'Doctor Who fans have reacted with delight and emotion as David Tennant departed the show once more - but is it for good?

The Giggle saw the Fourteenth Doctor face one of his oldest and most terrifying enemies, the Toymaker, originally played by Michael Gough and this time brought to life by Neil Patrick Harris.

With the world driven mad, the Toymaker also taunted the Doctor and Donna Noble (Catherine Tate), bombarding them with tricks and games.

In a shocking twist, the Fourteenth Doctor (Tennant) regenerated at the hands of the Toymaker but instead he 'bi-generated' and two Doctors were left - the Fourteenth and the new Fifteenth Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa).

Together, the two Doctors beat the Toymaker before having an emotional discussion of past losses with Donna and Mel Bush (Bonnie Langford).

Afterwards, the Fifteenth decided to go travelling in the TARDIS while the Fourteenth chose to stay behind with Donna and her family.

However, with the remainder of their power from defeating the Toymaker, the Fifteenth claimed their prize: a duplicate TARDIS.

As Fourteen and Fifteen said goodbye, we later saw the Fourteenth Doctor enjoying a meal with Donna, Mel, Rose Noble (Yasmin Finney), Shaun Temple (Karl Collins) and Sylvia Noble (Jacqueline King).

While the Fourteenth can still go on adventures - and likely will with an eager Rose - he plans to enjoy some downtime for now.

Now, fans have taken to social media to react to the highly emotional scenes which felt like some wonderful wish fulfillment.

One fan penned on X, formerly known as Twitter: "14th DOCTOR HAS A FAMILY! CALLING DONNA HIS SISTER AND BEST FRIEND! ROSE HIS NIECE! WILF HIS GRANDAD! SYLVIA HIS WICKED STEP MUM! SO EMOTIONAL #DoctorWho".

A different viewer wrote on X: "Imagine going back and telling those of us watching him wipe her memory in series 4 it would end like this. I am fragile #DoctorWho"

Elsewhere, on X, one fan was less impressed with the bi-generation twist, penning: "Already feel like bigeneration is something that’s never gonna sit right with me. #DoctorWho".

Finally, one Doctor Who viewer concluded on X: "14’s end was really beautiful. “I’ve never been so happy in my life.” I have some issues with bigeneration but I’m really glad to see a happy ending. #DoctorWho".

The episode marked the final instalment in the 60thN anniversary specials, which saw Tennant and Tate return together after 15 years...'

Fandom: The Good Doctor

Warnings: Suicide attempt, flashbacks/mentions of abuse, depression

Now I have actually have two different ideas for this one is a high school AU (and Neil/Marcus/Jessica are best friends)

It's a few months after Steve died and Shaun is trying to adjust to living with Dr. Glassman but he just can't. He can't deal with the sudden changes and people still think he's weird so he wanders to an abandoned bridge and nearly ends it all right there until someone's suddenly there and starts talking to him....like he's normal. Shaun meets Neil who shows him what it means to be accepted and loved

Now the second one occurs sometime during the show

Shaun can't do it anymore. He can't deal with all the hurt and rejection and judgement. They dont like him, he knows that. He knows they're only nice because they have to be. He goes back to "his bridge". The one that he goes to when he's upset and sits on the very edge of. It's calming and relaxing. Sometime he wonders what would happen if he jumps off. One night Neil sees him and realizes the pain his youngest resident is going through

The Perfect  First Day

Hey I’m so sorry this took so long to come out i’ve been busy with work and school College sucks ! Anyways i hope you enjoy it ! 

Looking at the fresh faces of the bright eyes interns Neil had taken notice of a rather looking boy who seemed different than the rest of them. He was looking not nervous but unsettled like he was wrapped up in his own head. Maybe Neil thought he was a tad bit cute too. He wasn’t sure what he was gay straight or bi. It didn’t matter anyways love was love to him. 

Neil took in a deep breath to calm his nerves. Why the hell was he so nervous he was just Neil Melendez for god’s sake. He looked up to see the bright eyes brown headed nervous looking boy walking over to him and the butterflies erupted in his stomach. 

“Hello I’m Shaun nice to meet you.” He said with his hand holding a fist and he didn’t even reach out to shake my hand he just sat there looking around. Other people might have thought he was being mean but Neil didn’t he thought maybe he was just shy and for some reason it made him smile like the kind where he shows some teeth and he had that crooked lip thing going on. 

“Hi Shaun nice to meet you I’m Dr Melendez.” I said reaching out my hand and when shaun didn’t reciprocate i put it down in a quick swift motion. I wasn’t mad I was hurt and it was hard because I really didn’t understand it or why. 

I snapped out of my thoughts rather quickly when a guy and a girl walked over to me and introduced themselves to me. 

“Hi I’m DR Browne But you can call me Claire.” She said very chirpy and with a smile on her face. Now looking at her she was definitely my type young and pretty and the way she was looking at me, I'm guessing I was just her type to. 

Next was Dr Kalu or Jared as he said. He was tall, dark and handsome a very nice looking at man and i couldn’t help but give him a second look at. 

The rest of the first day went by pretty fast and even though i would never admit it out loud they were all super smart and actually good. My mind wasn’t up to par though and I couldn't help but think about Shaun. 

We later learned that he had Autism and that he wasn’t just being shy. It was weird it was like it was what made him him and what I liked was that he didn’t let it define him. It was just who he was and I liked that part about him. God what am i twelve gushing over a crush. 

The rest of the day i tried my best to ignore him  and to the outside person it was just me being my normal cocky self. 

It was a little difficult to concentrate because Claire was obviously flirting with me the whole day and i flirted back a little to just make these feelings towards Shaun go away. 

The whole day seemed to drag on and it was never ending it was like i was back in high school and not because of the crush but because of the drama i just had to find a way to keep pushing through. 

I was currently sitting in my office eating breakfast/lunch/dinner all in one. One of the many perks of being a doctor. I then heard a knock on my door and in walked Shaun. Right then and there it felt like the whole zoo was going crazy in my stomach. 

I cleared  my throat really quick to hide the nerves I was currently experiencing. 

“Murphy what can i help you.” I said sitting up my chest and not even notice I was doing it until it was too late was puffing my chest out.

He walked over to me very shy and just blurted out 

“I have a crush on you.” He said not looking at me. 

I knew it was wrong that he was my intern but dammit i’m tired of playing by the rules. I need to take a chance. 

“Well thanks for letting me know and actually i kinda feel the same, Let’s go grab some coffee and talk about this.” I said getting up from my chair. 

“Okay.” He said walking out the door to the cafeteria not even waiting for me which i wasn’t mad about because it gave me the opportunity to think about what I was going to say. 

All i knew what i was for sure was going to say was this is the perfect first day. I wouldn’t have wanted any other way.
