling a giant monster, with the text on the picture saying, "Charlie gives up on her hotel dreams to become a Powerpuff Girl.". In the second picture, Charlie and the two actual Powerpuff Girls (Blossom and Buttercup) are sitting down at a table in a cupcake shop, happily partaking in cupcakes (a small sight gag is that the 5 cute cupcakes that are on the cupcake stand on the table are decorated to look like Vaggie, Angel Dust, Alastor, Niffty, and Husk). The text on the picture says, "She also buys cupcakes." In the third picture, in the Hazbin Hotel universe, we see that the outside of the hotel has gone from it's usual red color scheme to a bubblegum pink one. The building (along with the sign) is covered in glitter and cute stickers. The text on the picture says, "Princess Bubbles decided to make a few changes to the hotel." In the fourth picture, we see that the interior of the hotel is the same as the outside as it is also pink and has things covered in glitter and stickers. Bubbles also has some of her cute childlike drawings on the walls. The blue Powerpuff, still dressed as Charlie, standing next to a can of pink paint and holding in one hand a bottle of glitter and in the other a pack of stickers, smiles with satisfaction at the work that she's done. Meanwhile, Angel, Vaggie, and Husk look at the changes that Bubbles has made to the place in utter confusion, while Alastor glares menacingly at a cute picture of a dog that's on the wall that Bubbles drew. The only one who seems to like the hotel's girly makeover is Niffty, who's one eye shines in amazement at how the place now looks. The picture text says, "ALOT of changes." In the fifth picture, Charlie and Bubbles (still dressed as each other) are smiling and hugging as hearts are above them. The picture text says, "New besties!" The rest of the end credits consists of pictures of crossovers of different Hazbin characters in different Cartoon Network shows. In the first picture, in the Powerpuff Girls universe, we see the girls (Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup) in their room with Charlie and Vaggie. Charlie (still dressed as Bubbles) and Bubbles (still dressed as Charlie) are having a tea party with Octi and Bubbles' other stuffed animal toys, Vaggie (dressed as Blossom) and Blossom (dressed as Vaggie) smile as they complement each other on their new bows, and Buttercup excitedly flies around the room with Vaggie's spear. The pillows on the Powerpuff's bed are in tatters due to Buttercup using the spear on them. Vaggie, busy in conversation with Blossom, doesn't notice the third Powerpuff with her weapon. The text on the picture says, "Looks like the girls have some new friends!"

In the second picture, in Johnny Bravo's universe, we see Johnny proposing to Angel Dust, who looks both shocked and touched by this. The text on the picture says, "Johnny finally decides to propose." In the next picture, we see the both of them getting married (Johnny wearing the tux as the groom and Angel wearing the dress as the bride) as the text says, "The Wedding." And the third set of pictures are pictures that show off Johnny and Angel Dust's new life together as a couple doing couple activities such as going on dates, holding hands, having a picnic, and singing karaoke at a karaoke bar. The text says "Johnny Bravo x Angel Dust 4ever!"

(Btw Johnny has no idea that Angel Dust is a guy lol.)

In the third picture, in the Courage The Cowardly Dog universe, the sky in the middle of nowhere, which is now a blood red hue color, is covered in hoodoo symbols as Courage, Muriel, and Eustace scream while fleeing towards the farmhouse to safety as they are being chased by an army of Alastor's shadow demons. Alastor, who is now in his full demon form, is broadcasting his carnage all throughout the farm. The text on the picture says, "Seems like Courage has a new foe to face."

In the fourth picture, in the Teen Titans universe, inside Titans Tower, we see that all five of the superhero teens are stunned to see a small, one eyed yellow demon with short red hair (aka Niffty) happily tidying up their home with vigorous speed. The text on the picture says, "The Titans now have a maid! And boy, is she a cutie!" In the next photo, we see Niffty, along with the Titans, wearing different colored maid outfits. Niffty, (wearing a black maid outfit) shows off a happy grin while holding a duster and holds a peace sign near her eye, Robin (wearing a red maid outfit) is holding a spray bottle and cloth, and, from the expression on his face, isn't really digging the maid outfit like Niffty is since it isn't really his style, Raven (wearing the purple maid outfit) is holding a mop and is standing next to a bucket filled with soapy water. Like Robin, she isn't a big fan of the outfit either and the look on her face is just her usual gloomy, bored one. Starfire, on the other hand, is the exact opposite! She's beaming in utter delight and excitement as she joyfully twirls around in her new uniform while holding the ends of the dress. Cyborg and Beastboy (Cyborg wearing a blue maid outfit and Beastboy wearing a green one) are both being dorks, doing silly heroic poses. The text on the picture says, "T-e-e-n! T-i-t-a-n-s! Teen Titans! Let's Clean!"

In the fifth picture, in the Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends' universe, inside the Foster Home itself, we see Eduardo giving Husk a kind and sincere crushing bear hug. The purple monster was super elated by the new "imaginary friend" who had just arrived at the house! Husk, on the other hand, was clearly annoyed by the affection. Mac, Wilt, and Coco also were thrilled to see a new face at Foster's! Bloo seemed to be the only one who wasn't as excited as the others, making a facial expression that said, "What the heck kinda kid imagined this guy? Were they on something?" The text on the picture says, "Foster's has a new friend!"

In the sixth picture, in the Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi universe, inside a photo booth, we see Ami, Yumi, and Cherri Bomb posing in a photo picture. The captions that are next to each of them say their names in japanese kanji with emojis. For Ami, it's "大貫亜美💖🎤" for Yumi, it's "吉村由美💙💀" and for Cherri, it's "チェリーボム🍒💣". The text on the picture says "Hi Hi Cherri AmiYumi!".

In the seventh picture, in the Codename: Kids Next Door universe, in the KND treehouse, we see an action-packed battle between Sir Pentious and the Kids Next Door going on. Sir Pentious, of course, is backed up by his egg henchmen, while each KND member has their weapon. The text on the picture says, " Sir Pentious vs. The Kids Next Door! Who will win?"

In the eighth picture, in the Samurai Jack universe, two of Sir Pentious' egg henchmen are making up an adventure as one of them is dressed as Samurai Jack and the other one is dressed as Aku. The text on the picture says, "A Japanese samurai must embark on a mission to defeat the evil shape-shifting wizard Aku? Ooo, this looks egg-citing!"

In the ninth picture, in Chowder's universe, at the catering company, inside the kitchen, we see Molly and Chowder getting along just fine as they both work together to decorate a cake with frosting that has the same colors as the italian flag. The cake also has decorative toothpick italian flags sticking all over it. The two also have a bit of cake frosting on their faces and clothes (Molly even has a bit in her hair). Meanwhile, in the background, we can see Truffles flirting with Henroin, trying to get some of that spider you know what, (😏😉😏😉😩🕷️🍆💦🍆💦) and Henroin is OBVIOUSLY not up for it, giving the cashier a look that says, "Yeah, uh, hell no." We also see Mung and Schnitzel running away in utter terror from a food monster that's chasing them as Arackniss tries stopping the beast by shooting his gun at it. Molly and Chowder don't seem to see or notice the craziness that's going on in the background behind them. The text on the picture says, "Chowder is cookin' up some trouble with the mob!"

In the tenth picture, we see Chowder, (wearing Angel Dust's / Anthony's old 1940's suit and hat) Molly, Arackniss, and Henroin in a family photo. Chowder and Molly seem to be the only ones who are genuinely happy as they both have smiles on their faces, while Arackniss has his usual frown on his face, and Henroin just facepalms. The text on the picture says, "Chowder joins the family business!"

(I have a headcanon that Chowder joined because he found out that people who are in the mob get to wear a cool hat and suit, and also because he thinks that by being in the mafia he'll get an unlimited supply of italian food.)

In the eleventh picture, in the Dexter's Laboratory universe, in Dexter's lab, we see Dexter and Baxter working together on a science experiment. Meanwhile, in the background, Dee-Dee is doing what she does best - running around in Dexter's lab, happily destroying things. The text on the picture says, "Two Brains Are Better Than One".

In the twelfth picture, in the Scooby Doo universe, we see the gang and Fat Nuggets riding inside the mystery van. Fred, of course, is the one behind the wheel. The gang seem thrilled to have Fat Nuggets ride along with them, and Fat Nuggets (wearing a Sherlock Holmes costume) looked delighted to be accompanying the team. The text on the picture says, "Looks like the Scooby Gang have a 6th member!" In the thirteenth picture, Scooby and Fat Nuggets are with each other. Scooby was happily giving Fat Nuggets a piggyback ride. The demon pig (still dressed as Sherlock) was enjoying the ride that his new dog pal was giving him. The text on the picture says, "Scoob and Nuggs!"

In the last picture, in the Class of 3000 universe, at a park, we see a dance battle being held as Razzle and Dazzle dance alongside Sunny Bridges and his students. Razzle and Dazzle were having the time of their lives as well as Sunny and the kids. The text on the picture says, "Razzle and Dazzle really know how to throwdown!"

Once the end credits finish, the epilogue starts. In the Ed, Edd n Eddy universe, at Eddy's house, we see The Eds in the living room. An irritated Eddy is sitting on the couch with his arms crossed, Ed is in his underwear splashing about in the small inflatable pool that was inside the house as two empty pizza boxes float inside. There were also pizza boxes that were near the pool, but the "pizza" in them was really just dirt in the shape of pizza with some grass sprinkled on top as the cheese. The sign that was on the front side of the pool read "Ed Edd n Eddy's Indoor Pizza Pool Party!🍕🏊" Edd (also known as Double D) was the pool's lifeguard, holding a rescue buoy.

Eddy: This stinks!

Edd (Double D): What does, Eddy? Another failed scheme? We should be use to these by now.

Ed: Look at me Double D! I'm swimming! (Splashes in the pool) Splash, splash, splash!

Edd (Double D): Yes, Ed, I can see that.

Eddy: I ain't talking about the scheme, i'm talking about the credits!

Edd (Double D): Credits?

Eddy: The end credits! We didn't make one single appearance!

Edd (Double D): But Eddy--

Eddy: Now that I think about, we didn't even get to make a cameo in the special! I don't even think we've had our own crossover before. Can you believe that, Double D?! We've been working for this stinkin' network for years now and not once did we ever get to crossover with anyone!

Ed: Boy, the cartoon industry sure is a rough one, ain't it, Eddy?

Eddy: You can say that again.

Edd (Double D): Cheer up, Eddy. Only time will tell.

(The doorbell rings.)

Edd (Double D): That's strange, I didn't expect anyone to actually show up.

Eddy: (his irritation quickly turns to excitement as dollar signs appear in his eyes) They must be here for the pool party! (At Double D): Sockhead, go answer the door! (Rubs his hands together) Will be rich in no time!

(Meanwhile, at Ed's house, in Sarah's room, a tea party is going on. We see the red haired girl dressed up in a queen costume, Jimmy dressed up in a prince costume, and Moxxie is wearing a long, flowery dress and a summer hat. While Sarah and Jimmy seem to be having a fun time, Moxxie, of course, isn't, annoyed by the whole situation.)

Sarah: (giggles) Isn't this fun, Prince Jimmy?

Jimmy: It sure it, Queen Sarah! (Picks up the tea pot that's on the table.) More tea?

Sarah: Don't mind if I do! (Jimmy pours tea from the pot into Sarah's plastic tea cup. She takes a sip of the drink.) Mmm, delicious!

Moxxie: (facepalms) Ugh, this is so embarrassing!

Jimmy: Uh oh, Queen Sarah, it seems our new toy, Mr. Snugglekins, isn't having a good time.

Sarah: *gasps* That's no good! We'll have to fix that!

Moxxie: (irritated) For the last time, I. AM NOT. A TO--

Sarah: (stuffs some cake into Moxxie's mouth) Here, have some cake!

Jimmy: (with a plate of cookies) Try some of my amazing homemade cookies! They're fresh baked! (shovels cookies into Moxxie's mouth.)

Moxxie: (face filled with food) What the--?! (Immediately spits / coughs out the sweets.) Gross! That's disgusting!

Sarah: He must really like them, Jimmy!

Jimmy: We need to get more!

(Sarah and Jimmy quickly run out of the room to get more food.)

Moxxie: (gives them a "What the hell." look before sighing and looking into the camera at the audience.) I should have stayed in bed today.

For the epilogue picture, we see Blitzo, Eddy, Edd, Moxxie, Ed, Millie, Loona, and Jonny 2x4 at a sales stand that was being ran outside of Ed's house. The sign on the top of the stand reads, "Blitzo and Eddy's Cheap Bullsh*t Sale! Everything's only a quarter! This is NOT a scam!" The items that are being sold at the stand are mainly cheap, worthless objects, along with bobbleheads of Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, Loona, the Eds, and an Angel Dust body pillow for some reason. Blitzo and Eddy, both wearing top hats, (Blitzo wearing two through his horns) fake mustaches, and monocles stand in front in a 'welcome to the stand' pose as their direction is pointed in front of the store. They both have mischievious grins on their faces. Moxxie and Edd (Double D) are the sellers at the stand. They both look very tired and annoyed with everything. Millie and Ed happily hold up promotional signs for the stand. Loona is holding Plank, a question mark above her head as she wonders why she's holding this piece of wood and not her phone, while Jonny walks away from the stand with Loona's phone in his hand. The bald boy seems to take a liking to her device. The text on the picture says, "Helluva Eds: Coming in Summer 2090!"

A rigid gasp for air ends Dean’s tormenting dream. He bolts up in bed, sheets and yesterday’s clothes clinging to the cold sweat that covers every square inch of his skin. His heart is racing as if he just ran up ten flights of stairs, shivers wrecking his body. Eyes wide open he stares at the opposite wall, trying to calm himself by focusing on his breathing. It’s not real, Dean. Not yet. Not now.

The splitting headache that has haunted him ever since he locked Michael in that coolcell far in the back of his mind, pushes itself to the front, pounding behind his eyes in the rhythm of the archangel’s fists on the door. The hunter breathes in deeply and exhales, letting the air flow from his lips. He’s not in the box, he’s not drowning like he was a second ago, and although he knows it is written in Billie’s book that this will be how he will meet his end, he has to hold on to the present. Dean sighs and closes his eyes. I’m in control.

A knock on furnished wood draws his gaze towards his bedroom door, finding the tall silhouet of his brother, carefully pushing it open. Faint yellow light from the hallway reaches into room number eleven, illuminating only one side of Sam’s face, but it’s enough for Dean to make out the worried expression in his features. “Did I wake you?” Sam asks hesitantly. But the oldest of the Winchester brothers shakes his head, rubs his eyes and glances aside at his alarm clock. Not even 3 ‘o clock, so that gives him… two and a half hours of sleep? If you can call back to back nightmares sleep, anyway. Then Dean notices the scratches on the wall next to his bed, traces of crimson in the concrete. When he checks his right hand, he finds his fingertips bloody, his nails scraped away to the flesh.

The hunter shifts his gaze back to Sam, who honestly doesn’t look like his night was any better. “What are you doing up?”, he wonders. “Cataloging Bart Kemp’s stuff. Thought I might find something that could help us out. He owned a ton of occult objects,” Sam asserts. “Need a hand?” Dean shifts, flopping his legs over the side. Sam frowns at that. Dean who wants to catalog hundreds of ancient items? That’s a new one. “Sure you don’t wanna get some rest?” Sam returns doubtfully, watching how his brother straps on his boots. “Nah, I’m good. Can’t sleep anyway.” He gets up and runs his fingers through his hair, smoothening it out.

Avoiding his little brother’s concern, he pushes himself past Sam in the doorway, awkward unspoken words hovering between then. He can feel the tall hunter’s eyes, fixed to unravel what Dean is desperately trying to hide. Endless nights of terror as Michael wreaks havoc in his mind. Reliving the worst moments of his life and experiencing the new definition of hell that is yet to come. Trapped in the Ma’lak Box, screaming for help, for his brother, for Y/N, as he tries to crawl his way out while the water seeps in.

As Dean enters the library with Sam on his tail, he grabs yesterday’s half a bottle of Jack Daniels from the table, unscrews the cap and takes a swig. His eyes roam over the collection of curse boxes, books and scattered notes, again ignoring the look his brother is throwing him. He has never shied away from liquor, but these days he fills more whiskey tumblers than coffee mugs. Self-medicating, he keeps telling himself. Anything to shut the tremors down. “So, what we got?” he wonders, trying to steer the attention away. “Dean...” “Don’t.”

With an agitated sigh the oldest of the two sits down, dismissing his brother’s attempt to start the conversation that he’s been trying to avoid for weeks. But for a short second, his mask wears thin. It confirms the worries that keep Sam up at night as well. Suddenly his brother seems older than forty, the age that the hunter miraculously reached last month. He’s much older when you count the decades he spent in Hell. Add the losses he suffered, the pain he’s been through, sleepless nights and tainted dreams; he’s an old soul, tired and worn. Keeping the Archangel on lock down is becoming more difficult with each day. Especially now that Michael is trying to break him by using the woman Dean lost his heart to. “I heard you,” Sam admits. “I’m pretty sure the entire bunker did.” Dean rolls his eyes slightly before looking away, opening his mouth to fire a second warning. But then Sam drops the bomb. “I heard you call out for Y/N, too.”

Y/N. The name of the woman Dean loved more than he ever thought he would be capable of, especially after all the horror he bared witness to. The name that’s never mentioned, not because she’s not worth to remember, but because even after all those years, he’s still afraid that touching that subject will wreck him the same way her death did.

His heart starts to physically hurt as pressure on his chest builds. Struggling to hide the discomfort from showing, Dean has another swig of whiskey. He can’t prevent his jaw from clenching as he swallows down the alcohol, allowing the strong after burn to distract him. He could blow up on Sam, remind him of the fact that last time when he brought her up, Dean threatened to break his little brother’s nose if he ever would speak of her again. But Dean doesn’t counter. He’s too tired to fight Sammy, too. “What do you want me to say, Sam?” Sam spreads out his arms and lets them fall against his side, despondency in his stance. “Anything!” he exclaims, his voice a little higher and a little louder than he anticipated. “Dean, I know nightmares come with the job, but this isn’t normal. Not even for us.”

“Of course it’s not normal, Sam! Having a fucking Archangel trapped in my head ain’t a typical day at the office either! Who do you think is causing these dreams, huh?” Dean snaps, looking Sam in the eye for the first time that night. Then he takes a breath and collects himself. Stop being an ass, Dean. Sammy’s just worried. “Michael is pulling out all the stops to crush me before we pin him down. Keeping me quiet by giving me what I wanted didn’t work, so now he’s doing the opposite,” he continues, much calmer now. “During the day I can handle him, but at night…”

Mixed feelings cause the hunter to pause. He doesn’t want to burden his little brother with the weight that comes with the knowledge. He’s troubled enough as it is, frantically trying to find another way to expel Michael and lock him away where he can’t hurt anyone else. Another option, a scenario that doesn’t include his big brother on the bottom of the ocean in the Malak’ Box. But God, Dean needs an outlet. “So this is his new approach? He shows you your darkest days?” Sam assumes, frowning empathetically. Dean averts his eyes back to the bottle, his fingers around the glass body. “On the big screen,” he confesses. “I’m not just watching, though.” “What you mean?” The younger Winchester has taken a seat, leaning his elbows on the rosewood surface as he leans over the table. “I’m not a witness,” Dean begins to explain. “Sometimes I’m under water, like I’m in the Box already. Other times I experience memories I wish I could forget, exactly the way it went down. It… It feels real. I’m there, in the moment, but I can’t stop it. I can’t change what I did or didn’t do.”

Sam runs his hand through his dark hair, feeling terrible that his big brother is forced to endure this every time he closes his eyes. His mind floats back to the moment earlier tonight, when Dean’s screams reached his hearing. His own name echoed through the hallways, but the chilling cry when he called out for her, will stay with him for a much longer time. “Dean, Y/N’s death was not your fault,” Sam tries to assure him. But Dean disagrees, shaking his head as he leans back in his seat. “I was supposed to protect her. She shouldn’t have been there with me, Sam.” “She was our back up.” “Yeah, and it got her killed.”

Dean swallows down another slug of Jack Daniels and sniffs when he lowers the bottle, having downed almost a quarter of it’s content already. He bites his bottom lip hard, tempted to draw blood as he thinks about that day in Detroit. He remembers the argument they had before entering the apartment building where Lucifer held up. She refused to let the brothers go in by themselves, claiming that they needed a third man in case the plan went south and there was no one to finalize the mission. She didn’t just wanted to be there for them, she wanted to be there for him. He was about to lose his little brother forever, and she wanted to catch him before he fell to his knees. Dean allowed it reluctantly, and minutes later her skull was crushed against the concrete, bringing her short but meaningful life to a screeching halt.

He was supposed to have her back that night. She was his girl. His girl he failed to save. And it’s not just Y/N who haunts him, because the son of God was right. His father, the Harvelles, Ash, Bobby, Pamela, Charlie, Kevin… The list goes on. All perished either because they gave their life for the Winchesters, or because they got caught in the crossfire. That’s on him. Every loved one he ever lost lost, they are all casualties he blames himself for. He doesn’t need an Archangel to remind him of his wrongs.

Dean rises to his feet and pushes his chair back, its legs drawing such a loud screech from the smooth furnished floor, that Sam startles. Both were lost in thought for a moment, until the oldest of the two snaps out of it and decides that it’s time to get to work. “Let’s not dwell on the fact that Michael is making my time in Hell look like Disney World. As long as I’m still sane, I much rather spend my night finding a way to end him.” He frowns at his little brother, his mask back on. “What do we got?” The younger Winchester gathers his thoughts and shifts some notes aside. “Well, uh - amongst all this there are a few artifacts that could be interesting. One of them is called the Pearl of Baozhu. It’s one of the eight ancient Chinese treasures.” “What does it do?” Dean wonders. “It grants wishes. Technically it’s supposed to give you ‘what your truly heart desires’.” Hopeful Sam looks up to the hunter at the head of the table, who shrugs and seems to consider it. “That would be Michael out of my head,” he concludes. “Exactly.” Dean takes a look around at the stack of boxes. “So you’re telling me that the answer to our problems is sittin’ somewhere in this pile of shit?” “Better start digging,” Sam suggests, pushing a box in his direction.

Serenity lingers in the bunker in the early hours of a new day. The table lamps spread their light over the surface underneath, their rays warm and gentle for tired eyes. Dean is surrounded by several boxes and books, going through a journal while leaning back in his chair and with his ankles crossed, somewhat more relaxed now that he contributes to something useful. He’s nursing his whiskey, kept busy in search for a clue in order to find the Pearl. It’s a few minutes past five in the morning, when Sam opens his third box of the night and reveals a small bag, the silk fabric tied together with a yellow cord. Curiously Sam takes it out and loosens the tie, unfolding a little red cushion, on which a perfect round shape rests. “Dean.” “Hm?” His brother doesn’t look up immediately, biting the end of pen as he scans through Bart Kemp’s notes. “I think this is it,” Sam states, looking down at the tiny object that could be the solution to everything. Now he does captures Dean’s attention, his green eyes darting up from sloppy handwriting to the little white ball. “That’s the Pearl?” he checks, for some reason expecting something so powerful to be bigger. Sam nods, hope pulling at the corner of his mouth. Intrigued Dean rises to his feet and circles the table, his eyes fixed on the powerful artifact. “Let’s do it.” “Are you sure you don’t want to call Mom, or wait for Cas?”, his brother suggests, somewhat anxiously. “No,” Dean dismisses, taking the unfolded red cushion in both hands gingerly. ‘If this mojo works like you say; great. If not; why get their hopes up?”

Sam holds his brother’s gaze for a moment, wondering if that’s all there is to Dean’s eagerness, or that the real reason why he’s jumping the gun, is his desperation for expelling the Archangel from the Alcatraz that is his mind. Deciding that this is not the time to test that theory, he agrees. “Okay, so…” Dean reaches for the Baozhu, not sure if he can touch it without consequence. “What do I do?” “I don’t know.” The younger brother shrugs hesitantly. “I… I guess you hold the pearl and concentrates on what your heart desires?” “Michael out of my head.” The man holding the Pearl imprints the sentence into his brain, while Sam shoots his sibling a short glare, as if just stated the obvious. “Got it,” Dean reassures, just a little too quickly.

To Sammy it might seem cut and dry, but the man who is about to make a wish isn’t so sure. He could think of a list of things he would want differently. What would the world look like if the Yellow Eyed Demon hadn’t come after his family? If all evil would disappear from the face of the earth, just like that? Would Mom have raised her sons to have a normal childhood? Would his father still be around? Would Cas have descended from Heaven? Would Dean’s path crossed Y/N’s? Would she be alive?

Dean regains his focus, picks up the little white ball from the cushion and holds it between his thumb and his index finger. Michael out of my head. That’s all he needs to keep in mind. Right now, that is all he wants. Before he rolls the Baozhu into the palm of his hand, the brothers exchange one last look, but then Dean encloses his fingers around the tiny treasure with such great power, and shuts his eyes. With furrowed brow Dean concentrates.

It only takes a few seconds before an eerie electric static reaches his hearing, triggering him to look up. The wall lamps in the library flicker violently, until the power shortage causes the back up generators to start running. All secondary equipment is switched off and the emergency lights come on, draping the Winchesters in a red gleam. Sam observes his surroundings allerted, his eyes adjusting to the sudden darkness. Cautiously the men try to pick up on even the slightest movement or sound, their senses heightened, driven by instinct.

�� Then they hear footsteps. Sam pulls his gun from behind his waistband in a split second, aiming at the central War room. His brother isn’t as quick on the draw, though, a hint of familiarity in the way the boots sound on the marble floors slowing him down. “Dean? Sam?”

Right there and then, Dean’s heart stops. He knows that voice, he’d recognize it anywhere. Soft and clear, just like he remembers, just like he dreamed. Shell shocked he stares down at the other room, where a silhouette appears from around the corner. Now he inhales sharply, wide eyes fixed on the figure approaching. No way… It can’t be.

The power switches back on, the ominous red emergency rays replaced with warm bright light. It reveals Dean’s careful suspicion and it knocks the air out of his lungs. He must be dreaming again. That, or he’s having a hallucination. It wouldn’t be far fetched, sleep deprivation and alcohol consumption considered. But when he steals a glance at Sam, he sees the same shocked expression while his brother slowly lowers his gun. “Y/N?” he stammers.

She walks up the steps and halts under the arched entrance to the library, a little out of breath after her run down the hallways of this immense place. She glances from one Winchester brother to the other, her wild eyes leaving Dean for a second as she looks around at the impressive library. She doesn’t recognize the place, but despite the brick walls and lack of windows, it feels welcoming and safe. Wait, is that a telescope? “What in the Hell? Where the fuck are we?” she wonders, returning her gaze to Sam. “And what happened to you guys? You both look like you aged a decade overnight.”

Sam lets the air flow from his lips with a short huff, not sure if she’s trying to be funny or doesn’t have a clue what is going on. It’s so unmistakably her, though. The wit, the way she lights the room, a carelessness in her stroll as she enters the library. This is, without a shadow of a doubt, his friend, the closest he ever had to a sister. He can’t take his eyes off her, and he’s not the only one. It doesn’t go unnoticed, because Y/N bounces her focus between the boys, frowning at the evident shock on their faces.

“W- why are you looking at me like that?” Uncomfortably she rubs her arm, her gaze now fixed on Dean.

Unable to answer, he dumbfoundedly stares, his mouth agape. A mix of disbelief and astonishment has the hunter frozen on the spot, something that rarely ever happens to him. In his nightmares the Ma’lek Box would slowly fill up, until he drowned. In reality it’s his emotions that overflow the walls of his mind, the waterline rising until it reaches his eyes. Mystic green shimmers, his vision fogging, but he still sees her. He still sees the woman he lost, yet never stopped loving.

Finally he’s able to move, stepping forward tentatively. With each step, Dean gets a little braver and closes the gap between them. When she’s at arm’s length, he stops, frantic eyes darting to take in every feature he never wants to forget. Afraid to burst the bubble, he slowly lifts his hand to her face. What if he touches her and she turns out to be nothing more than a mirage? An apparition of his hopes and dreams, crumbling to dust once he gets too close? Michael has played these kind of mind games before and it wrecked the broken hunter every time his fairytale world fell apart. But like he has done all those times, he reaches for her anyway, because what if this time, it is real?

His fingertips brush her soft skin, sending a shiver down her spine. Overcome by both love and fear that speak from his watering eyes, she returns a worried gaze. Not daring to speak, she keeps looking at Dean as he cups her face, brushing a messy strand away with his thumb. It’s clear as day that the connection moves the person who has such an important part in her life.

Feeling her under his touch, being able to connect with her when he thought he would never be able to again, it’s too much. He swallows down the lump that creeps up his throat, tears threatening to breach the walls. She’s here. Fuck, she’s really here.

Dean takes a final step towards the woman of his dreams while he pulls her in and, without wasting another second, he does what he has been longing for ever since her shattering death. He presses his lips to hers, kissing her with everything he has. For a short second he feels her tense against him, but then she slips her hands around his forearms and she answers him, melting into the kiss. The man who regained what he had lost can’t help the tremble in his breath, can’t stop the teardrops from rolling down his cheek. He doesn’t care about showing vulnerability, because finally… finally he got her back.

They part and she opens her beautiful eyes, confounded by his actions. A small yet genuine smile forms, breaking the shimmering paths of sorrow that came down his cheeks. Then the hunter pulls her in a tight hug, burying his face in her hair. Her heart beats against his chest rapidly and he can smell the shampoo she always used, feel the warmth she’s radiating. Memories roll into shore and the tough hunter holds back a sob. Noticing his distress, Y/N folds her arms around his back, giving him a squeeze that calms him down like only she could. God, does this feel good. She came back to him. It’s then and there that me makes himself a promise. I’m never gonna let this go.

“Dean, you’re scaring me,” Y/N whimpers after a while. The older Winchester brother snaps out of it and loosens his grip on her, distancing himself from her slightly, now that he realizes he lost track of time for a moment. He struggles to man up and shoots her another reassuring smile, not wanting to upset her. “I’m sorry,” he utters, his voice raw and on the verge of breaking. “It’s just… It’s really good to see you after all this time.” Puzzled she looks at him, not sure what he means by that. “What are you talking about? I saw you last night.”

Dean narrows his eyes at her in confusion. She saw him last night? How is that even possible? She’s been gone for nine years! “What day is it?” It’s Sam who asks, drawing both their attention. Y/N looks aside, then averts her eyes as she thinks. Monday, or is it Tuesday? As a hunter, there is no routine. Nights last long and days fly by, blending together endlessly. She forgets what part of the week it is all the time, nothing new there. Home Depot was closed when she went out to pick up a few errands yesterday; that makes it Sunday. Which makes today... “Monday,” she decides. Sam motions her to continue. “Monday, October 20th,” she adds. “2008.”

Stunned both boys look at her, the youngest of the brothers letting out a sigh now that his suspicion has been confirmed. “Y/N, it’s 2019,” Dean informs, his voice soft to cushion the blow. She cocks her head back at him, staring into his green eyes. Then she chuckles, shaking her head. She scoffs. “No, c’mon, guys. That’s… that’s insane.” But when both men keep a straight face that doesn’t in the slightest suggest that this is a joke, the grin on her lips fades. Unable to grasp what is happening, she takes a step back.

“How?” She questions firmly after a long silence, an uneasiness oozing through her veins. “I think we - uh…” Sam stammers, not sure if he believes it himself. “I think we summoned you.” Large eyes bore into him, then shift back to Dean, who watches empathetically how she struggles to process the information. Her gaze drifts off to nothing in particular, going over their words. This isn’t happening. This is fucking insane. Last week they wrapped up a hunt in Pennsylvania during Oktoberfest that involved a shapeshifter with a fetish for old school monster movies. That was enough crazy for one week, if you ask her. And now they are telling her that she was fast forwarded eleven years in time? “You boys better tell me what the fuck is going on,” she demands. “Right now.”

Hello dear Fandom!! How are you? This is another chronicle from my Destiel Chronicles.

I will talk in this meta, about how Bobby was foreshadowing the whole Castiel's POV in episode 6x21.

First of all, I want you to picture Bobby as Cas here, and everything will be easy to read.

Ok, are you ready? Let's start with this...

Castiel asked for help

Coming back to episode 6x03, we have Edlund writing this scene...

Castiel... Asking for help to the WINCHESTERS brothers, and Soulless Sam mocking bc he was asking for help to him one entire year and Castiel didn't appear. But, remember I wrote about time being different in Heaven, times passes faster there. So a year could be days... IDK.

The important thing here is CASTIEL ACTUALLY ASKING FOR HELP. Edlund wrote it. And that's a fact. But not the help we needed him to ask for... Isn't? Well. *Sobbing*

Bobby foreshadowing the whole situation with Castiel

Ok... let's start now with episode 6x04 "Weekend at Bobby's" if you watch this episode, you'll be saying "poor Bobby" for sure. He has a tough life. He has to do so many things. He doesn't even have time for love, or eating some cake, and besides the boys call him all the time and they don't even listen t Bobby's problems... Well... If you carve a little more... You will find Cas in Bobby...

Let's start with the first phone call Dean made to Bobby... He was busy, ofc... Trying to find out how to break the deal with Crowley, and... Dean tells him... This particular line...

Writers choose the word FALL maybe to remind us about Castiel's fall. And the mocking tone in Dean's voice denote he's mad bc Bobby took his time to answer him. The same with Castiel. The continuous demand coming from Dean to Castiel for help him and his brother. Like a claim. "Why you are not HERE right away IN THE MOMENT I NEED YOU? We saw in the previous Chronicles how Dean was demanding Castiel for his lack of attention to Dean's prayers and problems. Well... Here we have a big foreshadow for that.

But this isn't finished yet... The demand from Dean continued...

DEAN (over the phone): This thing is on a rampage. Call us as soon as you dig something up.

Bobby looks anxious.

BOBBY: Dean, I'm a little busy.

"I'm busy" says Bobby, and is the same excuse Castiel's says everytime Dean is demanding from him attention "I'm at war." Castiel is busy too.

And this one here...

Wow, now Dean is piss, what is more important than me or my brother? Is the same situation and reclaim he made to Cas: "What is more important than me, and my brother without soul, Cas???"

DEAN (over the phone): Hello?

BOBBY: I – I hear you, son. I – it just ain’t a good time.

DEAN (over the phone): Yeah, okay. You know what – Forget it. I mean I'm baring my soul like a freaking girl here and, uh –And you've got stuff to do. So that is – that's fine...That's fine but, seriously, a little selfish.

Bobby, as Castiel, hears Sam and Dean's problems/prayers, but ain't a good time.

Bobby is so done with this childish behavior here, that he decides to talk with him and with Sam.

Now... Please pay attention to Bobby's words here... Remember... He's Castiel's mirror...

BOBBY: I'm selfish? Me? I do everything for you! Everything! You need some lores scrounged up...

BOBBY: You need someone to bitch to about each other...

Sam looks at Dean, puzzled.

BOBBY (over the phone): You call me and I come through – Every damn time! And what do I get for it!? Jack with a side of squat!

Aaaaand dejá vu my friends... "I did everything for you..." So Cas... That time when he kicked Dean's ass... And now the foreshadow... "I always come when you call." With those lamb's eyes I can't handle... Excuse me... *runs and cries*

But specially the line in the gif... Mentioning the fire (Hell), Castiel saved Dean and Sam both from PERDITION, so that's another clue for us to make think about Bobby being here a blantant Cas mirror.

But how this whole mess ends? Like this...

BOBBY (over the phone): Now look. I know you've got issues. God knows I know. But I got a news flash for you. You ain't the center of the universe! Now, it may have slipped your mind… that Crowley owns my soul! And the meter is running! And I will be damned if I'm going to sit around and be damned! So how about you two sack up and help me for once?

What I marked in red... Yeap, pathological codependency... Loved by Gamble 😒

And then...

The boys decided to help Bobby, right away when he asked him for help... This will be the difference with Castiel.

And if you have doubts yet, in episode 6x07 "Family Matters" we had this exchange of words between Dean and Cas...

CASTIEL: Sam, Dean... I have to get back.

DEAN: You're leaving?

CASTIEL: I'm in the middle of a civil war.

(The excuse again.)

This again, Sassy Castiel calling Dean selfish. But as always... Dean is blind with his issues and his brother's issues too... Repeat with me... Pathological codependency.

To Conclude

Bobby was in episode 6x04 a Castiel mirror and a foreshadow of the future situation between Dean and Cas.

He even quoted some classic Destiel phrases.

The pathologic codependency is everywhere when Sam was soulless, and Dean couldn't think in other problem than that. Thank you Sera. 😒

5 Quality Yet Accessible Tragic Anime You Should Watch

Let’s talk about tragedy in anime. Ain’t nothin’ like watching some sad anime boys experiencing sad things while I sit there and cry. I love tragedy in anime, there’s just a certain satisfaction in ‘dissatisfaction’. Sometimes, it’s far more meaningful for someone to lose a fight, to make a hard decision or sacrifice something. Maybe the hero never saves the girl, or a loved one just doesn’t make it. Yes, in a perfect world everyone ends up happy, but this isn’t a perfect world. People suffer, and sometimes it ends on a good note, sometimes everything goes to hell and the world burns. That gritty realism and human error adds a level of empathy and depth to many shows that would otherwise lack it. I personally think it’s worth talking about that, since I don’t think tragic anime get enough love.

So I thought I’d make a quick list of 5 accessible yet Quality tragedy series, ranging from pretty popular and accessible, to slightly more niche. Many of you have seen these series I’m sure, but with the continuous stream of shows being released every single season, it can be hard to either go back and watch older shows, or stay on top of newer ones. These are just a few picks that I would urge anyone and everyone to go and at least try.

I should also preface this by saying, when I say tragedy, it doesn’t mean the show has a depressing ending. By tragedy I’m referring to tragic events happening in a show regularly, be it at the end, the beginning or throughout. Simply putting something on this list, doesn’t mean it has a tragic ending, so you can rest assured there are still surprises to come when watching these.

Also, these are all my opinions, everyone is entitled to them. You can disagree or agree, it’s up to you, we can even discuss my peeps. Just don’t brutalize me for shows you don’t like or if one of your favorites isn’t on this list.

All of that being said, Here are 5 tragic series I think everyone should at least try:

1. Code Geass

Starting off simple we have Code Geass. What a show this was back in the day. Death Note, mixed with Mechs and sci-fi and chess and a whole lot of edge. For many people, they have already seen it, it’s almost guaranteed if you watched anime in the early 2000s. However, as time goes on, this series slowly falls into obscurity, many people being less attracted by its flamboyant art style and the ever growing age. It seems like Code Geass is slowly fading away with time, people online aren’t forgetting about it, but moving on, and many new fans are understandably detracted from a show like this.

But they’re all wrong. This series is incredible. It’s a fundamental “must-watch” show. Sure, it shows it’s age now, but that doesn’t detract from it’s plot and characters. With a very likeable cast, a constantly expanding story, high stakes, insane powers and mind games, politics and action, all of these make an insanely good series, one that warrants repeated viewing to this day. What starts as a boy being in the wrong place at the wrong time, blows up into a worldwide conflict. This is one of those series that sticks with you, there are scenes and moments in this you just never forget moving forward.

Some of the things I love is Sunrise’s mech designs, Lancelot as well as many of the Knightmare frame designs in the movies and show are still fun and vibrant to this day. Many old Mecha shows become redundant years later as the designs don’t hold up. This one though, certainly does.

I also really love the voice acting. Yes the sub is good, but the dub (fight me) is just mwah. Johnny Yong Bosch as Lelouch is nut worthy. Just watch the first episode where he gives his first command. Insta nut. I’m telling you.

I also love the endings of both seasons. I think the first is a really good climax, while the second season closes about as well as this could, while still coming out of left field.

Some things that I think detract people, definitely start with the art style. Sunrise’s designs for the machines and backgrounds and such is fine, it looks good, however Clamp’s character designs are definitely an acquired taste. They’re not for everyone. Everyone looks super slender, almost cartoon like in their clothes and proportions. Yes you get used to it, but they still look very “different” to the standard, even back when it first came out.

Another is sometimes, the show just goes to very strange places, for example having an episode to do with drug addiction that just came out of left-field. In the same vein, some people have very mixed opinions on season two, not entirely liking the direction it goes and some of the character developments. However, a lot of these things are subjective and I’ll leave them up to you to decide.

Spanning two, 25 episode seasons (you can definitely just pretend the movie never happened) as well as several spin off OVAs and Shorts (Those you actually can watch though), the series is a pretty long watch by today’s standards, but it’s definitely worth it.

2. Zankyou No Terror

Next up, we have Terror in Resonance. This one for sure is worth the watch even without the tragedy. This is one of those shows, which is so visually appealing to watch. It’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing shows I’ve ever seen. I guarantee anyone who’s interested in aesthetic gifs and images of weeb stuff, has seen shots from this show without even realizing it. It’s not exactly a niche show, but it’s a little less accessible than something like “Angel Beats”, with a much more serious and gritty tone. It’s not criminally underrated, but I just really wish more people had seen this, since it genuinely is a beautiful series.

Some of the things I really love about this show, is (as I’ve mentioned a thousand times) the aesthetic sense. Every shot in this series is screenshot worthy, with plenty scenes making for ‘straight-out-the-box’ gifs and icons and whatever it is you kids use screenshots for. Even the food, just like papa Gigguk mentioned, is just mwah, spicy stuff. I attribute this to the very well considered color palette, realistic lighting and designs, as well as just overall good cinematography.

On the less visible side of things, the story hold ups really well too, with some very genuinely emotional moments and scenes. Just like Code Geass above, this series has a very well considered ending, with a “Wholesome”(?) message at the end.

The only negatives I can really give for the series, is some pacing issues if you’re an impatient brat like me, as well as almost a complete lack of lightheartedness. The series can be sweet and touching, but it’s almost always dark and serious at the same time, with no time to relax or breathe throughout.

I think there isn’t as much to say about ZnT as there is about Code geass, as it’s not as subjective. It is an objectively high quality show, your own enjoyment of it is what varies. Unlike Code Geass, there isn’t many flaws, but it doesn’t take as many risks. To me, this show is a very safe bet. It looks gorgeous, is only 11 episodes (you big boys and girls can binge that) and tells a satisfying, self-contained story. A little bonus is that it’s directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, famous for Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, so hey- It has that going for it too.

3. Parasyte: The Maxim

Following on, we have one of the series that introduced me to tragedy, Parasyte: The Maxim. Let me tell you, this series is dark. And violent. Very violent at times.

When it first aired in 2014, the response was pretty good, it didn’t reach critical Acclaim, but had its own cult following, with the manga having been published from the late 80s to the mid 90s. For me, this was one of my first truly “darker” and more violent anime, having really only watched shounen and some seinen before that. This to me isn’t one of the best stories ever, the characters are fine, and the show looks acceptable. But while it doesn’t excel in anything, it does everything really well. To me, it’s the perfect bridge from Casual fan, to serious- or even as a primer for more dark and violent stories, such as Berserk or dare I say it Tokyo Ghoul (Read the manga, please don’t support the anime adaptation).

For me personally, I really Liked the main character, he drove the show on for me. Watching him develop into someone completely different from the beginning of the show, was a real draw to me. He’s likeable, relatable to an extent, and he had a complete character arc. Shinichi in the beginning is not the same character as in the end.

This character is also used to convey a deeper meaning about what humanity is and how we define the term. It’s a really interesting series about us as a race, with some genuine things to discuss and think about, which leaves a longer lasting impression than most shows. It’s the sort of series that makes you want to share it with other people just so you can talk to them about it. Ah- and it’ll hit you in the feels. This show is genuinely tragic through out, but still stays personal to the small cast, which to me, is the sign of a really good tragedy. Despite things going on in the entire world, they make you care about these few people specifically.

However, it has it’s own problems too. Art wise, it’s very faithful to the original source material, capturing the feel of it, the low key oppressive vibes. However, this also means, it can look a little… ‘Bland’? At times. The earthy colors can be a little drab, especially in an age were Studio Trigger, for example, can make an eye-gasm worthy scene using colours you didn’t even know existed.

The other problem, is some of the characters are very one dimensional. Take the love interest, she doesn’t really develop or change at all throughout the series, but I personally give this a pass as she’s not super relevant to the story anyway.

A fair warning though, this series has some strong violence, plenty of gore and mutilation, if that’s a problem for you, I suggest either giving this one a skip, or just trying to sit through it. It’ll be a good learning experience.

Spanning a fair 24 episodes, having aired in 2014, this series is both bingeable, and holds-up very well in the modern ecosystem of anime. To me, this is a pretty top tier show, a solid 8/10, it’s very good, a really well made show, It makes for the perfect bridge into far more serious and dark stories, such as maybe Berserk and Devilman, hence why I put it on this list.

4. Fate/Zero

For my second to last show, perhaps one of the most well known franchises, that is lowkey kinda niche. Fate is a series everyone knows the existence of, but not as many people have actually watched, especially not casual fans. To be frank, it’s intimidating. The series has no real easy entry point, and all the timelines are relatively interwoven, you can’t just bounce around. Everything spoils everything and it’s scary to even look at a list of fate entries.

That’s why I picked Fate Zero. To me, it’s the best entry point into the Type/Moon genre. For those of you who don’t know, it’s basically a battle royal between seven summoners who each have a servant of different classes. They all have to fight for the Holy Grail, an artifact that will grant them a single wish. Sounds simple right?

Well it’s not. The entire series is full of not only badass action, but plenty of mind games and ‘cat-and-mouse’ between the characters. It’s brutal, it’s tragic, violent and uplifting. Ufotable delivers some of the highest quality animation you’ll see in your life (they’re renowned for it), but it doesn’t just look good. The story is compelling, the characters are genuinely likeable and by the end, I wanted everyone to live and survive. Everyone has believable and compelling motivation, and even the objectively evil characters, like Caster, are still likeable, because you begin to love to hate them. The entire season honestly plays out more like a compressed microcosmic version of Game of Thrones, than a battle royal anime.

There are plenty of things I like about this series, the plot is really fun, the fights are pretty damn cool and it can be a very emotional show at times. I could talk about these aspects endlessly. However, the thing that really makes Fate for me, is the characters. Each individual characters gets some time and attention, and with the exception of a few, you really genuinely like and care about everyone. You want everyone to win, or at least survive, since all of them are either genuinely lovable, or have very compelling motivation.

The other part to it is, this is the best starting point for the rest of Fate, and I would actually argue that it enhances many scenes found in the subsequent (story wise) series, even if they aired prior to Zero. This series both introduced me to Fate, and got me attached and invested in the world, which is the sign of a good (technically) first series.

On the other hand, it has problems. First of all, it’s pretty interwoven with the later series. Those came before it and set up a lot of mysteries and ideas that Zero goes out of it’s way to explain, from character identities to events in the timeline, watching Zero will spoil a lot of those things, which may lessen the later experiences for some people.

The other flaw is despite being maybe the best starting point for Fate, it still isn’t entirely accessible. The show can be straight up confusing at times, at least for someone who hasn’t seen Fate. Many elements of the world aren’t explained and you’re just expected to go along with it, since it’s either just a part of this world, or explained in other series. Which is fine, but often lead to some rather “But wait… What just happened?” moments.

Ultimately, Fate/Zero is fantastic series for anyone looking for a really good character drama, full of magic and badass historical references. It’s not the best introduction but it’s the best you’ll get from Fate. Similarly to Code Geass and ZnT, the series has a really good conclusion in my opinion, with plenty of tragic moments sprinkled throughout.

For Fate, Zero specifically consists of two seasons of 12 episodes each, for a bingeable 24 episode series. For ideas where to go next from this, look for my upcoming Tumblr Post explaining the fate continuity.

5. Mobile Suit Gundam : Iron-Blooded Orphans

And Finally, we come to our last pick of the day. This is a series, I would urge anyone to watch. If I could make you watch one Single series from this list, this would be it. Throw away any views you have on the franchise or the genre, don’t be afraid of the name, just give this series a try.

Iron Blooded Orphans follows a small mercenary band of boys who just want to make a home for themselves in a galaxy strained by political unrest. The premise is simple, just people trying to survive and make a life for themselves.

Well what if I told you it was directed and written by the same Duo that made AnoHana, one of the most commonly acknowledged tragic shows out there. This duo write and direct stories about innocent children being put through immense hardship and this series is no different. This show is tragic, painful even. I sobbed as many times as I laughed and smiled in this show. We spend a season watching them come up in the world, only to watch everything get torn apart in the second season, and it is genuinely emotional and heart wrenching.

Something I love about this series, is the characters and how attached you become to them. Death is a genuine threat in this show, even if you don’t feel it in the beginning. When people die, it hurts, and that applies to IBO, where each death leaves resounding ripples on the people around them. It handles familial relationships really well, making you believe in these people and their emotions. When they suffer, you cry for them, and when they get brief moments of respite, you do too. I love how invested you become in this ragtag team of boys, making some of the later scenes all the more devastating when they happen.

Another thing I love is the stakes. Within the second season, the pressure to perform is on, the first season, while having threats and such, was never even close to season two. To be vague, one of my favorite moments is when a character has to land a decisive shot in the midst of a battle, and everyone’s lives are on the line. That entire confrontation is one of my favorite scenes in anime of all time. It is truly suspenseful and will take you on an emotional journey.

To top it all off, it’s made by Sunrise. If you like Mechs, well oh boy do they have you covered, and if you don’t- well oh boy, you will when you’re done. This show makes the mech Genre, and Gundam entirely accessible, you need no prior knowledge, you don’t need to be a fan to enjoy it. The fights are really fun and have genuinely cool moments, as cool as it can get for a mech anyway. The characters and story are well written and everything just comes together to make a very well produced show- Good job Sunrise.

It doesn’t go without it’s own problems though. The first 20 ish episodes, until they get to earth, are not pointless, but have some pacing issues, as well as low stakes. There are threats and people die, but you never feel that scared or intense. Then towards the end of season one, the show kicks into high gear. To counteract this slow start, the series has a phenomenal season two that I genuinely believe everyone should watch, as it’s a perfect example of character drama done exceptionally well.

The series is comprised of two seasons of 25 episodes each, totaling a measly (if you’re a big boy or girl) 50 episodes. There is several related forms of media, nothing worth mentioning though, for more Gundam, you’re better off watching other series from the franchise.

If I can only force you to watch one, please go out and watch Iron Blooded Orphans. To me, it’s 9- pushing a 10/10 series, with a undeniably slow start, but a fantastic heart felt, emotional ending.

“Shaving People, Punting Things”-Promo for the 2nd Half of Season 13 “Siamo Tornati” a.k.a. “We’re back!”

Alright, like always when something new is released, I am fast asleep halfway around the world. So of course I am late to the party and no one needs another post on any of this, but here I go anyway… ;P Just wanted to briefly touch on the aspects I found interesting in this little snippet - though of course we know the episodes always drastically change in tone to these promos the show puts out. Still… there may be one thing or another that could be a sneak peek into something possibly more interesting.

Of course most of this seems to be centered around the spin off given most of the shots feature the cast of Wayward, the bits that I find most interesting however I feel may be more part of the overall bigger arc of “Supernatural” and the story of the Winchesters - saying it again, I wished the show would put as much effort into its look, the locations and shots and darkness at all times and not just for the spin off episodes, because in quality those differed quite a bit to most other episodes written under Dabb as showrunner.

But I’m going to stop ranting and just briefly, bullet style mention which moments spark thoughts:

1) Fire in the bunker: Or at least I assume it’s a door in the bunker since it looks so much like the one to Dean’s room which was featured with the long shot in 9x14 “Captives”. Will be interesting to find out how that one plays out. I have mused many a times about the bunker possibly (needing) to burn down in order for the show to progress further and for the Winchesters to “move on” literally - after all so much devastating stuff happened in these four walls. So yeah, colour me curious on that one and if someone puts the bunker on fire on purpose (maybe Lucifer who can’t get to his son hiding out there? or maybe Jack accidentally lights it up?)

2) Red boots and red hexbags: I adore that shot just for the visual alone. I suppose it could mark the re-introduction of Rowena? Or maybe even Sister Jo (definitely loved that shot of Danneel as well - I am not sure but it could either be Jack or Mary, rather thinking the latter behind her in the frame).

3) Castiel’s smile and Bobby’s weary eyes: I don’t know about you, but Castiel’s smile kind of gives me goosebumps, because we have not seen Cas smile like that in a long time, so immediately I think that this may not be Cas. Then again, I could see Cas smiling about and feeling delighted about the fact that Lucifer is locked up and can’t get to Jack. In relation to Bobby there ain’t much to say since you really can’t take away much from one close up, but still to me it feels like Otherworld!Bobby may “remember” something from another life…

4) The guy at the truck stop: This fella could be anyone of course, but I think the show has used him before. And I feel vaguely reminded of the guy who prays to “God” in Season 5 when Dean tells him he can call Michael down. Plus: Cliché look wise one could associate the looks of the guy with how Jesus is depicted often times, but that may be accidental - then again it would not be completely surprising if the show decided to actually bring Christ into play. Though I have to admit I think I would not be a huge fan of that since the show has worked so cleverly with Team Free Will all at times filling the role of christ. So in that regard to me there is no need to introduce “Jesus”.

5) The “Bad Place”-Traveler and a Knockout: It seems to me that when Sam and Dean return from Jurassic World, they may bring back someone from that world and just sound wise that being reminds me majorly of the “Chitters” in S11. The way they moved, the clicking sounds… I don’t know it just gave me similar vibes - though of course the chitters had green and not red eyes. That episode back then to me always also alluded to so much more - the whole aspect of a new species and something “dark with wings hatching” could be re-introduced. I suspect though that if the show wanted to tie the beginning of the season into it they could retcon the shedim maybe living in that world… I guess we’ll see. My gut feeling still tells me that that traveler is somehow connected to Kaia and serves as her “shadow self” and with that works as a parallel to Dean’s MoC arc, which was paralleled to Kaia in the mid season finale (as talked about here and here). Plus, I feel like the fist through the door and Dean punching Sam (he somehow doesn’t look like he may be the one calling the shots there, but it’s hard to tell in those milliseconds) both loosely call back to the MoC arc as well.

6) The one with the head hanging down: This shot to me feels like it is played about to be one of the most integral aspects of the second half, but I could be entirely wrong. In any case it sems whoever that is has been locked up for quite a while. Just hair wise one could assume Aesmodeus, but I don’t think that’s the case. Hair and clothing wise I personally had to immediately think of Gavin McLeod, but that is unlikely as well. Then I wondered about the truck stop guy and whether he may be the one Donna tells to “not lie to God” and then I had to also think of Metatron. I guess it will be none of any of those options lol, but most sense would possibly make the truck stop guy. Personally, what I would find to be most compelling and which I guess isn’t ever going to be the case, is if they finally introduced normal SPN-universe’s Michael and that would be him…

So yeah, that’s about ir. Like I said, no one needs another post on it. Sorry!!! Therefore last but not least, Dean’s ending line. I’m sure it’s entirely meant to be taken in relation to the episode it’s in, still I personally have felt for a while that SPN may have 1 and half seasons left at most…

Episode 10 - "I've been channeling Raffy's chaos and messy style" ~Amy

Colin survived omg omg. I went on call with him after tribal council and I smoothed things over with us. So I'm like the only person he's not hating right now. Also I literally told Colin everything. I told him exactly what happened which is so awkward if anyone finds out I tolf him that they all backstabbed him. Also Elle cannot be trusted!! Why would she do this? She's probably working with Colin and at this point I'm ok with voting off Elle. She really backstabbed the entire plan. Also Elle's idol is gone so it would be easy. BUT, we need to rid of the advantages that remain. There's not any time to get off people I don't trust. We need to expose every last idol we can. Also I know Brayden has an idol and I'm working with him but I might have to backstab that guy because if he makes it to final tribal council with an idol that will be big on his resume. Honestly Brayden will be seen as the most popular social player so that will look really good compared to me. So I might have to backstab my best friend before the time runs out.

Wtf was that tribal. Literally besides Colin, the only person left out of the vote and lied to by my own partner. Just when i thought things were looking up for me in this game, the rug gets pulled from underneath me again. I literally dont feel like i can trust any of them but for the sake of playing nice, I have to pretend that everything is fine and be a fake bitch for a day or two. Ugh 😑

I understand Colin is probably really upset and hurt because he felt personally close with me, but I don’t understand why my reasons for not saving him weren’t valid. When he tried to save Dennis, it rubbed HIMYM the wrong way and I didn’t want to betray 5 people for 1 person the same way he did that because it’s what gave everyone distrust. He said he didn’t tell anyone about HIMYM until after he heard his name, but that’s a lie as Josh and Jay both heard of it by round 8. I said that and then he said “well that’s still one person”. It’s more than one and even then, one person is one person. You gave us a reason to distrust you and that’s why you were targeted. I never told anyone about his SWP because I didn’t want to give him a reason to tell others I’m not trustworthy or for him to target me with. Ultimately, of course I knew Jay wasn’t going to send me out, but there was a real concern that Babs had an idol and that between me and Anastasia, I would go. So yeah, my concerns were indeed valid as it could’ve gone to a point where I go. I really want immunity this round. So bad. But if it’s not me I’ll be ok with my allies having it. But please I want immunity!!!

[this was earlier, but put it wherever✨] Sooooo so much drama these days, I used to be in an alliance with Jay, Brayden, and Anastasia but they're all in a megasix alliance except Jay is relatively new bc they swapped him out for Colin recently, Jay is completely in Jodi's pocket and RIP honestly bc I was hope our little Corn Tribe (we're both from Ohio lol) would make it far, Colin and I are firmly allies now and we have an alliance with Amy (who is currently Colin's no. 1 ally and I respect that she risked it all for him lol understandable) and are goin to make another one with Josh. Josh and I are allies and I trust him a lot partially bc ppl lied to him almost as much as ppl lied to me and Colin and being at the bottom is a good way to know your allies are true, they have little to gain 😂 oh and Brayden and Anastasia and I are still "allies" and idk Jay hasn't talked to me yet sooooo let's see what happens there!

I accidentally said that Josh was on the bottom out loud when I was answering him for the question who doesnt deserve to be here. Omg I literally ruined our relationship. I am sooo stupid. I literally told him i was sorry and he said K. Ok but he is on the bottom. Obviously he doesn't need me as an ally and that whole side has a plan. Omg Im ready to be blindsided lol. But also maybe dont vote out me. Josh really isnt that forgiving is he? That is crazy to me. I wouldve pretended to forgive at least. Now I feel even more awful because he never said he forgave me. it appears either jodi or jared are going tonight, and although they’re my allies, i selfishly don’t care. I’ll still be in the game, so that’s nice i suppose. I love jodi, but she’s paranoid and it’s a whole deal trying to work with her, if she got voted out i could maybe get some sleep every once in awhile. I love her to death, but frankly whatever happens tonight as long as it ain’t me I don’t really care. Hell, even if it is me, then whatever lol, I can get caught up on sleep then. Frankly this is where the game gets ugly, and i’m cool with staying out of the drama. it still sucks that josh hates me though, i genuinely like him, and i feel like he doesn’t want to be my friend beyond the game anymore. To me, i’m going to keep doing me. I’m gonna chill, i’m gonna relax, and i’ll play when i feel like it. My mental health is important, so even if i’m not playing as hard as others, it’s just a game. If i lose, i will not lose any sleep over it.

DAMN last tribal really killed the vibes in the game. no one wants to talk. everyone is scared of stuff getting leaked or turning on people. BUT ON THE FLIP side that means everyone is flipping on everyone SOMEHOW amy managed to escape unscathed. They have NO idea she's in with us and with them. She's telling us everything. it's actually insane to watch her do it. Truly international superspy behavior. We have our numbers and they have theirs. They made another majority alliance except they replaced me with Jay. Whatever, expected. its fine. I truly did not talk much to people before the challenge, I just laid back and let Amy gather information for us. The immunity challenge was absolutely crazy good for us. Elle winning immunity is perfect, and the fact they GAVE AMY the other immunity is also amazing, a testament to how much they do trust her. THEN THIS IS WHERE THINGS STARTED GETTING EXCITING so I still have my handy chaos idol. I was thinking about numbers and I came to the realization that we could get Jodi cirie'd out this tribal. Their side is splitting votes on Josh and I, and there's four of us. If we vote the other 4 people in that alliance and then play the chaos idol, it leaves Jodi the only one without a vote and she's automatically out. It was a huge risk but I brought this plan to Josh, Amy, and Elle. because of the touchy subjects it made me truly feel that I could trust my allies right now. I was voted "Who is your closest ally" and I'm almost certain it was those three that put me down. That means I can trust them with this plan. (I hope). Elle, however, brought up the very good point that Jodi might be idoled, it's very obvious for us to go after her. SO we also decided that we should leave no votes on Brayden and then theres a revote between the two. SO TLDR THE PLAN RN: play chaos idol and coordinate votes so there's a revote between Jodi and Brayden. Also we're telling everyone else our plan is to vote Jared, that way it's not too obvious we have shit up our sleeve. there is the prospect of them splitting the vote 3-3 and then we don't even need to use the chaos idol, we just have the numbers. The other option is they put all 6 votes on one person and then we do have to play it. Thats why its so good we have Amy as our inside source telling us everything that's going on with them. so yeah right now we're still playing it by ear. not a lot of people are online and available to we're just waiting to get it all sorted out. Hahahahaha omfg so after we yeeted out of last tribal and then elle used their idol apparently anastasia and jodi changed their vote to Babs so they still went home and we kept Colin's idol. We jumped back on the tribe call and it was only host Jay and Raffy left lol like we were ready for a tribe fight! But I think it turned out better because I am still getting all the info in the group. Touchy subjects was interesting and almost exposed us bc colin and jodi tied for closest allies lol which I'm sure it was like 3-3-whatever. But she said I'm the group maybe it was like 2-2-1s. So that's a relief. However. Everyone is being really quiet with me and our brayden - jodi - me alliance is silent. I'm concerned they think it is me who's leaking but from what I can tell jodi (and thus anastasia, brayden,jay, and jared automatically) believe it was elle who leaked the plan to vote colin. So idk how but I'm in the clear. I'm just waiting to be found out bc I'd be an easy vote out. BUT I think they believe I'm still with new himym because brayden chose to give me immunity in touchy subjects!! And elle got first out!! So we are both safe and the current plan for Jodi's group is to tell Colin josh and elle they are splitting but they will put all votes on josh so that colin flushes his idol. Except lol it's a chaos idol. And if that's the case colin wants me to vote him ☠️ but it actually keeps him safe so I'll do it. I would just hate for the chaos idol to be fake. I think I know where all remaining advantages are except the idol I think Jared has lol. So for the break down brayden has an idol he believes is real but is fake and he is not telling anyone in the group or jodi or me so as much as I like brayden I can't wait to see him play it and it's fake. Then Colin has Dennis's chaos idol and one more regular idol. I have the merge idol and a steal a vote. That leaves only jared's idol that we might be able to flush this go if they actually believe jared is the target from Josh elle colin. But if they don't we can leave votes off jared and jodi and we can vote out the unplayed idol or vote jodi out and her minions have to regroup. My biggest concern has been josh bc he really seems to not like me ☠️ and here I am risking it all to keep colin, elle, and josh in the game lol. So now colin elle and I have a three. Colin filled them in and they trust me. And we waited until josh calmed down bc he was really mad that I cut his rope in the challenge. Unfortunately I knew that he wasn't winning bc he's at the bottom, none of them were giving him immunity, and I needed to keep up the facade that I was with them 100% so I was guessing like everyone else on the most allies even though I knew it would be colin lol. So now colin has talked to Josh and josh knows about the chaos idol so I just hope he's 100% with us. Because if we play this right it's 4-4. And then I'm gonna have to reveal to them I have a steal a vote lol they might be upset I didn't tell them before but I've never said I didn't have anything (except to jodi whoops). Also now jodi is thinking worst case like wants me to say I'll vote out anastasia if it's a revote and also at 6. I was like "oh I'm a revote? I got you" as in if vote you out sorry girl. Listen I know I'm not winning and I know I'm not getting to the end because it would be stupid to take me at this point. I'm literally a double agent secret spy lol. However the entire jury WILL despise me but all I could hope is they respect the moves I made. But it seems like a lot of people in this game take things very personal so I really think it would be a completely bitter jury against me not that I'm getting there. I kind of don't want to use my steal a vote at 8 and hope they still think I'm with new himym because then we could simply idol where their vote is and I keep steal a vote for 6 and my idol for 5 and I'm golden lol 😂. And here I was gonna hard quit the game lol. I mean tbh they could just vote me here... Wait lol I'm immune jk thanks. Literally i think Babs is indifferent and dennis did like me but his vote would still go to colin. But if I was in f3 IMAGINE the story of have to tell lol and convince them all. It's the struggle of playing more behind the scenes but I really think someone is going to leave the info. I hope josh stays quiet until 7 when we should have numbers. Anyway all of this to say I wanted to play this game doing the absolute minimum and I'm spending hours and hours a day like copy pasting from the group to colin 😂 and now to our group. The problem is colin really believed jared when he said he'd flip and I was like colin no that's EXACTLY what he detailed he'd do in the group. And then Colin and josh were like wait anastasia and brayden may consider flipping and here I was like no y'all they are telling me / us they're saying that. Unless it's like a double play they are lying to you and that's their plan. All I can do is copy paste their exact messages and hope they believe me. I really do think they trust me bc I'm risking my life here. I just need to talk to Josh and explain the situation and I am with him not against him! Honestly this is such a great cast and they are playing very well. It'll be fun to see how it all works out. I don't think I'll be at the end but I would love to see underdogs take it. I would actually love josh elle and Colin at the end and I'd vote colin to win lol he put in work! I'd also vote anastasia to win because she has laid low so well with still having pull in the game. Idk it's a fun one that I think will blow up on me soon but I've been channeling Raffy's chaos and messy style bc I'm just here to have fun not to win actually lol. I am writing this while on a flight so I'll have updates later. Oh right our 4 group plan is to use the chaos idol and throw votes around so that like 2 or 3 people don't have votes then they are the only ones vulnerable in the revote and everyone who got votes is safe. Then we can vote either jared or jodi like that's the thing if jodi doesn't play an idol here I don't think she has one or no one is giving her one. I think my only chance to make it farther is to let the 4 group know I'm with them 100% but still keep my idol for myself hopefully until 6 or 5 but lol idk about that. Like I can see them wanting to take me out then. Okay that's all my thoughts right now.

EPISODE ONE: NIGHT PROWLER

Chapter one: Style The first chapter of episode one takes place around the first few seasons, where you will be introduced to the Winchester brothers. During an entire season you will hunt monsters with Sam and Dean, links to the other chapters and episodes are below.

Though you are a vast sleeper you woke immediately by the sound of someone opening the front door. You slide out of bed and into your robe. Silently you walk out your bedroom, into the hallway. Muffled voices are coming from downstairs. Two, you believe. Preparing yourself for what is about to come you pull the string, holding the robe around you, tighter. You hear them split up and you follow one down to the study. After having taken a deep breath you swiftly go around the corner, into the study and attack the person who is breaking into your house. Taken by surprise the man doesn’t react immediately and it is easy for you to place the first few blows without him hitting back. “Dean!” The man yells right before you knock him down to the floor. Another man, supposedly Dean, storms into the room and takes in the scene. He starts laughing. “You got taken out by a girl.” He says to your offence. “You really starting to lose your touch, Sammy.” He walks further into the room, for some reason thinking that you are no threat to him. Without a warning you attack him. Soon he is laying in the spot his friend was in just a few seconds ago. “You were saying?” The Sammy guy asks Dean looking smug. He helps him get up and now you’re facing them both. “What are you doing in my house?” You ask them. “Who are you?” The face of the Sammy guy changes. “Is this your house?” He asks almost apologetically. “Yes, it is.” You say raising your eyebrow at them. “Whose house did you think you were breaking into?” “I’m sorry.” He apologies and turns around to leave. “I think we are in the right place, Sam.” The other guy says. “No chick can fight like that.” “Excuse me.” You cock an eyebrow looking at the wall full of awards. They turn around to follow your gaze. “Oh.” He says and turns back with a smooth apologetic grin plastered on his face. “I don’t know why I’m even talking to you. I’m calling the cops.” You say Picking up the phone from the desk. “No, wait, we can explain.” Sam says holding his hands up. Still holding the phone in your hand you watch him, expectantly. “Well..” Helplessly he looks at his accomplice. “We.. I can’t really explain, but I promise you we are not the bad guys.” For a moment long you eye him, while he nervously watches you for your reaction. “Then why are you breaking into my house?” You ask him puzzled. “What kind of lame excuse do you have for that?” “See my brother here,” The other guy opens his mouth and pats Sam’s shoulder. “we thought it was his ex’s house. She cheated on him and we came her to find a little closure.” Both you and Sam watch him, brows knitted together in a frown. That just makes no sense at all. “You don’t know where your ex lives?” You ask Sam. Bewildered he looks at you, searching for an answer. “She moved.” He quickly replies. “If this is true, what were you planning on doing to her?” You ask slightly amused. “Breaking and entering is a crime, you know.” You can hear the other guy mumble something like ‘we’ve done worse’ before Sam elbows him in the stomach. “I’m sorry.” Sam apologizes, but you’re not sure what for exactly. “We should go.” “What were you really doing here?” You ask them. “Hunting a vampire.” This time he doesn’t get a elbow, but just a warning glance from Sam. You laugh. “That excuse is even better than the other one.” You cross your arms over your chest. “The two of you really are nuts.”

“I’m telling you, Sam. She knew more than she was telling.” They are walking towards Dean’s car. “The way she reacted.” “She reacted the way most people react when we tell them what we do.” Sam says getting into the car. “Don’t you think she seemed awfully relaxed,” Dean turns in his seat to face his brother. “while two strangers broke into her house in the middle of the night. Most people would have freaked.” “You saw those awards, Dean. She knows how to fight. She probably just doesn’t scare that easy.” Sam says. “Or it’s because she’s a vampire.” Dean says. Sam sighs. “We followed the lead and it brought us to this house. It just has to be connected.” “You really think that girl is a vampire?” Sam asks Dean disbelieving. Dean smiles. “Why? You like her?” Sam doesn’t react to his brother’s teasing. “We just wait here till the sun rises and see if she comes out.” “Okay.” Sam gives in. “Okay.” Dean repeats. “Okay.” Sam repeats annoyed.

“See, I told you.” Sam says to Dean as they watch you walk out of your house and lock the door behind you. The sun is still high in the sky this sunny afternoon. “She’s not a vampire.” Dean admits. Sam frowns at his brother. “You still think she has anything to do with the killings?” Sam asks unbelieving. “She’s just a girl and those killings were done by a vampire!” “Well maybe the killer wasn’t a vampire.” Dean says, making Sam scoff in disbelieve. “You saw the bites. Those are animal bites. Maybe we are dealing with something completely different. I’m not ready to rule her out yet.” “It’s whatever you say right, Dean?” Sam asks irritated by Dean’s tendency to always play the leader. Always saying that he has to follow him. “Yeah, it is!” Dean’s heavy voice rumbles through the car. “What is suddenly up with you, Sammy!” “You’re always acting like you are the boss of me, but guess what! You’re not dad!” Sam cries frustrated. “I know I’m not dad!” Dean rumbles. “But I’m still the oldest.” Sam scoffs. He can’t believe that Dean just made that comment. A knock on the car door window snaps them out of their argument. “You know that stalking is also a crime.” It’s the sound of your voice that is carried the thick glass of the window. Dean rolls down the window and leans his arm on the door. “We have a perfectly good explanation.” He tells you. A smile appears on your face. “How did I know that one of you was going to say that.” You smile at Sam and he uncomfortably gives you a half wave. “This time,” Dean gets out his wallet. “you are getting a full explanation.” He opens his wallet and shows it to you. It’s not a wallet, but a badge. “FBI?” Confused you look from Sam to Dean. “What does the FBI have to do with breaking into my house and stalking me?” “We’re not stalking you.” Sam ensures you. “Can I see your badge?” You ask Sam to his surprise. He shows it to you and you study it carefully. “So, Sam and Dean from the FBI… Why don’t you come in and I’ll fix you a proper meal while you tell me what this is about.” Behind them, on the backseat, lie a few packs of empty fast food bags. The smell coming from the car ain’t all that good either. “We can’t possibly ask you that.” Sam turns your offer down politely earning a look from Dean who is more than willing to eat a home cooked meal. “Seems like your partner thinks differently.” Dean, not having realized that he reacted that obvious before, smiles at you. “Who can say no to a home cooked meal.”

“I’m telling you.” You say feeling desperate. “They showed up the next day outside my house and showed me FBI badges.” “Why would the FBI be investigating you?” “The FBI wouldn’t. They weren’t the FBI. They were hunters.” You say sure of your case. “Are you sure?” You nod. “Those badges were good, but I could still see they were fake.” You confirm. “What did you tell them?” “Nothing.” You say. “But they are on to us. At least on to me.” “They can’t be.” “I sneaked a peek on their laptop and they are here for the killings. You need to run, now you still can.” You rub your eyes. “What about you?” “I’m going to hold them off as long as I can.” You say taking his hand. “Go, before it’s too late. I’m not losing you too.” “Neither am I going to lose you. They will kill you!” “I can take care of myself. Please just go. Without you I am as good as dead and you know that.” “Don’t talk like that!” A tear you have been so hard trying to keep yours escapes your eye and falls on the ground. “You know it’s the truth. I don’t want to live in this world alone just as much as you don’t want to roam forever without me.” “I love you.” “I love you too.” You gently kiss him on the cheek. “Now, leave.

TWO DAYS AGO....

“What’s that?” Dean asks Sam who is sitting at the motels table staring intently at his laptop. “Suspicious deaths all around a small town near the Grand Canyon.” Sam tells Dean, not taking his eyes off the screen. “Suspicious is our brand.” Dean says packing up the stuff he just used to clean his gun. “But we need a little more to go on if we are going all the way down to the Grand Canyon.” Sam turns his laptop for Dean to look at. Dean looks at the screen and wipes his hand across his mouth. “I’ll get the car.” Not long after that the two of them are sitting in Dean’s sweet ride. “In only two weeks fifteen people in and surrounding the town have been reported missing or found drained and ripped to shreds. They say it’s just some animal killing.” Sam says while going through the articles. “Do the victims have anything in common” Dean asks. “No, not that I can see so far. They range from teens camping to elderly attacked in their home.” Sam answers. “Strange.” Dean notices. “Where do you want to start?” “Sarah McAllister.” Sam replies. “Who’s she?” Dean asks. “Sister of the latest victim, Andrew McAllister.” Sam answers. “They went for a run together when they got attacked.” “Then how did she got away?” Dean asks confused. “I don’t know. It doesn’t say.” Sam says. “Let’s find out.”

They shut the car doors behind them before walking up to the Victorian house. Sam knocks and the door is opened. A beautiful young brunette appears in the doorway. “Can I help you?” She asks. “Well,” Dean says with a flirtatious smile on his face. “We are from the FBI.” Sam interferes before Dean can make a flirtatious comment and ruin their cover. The brothers show their fake badges and the woman lets them inside. “I already went over this with the police.” She says as they sit down in the living room. “We know, ma’am, but we need you to tell us what happened.” Sam says. The way they go over the basic stuff, you can tell that they have done this often. “Okay.” She nods. “Drew and I went for our usual run that Thursday night and then we heard something. A rustling sound somewhere in the bushes. Drew went to investigate the noise even though I told him not to. You never know what is hiding in the dark, you know.” She falls silent trying to push back the tears. “So you are saying you went for a run around what time?” Dean asks. “Around eight, but it was already dark at that time. That’s why I wanted Drew to stay on the path, especially since his friend Kyle got missing last week.” Sam and Dean share a look. “What do you say attacked your brother?” Sam asks Sarah. “An animal.” Sarah says determined. “It grabbed him and I heard it dragging him through the woods. I heard him screaming.” Her voice is shaking. “Here.” Sam hands her a napkin. Thankful she takes is and dries the tears from her eyes. “He told me to run and I did. That’s how I was able to get away.” It’s obvious that Sarah has a hard time handling the fact that she left her brother for dead while he was still screaming. But every person in their right mind knows that Andrew had been done for. “There is nothing you could have done for him.” Sam ensures Sarah. “You did the right thing.” “It doesn’t feel like it.” She admits continuing to dry her tears. “Is this all? I really need to finish the arrangements for Drews funeral.” “Just two more questions.” Dean says. “Did your brother have any enemies? Someone who might want to kill him?” “No person could have killed him.” Sarah says not understanding why they are asking her that question while she is so sure that an animal attacked her brother. “It was an animal.” “It’s just a routine question ma’am.” Dean tells her. “No, Drew was a nice guy. He mostly just did things with me. We were best friends, how lame as that may sound. But we were each other’s world.” “That doesn’t sound lame at all.” Sam says sharing a look with Dean. “Who was the friend who got missing?” Dean asks. “Tyler.” Sarah answers. “Tyler McNamara. He was lying on the bed, waiting for his brother to return from McNamara’s mother.” They had split up. Sam went to the coroner’s office and Dean went to see McNamara’s mother. “I’m taking it wasn’t a success.” “That woman practically pinned me to a chair.” Dean says to Sam’s amusement. “But you didn’t find a connection with the other victims?” “Nope, what did you find out?” Dean asks. “Guess coincidences do exist.” Sam mumbles. “Hey I heard that!” Dean says. “The body has been drained dry. Like a vampire.” Sam informs Dean. “So you’re saying a blood sucker gave Tarzan a tour around the jungle?” Dean asks Sam, wondering if It really could be that simple. And of course it’s not. “Maybe.” Sam replies, seeming a bit distracted by his own thoughts. “What do you mean ‘maybe’?” Dean asks confused.” Whether he is killed by a bloodsucker or not.” “You should have seen those bite marks, Dean.” Sam says. “They seemed animal like. Something like a werewolf, but still the body is drained. And the last time I checked the werewolves don’t drain the body from every last drop of blood.” “If they are just vampires that would explain why there is no connection between the victims.” Dean says thinking out loud. “But, makes it harder to track the nest.” “I think I already did.” Sam says, surprising Dean. “I searched for anything different around the time that the killings started happening and the only thing I’ve come up with someone who bought a house. It doesn’t say who. Tracks are covered like vampires always do.” “Looks like we’re going to hunt some blood suckers tonight.” Dean says satisfied.

Hence why this has taken considerably longer to type, edit, and post than I originally envisioned over a month ago. XD

On Sunday July 16th 2017, the long-running BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who starring a time and universe traveling body shifting Gallifreyan Time Lord made the announcement that a woman would play the longtime exclusive to men portrayal character next. Alongside companions, the Doctor is the true definition (not the derogatory kind) of a Social Justice Warrior. The Doctor assists civilizations, helps people, tries to alter certain events in time, and clashes against all types of enemies. The most famous among them being the Daleks, of course.

There’s been twelve Doctors (Well, thirteen if John Hurt’s War Doctor is counted...Doesn’t seem to be though. Since Jodie isn’t labeled as the 14th Doctor. ) played by men since the series inception back in 1963. The original run lasted until 1989, the revival of the show began in 2005. Doctor Who was created by C.E. Webber, Donald Wilson, and Sydney Newman. Producer Verity Lambert, story editor David Whitaker, and writer Anthony Coburn also contributed to the development of the series that would eventually become Doctor Who. In 1986, Newman wrote to BBC Chairman Michael Grade, "At a later stage, Doctor Who should be metamorphosed into a woman. This requires some considerable thought — mainly because I want to avoid a flashy, Hollywood Wonder Woman because this kind of heroine with no flaws is a bore. Given more time than I have now, I can create such a character."

So, over three decades (839 episodes, one TV movie, four charity specials, multiple specials, and two animated serials) later, Newman’s words are realized under Broadchurch creator and new Doctor Who showrunner Chris Chibnall (with the departure of Steven Moffat). At the end of 2017, the current Doctor incarnation actor Peter Capaldi portrays will be replaced by Jodie Whittaker following the Regeneration process. This decision is is merely another form of change: a significant theme pertaining to the Doctor’s character as a whole.

On top of that, in the 1999 Red Nose Day telethon episode Doctor Who: The Curse of the Fatal Death was the first time the doctor was a woman (Joanna Lumley). In the audio drama Doctor Who Unbound Exile which is free from the restraints of continuity released in 2003 actor Arabella Weir played the Doctor. During the 9th Doctor’s run, it was revealed that the Doctor was bisexual even though the character rejected Jackie Tyler’s advances in “The Parting of Ways”. The Doctor flirted with Jack Harkness, proposing to dance with in the episode “Doctor Dances” whilst promising to give him what Rose Tyler had with Mickey Smith should Jack purchase him a drink. Captain Jack Harkness and River Song are characters both from the 51st century where pansexuality is the norm. Companion Clara Oswin Oswald has been in a relationship with a man but mentions kissing women too. When the 11th Doctor touches his hair following the completion of the 10th’s Regeneration process, the character says, “I’m a girl. No, no. I’m not a girl. And still not ginger.” This suggests that a the Doctor could be a woman. In the 2011 episode “The Doctor’s Wife” Neil Gaiman wrote from over six years ago, the Time Lord Corsair is mentioned and it is divulged that Corsair had a Regeneration that switched him into a her. In the 2013 mini-episode “The Night of the Doctor”, the Sisterhood of Karn (first appearance was in The Brain of Morbius that aired in 1976) asks the Doctor what Regeneration is desired (“Fat or thin, young or old, man or woman?” “Fast or strong, wise or angry, what do you need now?”): ultimately Paul McGann’s 8th Doctor wishes to be a “warrior” and is transformed into the War Doctor (portrayed by the late and incredibly great John Hurt). Since the show’s 2005 revival, an infamous Time Lord villain known as The Master went from being solely men into a woman named Missy (Michelle Gomez) after an off-screen Regeneration took place.

Change is important for the purposes of bringing a fresh angle to an established accepted formula whilst having potential narrative merit, symbolizing growth, modern day relevance, and validation to something existing. How change is navigated, utilized, or coped with is equally as important. Each Regeneration leads to viewers, writers, showrunners, and cast members having to accept that a previous version of the Time Lord is gone. “No more.” Their look, personality, memories, relationships, mannerisms, and whatever else gets scrambled into something entirely different post-Regeneration.

Likewise, the companions of the Doctor go through switcheroos often as well. Some leave us furious. Sad. Perhaps even glad.

My point is that we’re resist to change. Struggle with it. Less of a fan as a result. Which is understandable. However, when a certain demographic has been catered to for decades, altering this comes with a price. To be candid, I find the reactionary backlash a tad odd and chuckle-inducing. As if the time-traveling alien Doctor was ever defined by masculinity before. If that’s your chief defining attribute of the Doctor then I legitimately feel sorry for you. The Doctor represents more than a man or a woman and that’s why this beloved character has obtained a prestigious status among fictional creations.

This is the inherent beauty of science fiction. Close to infinite possibilities at one’s creative fingertips are there. That’s why Daisy Ridley’s Rey being a protagonist and an in training Jedi (General Leia Organa never got this despite her mighty connection to the Force) within the new Star Wars flicks is a big deal. Nichelle Nichols’ Lieutenant Uhura from Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek was historical by being the first African-American not to play a servant on American television. Did you know that Civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. asked her to remain on Star Trek when she thought about leaving in the late 60s? “For the first time on television, we [people of African descent] will be seen as we should be seen every day, as intelligent, quality, beautiful people who can sing and dance, yes, but who can go into space, who can be lawyers and teachers, who can be professors — who are in this day, yet you don’t see it on television until now." Nichols would further influence Dr. Mae Jemison, the first black woman to fly aboard the Space Shuttle, directly cited Star Trek in her decision making. Additionally, Nichols’ Uhura would serves as a role model to Star Trek: The Next Generation Guinan actor Whoopi Goldberg ("I just saw a black woman on television; and she ain't no maid!") too. Should I list all of the ways in which Charlize Theron’s Furiosa of Mad Max: Fury Road and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman have contributed to the more inclusive than most genre?

The casting choice of actor Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor bothered me from the get-go. Since Peter Capaldi had already been on the series via the 10th Doctor (David Tennant) episode “The Fires of Pompeii” as Caecilius. Not too long after that Peter would be in the Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood: Children of Earth as John Frobisher too. Capaldi took over the role of the Doctor from Smith in 2013. Why the Doctor’s facial appearance is similar to Caecilus was eventually addressed in the 2015 episode “The Girl Who Died”. For whatever reason I’ve been unable to decipher, I’ve just never clicked with Capaldi’s Doctor. On the other hand, I am still grieving a tremendous loss...Which is actor Pearl Mackie’s SDCC announcement she’s leaving the companion position this December. Meaning I do have some level of viewership enjoyment with Capaldi due to Bill’s accompaniment with him.

I’m sincerely going to miss her.

In short, what has been hinted at in the past will become reality this December. No one’s being blindsided, I’d argue. Not about being PC either. These seeds were clearly being planted prior to.

Yes, this a holiday present I’m fondly looking forward to. Especially after seeing Jodie Whittaker’s nuanced performance as Beth Latimer in Chris Chibnall’s Broadchurch. Or Jodie’s role in the Black Mirror (a dark genius sci-fi series courtesy of Charlie Brooker) episode “The Entire History of You.” Psst, the entirety of Black Mirror is on Netflix...There’s even an episode that warned about a candidate like Donald Trump rising to power. I’d be remiss not to type about Whittaker being in the cult science fiction hit film Attack the Block (2011) as well. All of that she’s done deserves to be seen. That’s what I’ve been re-doing in anticipation actually!

With both Peter Capaldi’s and Steven Moffat’s tenures with Doctor Who coming to a personally welcomed close, my ranking of excitement is considerably lofty I must admit. We’ve needed an overhaul for awhile now. The long awaited for revolution of making the protagonist Time Lord a woman next brings a fresh dynamic to Doctor Who. I reckon she won’t be able to coast or take some things for granted like previous incarnations did. The involvement of Chris Chibnall and the inclusion of Jodie Whittaker has me ridiculously psyched for Doctor Who’s future. I believe both of them will positively contribute to the series with their injection of needed new. I even feel compelled to finally watch Doctor Who again in a strangely devoted fashion (something I haven’t done in years) versus sporadic glances at the telly throughout Capaldi’s run.
