Folkling Save File WIP - Willow Creek

So, over the past few days my inspiration to build has waived. I'd find inspiration, and lose it just as fast. No one knows this, but I started the Windbrook Save File with CC. It was a personal passion project at first, but I ultimately decided to share it with you all, so I removed the CC.

Enter the Folkling Save File.

While I plan on sharing this save file, I will be using CC. I'll be using the Blowtorch and TOOL mod to meticulously craft the world(s) to my liking. The Windbrook Save File just scratched the surface, the Folkling Save File will be the save file I've always wanted to build.

In the end, I want this save file to be a coming of age movie, the whole shabang.

took a hiatus from sims bc college is whooping my ass … haven’t touched my pc in months and i’m DREADING having to update my game bc i know it’s gonna be massively fucked up.

built a custom scene in render last night … and i throughly enjoyed it.

currently fixing some outfits in cas so i can put my sims in the mix. i’m also debating on if i actually wanna put time into making another sim, or just use a deco sim and call it a day 😭 might make one though, just bc it’s been a minute lol.

(does ANYONE know any tips for ripping and/or rendering sims with glasses?)

wanna get into rendering SAUR bad, but like … is the HQ mod 100% needed for that, or just recommended? i’m down to put it in my game, i just wanna see if there’s any real glaring difference in quality that it makes to renders. preferably with visual examples!

thinking abt how you could technically use ‘businesses and hobbies’ to play out active schools / uni courses …

also ik this has been discussed ad nauseam but uh … the name of the pack is very misleading. like my most scathing critique is that the whole pack is abt monetizing your sims’ hobbies. vs. actually giving them more HOBBIES. i personally do not care abt my sims having fifty-leven streams of income; i am notorious for cheating funds lmao.

also—no shade? being able to upload custom tattoos to the gallery sounds like something that can get reallll problematic real fast. ya’ll remember when mfs were making absurdly racist households on the gallery? depicting slaves and slave owners? yeah, idk. allowing people unlimited access to write / depict whatever they want on their sims bodies and then upload those things to the gallery, where there is absolutely no moderation…? sounds like a nightmare, imo.
