Hello, I have a question you mention that Papyrus not knowing anything is fanon and not canon. Im not saying your wrong but tbh i can't recal moments from the game that would prove that statment. But i also haven't play Undertale in a while and was wondering if you could give examples from the game.

Heheh, well, it's hard to say exactly what papyrus does know, but there are indeed hints he knows more than many people, especially early on in the fandom, realized. Like.... there were people who thought he doesn't know what death or murder is (and maybe there still are, though I shudder to think of it)... despite having multiple lines of dialogue that disprove this. Anyway! Evidence Papyrus knows more than he lets on include the following:

He refers to Mettaton having eyes in a call you can get well before the fight with Mettaton that reveals his EX form:

He references the game having multiple endings in True Pacifist:

As well as other game mechanics like repeating dialogue or the keyboard

his nerves here and his really specific denial of you witnessing his first conversation with undyne, which implies he is aware you were in fact there

and then of course there's this:

and plenty more that are more ambiguous, like hints about the amalgamates (be nice to people made of strange materials), trying to make a puzzle resemble his face (from a perspective he shouldn't be able to view?), or even possibly not knowing what happens when you get to the capital because well... a lot of things could happen when you get there. It's not as certain as any other monster might think.

Even if you don't really consider those last ones, Papyrus obviously hints at much of the same stuff about the game as his brother. It's just that they're almost all in his phone calls, which many people never do... So while it's maybe not canon that he has a vast amount of meta knowledge, it's definitely fanon that he's super naive to everything or just outright stupid. That's not true in the slightest.

Arisen: Crom

(I had to take all the screenshots in this post literally today cuz Xbox deleted all my old screenshots and I never saved them to my phone 💔)

Nickname(s): Probably Crumb. 😭

Age: I think 22-25 maybe. She's childhood friends with Quina and Valmiro, and personally I can't see them being any older than 25-ish.

Race: Human.

Gender: I wanna say she identifies as a woman but tbh gender doesn't really matter much to her. Like she doesn't think about it. She'd have no problems if someone referred to her as anything other than a woman or used pronouns other than she/her.

Orientation: Asexual/Aromantic (like me😋). I can't imagine her (or really any of my OCs lol) in a romantic relationship or having sex or anything.

Moral Alignment: I think Neutral Good.

Class: She started as a Fighter and later became a Warrior. She just wants to swing a big sword around.

Background: Literally just the intro in DD1 💀 She's childhood friends with Quina and Valmiro, though her and Quina are practically sisters as Crom was raised by Adaro most of her life after her parents died in a brine-related accident. She doesn't remember them much. She took becoming the Arisen pretty well actually, if you ignore the fact that some of her neighbors died 💀 She was stoked to see a real life dragon until it sunk in (idk how she can see when her eyes are closed 24/7 but y'know... it's a fantasy game, pretend 😭).

Interests/Hobbies: Fishing (ofc, she's Cassardi), she's always liked sword fighting (I can imagine her and Valmiro as kids enthusiastically whacking eachother with wooden swords until they both were all bruised up and Quina had to heal them while lovingly chewing them out), and crafting things. Like whittling or making necklaces and crowns out of flowers that Quina found (to her annoyance, she collected those for a tonic).

Language(s): Common. Is that what it's called in Gransys? Grasian? Granslish?

Height: Probably around 5'10. The tallest in the village. 😭

Colors: Blue, Red, and Brown. Those would be her fave if you pretend that she can see...

Fruits: Idk.. I don't think she can choose either. She probably has a new favorite every other day.

Alchoholic Beverages: I don't think she drinks very often. She's definitely gotten wasted on Cloudwine with Mercedes once or twice though. (Also just a little headcanon, I like to think that Madeleine and Mountebank are friends, considering their shops are so close by, and now I'm imagining the three of them having a night on the town while Affie follows closely behind them to make sure they don't get into too much trouble. Fournival's probably there too but he'll deny it.)

Smokes: Again, not very often, but she has smoked greenwarish with Quina and Valmiro a couple times (you can't convince me they haven't smoke before, have you seen Quina's room? I get that she's a healer but...)

Drugs: I mean, if greenwarish counts.. But no, she doesn't do drugs. She needs to have a clear head for all that sword swinging. 🤣

Driver's (Oxcart) License: Definitely not. She falls asleep on the oxcarts way too fast.

Ever Been Arrested: Besides the Aelinore quest, no. She can be kinda reckless but she's not a troublemaker.

Nicknames: Affie is her nickname 😭 Her name is actually Afaenia but no one calls her that. (Affie and Crom's names are literally in-game monikers. For some reason I'm incapable of not using monikers as my characters actual names in DD.)

Age: About the same as Crom, 22-25. Physically. I guess if she was made by Crom she'd probably only be a couple months old. 👶

Race: Pawn. Lol. Crom has loved fantasy stories since she was a kid and has always wanted to see a real life elf, so she created Affie in the image of one (but now I'm wondering, do fantasy stories exist in fantasy worlds? What could possibly be fantasy to them? Modern day Earth? 😭)

Gender: Pawn. I'm kidding. I think like Crom she probably doesn't care much about gender. She's very fem presenting but if you referred to her in any other way she wouldn't really care.

Orientation: Asexual/Aromantic. I just can't see her in a romantic or sexual way lol. It makes me a bit uncomfortable personally.

Moral Alignment: Lawful Neutral? It was hard to pick. She really only answers to Crom. She doesn't think much for herself so you can be sure that she's not going be getting into any trouble (of her own free will lmao.) She is full of complaints though. 😭 I also kinda see her as a big sister figure to Crom despite being younger than her. Always looking out for her and having no problem chewing her out.

Class: She started as a Mage but later became a Sorcerer. Though I can see her switching back and forth depending on Crom's behavior. Like if Crom's been recently injured I can see Affie switching to Mage again to make sure she's ok in fights until she's got her full strength again.

Background: She doesn't really have one... She was made by Crom. If she had a life before Crom, she doesn't remember it.

Interests/Hobbies: I'm not quite sure honestly, but she's probably a throwblast dealer on the side. Something about explosives...

Language(s): Granslish (Common). If she were in DD2 I don't think she'd be able to speak elven. She's a fake. 😔

Height: I think about 5'7-ish. She's a bit shorter than Crom but not too short.

Colors: Purple and Orange.

Fruits: Grapes. I can't really see her enjoying a whole lot of fruits. Maybe? She likes bitter flavors.

Alchoholic Beverages: She has no time for drinks when she has a hard-headed Arisen to take care of.

Smokes: She may not drink, but she's definitely dabbled in little greenwarish before...

Driver's (Oxcart) License: Can she be trusted to drive a cart? Not sure, but I think she'd have a license regardless.

alrighty so after some reflection and getting some outside stuff prioritized Im done some blog housework so I can get comfortable here again.

im still gonna continue my hiatus until november cause the rest of October still has a lot of rl appointments and stuff going on. ill be nuking my ask and drafts to get into maximum turtle plot overdrive and just start things clean, but here's the skinny under cut:

. Ive went and cleaned up my followers list. mostly of inactive blogs, non-mutual or blogs that haven't reached out or interacted at all. I use to think I liked a busier dash but I think trying to keep up with it had been giving me anxiety even if my muses weren't involved in anything plot wise. FOMO has been really killing my vibe more then anything and I need to cut that habit out.

you're a-okay to refollow though! I'll do the same. none of this was done out of malice or a personal dislike, and I get being so busy w/ life and personal plots that you cant interact with everyone in a convenient moment. but if you see this as an opportunity to reach out then by all means! that and I might've accidentally unfollowed one or two of you cause side-blog deal, clumbsy thumbs, and uuh, dont mind me realizing that later down the line-my bad!

. unless carefully plotted otherwise, anything outside my own canons, affiliated blogs/mains or plots is no longer canon to my own. any interaction or thread initiated towards my muses will default fall into my lore/verse unless vice versa or its plotted and etc etc. It's no longer just hanging there in the void so to speak. I need to feel more in control of my own narrative I think and trying to puzzle a lot of contradicting outside plots, dash events, etc has been mentally taxing when rp shouldn't be occupying so much space or anxiety to begin with lol.

this isn't to say everything thats happening in the dash or w/ other characters isn't important ofc! and I still want to participate; it'll just fall under a crack/non-canon tag. if things end up lining up p' well with whats going on here then I might take it into canon. This is p' much what I've been doing to begin with, it's just more concrete now and Im being more careful of what Im willing to accept now. Im ofc open to discussing stuff! DMs and disco for those who have it are open always even if I take a moment to get to it!

. Im no longer answering anon asks that are personal in some way, ie, around subject matters that aren't general headcanons asks or 'hey how do you feel about-' sorta deal. I dont feel comfortable taking it to public and while I understand having the fear of being identified, it's not fair if I'm the only one bearing the subject so to speak. . things that havent changed are the use of my lore and headcanons into your own! I love seeing it integrated or adapted into other lore and seeing just how much it inspires and changes over time!

WANDA ‘ THE SCARLET WITCH ’ IN THE COMICS , is my main portrayal & vibe —unless obviously otherwise plotted & placed in verses stated otherwise— but heavily headcanoned with notable events and impactful character development that i want to keep and grab , kind of like ‘stems’ of a tree that i will take and build from different variations of SCARLET WITCH COMIC ISSUES that i will always either connect and reference to and will just adhere and depend on every interaction i have with different scenarios , plotted , and marvel timeline ft. writer + their vibe .

Elizabeth Olsen. media/image reblogs is of visual reference ONLY. i know she’s still a good actress but I don’t really follow her strongly anyways so I don’t have any knowledge of her irl . but any media reblog are mainly for very MCU related references and notable events images that I may like to ref back to from the films . ( i just really am a film nerd so i look at the visuals and effects of what they have in the mcu cinematography ) so if i ever “ REBLOG ” “gifs” and media sets from mcu for wanda , its a lot more to refer to her powers , relationships with other mcu characters like billy etc etc and visuals when im reblogging. but my portrayal is completely very heavily headcanoned and again, will be tagged.

my portrayal of her focuses on her VOICE WHEN WRITING * ( don’t worry, i will have more on this/her voice sometime later so that you guys can get to know more on it and what i mean, —this is just actually more directed for my wanda and some of my other characters when i find the need to— bc this concept comes from my acting training irl ( ‘ finding a character’s voice. ’ ) which to cut it short mostly focuses a lot on getting into a character’s shoes, mind body and soul and really portraying it truthfully . and so when i write, I then realised my writing style is quite visual and really delves into their character , then the story comes later + more connected. & but don’t worry, again i will always expand or explain these whenever i post more headcanons towards everything in her verses that connect and reference her back from the comics.

BUT TO SUM IT UP , ( my portrayal of her voice ), just means her dialogue &. her characteristics + what makes her , HER , and what she represents . events that happen in the comics is flexible for me but still hold its importance , because im not very fussy about it when it comes to writing with other marvel muses . —unless of course otherwise stated or depending on WHAT we’re writing about , and know that this will most likely be just with and directed to MARVEL RP . a lot other fandoms will be dependent on the writer / setting of the interaction itself. ) because i love to see everyone’s interpretation likewise and i just also love to explore the idea of building a character then create MY INTERPRETATION , BUILD HEADCANONS &. ORIGINALITY TOWARDS IT .

the reason simply why im very specific about this especially towards wanda , is because they dulled her portrayal in the MCU but at the same time im not too bothered because i also understand as an actor , that they were running on budget and focusing too much on a character is far less important than making a film . HOWEVER , when it does come to storytelling and building a character , we all know that through writing and if it has its origin source , there is something to compare . so i did find it difficult bc there were moments of the MCU films that just LACKED HER VOICE &. HER CHARACTER. they literally just threw in her powers, but didn’t bother to give her more importance in the AVENGERS much like her importance in the comics in the avengers team . ( with the exception of WANDAVISION but still definitely deserved sliiiiiiighty more. literally all of the female characters in the MCU needed more . ngl the men had more love , we all know it. ) I just also love the comics , and so i hold and respect those of you as well that do base their marvel muse towards comic storyline . because i get it, hence why my portrayal is heavily headcanon driven . BUT , that doesn’t go to say that I don’t like the MCU , it’s quite the opposite , I liked it , and really as an actor + someone that has a bit of a view in the film industry , I’ve have to legit SEPERATE MY LENS from that world VS the comics . so , honestly to sum it up ( lmao I yap a lot but I just want you guys to know in more detail haha ) , that im not super fussy on the events of comics & the mcu . BUT MORESO THAT I WILL HAVE some notable ‘ tweaks ’ and changes that I may not like or agree with for BOTH THE COMICS &. THE MCU . ( more towards the MCU , because it’s very clear where I drive my muse voice from lmao )

what made you pick up the muse you have?: I know that I usually have a type but a lot of the time? it's literally just me consuming a piece of media and going 'i like this lil dude! they're mine now!' and writing them even if it's for, like, two days

RP PET PEEVES: Headcanons being stolen. I work really hard on the development of my characters so to have those headcanons be lifted and used by other people without my permission is really demoralizing.

FLUFF,   ANGST,   OR SMUT: Bittersweet angst. I like my muses to get a taste of happiness before their whole world implodes.

PLOTS OR MEMES: both! I really like plotting things out and swapping thoughts and just all the back and forth that comes with a collaborative effort to writing things out, but I get that this can make a lot of people anxious so just being able to respond to a meme and have it evolve into something is also really fun.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: it depends on what i feel up to writing and how overwhelmed i am. I think there’s that inherent guilt to match other people’s lengths and sometimes I just can’t. other times i’ll just... outwrite them. so just go with the flow and see what comes out tbh.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: generally at night (EST) or on the weekends. i queue most things though because I have to work/take care of family/ adulting and other real life stuff.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: Lord i hope not. I mean there’s some real period typical rac.sim, sex.ism,  classism and other things that i really struggle to write and research, but that’s just part of the character’s lives that I don’t feel should be glossed over because of environmental circumstance and nature vs nurture. I’m really more interested in forcing all the babes into situations that make them grow as characters and not stick in these self destructive behaviors.  I do think I have both the Jets and the Sharks sense of loyalty and found family style friendships. but I don’t live in the 1950s and I’ve never been that poor. There’s a lot to say about what’s going on in the world today and how  that still keeps WSS’s message relevant, but i share little with my muses.
