The New Avatar Rumor
If you haven't heard Knight edge media has claimed to have seen the first 2 finalised storyboards for the Avatar tv show that'll follow the avatar after Korra.
Here's the link to their og article
There's also an article detailing a scene
Just in case any of this is actually true here's your chance to back out now, if your still here let's get into it.
The Kyoshi Parallel -
This post will mainly be me covering what jumped out to me from their two articles. The first thing that jumped out to me was how eerily similar the outline was to the Rise of Kyoshi novel. In RoK Kyoshi is a close candidate for being the Avatar, she's overlooked however, with Yun being chosen as he's a bending prodigy. Kyoshi struggles to survive as a maid/street rat, eventually being discovered as the avatar and thrust into the plot.
Our new avatar (possibly called Pavi) was also thought to be the avatar, passed over for her more adept sister, who's raised as a false avatar, and, whilst the imposter lives in luxury, Pavi struggles on the streets.
Obviously as more information comes out this correlation could strengthen or weaken. I don't mind it, and it could be a good "the Cycle repeats itself" otherwise it might be lazy recycling, time will tell.
Seven nations -
I..... hate this I think.
I love the fith nation and it's implications in RoK, and how it's spiritually lives on in Republic city, however 3 new nations?
I think it'll dilute the potents of what made the original great. The 4 elements are literally iconic, not just in Avatar but in, like, everything. History, alchemy, medicine, ect.
Avatar's cousin, The Dragon Prince, also tried using an expanded elemental system and I think it was weaker for it. Also what will set these 3 new nations apart? Will we have 3 new elements?
Now what could happen instead is that this is a post-apocalypse, and instead this is 7 new city states. THAT I don't hate. Infact it could be really interesting to see 7 last remnants of the Avatar world, after a massive disaster.
In that sense I think our survivors would be:
The Northen Water Tribe
The Southern Water Tribe
Republic City
Caldera City
Omashu
Ba Sing Se
The Southern Air Temple
I could also see any of the other temples, not just Aangs. Kyoshi island could also be a contender.
If this new world is just these last remnants that could be incredible.
Korra's feat -
Let it be said I hate power scaling fights. So the article saying this makes Korra the strongest seems weird. Secondly, this seems out of the scope of the Avatar world. I don't think Korra will actually rip apart the tectonic plates, more likely, a meteorite or such will threaten the world, and as she mitigates the damage it'll cause these new divides.
Twins -
Watch the DearFutureMe video on twin avatars for why it better not happen. Also if it turns out one is the Dark avatar I will chew my way through the floor until I land in the depths of hell.
If its neither of those I think it'll be a fun dynamic, similar to Zuko and Azula.
Hoverboards -
O H N O.
So, I've bitched about this to my friends constantly. I have always thought a third avatar show might be impossible. Aang's era is pre-industrial/industrial revolution and then Korra is the 1940~ plus a mech.
From this you get two meh options.
Either you kill Korra very young and aim for the 60s tech wise. That'll retroactively spoil LoK however. Otherwise you let Korra live and have it set roughly in the 2000's which just feels ... wrong.
This looks like we'll get the worst of both world, with 2000's era tech + future tech alla Kuvira's mech. Along with Korra dying tragically when the 7 nations disaster occurs.
I am hopeful that the disaster might create my pet theory. Where to avoid a Y2K avatar they create an apocalypse to reset the world.
Misc -
She's a girl and an amputee, that's cool, Avatar usually handles disabled and women characters well, I know they'll be discourse™ because diversity but that's only a problem if your a bigot sooooo.
Cat companion LETS GOOOOOOOOO can't wait to get plush of it.
Possible angsty teen airbender? Cool.
All in all I'm pessimistically excited, I want to hope it'll be great but I think that type of worship will just set you up to be disappointed. Either way, time will tell.

RUMOR: Avatar Studios’ first movie could be titled Avatar The Last Airbender: Hidden Kingdom
Pretty quick, but potentially big, news today: a rumor has reached Avatar News saying that Avatar Studios’ first movie will be titled Avatar The Last Airbender: Hidden Kingdom.
Not much else to say, other than this is not direct info from our sources at Paramount like usual, but rather, again, an actual rumor through the insider grapevine.
Previously we reported on a potential working title of the movie: Echoes and Aftershocks. Comparing the two, Echoes and Aftershocks definitely now sounds more like an internal working title compared to Hidden Kingdom, which is more specific and “epic”. That being said, Echoes and Aftershocks did actually come from inside Paramount while Hidden Kingdom is, for now, just a rumor. But it’s definitely interesting to speculate on what it could mean!
Avatar Studios’ first animated feature film will follow Aang and Team Avatar as young adults and will be released in theaters on October 10th, 2025.
The logo above is an unofficial Avatar News mockup.

The Leisure Streamer is a Hottie (Chapter Two)
Summary: Rumor had it the top donor of the-strongest-streamers chats get to see him naked! Now that you're the top donor will you get to see the goods or was it just a rumor. Time will tell.
Pairing: Streamer!Gojo x FAB!Reader
Warnings: language, suggestiveness, fluff
A/N: Part two of the highly requested LSIH!! This will probably be a four part series, maybe five IDK yet!! 💚💚💚
Part One Part Three Part Four
Voices were muffled as someone gently tapped your cheek. Nausea swirled in your stomach as you felt your eyes and eyebrows twitch as you stirred. “Hey! Come on! Wake up!” Suguru? Your new boss was calling your name.
“She saw Gojo’s face; I would pass out too if I had to see his pasty ass.”
“Fuck you, Sukuna.” Satoru snapped as you slowly opened your eyes. “Hey! Good morning!”
As you turned your head towards Gojo’s voice, you blinked slowly, making out his shape. He was standing at the edge of the couch, grinning as he elevated your legs up. Seeing him like that had your face turning red as you glanced around. Having your favorite streamer elevate your legs was the least embarrassing thing that has happened thus far.
Suguru was crotched next to you, and the whole damn shop's employees circled the couch you were lying down on, watching you.
“Yuuji, go grab her a glass of juice.” Geto stands up as Gojo lowers your feet, resting them on the cushions. “Megumi, Nobara, can you make her a sandwich to go with it?”
“On it, boss!”
The trio heads to the kitchen as Gojo hurries to your side, helping you slowly sit up. “I am so sorry.” You utter out, looking up at the six-three man who smiles, bangs falling in his face.
“Please don't apologize; I'm glad I was there to catch you.” He glanced at his phone, grinning wide. “Sorry, I need to take this call, Satoru—” bright blue eyes leave your face for a second, “make sure she eats and drinks the food; it’ll help with nausea.”
“Yes, sir! Have fun on your date!”
“It's not a date! It's just an employee and her boss going out for lunch!”
“Date!”
Suguru flipped Satoru off as he hurried to the back with the other employees. He was leaving you all alone with your favorite streamer in person. The same person you had masturbated with the night before.
“One sandwich and a glass of juice!” Yuuji grinned, handing you a plate.
“Thanks, Yuuji,” Satoru grinned, waving him off before turning his head to you. “You heard Mama-Geto, eat. Then we could talk.”
At least your favorite streamer allowed you to eat your food before talking to you. If you weren’t sitting on the couch and didn’t have some sugar coursing through your veins, you might have passed out for a second time. You were lucky that you didn’t pass out for a second time. You sat there in silence, eating the delicious sandwich that was provided to you by your new boss.
Once Gojo sees that your plate is spotless, crumbs and all he turns to smile at you. He’s so much cuter in person. Which you thought was impossible, seeing that he looked like a freaking God on his live streams. Especially last night when he was stroking his co—.
“Feel better?” Gojo interrupts your reminiscing of the night prior. The way you jump doesn’t go unnoticed. “Easy there, sweetheart. I’m not gonna bite.” He cocks a pristine white eyebrow at you. “That is unless you asked me to. Then I would be happy to bite you.”
“Oh my gosh.” The way you giggle makes Gojo smile wide. Last night, he was speechless when he first saw your face, not the adorable mochi avatar you designed. You were the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his entire life. For you to get flustered over him had him swelling with pride.
The stranger you had shared an intimate moment with via WebCam the night before stood up and sat beside you. “Are you feeling okay?” for the first time since you came, there was concern in his eyes.
“I’m fine, I promise. I was just shocked to see you. Who would’ve guessed that we lived in the same town.”
“The world is a small place.”
“It most definitely is.”
Satoru beamed, holding his hand out to you. “Gojo Satoru, it’s nice to meet you!” You smiled wide, grabbing his hand and shaking it, and as your fingers brushed against his, you swear it felt like electricity passed through your fingertips. The sensation was both alarming and comforting at the same time. A strange new sensation that you welcomed.
“So you’re telling me your name isn’t The-strongest-steamer? What a rip-off.”
“Oh! So sorry, mochigurl89! So tell me, do you prefer to go by ‘mochi’ or ‘gurl’?”
“Neither.” In between giggles, you tell him your name; upon hearing it, he gasps dramatically, placing his hand over his heart.
“And here I thought I hit the jackpot! The daughter of some mochi tycoon! I was having dreams about diving into a pool full of mochi.”
“Damn, you must really like mochi.”
Satoru nods his head, “Kikufuku is my favorite! I love the Zunda and cream-flavored ones.” He licked his lips at the mention of his favorite sweet treat.
“Really? I've never tried that kind. Do you know of any cafés that sell it here in Tokyo?”
“It’s a Sendai specialty.”
“Oh, I'll have to try it if I’m ever out there.”
“Hell yeah, are you bus—”
“Gojo!!”
Your favorite streamer stiffened his head, lurching forward as the front door to the coffee shop flung open. Just as he was slowly sinking to the ground, you turned to the source of the voice. A man with blonde hair, neatly brushed, wearing a blue button-down shirt and a cream-colored suit jacket, walked inside. Honey-Brown eyes scanned the area before landing on you.
“Oh, apologies,” The man fixed his yellow and black spotted tie before heading further into the shop, “Geto informed me that Gojo had finally made his way out of his dungeon, but I guess he’s crawled his gremlin ass back down there.”
“Uhhh—”
The man was about to turn and head towards the basement when he heard the floorboards creek under Gojo’s weight as he tried to lay underneath the couch. You weren’t sure how to react or what to do in a situation like this. So you just let it play out, your eyes focused on Gojo’s feeble attempt to hide himself before darting back to the blonde man storming towards the couch.
Satoru’s attempts to hide him under the smallest space of the couch were rendered useless as he saw the stranger's shadow stretch out on the floor below him. With a nervous laugh, he turned to look up at the man who was glaring down at him as the blonde man’s eyebrow twitched.
“N-Nanamin!”
“Do not call me that! What do you think you’re doing? Why have you been ignoring my calls?”
Gojo grumbled before rolling back to try to hide himself underneath the couch. “Because you're gonna lecture me.” Nanamin, which obviously wasn’t his real name from the way he reacted, stepped around the sofa and gently hooked his foot around Satoru’s leg jerking him away from the couch.
“Damn right, I’m going to lecture you! That is my job as your PR manager!”
So, the mysterious man was Gojo’s PR manager. He was typically responsible for handling all sorts of business deals and sponsorships and finding indie games for Gojo to play. You had heard on the Discord servers that his PR manager was amazing. Not only did he make Gojo look amazingly good online, but he also helped pick out games that had blown up because of Gojo. Thus benefiting both the Satoru’s channel and the game designer.
People often praised Gojo for his honest reviews and his support of small creators. It's all because behind every good drama-free streamer was a good PR manager. And from how popular and drama-free Gojo’s channel usually was, the tall man standing before you had much to do with that. You also had heard through the grapevine that being a PR manager was a hassle, and there is no doubt that was true, too, because Gojo’s PR manager looked like he was about ready to commit a federal crime.
“You promised me that you would consider going to San Diego Comic-Con! Mind telling me why I just got an email from the guest board stating that they were sorry that you had declined their offer?!”
“I thought about it and decided I didn’t wanna go. Simple as that, Nanamin!”
“You need to go out there and meet your fans face-to-face. You'll start losing followers if you don’t contribute more to your public appearance.” Satoru pouted like a child, grumbling about Nanamin not being his dad. “You know that I’m right.”
Satoru sat up, groaning as he motioned to himself. “Nanami, what am I supposed to do? Go out on a stage half-naked in my sunglasses?! My followers don’t follow me for the games; as charming as I may be, they follow me because they like watching a half-naked man play leisure games!” The mysterious Nanami released an exasperated groan, rubbing his hands through his hair.
“This is why I keep telling you to do more streams, fully clothed!”
“Again, my followers prefer it when I’m half naked.” Cerulean eyes landed on you as Satoru pushed himself off the ground. “Isn't that right, sweetheart?”
Finally, noticing your presence again, Nanami’s eyes snapped in your direction as Gojo addressed you. For a long second, it looked like he was trying to put together what to say. Before a single syllable could leave his lips, Gojo had his arm draped over his shoulder, pulling him close to his side. The blonde man huffs out a sigh before his shoulders, relaxing the tension leaving his muscles.
“I-I mean, you being half naked is a perk to watching your streams. And I’m just speaking for myself here, but I enjoy watching your reactions and reviews more than looking at your chest.”
Nanami perked up at the bluntness of your words, which left Gojo in shock. “See, perfect example, your fans don’t just see you as eye candy; people watch you because you’re funny, you make your streams enjoyable, and you’re always giving back to the community that has welcomed you so lovingly.” you
For just a second, you thought that maybe Gojo was listening to Nanami, but when he shrugged his shoulders, giving a little ‘eh’ in response, Nanami threw his hands in the air before dropping them to his sides. There was something almost comical, watching them interact with each other; they got under each other's skin. It was quite the dynamic.
“I give up on you; I’m going to put my notice in one of these days because of the headache you constantly leave me with.”
“You would never in a million years, put your never give me your notice.”
“Wanna bet?”
The threat had Satoru sitting up straight, dizzy, cleared his throat, “I’m going to pretend that it didn’t happen, and I’m gonna introduce you to my top donor from last night.” A look of panic plastered over Nanami’s face as he examined you like you were some crazed stalker. “N-No! Look, Suguru needed an artist to help design a new logo for the café! Mochigurl89 just happened to be applying for the job without me knowing.”
“It's true; I am not a stalker.” You held your hand out to Nanami, who took it without hesitation. After introducing yourself, you bowed at the waist. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“Nanami Kento, the pleasure is all mine.” His gaze focused back on Satoru. “Now, enough with the distractions, we have work to do. We have to retract the statement you gave to the Comic-Con committee. We must review new trends and games I found for you to play. It’s going to be a hectic day, so I hope you’re ready.”
Being a streamer seemed like a busy job. You were eager to have your meet and greet, but it seemed like Satoru’s day was booked. Since you would be working at the cafe, you could schedule your meet and greet for another day. You pushed yourself off the couch, grabbing your saddlebag off the ground and putting it over your shoulder. Seeing you get up, Gojo’s face fell as he rushed after you, holding your wrist and stopping you in your tracks.
“Wait, please don't go! I owe you a meet and greet!”
“No, it's okay! We can rain check for next time. Nanami seems to have a long day planned for you, and I don’t wanna interrupt that.”
Satoru grumbled, shooting a glare in the direction of his PR manager. For a moment, you could almost hear the wheels turning in his head before his pout transformed into a mischievous smirk. Satoru took several steps before draping his arm over Nanami’s shoulder, pulling him tight against his body. Sensing something was at play, Nanami lowered at his client, eyeing him up and down, waiting to hear whatever excuse came out of his mouth.
“Ya’ know, I thought you said my fans are my biggest priority.”
Nanami pinched the bridge of his nose, exhaling through his mouth. “They are a big part of your career, but you can’t just get away with talking and meeting your fans. There is more to this, and you know that.” You shifted again, eyes darting from the exit back to the two men standing in the middle of the coffee shop. It didn’t feel like a conversation you should be involved in, but Satoru had stopped you from leaving. So it wouldn’t hurt to stick around and see what he had planned.
“Right, yes.” Satoru cleared his throat, eyes darting towards the counter of the shop. “You’re so right, Nanami Kento! What would I do without such a great PR manager? Nanami Kento is the best!!”
You were about to ask why he was yelling his name when you watched Nanami’s pale cheeks flush as he glanced toward the counter. “Nanamin!!” Yuuji and another boy practically threw themselves over the counter, rushing toward the taller man. “Nanamin! Hi!” Yuuji’s eyes glittered and gleamed, and he held his fist up in front of him. “Could you show me some new moves the next time we’re at the dojo together?! I practically mastered the ones you showed me before!” another boy wearing a beanie dug through his backpack, holding out a laminated folder towards the older man.
“Ino, what’s th—”
“A report on some of the newest trends! I also compiled a list of games I think would be great for Gojo’s channel! I could help you!”
The two young men crowded Nanami with a big grin, stars practically twinkling in their eyes. Not once did the PR manager look uncomfortable. In fact, he almost looked like he was happy to have two young men interested in conversing with him. You could’ve stood there all day and listened to their enthusiastic chatter, but Satoru grabbed your wrist and yanked you out of the coffee shop while Nanani was distracted by his two pupils.
Gojo was laughing as he looked over his shoulder at you, pulling you closer to him as he ran faster. “Come on! We got a train to catch!” A train? Why in the world did you both have a train to catch? When he said he owed you a meet and greet, you figured you’d probably do it in the comfort of the coffee shop.
“W-Where are we going!?” you laughed aloud as you followed him down the street towards the train station.
An hour and a half later, you got your answer as Satoru placed a bag in front of you. “Kikufuku! Sendai’s specialty and my absolute favorite sweet treat!” He opened the bag and pulled out a small box, placing it in front of you. “Go on! Try one!” You weren’t sure where Gojo was looking, looking through his dark sunglasses and the black mask covering his face so he wasn’t recognized in public. But as he sat in front of you, motioning to the box, you could feel his stare.
You opened the box without hesitation and pulled out one of the emojis that had brought you to Sendai on your spontaneous day trip because Gojo wanted you to try his favorite mochi. You pulled the rice cake out of its wrapper before biting it. It was chewy and soft; the flavor was sweet but earthy simultaneously, a perfect balance to the sweetness. But the whipped cream in the middle had tilted your head back in near orgasmic pleasure. Satoru wasn’t kidding when he said this was his favorite treat. Because honestly, he might have you hooked on it now.
“Oh my god, it’s so good!”
“Right!” Satoru asked, yanking down his mask and placing it on the table's surface, allowing him to eat one of the mochi balls freely. “I’m telling you, it’s the whipped cream in the middle!”
“M-Mmmhmm! It is!”
You both sat there munching on mochi while sipping on your Boba, which you had insisted on buying despite Gojo’s protests. He had been kind enough to buy you a ticket and bring you to Sendai for mochi because of a spur-of-the-moment decision. Who knew your tiny, cute little avatar would end up being the reason you got to go out with your favorite streamer? This was a dream come true, and if it really was a dream, you didn’t want wake up.
Not even twenty-four hours ago, he was a stranger to you, and now you were sitting across from him at a table at a shopping center. You were laughing and talking like you had known each other for years. You guys had just so much in common. The game shows you watched, to a similar taste and sweets. It felt like the meet and greet/day trip with some of the most fun you had had in years. There seemed to be a spark between you two, and it wasn’t because you had lost composure and had masturbated with each other the night before. There was more to it than that.
“Oh my god, that was so good, it hit the spot! And it will be well worth facing Nanami’s rage later.”
Sipping on your boba, you slowly leaned forward, getting closer to Gojo's face. “Is he gonna be mad about you playing hooky with me?” Satoru snorted out a laugh, toying with his face mask.
“Sweetheart, if anyone were going to get in trouble for playing hooky, it would be me. And honestly, it’s not the first time this has happened, and it definitely will be the last.”
“Oh, so do you take all your meet and greets to Sendai for mochi?”
“No, just the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. Someone who has stolen my breath away and has been on my mind since we signed off our call last night.” You looked away momentarily with burning cheeks before slowly glancing back toward Satoru. “I’m being serious. I cannot stop thinking about last night.”
Last night was one of the most unforgettable nights of your life. You were used to having okay days or bad days ever since your ex broke up with you. Since then, you have felt stuck in the never-ending cycle of mundane days. You were going to school, working on commissions, and watching your favorite streamers in your free time. Two great back-to-back days felt weird, but you gladly welcomed the change.
“I can't stop thinking about it either.”
“I’m going to be truthfully honest with you. I have never done anything like that in my entire career, let alone my entire life.”
“That makes two of us then.”
“Would it be awkward if I said I wanted this meet and greet to be more like a first date?”
Satoru’s words had you inhaling sharply, mid-suck on your boba. So ungracefully, you choked on the tapioca balls, sending milk tea spurting out of your nose as you coughed roughly. Satoru stared at you for a long minute, cerulean eyes going wide before he clamped his hand over his mouth. While you tried to find a shred of dignity, the white-haired man in front of you shook, his face red.
“Don’t. You. Dare.” You warned as Satoru’s face turned redder. Despite your warning, Satoru threw his head back, roaring with laughter. He smacked his hand against the table while tears flooded his eyes.
Being mad at him for laughing at your pain was hard when he looked so pretty. There was only one other thing for you to do. You laughed with him. With your laughter joining his, Satoru laughed harder, leaning his head forward, white locks hiding his face while you wiped up your mess with a napkin.
“Oh my god, oh fuck! I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time!”
“Yeah? I’m glad my suffering could entertain you.” You teased, winning a wide grin in return.
“I was going to say something inappropriate, but I don’t wanna ruin the moment.”
Already having an idea of what he would say. “First date and I’m choking on balls?” The only sound of laughter is your own. Feeling as though you made it awkward, you give him an apologetic smile, only to see the flushed cheeks and gentle grin Satoru is giving you.
“So it is a date?”
“I-I guess it is, yes.”
“Would you be uncomfortable if we take this back to my place?”
Darting your tongue out you lick the sweet traces of milk tea up. “Ooor~ there’s a love hotel just down the road.” Satoru’s eyes widened as he stood up packing the bag before grabbing your hand.
“Let’s go!” Both of you hurried out of the shopping center, completely unaware that Gojo’s mask was left behind.

Let's talk about the rumors about the new Avatar Series
If you didn't read the rumors here they are:
1. The Next Avatar will be a woman, apparently she will be an amputee, with one prosthetic leg and a cat (or something like) as an animal guide. And she will also be homeless.
2. The 4 nations will no longer exist. Some catastrophic event will happen and will force Korra to not only fight against it but also to reshape the world. Making it 7 nations or havens(this can be the subtitle of the show according to the rumor)
This will make Korra the most powerful Avatar of the lore, as she will have reshaped the world - like Kyoshi did on Kyoshi Island but on a global scale.
3. Korra will possibly die from this event. If not right away, some time after due injuries
4. The Avatar will have a twin. One will grow up under White Lotus tutelage, training and living a good life, while the other will be homeless. Eventually the twins reconnect with each other, starting to train together and even the one that is not the Avatar, still is super powerfull
They also may play with the idea of one of them being the light while the other is the darkness, or with the idea of Raava being split into the two of them
Now, what do I think:
I'm gonna kill myself in front of Bryke. WTF!!???
Not them forgetting about Korra, her story and fandom for years. With the movie becoming urban legend by now - all because after the pandemic ppl started to rediscover Avatar and some started to hate Korra like it was 2012-2014 again, and they apparently listen to the haters way more than the fans. Only for now they came and make her be responsible for such a big change in the Avatar Universe...this will only make ppl hate her more. And they will call her Mary Sue until the end of the days.
Not only that, bringing this district stuff to Avatar Universe will basically transform Avatar into another generic dystopic fiction.
And if it was just to pick ideas from both Kyoshi and Roku novels, why dafuk not simply adapt them???? WHY? I know why, it has to do with ego. I could bet money on it, that the new show isn't about the books just because someone else wrote them.
Korra Nation, be prepared cuz the hate our girl and us will receive...I can't y'all. I will pretend that Avatar ended with Korra and that's it
Ps: All of this during Korrasami month, just a few days before their anniversary. Bryke really hates us now

Brat App
Ugh why did Mom have to marry the Dad of that bitch Alison?! As if being bullied at school isn’t enough now I have to get it at home too? I guess it’s not all bad though because I was able to hack into Alison’s phone and invite myself onto the exclusive ‘Brat App’ that Alison and her friends are all on. No idea what it is but with any luck I’ll find out some dirt on Alison to get her finally expelled so I can have some peace.
Hmmm this just looks to be some sort of social status game with challenges built on top. Every challenge has a ‘Brat’ value associated with it. So the more challenges a person does the higher up the leaderboard they climb and the higher up the rank. No big shock that Alison is sitting at the top as a level 10! Which gives her the rank of ‘Brat Queen’ which appropriate. By my calculations that would be…. nearly 10,000 points! Wow she must be addicted to this game. Looks like I got 1,000 bonus just for signing up and I can spend it on my little avatar of myself. Let’s see what I can buy. Sure why not, let’s improve her eyesight.…
Holy crap what just happened? My body feels all tingly and different. My glasses are making my eyes blurry. Did… did this app just cure my eyesight? This is unbelievable! What else can it do… more athletic, long nails, thick hair, big boobs, perfect posture. It makes sense now! All these challenges are real life challenges! This is how Alison is the hottest most feared girl in school! Ok new plan, if I raise the ranks of this app, and surpass Alison’s score then she’ll have to listen to me and become nicer. How hard could it be? I’m already at level one after all and these challenges don’t seem that difficult….
Bold makeup. Check. Revealing dress. Check. And that’s net me… let’s see here. 50 points? At this rate I’ll finish college before I have enough points! I need more bigger ticket items. Let me redeem these pathetic points at least. Mmmm nothing changed but it did give me a nice little tingle. Ok for 1000 points I need to… send some nudes?! Absolutely not! Alison hasn’t even done that! For another 1000 I need to suck a married cock? How vile! Ok this is more doable. Spread a vicious rumor about a classmate for 300. I could do that I guess. Hmmm I have to post it directly to the app so it can’t be about Alison or any of her friends. I know, I’ll say something about Lisa the unfortunate overweight girl in our class. She’ll never see it. I’ll say she was banned from Dairy Queen for breaking in and eating their whole stock. And send! Ohhhh somethings happening!
Oh god my tits! They’ve gone up like two sizes! But why? Hmmm looks like I hit some hidden ‘Bitch Bonus’ by doing that challenge. This is amazing and all I had to do was make fun of that whale Lisa. I know it was mean but it feels so fucking good! She’ll be fine it’s not like anyone will believe it anyway. <ding> ohhh that felt nice, what was it? Oh one of Alison’s friends liked my post. <ding> mmmm another one of her friends liked my post! Every like is 10 points and feels so gooood! <ding> oh fuck yesss girls keep liking! It feels so hawt! Maybe I should spread a few more lies…
Mmmm my body feels so much better in these clothes I redeemed! After only a few more rumors I got easily up to level 5, ‘Beta Bitch’, which unlocked my beautiful nails, my gorgeous silky hair, my perfect makeup, and all the knowledge to maintain them. Even my body is better shape, I’m so flexible now! Not to say anything about my lovely big tits! Alison’s friends seemed to really enjoy my wicked little rumours. I can’t deny it wasn’t fun writing them and it was even better getting the likes for them!
But I do feel kind of bad for all those losers I wrote stuff about though, I think the Brat App is effecting not just my body but my mind too. I feel so nasty and mean everytime I use it and even more now in this tight blouse and short skirt. I can’t help if I’m hotter than those dorks now! No that’s the app’s influence talking! I have to stop using the app, but I need to topple Alison! Ugh what do I do? <ding> what’s this? I’ve unlocked a new bonus. ‘Morality Suppression’? Hmmm that would solve my problems I guess and there is an option to turn it off later. Ok I’m going to do it! It’s for the good of the school after all. Here goes…
Ohhhhh fuck yesss that sooo much better. Like hell this is for the good of the school this is for the good of me! I feel so fucking free now. To think I was feeling regret for those pathetic fattys and geeky nerds I was writing about! I only regret not writing more! The only people worth anything are my bratty followers who like my posts and even they need to know their place and they will when I surpass Alison and become the new Queen bee. Oh fuck I feel so horny being this bad! I need some release and quick! Mmmm maybe I can finally tick off some of these challenges old me was too much of a loser to attempt. Mmmm yesss those will raise my rank in no time! Oh I have the perfectly wicked idea that will make me a bratty goddess by the end of the day! Oh step daddy!
Changed? Nonsense step daddy I’ve always looked like this. I’m a spoilt wicked little bitch just like your precious daughter, only you can fuck me. What’s the matter step daddy? Cat got your tongue? I bet you always wanted to fuck your mean little princess didn’t you? But you’re a good man and would never do that would you? But guess what? I’m not your daughter but I’m everything she is and more. Would you like a look under my shirt? Sure you would.
Hehe I see you like it step daddy. The outline of your cock is practically bursting out of your pants. Mmm and it looks so impressive. Let me have a peek <zip> oh step daddy, I can see why mommy married you. You’re so big! It’s making my mouth water. I need to have it step daddy, please say yes! I know you’re still hesitant so maybe it might convince you if I stopped calling you step daddy and instead called you… daddy. Mmm you like that don’t you… daddy? You want to put that big cock in my mouth and have my perfect pink lips suck it don’t you… daddy?
Mmmm thanks daddy for the great fucking, you’ve helped me complete so many nasty challenges. Suck a married cock. Check. Fuck an older man. Check. Call him daddy. Mmmm double check. After everything we got up to I completed over a dozen challenges, more than enough to take you bitch of a daughter’s crown. I just have to redeem the points now and assume the throne…. Mmmm it feels so good but something different is happening… oh fuck something amazing is happening!
Mmmm oh fuck yessss! Look at me, I’m a blonde busty bitch now! Im older and sexier and I feel so fucking nasty and hawt but how is this possible? Oh I see I unlocked a new challenge tree and a new rank. Mmmm ‘Homewrecker’ I love the sound of that! Who needs to be a bratty queen when I could be the wicked bitch that stole her daddy instead. Thats right darling, I’ve levelled up to being your mistress now and if you’re lucky and do as I say soon I’ll unlock ‘Trophy Wife’ and you can spoil me rotten as you should. Don’t worry I’ll still call you daddy, it makes everything feel so much more naughty. My mother? You mean that old crone Emma? She’s not my mother anymore, she not even my rival, she’s just an obstacle to our love, isn’t that right? Mmmm I knew you’d agree…. Daddy.
EPILOGUE
Alison was wondering what her father was doing that was taking so god damn long that he couldn’t have sent a car or something to pick her up from the mall like he promised. She had spent so much on his credit card that she was surrounded by high end boutique bags. Just when she was reaching her finally straw she got a message from him telling her he had sent a friend, some woman by the name of Gabrielle, to pick her up. Alison hadn’t heard of any Gabrielle before, except maybe her new dorky step sister but she went by Gabby anyway.
Following her father’s instructions to Gabrielle, Alison’s mouth was agape when she turned the corner to find a stunning blonde waiting for her. The blonde looked at Alison with distain and made Alison feel insignificant for the first time in her life. She didn’t like it. Gabrielle didn’t let up with her stare down, enjoying the way Alison averted her gaze. Alison meanwhile was grateful that their encounter was going to brief.
“So you’re Ted’s daughter? Hmmm I expected somebody a little more… impressive.” Gabrielle said not willing to hide her distaste. If this was anyone else Alison would have ground them to dust with only a few choice words but she felt so intimidated as she got into the car with the blonde bitch.
So much so that her phone dinged to tell her she lost some Brat points for her weakness. She had never lost points before! Gabrielle smirked to herself as she looked at her own phone and saw her points climb. She couldn’t wait become a wicked step mother.

Rumor Has It...
Being in the public eye was...grating. Katara thought that growing up in a small village, where everyone knew everyone's business would have inured her to the self-consciousness of having everyone talking about her and her business, but it didn't take long for her to learn that there was a difference between people who knew and loved her talking about her and strangers who were just hungry for gossip doing it. It was even worse when she was dating a man (and she used the term very loosely in her less charitable moods) who understood discretion even less than he understood his girlfriend's boundaries.
She had quickly learned to hate the cameras that were so popular in the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom. It made it harder for her to ignore what Aang was doing. Not that he was cheating on her. Of course he would never do that to his Forever Girl. But to see pictures of him with his fans hanging on his arm, gazing up adoringly at him, smiling proudly at the cameras when the reporters caught them coming out of some Air Nomad symposium or other. When Katara told him how much she hated the pictures, Aang would just shrug and say, "Well, it's not like I'm kissing them or anything!"
It was always somehow Katara's insecurities and mistrust that was the issue, and not him entertaining these young women who were plainly throwing themselves at him. When Katara asked him to set boundaries with them, he would scoff and blame her repressive upbringing in the barbaric Southern Water Tribe. The Air Nomads were more evolved about friendships between men and women. As if he would know, Katara fumed to herself silently. He was 12 when his education came to an abrupt end, and he had spent his entire life to that point in a sexually segregated monastery. When she told him how much the rumors bothered her, he regarded her with pity. If she was with him, he told her, to take her place on his arm, there wouldn't be any need for her to worry about the girls who'd taken her place. A slap in the face.
Katara did her best to ignore the rumors, even after they grew teeth. Even after they developed venom potent enough to kill. Because Aang wouldn't do that. Not sweet, innocent, literally couldn't harm the most evil man on the planet Aang. When he told her to take her place on his arm, he hadn't meant to imply that she should give up on her own ambitions to travel the world as the Avatar's Girlfriend. He knew how important it was for her to be home to prevent the Northern Tribe immigrants from getting too much of their own way. How important it was for her to reintroduce Southern style waterbending. So when the newspapers- which were always a week old by the time they made their way to the Southern Watertribe- began to report on growing rumors that the Avatar was known to have spent long nights sharing his culture with this woman or that, Katara clung to what she knew of him. The pictures didn't matter. There were any number of reasons for Aang to be emerging from his hotel with women who weren't her touching him knowingly. The pitying looks from the people who'd known and loved her her entire life and the insinuating whispers from the newcomers from the Northern Tribe didn't either. She wasn't stupid. Aang could be trusted...right?
Hakoda knew his daughter needed a distraction. The school was getting to the point that her constant presence wasn't needed, and he knew Katara could use a new challenge. He conferred with Sokka, who reached out to their friends, and a solution was reached. A diplomatic visit to the Fire Nation. Sokka and Suki would accompany her. The fact that it would take place during the summer court recess was not worth discussing. Zuko would be happy to host. Aang would be invited, too. His aversion to visiting the Southern Water Tribe had long been a sour point between him and Katara, but he could have no issues meeting his girlfriend on neutral ground, where he wouldn't accidentally come into contact with animal byproduct. He still hadn't given Katara a direct answer by the time she disembarked in Caldera. The paper was timely there. The day after she arrived, Katara read about the opening of an Air Nomad museum in the nascent Republic City. The woman on his arm in that paper was a petite, doll like creature with pouting lips and wide eyes that may have been grey or hazel. It was impossible to tell in the black and white photo.
"I had a trip planned to Ember Island," Zuko said over breakfast. It was just the two of them. Sokka and Suki were still in their room, and Iroh had plans with Piando and Jeong Jeong. Katara set the crumpled paper aside and smirked at him.
"And what bit of diplomacy are we expected to perform there?" she asked. Zuko coughed on the sip of tea he'd taken. He had at least the grace to look sheepish as he cleaned himself up.
"I guess I should have timed this better," he said. "I just wanted to show the world that the ties between the Fire Nation and the Southern Water Tribe were as strong as ever, but maybe I should have waited to the end of summer, when we returned to court."
"I don't know," Katara said, trying and failing to hold back a smile. "It's been three months since you visited us down south, and eight since the last time you had us visit. People were probably starting to think we'd fallen out."
"Yes, well..." Zuko mumbled. His face was tinged pink. "I did have another reason to invite you."
"Oh?" Katara raised an eyebrow at him. "And that would be?"
"I need help," he said. "I have some initiatives I want to introduce to the Fire Nation. Costly ones, like universal healthcare and education reform."
"Sounds serious," Katara said. "How can I help you?"
"Your father has told me how many of your ideas he's used to build up the Southern Tribe. That you were able to make room in the budget, even where there was literally no money for it. I'd like you to help me do that here."
Katara sat stunned for a moment. The hopeful look on Zuko's face was almost too painful to look at.
"The Southern Tribe is much smaller than the Fire Nation," she reminded him. "I was able to get creative because a lot of people were willing to volunteer to get some of my projects off the ground."
"You'll be working with a bigger budget," Zuko promised. "And with a team. You can pick whoever you'd like. Of course, I wouldn't expect you to do everything. If you could only help me get one of my initiatives off the ground, I'd be in your debt forever."
There was a long beat. Katara sat impassively, thinking quietly. After a moment, she smiled.
"No," she said, "you wouldn't be. I'd be happy to help you." Relief bled the tension out of Zuko's shoulders and he grinned at her.
"You'll have to be here a while," he said. "A few months at least."
"It's a good thing I like my room," Katara shrugged.
"You have no idea how much help you're giving me," Zuko insisted. "Consider the palace your home. You can invite Aang or- What's wrong?" Zuko's voice was suddenly panicked when he saw how stricken Katara looked. Her face had gone ashen and she clutched the table, doubled over as if she'd just been delt a blow. Zuko hesitated only long enough to see the first tear fall down her cheek before he was at her side and holding her as she cried.
Katara managed to gather herself in a few minutes. Enough that she could sit up and pass Zuko that morning's paper. His face fell when he saw the photo of Aang and the caption named as Himari. She had both arms wound possessively around Aang's, and he leaned into her, grinning, as if they were sharing an especially hilarious private joke. the blurb beneath the picture was a short, but piercing, speculating about the young Avatar's current relationship status and wondering where the Avatar's Girlfriend had been the last year.
"This...this is just-" Zuko scrambled for anything comforting to say. Katara turned her mournful eyes on him and shook her head.
"This is just the latest," she said, her voice cracking slightly. "He doesn't care if I see him."
"Katara-" Zuko's hand slipped into hers and he squeezed it tightly. Katara took in a deep, shuddering breath.
"It's okay," she lied. "I think I've known we were over for a while. I just wish he'd be a man about it and tell me to my face."
Zuko was silent for a long moment. It took all of Iroh's lessons in self control to keep his anger from spewing out like erupting lava. He ran his thumb over Katara's knuckles distractedly.
"What do you say we get Toph and crash at the summer house?" he suggested. "No newspapers, no work. Just us being lazy on the beach and pretending the rest of the world doesn't exist?"
Katara smiled weakly at him.
"I'd like that."

When Sun and Moon meet - S1
Zuko x Fem!WaterBender!Reader Enemies to Lovers
As one of the Princesses of the Northern Water tribe, you were blessed with a gift by the moon. However you were permitted to be allowed to use the gift at all costs. From many hidden waterbending usages, the aftermath of the avatar visiting the Northern Tribe had led to your beginning journey, hiding yourself as a water bender as a princess from the Northern water tribe
Warnings: mentions of arranged marriage
Masterlist
҉ * ‧͙ ⋆ ⁺ ༓ ☾ Chapter 1 - Welcome Avatar
“The avatar is here” The guard spoke up as my eyes widened in shock. “The…avatar…?” The guard nodded at my question. I genuinely thought the avatar had died a while ago but I guess they were just rumors? “Chief Arnook wants both of the princesses and prince to attend the gathering for the avatar” I nodded as I went to get up to follow the guards. It's been a year since Sivoy, our youngest brother, was born. Not a lot has changed over the years, except knowing probably this year is going to change us the most. Yue is getting engaged to someone who she has been crying about. I will never forget when she broke down in front of me in my room. I held her, that's all. I couldn't do anything, I couldn't whisper any reassuring words to her or tell her it's going to be okay. The truth is, I was consumed by my own fears of my own arranged marriage next year. It's selfish yes, especially it isn't my situation currently but it will be sooner or later.
We both make it towards the feast, also having Yue’s special announcement of her being able to get married. What everyone else doesn't know is that she is already engaged. I follow her lead, sitting next to her at the edge of the table looking at the variety of foods, which is all seafood. I take a quick peek of our surroundings and see our sister tribe. A sister and a brother which I assume, including a young boy with a blue shaped arrow across his head. “The Avatar is quite young” I whisper to Yue as she nods. I continue watching the show Master Pakku has been presenting to us. It was intriguing, for sure but what was more enjoyable was a southern water tribe member poorly flirting with my sister. Getting called out by his own sister already. I stifled a laugh and just when I knew it, the whole thing has already ended. ҉ ☾
It was quite late at night, the moon spirit was shining brightly. I bowed slightly towards the moon and put my mask on. The mask was carved like a full mood with room for eyes, including feathers surrounding the mask. I pull up my hood from my jacket and go outside, quite far away from the other male waterbenders who were practicing. I mimic the movements that were taught to them. Yes, this is how I'm able to learn and use waterbending. I never know when to give up, I have been told many times by a variety of people. My dad specifically. “Hey! Young one!” I snap my head towards the sound of guards and before they could even ask a question, I disappear. “Where did he go?” one of the guards asked, clearing the mist lingering in the air from my leave. Home. I went home heavily breathing from almost getting caught. I'll just try again tomorrow.
“It wasn't as fun after you left…” I wanted to drown. Oh how much I just wanted to flip this boat upside down to stop Yue and this Southern Water boy from flirting, and I could have flipped this boat around if there were no restrictions. The next thing I know that stopped me from day dreaming was the southern water boy falling off the ledge. I laughed softly, asking Yue “Do you even know his name?” while she was waving off to her new crush. “Sokka” She responded dreamily with a hint of red on her cheeks. My eyes widened with sudden worry “Yue…” The way I spoke was intended to remind her that she was an engaged lady. I doubt father would allow her to marry someone else, especially if he is constantly traveling. “I know” Yue cut me off with a disappointing tone I felt nothing but sorrow in the moment, what's worse I couldn't do anything to save her. I stayed silent, leaning slightly back hearing the water move around us.
I was able to stop by Yagoda’s place, there was no reason to but she taught me when I was very young, it was a way to make use of my water bending by my father. She only taught how to heal however but what more can you do in this kind of situation. It's only fair I show respect for her by bringing her food, supplies, trinkets or even my presence. Before I stepped foot I overheard her talking to…someone? I take a little peek, leaning my body so only my eyes would be visible towards the door. It was the southern water tribe girl! What is she doing here…? Looking further towards the door only to realize she’s a waterbender…She's a water bender! I could use her to somehow convince Master Pakku and my father. Yes, it sounds horrible. Using an important guest to my own advantage but it's beneficial for everyone, even her so it's not entirely selfish. I wasn't able to convince Master Pakku. Instead he told my father my plan which led me to get in more trouble than I already was. I'm just a princess, and that's all I will ever be. My head snapped up as I heard the Southern Water Tribe girl coming closer. I took the chance to grab her wrist and pull her to the side. “Hey! Who-” “It's me!” I said pointing to my very obvious white hair. “Oh you're the younger princess! What happened?” “You can waterbend? Correct?” I asked already knowing the answer “Yes…why?” “Because I feel like you can convince Master Pakku to allow us girls to waterbend” I whisper “A lot of girls have water bending abilities however they’re forced to keep it in because of the strict rules but!” I pointed at her “Your the southern side of the water tribe, maybe somehow show him your abilities and possibly convince him to allow girls to water bend” She looked at me confused. “How am I able to do that when I can't even learn whatever he is teaching?” I thought about it for a second until an idea popped into my head “Get it from your avatar friend! He is getting taught, right?” Her eyes widened as she nodded “You're right! Then I'll get it from him. Thank you…uh- princess…” I giggled “Y/N, just call me Y/N” “Katara” “Thank you Katara” I smiled as she walked away.
And this was the last thing I wanted. Seeing Katara and Master Pakku fight with waterbending. “This is all my fault” I muttered under my breath. “Your fault?” Yue attempted to confirm my statement. “What?” I look at her confused. Did I really say that out loud? “You said something” “I'm sure I did not” “But I hear-”
A big wave of water hit the ice, hearing the splash turned me away from the conversation. Both Yue and I were wincing from the sound of the impact. Last thing I see is Katara with a bunch of icicles surrounding her. She…lost…
I sigh sadly as I go to grab Katara's betrothal necklace that laid on the icy floor. But before I was able to, “This is my necklace…” Master Pakku grabs it gently. I immediately walked back. Ah…so the southern tribe existed because Katara’s family members did not want to stay in an area with unnecessary rules. It was quick to piece together. I heard Yue’s breathing become unstable, so I turned to look at her but she didn't look back. She was slightly shaking and tears were brimming her blue eyes. “Yue…” I spoke softly and sadly, reaching for her shoulders but she ran, covering her eyes with her hands to prevent more tears from falling. “Yue!” I yelled, already planning to chase her only for the southern water tribe boy to pull me back. “I’ll get her” He gave a reassuring smile then ran towards Yue. Both of them slowly disappearing. I wonder if he knows why Yue was crying. I furrowed my eyebrows in pity and turned on my heel to go back. “Y/N!” Katara yelled out for me, I turned towards her direction. “Thank you” she said out of breath. “I didn't really do anything” “You helped me gain confidence” She smiled “Well…your welcome and thank you for…all of that” I patted her on the head and she laughed. “You're an amazing water bender” I said and turned to go home. I sigh sadly wondering if Yue is alright.

some more spitballing for the Avatar Zuko AU:
After the Agni Kai, Zuko is afraid of his own fire. The one who ends up helping him through this is Gyatso. His life might have been brought to its end by fire, but he is old enough to remember a time when firebending was not just associated with destruction.
The valley in which Aang grew up in was of the subterranean variety- the last place anyone would ever think to look for airbenders. Before Zuko arrived, he'd never left it, though he would often climb up until he could see the sky.
(his father left once, to get medicine for his mother after she fell ill during her second pregnancy. he never returned, and his mother and his younger sibling died.)
Aang at first only knows Zuko as 'Li', but once Toph joins them, she very quickly outs that as an alias. He's forced to admit his name is actually Zuko, and that he's the exiled former prince of the Fire Nation.
Aang, looking Zuko up and down: ...are you sure about the prince part?
Zuko: what's that supposed to mean?
According to rumors, the new Avatar is an Earth Kingdom boy named Li. Long Feng knows this is impossible- his predecessor had the former Earth Kingdom avatar in his possession, but allowed him to kill himself before the Dai Li could take complete control of him. Therefore the new Avatar must be from the Fire Nation.
All the more reason to capture him and bring him under his control.
Sokka: Okay. You know how I said you were being paranoid about the whole 'everyone wants to kill you thing'?
Zuko: Yeah?
Sokka: ...I think you might have been right about Long Feng, actually.
Zuko: No shit.
the rumors of Prince Zuko being a traitor reach the Fire Nation before the rumors of him being the Avatar do. when Azula is sent to collect him, she's in for the shock of her life.
What do you mean, Zuzu is the Avatar? He's Zuzu! He's not even a very good firebender!
Iroh arrives at the North Pole after Zuko does, after his friend Pakku sends him a very curious letter informing him that the Avatar has arrived there. Finally, he will have his chance to teach the young man firebending. He seems to know the basics already, but Iroh knows many advanced techniques he is certain will be helpful.
When he gets there, the Avatar is trying really, really hard to avoid him.
Aang: Why are you avoiding Mister Iroh? I thought you said he was your uncle.
Zuko: He is. That's why I know he wants to kill me.
Toph: Pretty sure Pakku said he wanted to teach you firebending.
Zuko: Well that can't be right. Why would the dragon of the west want to teach the Avatar firebending?
(Iroh will eventually run into Zuko despite his best efforts... but he is only deeply confused as to how his nephew got to the North Pole. Pakku, why didn't you tell me he was here? You know I have been searching for him.)
#avatar zuko au#pakku just staring at zuko. zuko very purposefully not looking at him.#what do you MEAN the avatar is Iroh's nephew?#he holds his tongue though. if the avatar wishes to conceal this then it isn't his place to say#iroh will find out regardless.

I hate the mcu-ification of atla. Milking this series is a terrible idea. Avatar shouldn't be a franchise
Look, i am excited about the older gaang movie because i just miss them so much, but it's extremely possible that the movie is gonna be bad
And there are rumors that we are getting a new series after Korra, we are so fucked…..
We all know damn well that whatever they're gonna do with all these new projects will not even come near the brilliance of the original. They're all just set up to disappoint expectations and end in failure right from the start
Part of me still think atla should have been a standalone. There, i said it
#avatar the last airbender#atla#aang#katara#zuko#sokka#toph#atla movie#atla comics#atla is becoming a money grab now and i hate it#and sorry guys but LOK was bad#same the comics#only imbalance was good

But that isn't enough,
After you conquered the lower class of demons you climbed your way up to meet the socialites

There's a different face among the crowds
There's Leviathan
Sitting in front with no one beside him
That's weird, your manager told you that every ticket are sold out and the VVIP tickets are sold at the same day...
No way...
Did Leviathan bought all the VVIP tickets?!
Yes, yes he did.
He even bought a special fan meet ticket.
"Hi! Good evening!" You cheerfully greeted to your only fan that managed to afford your over the top VVIP fan meet ticket.
"Have a seat." How weird, the rumors said he's all shy and stuttery but the person you're seeing right now is no weeb, it's the grand admiral.
"Ah, yes... Thank you!" Even though nervousness is starting to cloud your senses you need to keep your idol persona or else some nasty news will dug themselves up from the graves.
"I must say your pricing is totally over the top but I expected it from an idol whose at the top of the current food chain." Wow, how blunt.
"Yup! This ticket allows my fans have more indept conversation with me!" You smiled with your usual bright grin.
"Yeah, I almost thought it's a bait for those in the noble class. You know, for them to brag about how they managed to get their hands on such ticket." He replied as he took a sip of the coffee in front of the two of you.
"I'll go straight to the catch." He voiced out as soon as the mug landed on the glass of the coffee table.
"I want you to perform for my birthday." You almost choked up on your own spit after what he said sinked in.
"Aw... I'm deeply sorry but my manager won't allow me-" Is what I'm about to say but my manager barged into the room, sweating adn excused herself saying she has something to say to me.
She went closer and whispered something to me "He's willing to pay hundred of billions Darling! Hundreds of millions!"
What? Is he some type of freak? Why would he pay hundreds of millions just to have some idol like me to dance and sing around for his birthday?

Based on this post by @daily-zutara-prompts
“I just can't believe he'd do that to mom,” Katara huffed, as Zuko poured her a glass of wine. It was a vintage he'd been wanting to try, but he wasn't much of a drinker himself. He didn't like the way wine clouded his judgment and made it harder to stave off the dark thoughts that always hovered on the edges of his subconscious, threatening to drag him down into the depths. But when Katara had come asking for something strong, he'd obliged. He'd never been able to deny her anything.
Zuko poured himself a glass and sat down opposite her, holding the wine up to his nose to get a whiff of the warm Fire Nation spices mixed with the scent of fermented fruits from the isles. “Have you met her?” he asked calmly, with interest.
Katara wiped her eyes and sniffed. “Yes, once or twice,” she took a small sip of the wine, then a larger one. She cleared her throat “But, honestly, I guess I haven't been as…present in the past few weeks. You know, everything with Aang…I haven't been home enough.”
Katara swirled the wine in her glass, then took another long drink.
“It's like I've been afraid to go home.” She looked down, and Zuko could see the shame in her expression, the way she couldn't quite meet his eyes. He tried to will her to meet his gaze, wishing he could fix her sadness, wishing that she would look at him with only that joy and determination that were his favorite things about her. But she had come to him to talk, and he would do his best to listen, to be the support she clearly needed.
“No one blames you for what happened,” he said quietly but firmly, swirling his own glass and watching the dark red legs of the wine trickle down the sides.
Katara looked up, then, setting down her glass. “Oh, come on, Zuko,” she said, the fire that he remembered igniting behind her blue eyes. “The entire Earth Kingdom knows me as the Avatar's ex, the girl he left behind in pursuit of a younger, more ‘enlightened’ partner. The whole world worships the ground he walks on, just like she does. I'm ostrich-horse dung, as far as the world is concerned.”
There was no use in pretending he hadn't heard the rumors, just as she had. He regretted that he hadn't been there for her as much as he had wanted to be, but if he were being honest with himself, it wasn't just his duties as Fire Lord or his friendship with Aang that had kept him from getting involved, then. More like, he was afraid of what he would have done, had Katara chosen to confide in him about her relationship troubles. Of what he very much should not do, of the feelings he had harbored that had only grown over the years. He thought of how often he had imagined Katara coming to him to confess her feelings, to ask him if he felt the same way…
But that hadn't happened, and that wasn't what Katara needed now.
Zuko took another sip of spiced wine.
“I know you're right,” Katara said, her eyes still a bit misty. “And of course I want him to be happy, and of course I know he's been lonely, he's had to be. It's just…weird.”
“No one blames you,” he said again, even though what he really wanted to say was I don't blame you, and what he really meant was I love you. “Talk to your dad. If she makes him happy, then that's a good thing, right? I know it's hard, but it doesn't mean he's replacing your mom.”
“I know,” he said, his hand reaching out and stopping just short of touching hers.
Katara rubbed her forefinger along the rim of her glass. “How'd you deal with it?”
“Well,” Zuko said, “It's not the same, obviously. I don't care if my mom wants to forget about my dad. She'd be better off. Was better off.” Zuko took another long drink. “But I'd be lying if I said I never felt…resentful, when I found out that she had a new family and everything. A whole new life.”
Katara listened in fascination. “Really?”
“Yeah.” Zuko cradled his glass of wine.
“But you and Kiyi get along so well!”
“Yeah,” Zuko said, smiling at the thought of his half-sister. “That's what helped me a lot, at the beginning, knowing that I had this sister I didn't even know about who wouldn't have existed if mom hadn't remarried.”
“And now?”
“Now, I just…” Zuko thought for a minute. The dark shadows were clawing at the edges. Too much wine. But if he was going to drink, it would be with Katara, who he trusted more with himself than he trusted himself. “I think about how different things were back then. And I know they're never going to be the same, even the good parts.” Katara was watching him, taking in his every word. “And I think about how sad my mom was, even when things were good. I didn't know it back then, of course, because I was just a kid. But I'm not a kid anymore. And I'm happy for her happiness, you know?”
He smiled in a way that he hoped was reassuring, although he was a bit stupid from the wine. He didn't know if any of what he was saying made sense, although it did in his head when he had thought of saying it.
“Happy for her happiness,” Katara repeated, thoughtfully. “Yeah. Thanks, Zuko.”
She reached out, then, placing her warm hand over his, and her smile was warm and lovely, and he thought he could be happy for her, too. All he wanted was her happiness. That was all he had ever wanted, even if it was never going to be with him.

a/n: i hope this chapter will meet your expectations, and from now on the romance will only get better
Resentment. It was an unfamiliar feeling for Y/N, something that hadn’t occurred even in the face of Kaye’s family’s open disapproval of her during the past years. But now, as she endured the constant barrage of congratulations from other villagers on her upcoming engagement to the future chief (rumors traveled faster than she expected), and the hovering of Tsahik near her, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a growing sense of hostility towards them all. The resentment had taken root deep within her, growing stronger with each lesson, when she would feel the way Mo’at’s gaze would linger on her for too long, watching her at all times. As if suddenly Y/N wasn’t herself anymore but only carried the sole purpose of being a good mate for her grandchild. All Y/N wanted was to hide, and her safest place, where she usually found solace was now unavailable. Being in the village, really, was unsafe, as she didn’t want to accidentally see Neteyam, or even worse, Kaye with his new mate.
Now that the reality had settled in, and her arrangement to the Olo’eyktan’s son was far from being broken, Y/N was too scared to face it. So she sought refuge in hiding, avoiding the pressure as nifty as she could by skipping communal dinners and retreating into the forest, once she was done with her chores. Kiri wasn’t blind to her eagerness to escape, and so she gave her space, treating her more delicately than usual. But Tsahik didn’t seem to be as understanding, and she pressed on, either being oblivious or just willfully ignorant to Y/N’s mounting irritation.
The days dragged on slowly recently with a temporary lull settling between the sky people and the clan after a big clash. Both parties had to retreat to recover, which meant that in the past days, there were fewer warriors to treat, and Y/N, along with the other healers, had more time for studying and minor tasks. Though she wasn’t sure if it was for the better or the worse; of course, with less battles, she wouldn’t have to accidentally run into Kaye or Neteyam, but at the same time enduring Mo’at’s not-so-accidental lectures about serving the clan suddenly felt suffocating too. So, when another lesson came to an end, Y/N was one of the first to hastily rise to her feet to escape. Kiri observed her quietly with a defeated look, seeing no point in arguing. But Tsahik’s frustration with Y/N’s attitude became increasingly evident.
“Kiri and Y/N, stay behind,” Mo’at ordered.
Y/N clenched her jaw, reluctantly settling down on the ground beside Kiri, who offered her a strained smile. The silence lingered as they waited for the other healers to depart, leaving the three of them alone.
“What is it, grandmother?”
“I want you two to begin participating in our ceremonial rituals to deepen your knowledge and connection with the Great Mother. We haven’t had much time to focus on them recently, but they are integral to the Omatikaya way of life,” Mo’at settled herself in front of the two women and continued, “Tomorrow morning, there will be the communal for mothers and their newborns to connect with Eywa. As the tsakarem, I want you to assist me.”
“Thank you, grandmother, it would be an honor,” Kiri broke into a delighted smile, clearly excited for getting a bigger role than she usually did.
A small smile stretched Y/N’s lips too, happy for Kiri. Over the years of working alongside each other, Y/N had learned that Kiri had a natural affinity for animals and children. Being entrusted with a role in such an important ceremony must have felt like a gift. Y/N turned her attention back to Tsahik then, waiting to hear the purpose behind her inclusion in the conversation.
“Y/N, you must also participate alongside Kiri,” Mo’at finally granted her attention, “As the future Olo’eyktan’s mate, you must embrace our traditions and become a support for Kiri.”
“It is a great honor, Tsahik, but I do have to question your choice. I do not feel prepared to assist in such a ceremony in front of the entire clan. I fear I would be of little help,” she confessed with a pang of insecurity.
Y/N had grown accustomed to being reserved and unnoticed in the clan, attending only to people who sought her help in the quiet solitude of the healing tent, where there was no pressure of public performance. Considering how the news of her arrangement to Neteyam was already drawing so much attention to her, no matter how great the honor was, she had to refuse.
“I have noticed your increasing doubts in your Tsahik lately,” Mo’at’s voice became harsher, and Y/N had to summon all of her willpower to refrain from pleading with her to stop, “Are you doubting Eywa’s guidance too?”
Eywa’s guidance. Y/N wanted to scoff at the words that have been used countlessly now to force her into situations she did not want to be in. Her parents’ death, Kaye’s arrangement, her union with Neteyam… everything she dreaded was justified with Eywa’s name, as if the Great Mother had a vision when putting her through it all. It seemed ridiculous.
“I am not doubting Eywa’s guidance, but I do question whether or not the signs have been misinterpreted for the benefit of somebody else, rather than mine.”
As the words left her mouth, Y/N regretted them already. She had never dared to challenge Tsahik so directly, let alone voice her concerns about Mo’at’s lifelong commitment. Kiri gulped down nervously, looking in between the two.
“Rather than yours?” Mo’at raised her eyebrows in surprise, “You dare to question if the signs that brought you to this point were for the benefit of the others?”
“Grandmother, I don’t think she meant that -” Kiri tried to intertwine, sensing her grandmother’s growing frustration but it was too late. Mo’at raised her hand to silence her, a scowl forming on her face, as she kept her eyes trained on Y/N.
“The Great mother had looked after you since the day you became orphaned. It was her that pushed you into the arms of the Olo’eyktan and his family, her, who guided you into a care. You wanted to be ‘useful,’ isn’t that what you told me?” Tsahik’s voice raised with an accusatory tone, and Y/N felt herself sinking in her seat, “The day when Jakesully had brought you to me and asked for help in guiding you… do you think it was the first time he came to me? I had no intentions of taking you in, I already had a tsakarem and students chosen, I did not need somebody with no knowledge or interest in healing. But then the Great Mother had sent me a sign, had spoken to me in my dream to give you a chance because she had a plan for you all along.”
Both Y/N and Kiri blinked in surprise at the revelation, as they heard the reasoning. They had always assumed that Mo’at had taken in Y/N out of the Olo’eyktan’s request, but they never realized that the initial request had been rejected. It dawned on them that Eywa had been actively looking out for Y/N all along. Y/N's face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and gratitude.
“Didn’t you wish for a place in the clan? To be accepted because you had lost your family, and therefore, your role?” Tsahik continued, her expression unwavering, “Now the Great Mother has given you the chance to be ‘useful,’ to stand next to the Olo’eyktan. Isn’t that a great honor?”
“It is,” Y/N mumbled, her ears lowering in defeat. Kiri shifted in her seat slightly, feeling as if she was getting scolded too.
“So, you do realize that it is an honor,” Mo’at rose to her feet, “Yet you have done nothing but complain about it. As if you had great sacrifices to make. All that is asked of you is to learn and remain strong to help your mate. As the future leaders of this clan, Neteyam and Kiri already carry a big responsibility on their shoulders. You need to be next to them, be a capable and resilient woman to offer your support whenever it is required. You have been blessed by the Great Mother, Y/N, trust in her will.”
Y/N took a moment to absorb Mo'at's impassioned words, her heart heavy with conflicting emotions. While it felt awful to bear such weight, she realized that Mo’at was right. There were always greater sacrifices to make, the clan was in danger, and if Eywa had sent signs about her, it would be foolish to go against them. Kiri reached to squeeze Y/N's hand in support, and Y/N took a deep breath, straightening her posture.
“I see you, Tsahik,” she spoke, her voice steady, “I hear your wisdom, and I will not question it again.”
Mo’at nodded, content with Y/N’s answer, but there was also a hint of gratitude for the compliance. Ever since the decision has been made, her heart felt heavy for forcing Neteyam and Y/N into a union, but she was sure that it was the right path to follow.
“You are free to go,” Mo’at’s expression softened.
Kiri lingered behind, watching after Y/N left. She then turned her head to her grandmother.
“Grandmother, don’t you think that was a little harsh? She’s having a hard time already.”
“Y/N had to be reminded of her destiny instead of fighting it. Once she does, things will start falling into their places,” Mo’at explained with a sigh.
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵
The clinking of the metal knife blended with the crackling of the burning wood and the distant laughter of Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuktirey. The family was preparing to sleep, with Neytiri keeping a watchful eye over her children as she silently prayed to Eywa to keep them safe. Neteyam sat alone by the fire, occupied with the sharpening of his knife. When he noticed his father settling beside him, he barely lifted his gaze.
“I think you’ve finished with that, looks good,” Jake nodded at the knife, giving his son's shoulder a reassuring pat. "Are you tired?"
"Not more than usual," Neteyam sighed, continuing to hone his weapon despite his father's approval.
"Tomorrow will be a little slow too, so use this opportunity to gather your energy. Don't stay up too late, go and catch up on your sleep."
Neteyam nodded, stealing a quick glance over his shoulder at his siblings. They were still playing that silly game, where they had to create patterns with their long beaded strings without getting them tangled. Tuk laughed wholeheartedly, as Kiri swatted Lo’ak for getting his string tangled up with hers. A pang of longing tugged at Neteyam's heart, wishing he could join in the carefree fun. But he knew his responsibilities as he grew older. Jake watched him with a slight concern, and when Neteyam moved to put his knife away and retire for the night, he gently tugged at his son’s belt, signaling him to stay a little longer.
"Before you go, there's something I need to discuss with you.”
Neteyam settled back down, his full attention now on his father.
"Yes, sir. What is it?" he asked cautiously, sensing as if there was something bothering Jake.
“Nothing bad, don’t worry,” Jake reassured with a forced smile, but it fell short of easing up the tension, “Y/N doesn’t show up at the dinners anymore. Do you know where she is?”
“I don’t know, sir,” Neteyam shrugged absentmindedly, “She might just need some space.”
Space. Or maybe she was just hiding from him. Intentionally avoiding Neteyam because despite their conversation that night, he couldn’t shake the feeling that nothing changed. At least, not for her. Neteyam wondered if she was still repulsed by the idea of being with him. And that took a very heavy toll on his heart. Why did fate have to choose the one woman who had already given her love to another?
“Space,” Jake repeated, as if processing the word, then nodded in acceptance, “And the other day, when she came to the training camp, did you end up finding her afterward? You still haven’t told me what happened.”
“Yes, sir,” Neteyam bit the side of his cheek, as if contemplating how much he could reveal. He decided to keep it brief, like reporting a mission, “She was upset and wandered off to the forest, but she was unharmed and let me take her back home. It seems like Y/N and Kaye had some sort of misunderstanding, though she assured me that it’s all in the past now. She only acted out of her emotions.”
“Oh,” Jake was a little taken back by the revelation, “I didn’t know that.”
He fell quiet for a moment, feeling a mixture of guilt and confusion. To be quite honest, Jake felt like he didn’t keep his promise of keeping an eye on Y/N, and realized the implications of his negligence only now. Witnessing her argument with Kaye, a warrior with whom he had never seen her interact, had caught Jake off guard. How much did he miss anyway? Did something happen between Y/N and Kaye? Jake couldn’t escape the nagging guilt of not knowing. Yes, he had entrusted Y/N’s well-being to Mo’at years ago, but did he ever make an effort to make sure she was alright? Just watching her from afar couldn’t be enough, could it? To top it off, his own family was forcing her into a bond with his oldest son. Despite all the possibilities and respect Y/N could get in her new role, he still wasn’t sure if it was the right decision to make. Jake cleared his throat, speaking with a more hopeful tone.
“And how are things between you two? Are you getting along with her?”
“I haven’t spoken or seen her much lately, sir,” Neteyam replied, pressing his lips into a thin line. Of course he hadn’t, because Y/N avoided him.
“Hey, let’s drop the ‘sir,’ okay? We’re talking as father and son right now,” Jake’s expression softened, “Be honest with me, don’t you like her? I thought she was a nice girl.”
“I think she is a nice girl too, dad,” Neteyam let his shoulders slump for a moment, almost as if he had to relax to be able to tell the truth, “But I don’t think she likes me much… I kind of think she hates me.”
“Hates you? That’s a strong word, Neteyam,” Jake chuckled, finding some humor in the exaggeration, “Maybe she’s just scared because she doesn’t really know you.”
Neteyam shrugged, though he felt a small sense of relief wash over him. Maybe his father was right.
“Look, son, you can’t expect her to like you unless you give her a chance to get to know you first,” Jake continued, his voice filled with paternal wisdom, “Maybe you should work on breaking down that barrier. Y/N is a smart girl but she needs to see you’re a good person, not just a warrior following the orders. Show her the real you, just Neteyam.”
“And how do I do that? Show her this… just Neteyam?” uncertainty swirled in Neteyam’s eyes.
“Well, for starters, try talking to her,” his father suggested with a teasing smirk, “Go visit her, ask to spend time with you. Do you think your mother fell head over heels for me at first sight?”
“Yeah, you always say that it was love at first sight,” Neteyam chuckled, humoring Jake.
“Sure, barely,” Jake let out a laugh, “Your mom thought I was a crazy sky person who didn't understand the Na'vi ways. I mean, there was definitely an initial attraction and mutual fascination, but it was only thanks to Eywa that I even survived. It took some time for your mom to warm up to me. And the more time we spent together, and got to know each other, that’s when the sparks started flying.”
Neteyam listened intently, hanging on each word. It was as if Jake was giving him a guide to navigate this relationship with Y/N. Not that Neteyam was in love with her, or liked her, for that matter, but he recognized the importance of trying. The thought of enduring a lifetime of her hostility would be suffocating. At least, he could be content with having a friend, a companion he could trust and rely on in the journey of life.
“Listen, I know that this whole thing puts a lot of pressure on both of you, but sometimes, the paths we desire don't align with the paths laid out for us,” Jake reached to pat Neteyam’s shoulder once more, “Remember, there's a reason for everything. Trust in Eywa's plan, even if it takes time to make sense of it all… I have trusted in Eywa and in our people, and it only led me to the greatest happiness of my life. I would hate to see you miss out on it. So, just give it a chance, alright?”
“And if it doesn’t work out as well as it did for you, then what?” Neteyam’s voice wasn’t defensive, more resigned than anything.
“If you genuinely give it your best effort and it’s still not meant to be, then you have my support,” Jake affirmed with a gentle voice, “Your happiness matters to me, and I don’t care if it goes against the traditions. I will stand by your side and we will figure it out, how does that sound?
Neteyam nodded, his heart quickening at the anticipation as he absorbed his father’s words. They always had shared a strong bond, rooted in a deep understanding, but with the recent circumstances, Neteyam had begun feeling somewhat isolated from his family. He broke into a wide toothy grin.
“We got a deal, dad.”
Jake laughed, then gestured towards his older daughter to drop the game and join them. Kiri rolled her eyes, but complied nonetheless, walking to them.
“Babygirl, your brother could use your help. You spend a lot of time with Y/N, right? What can you share about her with him?”
︵‿︵‿︵‿︵
He saw her during the ceremony in the morning for the first time in days, and Neteyam, for some reason, felt nervous. Not that he was closely familiar with the feeling, but there was something about the way she delicately assisted his grandmother and the women with their newborns that made his mouth suddenly dry. While his family beamed with pride as Kiri took on such an important role, guiding the clan members through the ceremony and orchestrating their placements within the intricate pattern, Neteyam couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for finding Y/N more captivating.
So hours later, long after the ceremony had concluded and he had fulfilled most of his day’s duties, Neteyam made his way into the healing tent to finish the last chore - the one his father had given him the evening prior. And the second he entered, the healers, engrossed in their tasks, were suddenly intrigued by his presence. The future Olo’eyktan had no visible injuries and seemed unharmed, which meant that there was a specific reason for his visit. And considering the news of engagement between him and Y/N spreading, it wasn’t difficult to make a connection. Mo’at had granted him not more than a mere nod, fully aware of Neteyam’s intention. And Neteyam stiffened slightly, as he walked through the spacious tent, politely greeting everyone, eliciting giggles and knowing smiles in response.
Then his eyes finally spotted Y/N along with his sister on the far end, both immersed in their work, as they weaved fresh sets of mats. Kiri noticed him right away, greeting her brother with an exasperated roll of her eyes. Neteyam hesitated for a moment at the reactions, and suddenly felt awkward to be interrupting their work with his presence, especially when Y/N paid him absolutely no mind. He took a few more steps, coming to a halt before the two women, and cleared his throat.
The sound finally made Y/N look up and meet his gaze, and her expression immediately changed into a frown. He greeted her, and she returned the gesture politely, though in her mind she couldn’t figure out a reason for his arrival.
"Neteyam," she acknowledged him, her tone guarded, "What brings you here? Are you injured?"
He stiffened again, sensing the suspicion in her inquiries. Of course he wasn’t injured, the question seemed more like a mocking gesture, undermining his carefully crafted plan. Kiri, who had gone over it with their father just the night before, rolled her eyes impatiently.
“I am not injured, thank you for asking,” he finally answered, gaining a little more courage, “I actually came here because I wanted to see you.”
No matter how much she tried to hide it, a subtle flush spread across Y/N’s cheeks in response to the unexpected directness, knowing well that the whole tent was watching. Her gaze shifted momentarily to Kiri, who only seemed to be amused by the exchange.
"Oh," Y/N let out, regaining her composure and looking back at Neteyam, "Perhaps you meant that somebody else told you to come here and see me?”
Now she was definitely mocking him. Kiri huffed in an attempt to suppress a chuckle - her brother would have to really work to break through the underlying tension. It seemed so easy last night, when Jake was telling him how to win a woman’s heart, how communication and honesty is the best foundation for a relationship. However, right now, Neteyam wondered if revealing the actual answer would truly be helpful.
“Perhaps,” he answered, deciding on keeping it vague, "But it's not really important. Spending more time together wouldn’t hurt.”
“Fascinating,” Y/N bit her lip in amusement.
At this, Kiri couldn't contain her giggles any longer, her eyes gleaming with mischief. A twinge of irritation flitted across Neteyam's expression, but he swiftly regained his composure, refusing to be defeated, especially not in front of his baby sister. Without waiting for a further response, Neteyam sat down crossed-legged in front of them, resting his palms over his thighs.
“Alright," Y/N sighed, her gaze lingering on his frame for a moment before averting, “It’s not like I can refuse anyway.”
The tension settled back in again at the mention of her defeat. And though there was an internal shift within Y/N since her conversation with Tsahik, she wasn’t keen on openly showing it. The wounds from the past, Kaye’s betrayal, still fueled her resentment towards the whole arrangement. But she was also tired, too hurt to keep thinking back on the past. She desperately wanted to move on, escape from her own mistakes.
“Right, so we’re working on making some new mats for the tent,” Kiri chimed in with a light-hearted tone, finally deciding to help her brother, “There’s clearly a need for that, since we have more warriors to treat now.”
Neteyam nodded, fully understanding. Often, he would find himself sitting on the cold ground when the rest of the mats were taken, especially after heavy encounters with the sky people that left many injured warriors.
“Since it is somewhat more peaceful, we are using this time for learning and restocking,” Kiri continued, while Y/N resumed her weaving, “We've already replenished our supplies of healing herbs, balms, and bandages too. So now we are trying to make the tent more comfortable and equipped.”
Neteyam listened carefully, the information needed to be absorbed if he was to lead the clan one day. But his eyes fixated on Y/N’s nimble fingers, expertly weaving the strands of material. Her movements were swift and determined but graceful at the same time, as if her whole personality, her resilience and tenderness was reflected in the way she worked. Maybe underneath all of that cold exterior, she was concealing a warmth waiting to be unleashed.
“Can I help?” he offered.
“That’s a great idea, brother,” Kiri encouraged. She couldn’t help but take on the role her father had asked her to, “Y/N can show you how. She’s the best at this stuff.”
Having witnessed the toll that Kaye's mating with another woman had taken on Y/N, Kiri couldn't bear to see her friend lose the spark in her eyes. Deeply empathetic, Kiri understood the pain of losing a mother, of feeling alone at times, and of being denied the love that was within reach. Yet, Kiri was also concerned for Neteyam. She knew her brother's selflessness and willingness to sacrifice, but being arranged to mate with a woman who was already taken seemed cruel. Although Neteyam would never voice his discontent, it was clear that he didn't want things to be strained between him and Y/N. He held onto hope that the situation could change. So quietly, in her mind, Kiri made a promise to Eywa to follow her signs.
Y/N paused for a moment, surprised, then scooted over to make more room for Neteyam by her side. Kiri nodded discreetly, signaling for him to move closer, and Neteyam hurried to settle next to her, almost too quickly, bumping his shoulder into hers. Quietly, Y/N passed him a bundle of fibers and gestured for him to untangle it.
“I think you got it from here, I’ll go check if mom needs help at home,” Kiri announced, rising to her feet.
Kiri did not care that her excuse might have seemed ingenuine to both Y/N and Neteyam, but there was little else they could do about it. With a graceful stride, she made her way towards the exit. And as she departed, Kiri made sure to exchange knowing glances with the other healers, her discreet smirk signaling for them to finish up their tasks too. Whispers passed, and gradually, as Y/N started to walk Neteyam through the steps of weaving a pattern, the tent began to empty, leaving the two of them alone.
“I did not expect this to be harder than weaving bracelets,” Neteyam sighed in defeat, his fingers entangled in the strings once again.
“It is only because you are rushing,” Y/N responded, covering his hands with hers, hoping to slow him down. The touch seemed to startle both of them, but neither showed it.
“But I don’t have the privilege to take my time with this when I can be called into a battle any second,” he explained, stopping his movements, “I don’t want to leave it unfinished.”
“You can finish it another time. Patience is the key.”
Neteyam nodded once more, and Y/N slowly peeled her hands away from his. Taking a deep breath in, Neteyam restarted the pattern, this time allowing himself a bit more time, as he recalled the steps she had shown him. Y/N's gaze wandered around the tent, noting its emptiness, and suddenly it felt like the air had shifted. A delicate deep blue color tinged her cheeks as she stole a glance at Neteyam. He was concentrating hard on getting the pattern right, and Y/N wondered if it was because he excelled at everything and didn't want to fail at something as seemingly simple as weaving, or if he wanted to impress her and build a bridge. Regardless of the intention, she found herself getting amused at the way his tongue poked out of his parted lips and his eyebrows knitted together.
“I did it!” he exclaimed with a relieved laugh, proudly pointing at the completed small circle he had crafted around the base. There was still a long way to go, with many more sets of larger circles to be woven around it, yet the pride was unremarkable in his voice.
“That looks good,” Y/N complimented, a small smile playing on her lips.
He returned the smile, then suddenly realized that perhaps he was being too loud. Neteyam’s eyes scanned the tent for a confirmation of his doubts, only to find that there was no one else there with them. His smile quickly dropped into a small pout.
"Did I take that long?" he asked, genuinely upset with the pace of his progress. "I mean, if everyone else has already finished their tasks and left."
“That’s not why they left,” Y/N raised her eyebrows slightly, as if waiting for him to take the hint. But Neteyam remained silent, waiting for her to elaborate. She sighed, “I believe it was Kiri that encouraged everyone to leave the two of us alone.”
Yeah, Kiri definitely did not feel the need to include Neteyam in this part of the plan. He knew that he was supposed to come and talk to Y/N, but he didnt know that his baby sister had made some tweaks to her own liking. He suddenly felt shy, the earlier awkwardness making its way back into the air.
“She’s the worst, I know,” Y/N said, trying to lighten the mood with a joke, “I am only kidding.”
“No, you’re right. She can be a little cruel sometimes,” Neteyam smiled, appreciating the effort.
“Ah, she’s alright,” Y/N chuckled.
“Yeah, she’s alright,” Neteyam chuckled too, shaking his head.
A brief silence settled, and Y/N found herself studying the mats they were weaving. The weight of their unspoken connection hung in the air, begging to be acknowledged.
“Actually, Kiri’s been great to me, especially recently, you know? With the whole situation,” Y/N confessed, letting her sincerity and gratitude show through.
“I’m glad,” he replied softly, then asked more carefully, “Well, how are you dealing with the whole situation?”
“I don’t know anymore,” she shook her hand, a little distant now, as if she tried to treat it like an old memory, “He betrayed my trust and that shattered me. I loved him but I don’t think I can ever see him that way.”
Neteyam gulped, feeling the anger creeping up his neck again. He could never understand the way Y/N felt but he still couldn’t contain his resentment towards Kaye.
“But I… we don’t really have a choice, and it’s like I can change anything now, right? It’s too late.”
She let out a bitter chuckle but her gaze betrayed defeat that Neteyam didn’t miss. He felt courageous at her vulnerability, and reached out, resting his palm over her thigh. The gesture wasn’t meant to be romantic or sensual, just supportive.
“What do you say tomorrow we go for a walk instead of staying here?” he forced a small smile, his voice more upbeat, “That way the whole tent doesn’t have to abandon their tasks to give us privacy.”
“Tomorrow?” she quirked an eyebrow at him.
“Oh, haven’t I mentioned?” Neteyam played along with a smirk, “I’m making it a priority to see you every day from now on.”
A promise was spoken, and in the quiet of the healing tent, a foundation for friendship had begun to settle. The mats that they were weaving became a symbol of a connection.

New Rumor About the New Avatar show
So, apparently both of the twins will be the Avatar. Both of them will bend the four elements and both can use the Avatar State
We don't know if they're both connected to Raava/Korra or if one of them it's connected to Vaatu.
What did I think?
Bryke is about to turn the lore into a mess. There's no logical explanation on why Vaatu would be back and strong that fast after being destroyed and as Raava said herself in The Beginnings, that one cannot exist without the other, that even if she destroyed Vaatu, darkness will grow inside her until he emerges again. Okay, but this is implied to happen in 10.000y, so unless they are thinking of making Korra live that long...the idea of having Vaatu back already, is basically retcon.
And again, guess who will suffer the hate once again? Korra, and possibly this new Avatar too since she also is dark skinned.
Bryke is too oblivious to how toxic and incel Avatar fandom has become over the years. Also, not to be that friend that is too woke but goddamn stop using dark skinned girls as the escape goats of the Avatarverse
Also, Raava split into two different people? How is that gonna work? Two spirits of light? Wtf? It's a cool concept but it's so messy, another retcon bc if this is true, all we know about Raava is about to go down
