Tentatively coming out of my hiatus (once again) with some random pictures from my very new Veronaville/Berrybury/Downtown save

Added the Tricous (and Rainelle since she came with the subhood that had the alive Tricous). Here’s my makeovers of the Tricou women and Rainelle. Had to give Jennicor the tiddies dress because yes.

Speaking of Rainelle, she had memories of having an affair with Kiernan so I took it one step further and poof. Vera Neengia was born. Rainelle’s currently a struggling model, living in a shitty house and is a single mother.

Nylissit and Gvaudoin hate her guts. So you know, fun. Tbf, they hate Kiernan too lol. Most of the Tricou family does actually 🫣

And then a quick peek @ Jon’s family tree because phew. Many children.

Side note: I won’t go back to posting gameplay pictures like I did before. I found it contributed to my burn out of the game. So I’ll just be posting random pictures whenever I feel like or whenever something interesting or stupid happens. I’m doing much better mentally, setting up and playing what I have so far in this save has been a great distraction.

The Tricou family moving to Pleasantview! That's right - they're resurrected and in a renovated House of Fallen Trees. With their lifetime wants, aspiration benefits and traits revealed, it’s time to get to know them all over again.

My Tricou makeover ! Naturally, they're all vampires.

The amount of fights this family goes through in so little time, I've never played them so I never knew. It's a struggle and I'm not sure how others take it-but I'm headcanoning-> Jennicor and Gvaudoin are currently undergoing a power struggle as Gvaudoin wants to become the leader of their coven. This is why the whole family is against her at this point, Jennicor has more power and there's no chance of Gvaudoin becoming the head of house... unless she has devious plans to change that.

Meanwhile, Jennail is independently seeking power. She chosen to become the proprietor of 'Crypt O Night' and had to take a $50.000 loan from Bank of Sim City. So far she's made about $100 back on her investment and that is with her father as a DJ and her son as a bartender... so, ya... BUT once the place is popping she knows it will be the right place to meet unsuspecting victims and ensure a constant flow of plasma income.

On another side, Nylissit and Kiernan are doomed by the fact they just aren't attracted to each other... Unfortunately for sweet Nylissit, Kiernan's eye wanders so she may find out just how much worse their marriage will become.

I know people have been missing these and have been downloading them from my old LJ account, and I don't think this version of Downtown even exists there. So here's some (re)uploads for you.

Clean Downtown WITH downtownies (but no NPCs) and still-dead Tricous and Rainelle with some memories and cleaned up genetics. Downtownies with broken face templates have been fixed. Tricou teens are properly set as related to Jon Smith Tricou:

me age 9 with my sim named Sallysa (combined names sally and alyssa) parked outside the Downtown bar for days on end pausing and zooming in on every single npc that walks by until one of jon smith tricou’s illegitimate children spawns in YES!!!! SHIFT CLICK ADD TO FAMILY. OH HERE WE FUCKING GO!!!

i still think about the tricou family often. and rainelle. the sims 2 was the best sims game and nothing is ever going to change that.

Lilith also showed up as soon as Alexander became a teen. I thought she'd want to make friends with him, but looks like they started off on the wrong foot.

She seems to get along with Cassandra, though! She's telling her all about her new brother and her disaster of a family (a topic Cassandra's already familiar with, being friends with Mary-Sue).

Uberhood Pics (57) - Tricou, Jennicor

Here are two pics from Jennicor Tricou's household. She just lost her husband, Jon Smith Tricou, and is very heartbroken about that. That's the reason her daughter Jennail decided to move in with her family to support her mother during this difficult time. Jennail and Kvornan had two more sons in the meantime and now the house is full of life again. Hopefully it's a little consolation for Jennicor. 🙏🏼

Here is my renovation of the House of Fallen Trees.

My vision was to create something that the original Tricou family made up of Jon Smith, Jennicor, Jennail and Nylissit lived in as family.

This home now includes the following:

Basement/Altar Floor 1: Foyer, Dining Room, Kitchen, Sitting Room, Gym, Laundry (not pictured) and Powder Room (not pictured) Floor 2: TV Room/Study/Kids Play Room, Master Bedroom including two Walk-In Wardrobes and Ensuite, Bedroom 2, Bedroom 3 and Bathroom Floor 3: Living Room, Guest Bedroom including Walk-In Wardrobe and Ensuite and Billiard Room

I also managed to fix the lighting issue that seemed to plague this lot. After some research, I was able to locate the following cheat: setLotLightingFile clear. The lighting now appears as normal.

I'm playing one week with each family and just finished my first rotation. I'm starting in Oasis Springs so I need three sims to max fishing to unlock a fishing spot, before I can have any other lot or households.

Jon Smith has almost maxed fishing and will probably be the the first one to max any skill. Since I only need one sim per household to max fishing, Jennicor's been focusing on violin for her aspiration. They had a baby during rotation one, a boy named Tiave. He's aged up to be a cautious infant.

Jennail is working on fishing for this household with her husband, Kvornan, focusing on painting. The two of them want to live in a mansion, and with Kvornan's creative trait, painting was a great money maker since no jobs are unlocked at the moment. Fricorith is focusing on thanatology, since I just got Life & Death and thought it was a good fit for him. They just had Patrick, who's aged up to be an intense infant.

For the last household, Kiernan and Gvaudoin have been focusing on fishing. Kiernan's made more progress since he hasn't had to go to school like his daughter. Nylissit's been focusing on gardening, but with the birth of Kestrel and Orion, she probably wont be maxing it out any time soon. Thankfully, the twins have easy to manage traits, with Kestrel being calm and Orion being cautious.

I want to have all the teen townies that can be found in Downtown in sims 2 to be born into this family since originally, they're all considered the children of Jon Smith Tricou. I have 4/6 so Jennail and Nylissit will have another kid. Since Jennicor and Jon Smith are adults with two fully grown children, I'm not going to have them try for another kid.
