I have binge watched like five different videos on the Tricou family of the Sims 2. I love the mystery behind them!! I drew the two Tricou grandchildren, Rainelle, and Cassandra Goth is here too because why not. Image descriptions are in the alt text.

Uberhood (106) - Goodie

Sadly Herbert Goodie's time was up. 😕 (A lot of death this round, wow.)

R.I.P. Herbert Goodie.

Faith Goodie had the desire to go get a makeover and is glad she's not alone during these challenging times. Her best friend, Mary Gavigan, visits her regularly to check in on her.

While visiting the clothing store, to give the said makeover to Faith, I noticed that Rainelle Neengia is going through a rough time as well. Not only did she get robbed by the unsavory charlatan, no, he also felt the need to knock her head against the wall. WHY

Added the Tricous (and Rainelle since she came with the subhood that had the alive Tricous). Here’s my makeovers of the Tricou women and Rainelle. Had to give Jennicor the tiddies dress because yes.

Speaking of Rainelle, she had memories of having an affair with Kiernan so I took it one step further and poof. Vera Neengia was born. Rainelle’s currently a struggling model, living in a shitty house and is a single mother.

Nylissit and Gvaudoin hate her guts. So you know, fun. Tbf, they hate Kiernan too lol. Most of the Tricou family does actually 🫣

And then a quick peek @ Jon’s family tree because phew. Many children.

Side note: I won’t go back to posting gameplay pictures like I did before. I found it contributed to my burn out of the game. So I’ll just be posting random pictures whenever I feel like or whenever something interesting or stupid happens. I’m doing much better mentally, setting up and playing what I have so far in this save has been a great distraction.

I wanted to show whatever other pictures I took (not a lot, this save is literally fresh) but Tumblr mobile has a 10 pic limit so 🙃 no more pictures for you or me on this post.

VeronaHills, Round Eleven: Tricou (City)

The last piece of polished glassware was set aside. Rainelle took in a breath and surveyed the tidied basement before her.

Well, the mere description of a basement certainly did no justice. Where the layman would have boxes of forgotten miscellania dressed in cobwebs, this was a haven of bookshelves with golden spines and rosewood wine racks (vintage - fine). It was a place that most would never have the chance to descend into, but Rainelle returned regularly to refine it for its intended use. The lady of the house would be most pleased to find everything where it was when she woke again; with the exception of the natural hot spring that had begun to burst through the floor over the years. Rainelle's grandmother had struggled to find a solution to this and decided to let it be, as a new feature for the family to enjoy.

A telltale creak shot around the cavern walls. Rainelle stared at the very top of the upper staircase. Another level up from a layman's basement: this one had a secret entrance via the sitting room's bookcase. Supposedly.

Oh shit. Did I leave the book out too obviously? Rainelle was cursing herself. Had she been careless? There was a visible figure now, hunched over, sinking into each stair at an agonisingly slow pace. They don't know I'm here. Relief - Rainelle reasoned the intruder must have pulled every book from the shelf to get here.

They were getting further down but Rainelle didn't hide. She didn't need to. She could hear the stirring of bats from the darkest corners of the cavern; the family had sensed a change. Then there was Mooticia, of course, placed to face the bottom stairway, usually greeting Rainelle with a content moo and a rustle of leaves. She was now emitting a deeper growl and flexing her viney 'body', indicating she was ready for the unexpected.

The man, in his pink shirt and gloves and the lightning bolt fade on his scalp, made an oafish first impression when he tumbled down the last flight of stairs. Rainelle clapped her hands together. "You've not been invited here," she said. "And you won't be coming back. Please take your leave."

"What the fuck? Nobody was supposed to be here! What is this fuckin' thing? Get it off me! Don't just stand there, I'm not gonna hurt ya, just - what the FU-"

Mooticia made the uncouth language come to an end with one great gulp. Rainelle had wished to be braver but she was on the floor, wide-eyed and jittery, her pumps scrabbling for purchase on the marble. The bovine's subsequent belch made her gag and distracted her from realising a second intruder had arrived. He was older, sharper, a not the least bit overwhelmed his surroundings, let alone the three-piece suit, cape and fedora that he wore.

"You - you've not been invited here, a-and-"

"I won't be coming back, yes yes, I've heard the speech before, girl." The man didn't look at her as he dismissed her, instead snatching the glass Rainelle had just polished and squeezing Mooticia's udders into it with the ease of filling up a water bottle from a tap. "You tell the lady of this house," he continued, his voice dripping with derision, "that she can't hide in that coffin forever." He nodded to the corner of the cavern, where Rainelle had just lit the lanterns around the closed casket. Then he sculled the liquid (the ghastly glow permeating through his body suited him), placed the sullied glass on the counter, and left without another word.

Rainelle thought her eyes would bulge from her head with the fright that inflated them so.

Rainelle Neengia has been given a second chance.

She's currently living with Chester Gieke, his wife Tina, and their baby boy, Cloud.

(Of course Chester named his son after a Final Fantasy character.)

Rainelle is a bit of a part-time nanny for them. And she's really good with Cloud. But will her presence bring misfortune to the family?
