Greg Tribbett

Gregory Arnold Tribbett Jr. (born November 7, 1968) is an American guitarist who is one of the founding members, lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the metal band Mudvayne.[1] He is also the former lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the metal bands Audiotopsy and Hellyeah.[2][3] He's been with Mudvayne from their inception in 1996 until their dissolution in 2010, and again from 2021 to now.[4] He has named Randy Rhoads as the guitarist who most influenced him.[5] Greg has 3 brothers; Derrick "Tripp" Tribbett, who previously played bass for Dope, and sang for Makeshift Romeo and Twisted Method,[6] The Late Dustin "Diggz" Tribbett, once the bass player for Element, and Dead End Asylum, is now an independent musician and writer, and also Matt Tribbett, who was a drum technician for the American metal band Slipknot.

so i've told you about in stars and time i think well guess what i have disability headcanons for those guys :D

there's the main crew (sif, bonnie, odile, mira, and isa) and i have thoughts about all of them mostly mobility / disability aid thoughts rather than specific disabilities bc i drew them a while back

there's also loop and i feel weird (/neu) about them for system reasons but i might have thoughts about them too by the time i'm done with this!

sif: sif is canonically disabled already (he wears an eye patch) which is super cool and awesome! because sif = me and me = wheelchair user, sif is also a wheelchair user yep. they are very small so they def have a custom chair that fits him which he was able to get easily because i said so. sif has ptsd (canon). also sif is a system

bonnie: bonnie is autistic and nonverbal and they use a magical aac device which is the same as a normal one except it's isat so it's magical. they also wear the construction worker soundproof ear protector things

odile: odile is blind maybe low vision she uses a white cane and she is my bestie (odile <333)

mira: mira has a forearm crutch not sure if she uses it all the time but maybe. she is not above whacking people with it >:)

isa: isa has a prosthetic arm and he def doesn't wear it all the time. he worries that at some point sif will want a hug and he will give them a hug but it won't be as good without the prosthetic arm but sif does not think this. they communicate about it because they love each other. platonically. the arm is metal btw and his earrings are exactly the same color

loop: loop is also a system. this has nothing to do with sif being a system (lie lie lie). i've seen a loop schizophrenic headcanon i think and i vibe with that too <- is schizophrenic

Analyzing the Mouthwashing Cast by Their Assumed Preferences in Prog Rock

Swansea: Your average senior prog rocker. It's not his absolute favorite genre, but he enjoys a good amount of the classic 70's bands (and occasional obscure curve balls like Crack the Sky and Klaatu) without much interest for where the genre went afterwards. As long as the instrumentation and singing don’t sound "too goddamn weird" for his tastes he'd be willing to give any classic-sounding prog band a shot. Would certainly get into a LONG conversation about his feelings on Dark Side of the Moon and Leftoverture if he's in a good enough mood... or when he gets drunk enough.

Daisuke: Out of the whole crew, he's actually the most well-versed in the genre; from the 70’s and beyond. A combo of him inheriting his parents' CD's and also utilizing online music forums to take him down all sorts of prog and jazz fusion rabbit holes to find good job hunting music that certainly won't distract him at all! Generally prefers listening to individual songs rather than full albums since sometimes he just doesn’t have the patience to listen to multiple long songs back-to-back, but he certainly has a good variety of proggy songs under his belt. Definitely the only one who's ever graced the Tulpar knowing who Kenso or Liquid Tension Experiment are.

Him and Swansea's shared love of Yes is one of the very few music overlaps the two share, and his gushing about how awesome they are are some of the only times he’s able to break the ice around his boss and have a genuinely good-natured conversation with him.

Anya: To immediately assume that she wouldn't know a single thing about progressive rock would be a highly reductive line of thinking. Sure if asked about her favorite prog album she’d probably just say Hounds of Love, but that alone would not be enough to fully analyze the depths of her very specific tastes in the genre. In her pursuit of picking albums solely for the sake of their “vibes” she has ended up gaining a love for artists like Art Bears, Neu!, FM, and National Health (the latter she thought would be great to listen to while studying for her nursing exams). She has songs from Robert Wyatt’s Rock Bottom abruptly stationed between electronic ambient and pop songs on her mixtapes, her favorite Peter Gabriel album is Up, and she would be surprised to learn that Sally Oldfield’s brother also made a few of his own albums.

Suffice to say, if she ever tried to seriously focus on expanding her prog horizons the results would be GLORIOUS!

Curly: Unfortunately, the captain is this ship is the saddest case when it comes to knowing any prog rock. It's honestly quite tragic. He truly thinks that any 8-9 minute track is "pretty long" for a song and would be baffled to learn that Genesis wasn't always just an 80's pop rock band. The only Pink Floyd album he has ever listened to in-full is A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and his favorite song on it is "Learning to Fly." While his willingness to learn more about the genre prevents him from being a total lost cause, the captain still has a LONG way to go before he can even reach noob status.

Jimmy: There are exactly two paths that he could take on this subject...

The first (and most merciful) would be that he's just as lacking in knowledge of the genre as Curly and only ever listens to the same five power metal bands he likes during his weight-lifting sessions.

The second path would be that he does have a fair enough knowledge of prog rock and is just about as insufferable as one would imagine. We’re talking the full-mile here: Flexing on how cool he is for all of the “deep” albums he listens to, telling the guys long, drawn-out about all the incredible trips he’s had while listening to them in his “man cave” back on Earth (while failing to mention how smoking weed actually makes him paranoid instead of relaxed), quoting Frank Zappa lyrics to Anya then immediately quipping about how she just "wouldn't get" them, relating very closely to Pink from The Wall without the smallest speck of self-reflection as to why that might be. All that kind of bullshit. Fucking PRAY he never discovers Zeuhl music.

Art dump III come visualize my scarabs

Introducing my universes via the Orange Ones because it mostly revolves around them anyway!! Boo— i hate this one. Actual true yapfest so i’m going to cut this right here.

This is KTWIN-Original and KTWIN-New. It is the start of an entirely different set of universes, where the whole idea of “multiverse interference and interaction” reached Nowhere. The name comes from the twins in these universes having K’s in their names instead of C— which isn’t very important other than for AU distinction— but that IS what they were named at birth. Below is a variety of art showcasing Klaus' design and character. His hair USED to be a dull, pinky orange, but after being reconstructed— where K-N began— it’s now a vibrant orange. Believe it or not, Klaus was the first ever “Claus” I ever built upon— NEU 0, A and B Came earlier this year.

Klaus is often seen on his own doing whatever an aimless kid would be, or studying his own physical being. He’s very attached and protective of Lukas despite him being independant. Lukas doesn’t really mind because of a lot of things— but mostly it’s his understanding that Klaus isn’t ever going to heal in a healthy way so he’s going along with it. While that may sound awful, Lukas is very knowledgeable on how to put that robot kid in his place. They’re still very close after everything, it’s just a bit rocky when Klaus stirs up spite-induced trouble. They sure are a… dynamic duo!

K-0 and K-N. While I haven’t yet drawn a family chart for these two, I don’t know how I’d go about it anyway. That’s because the scarred up looking one is the original Klaus (K-0) before he actually dies . The metallic one is New Klaus (K-N), and is how he looks today— in real time, if not a solid year behind (because thats what time his universe runs on.) Poor guy is now bald! Everyone LAUGH.

Sketches and shittles. I rely on this universe to be extremely funny to me because genuinely this kid and his twin are very funny, they are subjected to my bullying and everyone else’s bullying. But they are also subjected to The Horrors™, mainly Klaus and his past self. I forget to mention Lukas can actually be so mean but its kinda just the “no more mr nice guy” trope but way funnier and more interesting. Also also, Lukas didn’t get the K in his name until waaaaay recently. Everything in this post is kinda outdated

Klaus — Body of a moving bullet train, soul of a 17 y/o that is permanently regressed to 13 or younger after being rehomed in the new vessel. Chatty, mischievous, but paired with dangerous and destructive mood swings.

11. Do you have any sort of ranking in your identity? Aspects of your identity that you consider more or less important than others, or terms you prefer over others.

We don't really have any rankings systems, just "priority" umbrellas (for visual context, there's this really known/recognizable image I keep seeing of the trans umbrella; the trans umbrella with underneath it binary [transman & -woman] and nonbinary umbrella [that holds labels like genderfluid, agender, demigenders, xenogender, etc].) In short we have Two main umbrellas for gender terms; trans & genderqueer. We also have several sub umbrellas under them.

Our trans umbrella (literally any trans-related and/or tangent words and experiences we have are under this, labels we are transitioning to or are transitioning labels that we identify with) contains sections named along the side of masc/fem/neu, man/woman, girl/boy/boygirl/girlboy, other tangent term related to girl/boy/woman/man that are slang terms (such as guy), androgynous, ambiguous, Neogender, etc and if they still have things under them then they double as their own smaller umbrellas. (These umbrellas can also contain xeno-, neo- and other gender terms that would be listed under genderqueer but due to having the trans prefix would not be considered to be under the genderqueer umbrella for us.)

Themed gender umbrellas are all under genderqueer. When we say themed, we mean Neogenders and xenogenders with x theme (ex. Ocean themed Neo- & xenogenders, canine themed Neo- & xenogenders, etc etc. We also have beneath those more specific sections say, canine themed Neo- & xenogenders with behavior, breed, occupation, etc etc category sections.). Then there's the unaligned terms, nonconforming terms, & specific-(""base""*)-label umbrellas such as agender related things, genderfluid terms/fragments related things, demigenders, nonbinary-specific related things (the galactic & metal alignments we might identify with.) etc terms.

*when we say base label, we mean the common labels that are vastly more known than specific Neogender terms. Like we already did ramble on about, but labels like demigender, genderfluid, agender, nonbinary gender, etc.

Then there's other umbrella terms such as the presentation (also sectioned to fem/masc/neu/androgynous/ambiguous/etc sections and umbrellas if there's combinations.), Alterhumanity (sectioned to general identity terms, types, human or Alterhuman adjactents.), Misceverse (alterhuman adjactent, but it's it's own independent umbrella since it's such a large thing anyways with sections for dynamics, dynamic combos, scents, behavior, statuses, fluid terms, other misce labels which name we don't remember currently, etc.), Orientation (which boils down to gay, mspec, other (includes tertiary attraction, mspecs mono, unaligned, literal other terms that are tangent but cannot be categorized, and hetero terms), and aroacespec umbrella terms.)

So, we don't consider anything that much more important than the other when it comes to labels. We just have a category sorting where we sort them in umbrellas and categories. The more comfortable we are, the more you get to know about the categories under specific labels we use as umbrella terms. :) I hope that makes some sense dlkdkd

The cobblestone streets of Neu-Brückenstadt were slick with rain, the ancient town’s half-timbered buildings glistening under the pale light of Helios’ twin moons. The air was thick with the acrid scent of burning myomer and the distant rumble of artillery. The town, a relic of the Star League’s colonial ambitions, had become a battleground once more. The Jameson-loyalist ROM militia, fanatical and desperate, had dug in around the town’s central plaza, their salvaged ‘Mechs and infantry positions forming a ragged but determined defensive line.

At the edge of the town, Zerachiel stood like a colossus, their marble-and-gold ferro-fibrous skin gleaming faintly in the moonlight. Their fusion star heart hummed softly, a low, resonant thrum that seemed to vibrate through the very ground. Zerachiel’s voice, calm and measured, crackled over the comms. Their skin was scarred, melted, and pocked with the evidence of a fight that had gone on far too long for their liking.

Where is the Maneater when we need them? thought Zerachiel. With them - with the one of them who yet lives - we could end all of this, and quickly...

Their train of thought was disrupted as a heavy machine gun position sprayed it's metal barbs in their direction - ineffective at this distance, but enough to get Zerachiel's attention. They replied with the plasma rifle buried in their chest, and another of the town's historic buildings went up in flames.

Damn you, Hershel... damn you to Hell. I will see you hang for this.

“Greta, take the eastern flank. Rusty, the western. We end this quickly. For Blake’s true vision.”

“Understood. Moving to engage.”

“On it, buddy. Let’s show these zealots what happens when they cross the line.”

Zerachiel stepped forward, their heavy footfalls shaking the ground. The red glow of their sensor clusters cast an eerie light on the rain-slick cobblestones. The ROM militia opened fire, their machine guns and lasers streaking through the night. Zerachiel moved with a fluid grace, their every motion deliberate and precise.

A ROM Hunchback emerged from the shadows, heavily damaged, its AC/20 roaring as it unleashed a barrage of shells. Zerachiel sidestepped with unnatural speed, the shells tearing through the facade of a nearby building. Their plasma rifle fired, the superheated plasma engulfing the Hunchback's torso in a searing inferno. The enemy ‘Mech staggered, its armor melting under the intense heat, before collapsing in a heap of molten metal.

A few streets away, Greta moved like a liquid shadow through the narrow lanes, her Triple Strength Myomer-enhanced legs propelling her with a predator’s grace. Her arm-mounted sword gleamed in the moonlight, a deadly extension of her will. She leaped over a low wall, her movements so fluid it was impossible to tell where she ended and the rain began.

A ROM UrbanMech turned to face her, its autocannon spitting rounds. Under electronic assault from the ECM computers buried in Greta’s breast, the enemy’s targeting systems faltered under the onslaught. The sword in a wide arc, the blade slicing through the UrbanMech’s leg with surgical precision. The machine toppled, crashing into a nearby bakery in a shower of sparks and debris. “East flank secure. Moving to support Zerachiel.”

Rusty, meanwhile, was a blur of motion, the MASC and supercharger in his legs and torso pushing his ferrotitanium bones to their limits. He darted through the streets, his Ultra AC/5 barking as he picked off ROM infantry positions. A ROM Shadow Hawk tried to intercept him, but Rusty was already countering.

“Too slow, pal!”

He activated his Jump Jets, launching himself onto a rooftop. From there, he unleashed a barrage of missiles, the high-explosive warheads obliterating the Shadow Hawk’s armor. The enemy ‘Mech staggered, and Rusty finished it with a precise shot from his Ultra AC/5.

“West flank clear. Zerachiel, we’ve got the last ones surrounded.”

The ROM militia leader, which Zerachiel's uplink noted, after a query to the Central Records Administration building in Jeromopolis, named Viktor Reinhardt, stood in the center of the plaza, his Warhammer bristling with weapons. The ‘Mech’s PPCs crackled with energy as he turned to face Zerachiel.

“You think you can stop us, cyborg?” he snarled, voice full of hate and bigotry. “You’re a traitor to Blake’s true vision!”

“Blake’s vision is one of unity, not division. You’ve lost your way, Viktor,” said Zerachiel, flexing their taloned hand with an almost uninterested flare.

Goaded by the Precentor-General's taunt, the Warhammer fired its PPCs, the energy bolts streaking through the night. Zerachiel activated their shield, the vicious energy of the particle beams dissipating harmlessly against the shimmering barrier. With a swift motion, Zerachiel extended the retractable blade in their left arm, the weapon gleaming in the fading light.

“This ends now.”

Zerachiel surged forward, their movements a blur of speed and precision. Their blade struck the Warhammer’s right arm, severing it at the shoulder as they continued past. Viktor screamed in rage, his ‘Mech’s remaining weapons firing wildly. Zerachiel dodged with inhuman agility, the Plasma Rifle in their chest firing a searing blast that melted the armor and bones of the Warhammer’s left leg.

Viktor’s ‘Mech toppled, crashing to the ground in a shower of sparks. Zerachiel loomed over the fallen machine, their blade poised for the final strike.

“You’ll never win! ROM will never surrender!” Viktor screamed, as though he could push the metal god above him off with just his words.

There was no reply, save a dismissive electro-static scoff. With a swift, brutal motion, the gleaming marble-and-gold arm stabbed down, burying the blade into the Warhammer’s cockpit, piercing through the armor, the force of the impact sending a shockwave through the plaza. The Warhammer shuddered once, then lay still.

Slowly, the square fell silent, save for the crackling of fires and the distant hum of ‘Mech engines. Zerachiel stood tall, their marble-and-gold skin gleaming faintly in the moonlight. Greta and Rusty joined them, standing guard as the remaining militia surrendered.

“This is not the end,” Zerachiel spoke. “The Word of Blake must heal, not fracture further – we cannot fight the Star League while broken. Take the prisoners into custody. Treat them with dignity.”

“Understood, Precentor-General. What about the town?” Greta asked.

“Ensure the civilians are safe. Offer them whatever aid they need. This is their home, and we are their protectors.”

As the rain began to fall once more, Zerachiel’s sensors gazed out over Neu-Brückenstadt. The battle was won, but the war for Helios—and the soul of the Word of Blake—was far from over.
