I've written you thousands of letters. Thousands. Four thousand, five hundred and twenty three, including this one, to be exact. I remember each one of them, and yet none of them say anything new. Not for me. There is no new information in them, no sudden clarity. Not a single one of them contains a revelation or solution. They repeat and repeat and repeat all that you already know.

I miss you.

I loved you. 

I love you still.

And I can't ever get back to you.

If I did, who is to say where I would end up? Time has ever been a fickle thing and I have never been its master. It has allowed me, at times, to glimpse into its infinite nature, to steal a few seconds of sand from the endless beaches that are its kingdom, but I do not control it. 

I am its guest, not its God.

I think about stepping backwards only to find that you are already gone. What if I stepped back too far and you are not even born yet? What if, in the act of stepping back, the fabric of our story changes? 

What if this time you are the monster and you no longer see in me what you once did?

I try not to dwell on these things, I do. I try to acquaint myself with new forests and streams, new people and places and languages and histories. But this is not my home, these are not my woods. The voices that speak are never yours.

I promise I do not dwell on these thoughts for long. I have found people I care for here, and protect and guide to the best of my ability. I have tried to assemble some sort of life for myself. But there are days when I simply cannot stop myself from thinking about you. From tempting myself to just try. To see if there is a path back to you, even for a short while.

I hope that wherever you are at in time, you are safe. I hope that you are dancing and laughing - it is always the way I picture you when I glance back. 

I loved you. I love you still. 

I always will.

I need a sweet love Brown Sugar Boba

Damn girl you really really had me in a chokehold for a year. You was staring at me got my attention for sure and we never spoke. I’ll never forget that night. I was catching up with my friend and you were just staring. I wasn’t thinking about dating at the time but the longer you stared into my eyes I started to. Interesting night. We didn’t speak. 

I went home and write the first verse to brown sugar boba and a few days later wrote the second verse then recorded it the next month. I was excited after it was done I’m like I’m gone give her some flowers this song you know make a grand gesture. Then what seemed like after a few subs in my direction you was off the market. And that just didn’t even seem right in America. lol I was so sick to my stomach about it. Because who does that?!? 

Fast forward. The alumni event. I’m like this has to be why you hate me. But it’s unfair. I remember being excited to go to the alumni mixer because I never go to things like that. I remember it was raining outside I had a huge umbrella. I was on the phone talking a friend off a ledge and trying to figure where imma sit or stand. I remember walking through there and thought somebody was calling my name. I looked around and didn’t see anybody. Took some more steps and I’m like somebody is calling me but whoooo? I’m looking and looking and I only seen some older ladies but they didn’t appear to be talking to me they were just smiling. I assumed I was for sure hearing things. I go get my beer continue on with the night. Getting on the elevator going home. I’m in there with some new associates and I see you. Beautiful. Talking to someone else. I said hi to you and you gave me the side eye and kept talking. Okay fair you think I ignored you but I didn’t see you until then. I said I was going to wait to talk to you but i was trying to network with alumni from my department. And when i got his contact information I came running back to see if i could find you but you were gone. I regret that night. I wish I would’ve saw you. I beat myself up about that a lot. I’m sorry.

I wrote you a lot of songs obviously brown sugar boba but obviously a lot more. I finally decided to be a little more forward and send you something direct and you left me on read. Of course I tried again and asked you out but still nothing. I feel like any more actions taken from my part will be a disservice to myself.

I am doing my best to stop thinking about you. But to see you and you still don’t speak bites. I take it as you don’t like me, my song sucks and you don’t like girls. lol that’s what’s the silence feels like to me. Personal, but I probably shouldn’t take it so deep, but I'm feeling all the bad feels. All bad but i spent a lot of time hoping with nothing in return. I finally feel sad myself wanting to write you another song. And I’m happy to have made it to this point. I deserve more. And I’ve been waiting for something or to get to this point. Either fine I just didn’t want to continue writing you songs. I’m not sure what that’s doing for me. 

Still open, no love lost, just moving forward.

Protecting Family

Hmmm

I'm on a Danny is Dick's child kick rn so I'm making more.

But lets add in some Ghost King Danny!, Dad to a deaged Ellie and Dan! And toddler Mar'i Grayson.

Danny was conceived during Dick's amnesia year when he was Ric and the woman couldn't find him to tell him (or maybe the Owls caught wind of the pregnancy and took her) and he ended up somehow (hmmm maybe a meddling time keeper?) with the Fentons.

Danny grows as a Fenton, he knows he was adopted btw, then becomes Phantom, protects Amity, becomes the Ghost King and things seem to be going okay between Amity Parkers and the Infinite Realms since they took care of the GIW problem, AND has been a good doting teen dad to his deaged 'cousins/clones' turned kids.

Danny was going to go pick his kids up from daycare one day when CHAOS happens. Just as he wrangles Ellie onto his shoulders, cause she wants to be tall today, and about to take Dan's hand cause he's and I quote "A big boy and not a baby like Ellie, Dad!" he suddenly feels the tug of his family being in danger.

Thing is, its a blood related danger. Meaning someone blood related to him was in grave danger, and by the emotions he can feel, its someone young, way younger than him.

Problem.

The only people Danny knows with his blood in their veins and are young enough for the feeling are with him.

So who?

But due to Danny being a protector spirit AND knowing the feeling is from someone as young as his own kids, Danny decides to use his Ghost King Powers to summon said person from the danger to him.

Danny opens his free arms out just as a tiny toddler with black hair like his own but with bright green eyes, even the sclera were green, in a ruined party dress drops from the sky from the summoning circle that had opened above him.

Danny stares at the terrified child, whose hands are tied by rope and was crying, and takes notes of certain traits she had that he saw every time in the mirror or on his own kids, same eye shape and cheekbones. He can tell his ghost core has claimed her as family but not as his kid though.

No the connection that formed was almost like his connection with Jazz but a bit stronger.

This kid, was his sister. His blood related one.

-Meanwhile-

Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing, and his family were freaking the fuck out.

Dick was already panicked when his daughter Mar'i had gotten kidnapped just a few hours ago by the Joker.

Now he was feeling pure dread when his daughter, who was about to be killed, was suddenly pulled into a strange glowing circle at the last minute and disappeared into thin air.

i will never understand how people have the heart to hate Jason even after they found out that his Ambrosia tastes like fucking sawdust. Ambrosia being tasty is like one single happy thing a demigod can have despite their tragic lives, because it reminds them of the home they once had, but lost. And Jason doesn't even have that, he doesn't even have a home to lose in the first place.

y'know, the different factions of spn fandom on tumblr do fundamentally and vehemently disagree with each other about a lot of things, and many of the factions actively hate one another, but i just want to say for the record that i appreciate the fact that this site is not overrun with painfully hetero facebook fans. i just saw someone over there saying with their whole chest that they fully expected the finale to have dean meeting jo harvelle in heaven and them getting afterlife married, and someone else angrily responded that this was obviously never going to happen because clearly dean was still in love with lisa braeden who would therefore be his finale bride (i guess this person expected her to die in the finale somehow?), and then someone ELSE responded that they wouldn't want to see either of those things happen because they like to pretend dean is their boyfriend and it would feel like cheating(!!!!) if he ended up with one of them and they'd never be able to fantasize about him anymore. and all of these comments had over a dozen people agreeing with them.

The Fentonworks Mega-Lab.

So! AU where the Fentonworks Labs actually stretch Miles upon Miles below the City of Amity Park.

It started when the Fentons wanted to add a simple addition to the original Lab when they ran out of space to store their more dangerous weapons. They didn't want their (at the time) young children getting their hands on their experimental Weaponry, it could blow up in their faces!

So they built a different Wing of the Lab to hold all those Inventions.

Then they ran out of space and added a few extra Storage Rooms. But then they decided it was a hassle to have to carefully transport their Dangerous Inventions all the way to the Storage Rooms, and built a Lab specifically for Dangerous Experiments near that same Section. Then that Lab was occupied for a while, and Jack wanted to start a different experiment as well, so they built a few more.

In the end they just never stopped building onto their Labs.

There are sections of the Mega-Lab that are entirely walled off because a few of their more unstable Experiments contaminated the area. Walking into them was not recommended, else you could walk out with an extra eye or 5.

In other sections, their Captured Ghosts had taken over a few Labs and created a sort of Mad Max style civilization using their discarded weapons and vehicles.

In another, all Ghosts became Humans and all Humans became Ghosts. That was a weird one, to this day they still didn't understand how they pulled that off.

In another, some type of Eldritch Time Ghost had been born, and now sort of always existed and never existed, and began experimenting with its powers. They nicknamed it Clocky because it liked to carry around a stopwatch.

And so many more. At one point a failed Portal Experiment messed with the internal Space of the entire thing. Now there was literally no way of Mapping it. The Fentons still somehow managed to navigate it perfectly.

When Jazz and Danny grew up, they too learned how to navigate the Labs, which is how Danny managed to show his friends the Portal Experimentation Wing in the first place.

Unfortunately, it wasn't safe for anyone aside from the Fentons to enter the Mega-Labs, so one day when the Fenton Family+friends left town on a Week Long Camping/Road Trip, they put up a few Ghost Shields to keep both Humans out and the Ghosts in.

This drew some unwanted attention after some tourists saw the giant Glowng Green Building in the middle of an Illinois Town, and rightfully called the Justice League.

Now, the Justice League had tried to call the owners of the house, but nobody picked up the phone. (An incident with Jack and a Canoe had knocked most of their phones into the lake. They weren't even at the lake yet.)

When nobody picked up, they decided to investigate personally.

After getting into the House, they quickly found a door labeled "Labs: Do Not Enter (unless it we are late for Dinner)" and went into ignoring all the warnings.

They quickly regretted it.
