to me joplittle is about the horror of being chosen. you have absolutely no idea what to do with it, you could never even count on someone choosing you - let alone for it to be mutual. and it's terrifying, it's a lot of mistakes and shared responsibility for the fact that for some reason you ended up being someone else's number one. you yourself are somewhere in fifth or seventh place in your priority. well, now you're figuring it out.

Imagine what it'll be when someone finally discover who this Lieutenant Edward Little (RL) was and go full on Battersby on his ass and we all find out that the wetman Terror meme was...

1) True but to a much more intense level... like the man truly was a comedy of errors... but to an extent our mortal minds can't fathom.

Or

2) Absolutely wrong and he was an overly competent badass who somehow made it to the Moon in 1823 (?) and we were so... so wrong.

Either way, in this scenario, we're just so wrong and I can't decide which would fix me...
