Falling by Florence + the Machine and Guardians of The Galaxy

Hi I'm here to prove I'm very normal with this very deranged thing (the song is "Falling" by Florence + the Machine)

Frustration and hate are the threads that bind the Guardians together at first. Their resentment toward everything they used to have and then got taken from them is the force that moves them in the first movie. They've all wasted years of their lives doing what someone else demanded out of despair and the need to please their abusers or avenge their grief. They can never have and keep things for too long.

Now this is where I lean a little harder into Rocket. He's reckless and destructive on purpose, he's always looking for a bad decision to make and the highest number of people to hurt. He's rude, he's defensive, he's scared and he steals things he doesn't need. He takes things away from himself before he can even have them. And it's good while it lasts, he can get a kick out of saying the wrong words and doing the wrong things and the adrenaline might make the weight of his grief and self-loathing a little lighter, but when he sobers up the consequences are still there and nothing's changed - maybe it's a little worse.

Rocket is a shrine to all the people he's loved and lost (and loved and lost and loved and lost and loved and lost). His body is a casket full of his own scars and parts of those he can't reach anymore. Everything he does is a reflex of what's already happened. When he tries letting people in, it's because he knows what it felt to be close. When he tries to push them away, it's because he knows what it feels to lose and lose and lose. And still, no matter how hard he tries to be angry and impassive and keep his distance, he keeps slipping and accidentally letting them into his heart despite knowing where it ends. It keeps rewriting it again and again and again.

Time doesn't stop. It doesn't forgive him and he won't forgive it either. But he's spending it with the Guardians now, and while he still has the same scars and dreams about death and the High Evolutionary and drinks himself down, he also learns to sometimes let his guard down and care about the people who love him and dance himself up. Trust is a leap of faith and friendship is something too pure and too frightening for him to have any control over, and he'll never know when it'll end and when he'll be the last one of his people again. He can't predict the landing. But despite the trail of corpses he seems to leave behind wherever he goes, he actually found people to love and he knows who will be there, wherever they land.

Hallo happy to have new friends already !! All of us are into british media/comedy, psychology, and a lot of different types of music.

I (Nebula) don’t really have a lot of specific interests but I love love D&D and roleplay (I don’t do it often so it’s typically listening to podcasts for me). Also stars !! I love astronomy and stargazing whenever I can :3

Seren’s spinterest is Sherlock Holmes media; they pretty much listen to the BBC soundtrack all of the time (I don’t think I’ve ever seen her without headphones actually…).

And Vesper shares quite a few interests with Seren they both like mystery and logic puzzles and forensic science (We’re split on what to continue our degree in but these two are winning with forensic analysis).

Rowan is kinda on again off again with stuff but I know he likes Markiplier and horror games, and Vesper tells us June is really into baking recently as well as regency era romance books (unless Ves is lying she drawled that one out sarcastically)

His name is Kyo Noruki, and tbh I haven't really fleshed out all his lore

What I do know is that

He is/was a part of the Dark Nebula throughout season 1, he was a part of it since episode 1, but I don't know his reason for joining yet, but I don't think he really cares for their goals or anything.

He got ANTI-blader spirit, he isn't evil but he simply sees beys as pieces of metal, he doesn't believe in beys being sentient or having spirits or anything, so all of his battles have a sort of empty vibe, like something's just not right, because he has no passion.

Again, he's not evil or a bad person or anything, he just never had a bond with his bey cause he sees it as a spinning top.

(lil tidbit: I hc that he doesn't call out his beys name during battles, he just calls out the moves, bc again, no bond)

Because of his anti spirit, he doesn't take many beyblade related things seriously, like L-Drago eating peoples souls, because to him, 'it's just a spinning top, it can't be that serious', and with Reiji torturing people, he just doesn't get what the big deal is, like 'yea your bey broke, just fix it later?'.

(bc of this I feel like he wouldn't be mentally affected by Reiji, like he'd lose in a fight w him but he wouldn't really gaf)

I feel like Kyo would REALLY piss Gingka off, because he has NO spirit NO passion and NO fucks to give, and his bey is suffering for it.

His arc would probably be Gingka hitting him with his fist of The bladers Spirit™ by the end of season 1, and Kyo trying to make it up to his bey and bond with it in season 2 (idk where he'd be in season 3, cuz ngl, not the biggest Fury fan).

He has his own morals and stuff, but he is more on the morally-grey side of the spectrum, like he wouldn't kill anyone or anything, but he would harm someone if he had to, it's all a means to an end for him.

I am having troubles with his bey though, because honestly I don't really know the etiquette for making up beyblades, I want him to have some kind of fox because it just fits his vibe? idk, but the only fox bey I know of is Spiral Fox, which is taken, so I'm very open to suggestions, I've been thinking about the names Flash Fox and Phantom Fox tho.

Lucky Charm & LJ history lesson 🧘‍♂️(TBH AU)

some people inspired me to yap about them a bit more, I won't name those persons but they know who they are 🤭🤭 ty guys!!

so, let's start from the beginning:D

lucky and jack met through travelling across the universes with other stars, and bonded over their weirdness. as I said before — jack is too human-ish for false stars, has his morals and really didn't force negativity on others to consume it, a total sweeheart, honestly.

Lucky, on the other hand, was very different from Jack. He didn't experience much emotions, besides his giggly facade, and was.... uhhh much more bloodthirsty than he needed to be.

so lil blorbos bond over literally everything and eventually develop some tiiny feelingsss for each other and everything is going AWESOME: lucky's becoming more chill, jack is maybe one of the happiest false stars you'll ever see 👀👀

But then Isaac happens, and Jack comes back clinging to Lucky as his last hope, and he, thankfully, prevents Jack from becoming a nebula. However, the fact that Jack's main stress was relieved does not mean that all the consequences of what he saw have disappeared. He begins to question all of his previous morals and completely changes as a person, while Lucky mostly just watches.

So, Lucky is NOT the best person, and even if there is something about Jack that made him be a little gentler and kinder, it certainly didn't eliminate all the negative traits.

He can't help but say a few nott great things here and there, but Jack has just experienced the worst event in his relatively calm life, and he is as unstable as an aspen leaf, so he breaks down, accusing Lucky of wishing him nothing but harm.

Then, after a long mental breakdown, Jack basically tells Lucky to 'fuck off' and and goes to 'have some time alone', which results with him going in hibernation, as he doesn't want to see anyone, actually! not before he cools off, at least.

Fast-forward, About three hundred years of hibernation later(not so much time for false stars :D), Jack wakes up. First of all, he wants to find Lucky so they can finally talk about everything, but he can't find him. Neither among the other hibernating stars, nor among those who are conscious. Jack, with his new unstable, prickly personality, immediately decides that Lucky has abandoned him and gone on his own journey, which would not be surprising, since Lucky was mostly a loner anyways.

So, that's the version he's decided to believe. The last thing he wants to believe is that he killed Lucky; I said earlier that less emotional false stars are more likely to turn into nebula from the slightest stress. But what happened to Lucky is still unknown to Jack himself, so every time he sees shooting stars, he only thinks about Lucky being one of them, still mad at him and proudly wishing him to die somewhere along the way ❤️ Here you go, another example of Jack stubbornly refusing to accept his mistakes.

Shall I tell you what happened to Lucky? nah, not until more plot comes on 👀

I’m bored so here are my Louie headcanons! :P!!

TW:: abuse and neglect :((

-Louie is VERY particular on what he wants, and how he likes things. His bed isn’t made the “correct” way? He can’t sleep. His pasta isn’t cooked how he does it? Won’t eat it.

-Despite his job, I feel like he really is a caring and good person inside. He cares about other people and their well-being, even for strangers. That’s called empathy. He donates to charities with the extra money he has!

-When Louie was little, about 8-10, he met Tony, and became close with him and his family. Louie only had his mother, who was a lady of the night, left him alone at home for hours with no access to food or water. Eventually and thankfully, Tony’s mother found out about the horrid reality of Louies life, and knowing her, she wouldn’t turn a blind eye and let it happen, oh no. Tony’s mother told Louie to pack a bag, and tell his mother that he’d be back soon. But- he wouldn’t. He would go to America with Tony’s family, and become a D’Amico.

-Louie is a VERY cuddly guy. He must be holding onto something 24/7, or it doesn’t feel right.

-He is an overall sensitive and gentle man, but I feel like that was obvious, as it was shown a lot in the show.

-Louie is a big overachiever to the MAX. He needs to be perfect. if he fails even once, he gives up. He tries telling himself that he will be loved either way, but he doesn’t believe himself in the end.

-This poor man forgets to take care of himself all the time. He’s too worried about getting killed! Luckily, Legs is an amazing friend, and reminds him from time to time to take a break for himself.

- He has bad dental health. Crooked teeth, cavities, rot.. I mean, it is hard to take care of yourself when you have a job like him, right?

-If he wasn’t a mobster, I feel like he would be an astronomer, because he has had an unusual infatuation with space and isn’t afraid to yap to Legs about Nebulas and supernovas.

- All Louie really wants for Christmas is socks. Every. Single. YEAR.

-He is also the youngest out of the main 4. He is older than Frankie, though. Frankie is the youngest of all of them.

- He and Tony are the only ones who can speak Italian. (since we only hear them actually speaking the language in the show, correct me if I’m wrong) Frankie, Johnny, and Legs have no clue what they talk about half the time.

- He isn’t neurotypical at all. He has undiagnosed autism

-He calls Legs Onion because it “fits him”. Legs only tolerated it because it’s Louie.

- Speaking of Louie and Legs, they’re definitely best friends. 100%. They’re always close to each other!
