Tentatively coming out of my hiatus (once again) with some random pictures from my very new Veronaville/Berrybury/Downtown save

Added the Tricous (and Rainelle since she came with the subhood that had the alive Tricous). Here’s my makeovers of the Tricou women and Rainelle. Had to give Jennicor the tiddies dress because yes.

Speaking of Rainelle, she had memories of having an affair with Kiernan so I took it one step further and poof. Vera Neengia was born. Rainelle’s currently a struggling model, living in a shitty house and is a single mother.

Nylissit and Gvaudoin hate her guts. So you know, fun. Tbf, they hate Kiernan too lol. Most of the Tricou family does actually 🫣

And then a quick peek @ Jon’s family tree because phew. Many children.

Side note: I won’t go back to posting gameplay pictures like I did before. I found it contributed to my burn out of the game. So I’ll just be posting random pictures whenever I feel like or whenever something interesting or stupid happens. I’m doing much better mentally, setting up and playing what I have so far in this save has been a great distraction.

I wanted to show whatever other pictures I took (not a lot, this save is literally fresh) but Tumblr mobile has a 10 pic limit so 🙃 no more pictures for you or me on this post.

Let's Play The Sims 2 | Downtown S01E17 | The Tricous 🦇

New Episode! Fricorith and Gvaudoin Tricou have just lost their entire family in a tragic fire. Their godfather, Mr Big, and his young wife Rainelle Neengia have moved in to look after them and their old, mystery-riddled house.

A few notes:

This is specifically formatted for a computer. You will need a mouse for parts of it! I tried looking at it on my phone, and it was garbage. I apologize to mobile users, but that just wasn't a priority.

This popped into my head unexpectedly, and I had to slap it together in less than a week, so I apologize if it sucks. Due to the time constraint, I didn't have as much time to do my customary 7000 rewrites, I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted, and the writing itself is a little... well, hopefully you'll forgive me someday.

THE EGG HUNT

The Egg Hunt portion uses image maps, which I've heard can be a little wonky. I will make an image map-free version (today even!), but for right now, fingers crossed that it works.

In order to participate in the "Egg Hunt," you'll need to run your mouse over the image until a little "?" appears by the cursor. Not all eggs are visible! And not everything you find is an egg! There are clues hidden in a couple of locations that are connected to the main story line, so I hope you find them!

I worry that even with the clues, though, that the story might be a little obscure, so feel free to ask for any clarification you need.

THE CHILDREN

You can "play" as Angela, Lilith, Dirk, Dustin, Gvaudoin or Fricorith. I did recycle a lot of text, but I tried to give each character their fair share of unique text, as well.

after escaping the grand vampire council in downtown sim city, the tricou kids open a bar in deadtree, strangetown, which is about as far as they can get without making the long trip through the empty desert to oasis springs.

this is a lot by @pixelatedollhouse edited just a bit to make it fully vampire themed, make the public area of the basement a little more classy bc i feel like gvaudoin wouldn't tolerate anything less, and of course to add their little basement apartment.

the kitchen is mostly decorative since gvaudoin doesn't eat and fricorith usually eats takeout. gvaudoin's little coffin room is only accessible through the walkin closet in fricorith's bedroom.

they spend most of their time upstairs so they don't have a lot of stuff (also i am bad at cluttering lol)
