A Krux x Vex AU

@shock-tastic Drew Vex the Weasel and Krux the Fox AGAIN THEY ARE SO ADORABLE THANK YOU

Guess we've both changed huh little Brother? You married happily me now settled happily into the Never Realm with the Formling's with a partner of my own.

I have started a sketch of what Krux looks like in human form after several years in the Never Realm with the Formlings. Then Shock-tastic sketched their animal forms

In this AU and major deviation from Canon Krux meets Vex after the Iron Doom crashes having spun out of control when the blade was removed and thus landed in the Never Realm.

Acronix left Krux absolutely fed up and done with his twin brother he had been yanked from Cyrus Acronix found the travellers tree and returned to Cyrus in Ninjago, but in this moment Krux realized his mistakes he had shoved his last family member and his own brother away.

Along the way Krux meets Vex.

After deep soul searching and healing that took years they decided to rejoin Vexes Tribe The Formlings,

Vex finally having gotten rid of the hatred fixes the Formless thing with Krux beside him, Krux is an Artic Fox and then Vex is a Weasel because no matter how much soul searching he does his natural personality is still slippery and mischievous but no longer in a I'm going to be vengeful sort of way.

Krux is intelligent sly and cunning like an Artic Fox.

the deadlines for books 2 and 3, which had seemed like ludicrous far-off nevertimes, are suddenly VERY REAL

occasional bouts of paralysing anxiety about what I put on twitter, alternating with guilt that I barely use instagram and looked at tiktok once before running away

I have had a series of carefully-navigated conversations with my LOVELY and WELL-MEANING coworkers at both of my dayjobs, in which they tell me all about their intent to buy the book to support me and visions of all the sex scenes flash luridly behind my eyelids, and then I remember that plausible deniablity exists and there's no fucking way they'll ever bring it up first, and a sale is a sale, and I thank them courteously for their support

but mostly, and truthfully, it's been amazing. I feel incredibly lucky.

From his website: “I was born in Wichita, Kansas, but really you could say I was born in pop culture America.  I’ve been interested in science fiction all my life and studied under James Gunn at the University of Kansas.  I published a science fiction short story “Pliny’s Commentaries” in the hardback anthology UNIVERSE 17 in the late eighties while I was a teaching assistant there.

“After getting my PhD. I spent a year as an adjunct assistant professor at Iowa State University, where I met the love of my life Bonnie Irwin.  We married and moved to Illinois, where I continued writing novels no one wanted to publish.

“I perfected a process of writing novels quickly but gave up writing on 9/11 and didn’t write again for thirteen years.  I taught at Eastern Illinois University until July 2014 when I moved to California to teach at California State University, Monterey Bay and started writing novels everyone wants to read.” Read more here.

Spike's relationship with Drusilla has been on the rocks since the Acathala debacle and the morsel in the crate is her double-edged gift to him: a chance to make things right, and a chance to be really bad. Kill the girl and make it hurt. But for some reason he. just. can't. Instead, he tosses the niblet into the trunk of his Desoto and hits the road, leaving his one hundred year relationship in tatters, and grinding his reputation into the dust. Buckle your seat belts nice and tight. We're in for a bumpy ride.
