This is helpful because it’s helping me understand what I want to do - and also making space for The Thing I Want To Do to be anything. Especially for those things to be small projects and/or projects I won’t get paid for.

kind reminder once again that rsd is not real and neither is this, it’s a term invented by one man, and attitudemag’s editorial process is famously lax. they never cite sources, all links in the article refer to pages on their own website. rsd is actually a trauma response, all symptoms mentioned by attitudemag lists are explained by c-ptsd. please look into criticism of adhd terms and info rather than accepting everything as facts. that’s how you get everyone thinking being sensitive to rejection is your brain being bad, rather than a completely normal response to the trauma of being rejected for your neurodiversity all your life. I know, finding rsd feels like a relief because it means it’s /not just you/ but that doesn’t mean it’s a separate disorder or diagnosis, it’s part of the reality of being ND (and once again, pls have a look at neuroemergent insurgent’s insta, she breaks this stuff down in a way that’s easy to understand)
