This is young Ziva,shown in Berlin. I love my baby, but I want to talk about another thing. 

The room behind is probably Ziva’s bedroom (we see her sitting at a desk). There are the letters “Z” and “T”. ZIVA AND TALI.

It makes me sob and it’s just a little touch. It’s not even hebrew alphabet, imagine them studying english and having the idea to create their initials in that language <3

I don’t know if Ziva and Tali shared a bedroom so that’s why there is the “T” too or if Ziva just wanted the initial of her sister there but aww. I just love the little detail,I’m sorry. 

Oh and it’s full of photos(family,friends?),baby!

You know what would give me endless hope and joy?? If Buck and Eddie have a moment at the madney wedding that is clearly one of longing. I don’t want anything to happen, but I want a moment that tells us they could happen in the future. You know, that moment in a classic will-they-won’t-they trope where the audience starts to realize that they really might, someday. It’s not a guarantee, but it’s the most solid maybe so far. That kind of moment.

Buddie right now wouldn’t make sense, but give us a glimpse of a possibility, show us the writers are considering it.

Some examples:

- in Brooklyn 99, when Jake thinks Amy is asking him to dance, but then she watches him dance with that LOOK on her face

- in NCIS when Tony and Ziva dance in Berlin

- in New Girl, when the mug episode told us Nick and Jess actually might have a chance of getting back together

Season 7, Episode 1 Truth of Consequences (Tony rescuing Ziva and telling her He couldn't live without her)

5. Season 7, Episode 2 Reunion (for the simple fact that Tim delivers the stupid but absolutely funny line 'I'm going to get a Nutter Butter)

6. Season 4, Episode 9 Twisted Sister (for the simple fact when Sarah met Tony and Ziva she was able to clock them as Tommy and Lisa instantly)

7. Season 6, Episode 2 Agent Afloat (as Ziva catches Tony with the pictures he took of her in Los Angeles when they had accompanied Jenny there, showing his feelings for her were more than friendship)

8. Season 8, Episode 23 Swan Song (for the simple fact with the way Tony is so gentle and sweet to Ziva comforting her after Franks' murder)

9. Season 10, Episode 12 Shiva (how Tony not only takes care of Ziva after Eli's murder but how he brings Schmiel to help too)

10. Season 6 Episode 9 Dagger (how Ziva protects Tony and how they work together to save Amanda. It's just so sweet.)

Hey, I have a question. How do you feel about Ziva being an Israeli military officer now in the year 2023, when a storyline like that would be looked at poorly today? Do you think the show would ever address the Israel/Palestine conflict with regards to Ziva if she ever came back? Me personally, I hate when people refer to Ziva as a zionist because she was an Israeli military officer but I think people forget that a) she was groomed by her father to become that and b) she shows remorse of living that lifestyle in episodes like Berlin and past present and future and c) she cuts ties with Mossad in s7 and is an American agent the rest of the show. It just makes me curious how other people feel about Ziva now compared to in like the early 2000s when this was accepted.

Hi! I appreciate your ask. Looking further into NCIS storylines is always interesting.

I'm the wrong person to answer this question, though. The last time I've remotely debated about politics/history was before the pandemic but I'll say my take on this.

NCIS is/was written/produced by American men afraid of strong topics (such as this) who treated female characters very poorly with storylines they would never follow if they weren't abiding by USA propaganda and let's refer to it as 'trending topics'. I don't think they would address it because the main audience today consists of conflicting targets a) elders who believe in the core of cop shows like these and who would not approve of today's take on world peace/feminism/gay marriage and so on (and unfortunately they are the biggest portion of both the creation team and audience members) and b) younger people who control the trending opinion of 'this is the right thing to do/say because otherwise you'll get canceled'.

I won't label what I approve or disapprove but if Ziva returned today I need to say this would be a very interesting storyline IF they were smart enough to handle it. (They wouldn't. This would never happen). Ziva is centered in peace because she's a good person. I strongly believe she would fight for it, whether returning to Israel, or saying what she thinks, or creating an organization... I think nowadays Ziva wouldn't let a war that's happening in her country just pass on without her doing something. I'm very neutral about this whole she's a zionist x she's military because she's a good person who made mistakes, making her a brilliant character (storytelling-wise). She was a young adult who spent years fighting the battle of 'I must impress my father because it was he who raised me' x 'I need to fight for what is right not what they want to use me for'.

That said, I don't think they would address it. I personally think they won't ever return and if they do talk about Tony & Ziva they would do it very superficially. Accept my take on this with a grain of salt (I'm simply a Brazilian forever angered they didn't treat them right).

You honestly do not understand how much I love Omegaverse, 🧋. Me and a certain someone (you know who you are but luckily I will not tag you) talk about Omegaverse COD a lot to the point we have our own little AU of them and joke about Omega! Makarov and his breeding kink

At the moment I have got three asks which I am trying to finish as I have been sick and finally have the time to finish them. The first is about Alpha!Reader finding out about Omega!Makarov being pregnant and how excited he is. The second is about Omega!Makarov and his breeding kink with all the insane shit it makes him do. And the third was an ask about Omega!Makarov using his pheromones to keep his Alpha going and I hope the asker is okay with me writing about Omega!Makarov and an Alpha!OC of mine because I read it and immediately thought about something for the two of them especially because I love an overstimulated and submissive Alpha

I am also writing something to celebrate having a 100 followers even if it is a bit late, alongside a very big and long project. It is a post that will have an Omegaverse headcanon for many, many COD characters 

I will be honest when I say you can spam my inbox with anything -especially Omegaverse asks or headcanons because they fuel my day-

It can be general things, like just chatting or asking random things or asking about my AUs or characters in different scenarios, or (my absolute favourite thing) sending in things relating to the Omegaverse. Specific ideas for specific characters and what they would be like in the Omegaverse or just ideas for the Omegaverse as I have so many ideas for it and how it can work

I will write about virtually any character in COD but I prefer MW and the operators from the multiplayer as I know about them more. Old or the Reboot, it does not really matter to me. Although, I do have a preference for Makarov (which is quite obvious), König (again very obvious), Price, Nikto, Nikolai, Captain MacMillan, Captain MacTavish, and Andrei which I know is basic but I have a type 

This is because of a certain someone specifically but I will also write for characters who are not in the COD but have been played by an actor in COD. It will be as if that character is in COD and related to different COD characters. You may have seen others do this but examples are Joe Graves from Six, Sergei from Berlin Station, Xavier from NCIS, etc. 

Also, I have some COD OCs (15 to be precise for the moment, but it also can technically be counting as 16 due to one certain thing) that I do not mind writing about especially for Omegaverse as I have too many ideas. But, like for the above, I will only write about them or answer questions if specifically asked 

All I need is for anyone sending in an ask to be very specific as I am quite dense due to being Autistic and I may not get it or misunderstand if it is not directly said what is wanted, I apologise for that. Just send asks in so I know what people want

Kate Whistler's Connections

This is a xmas gift for @earplegalcodes on AO3 because the premise of their latest work got me to post this MCU crossover crack one shot that has been sitting in my notes since August. (I'll have time to read it soon, but it's bound to be good! Their works always are.)

Lucy is less than pleased. Going to Berlin in connection with a NCIS and FBI case? That she can deal with. She, Jane, and Kate have just brought a large arms deal to a close. She's barely feeling the jet lag anymore. No, it's who they had to work with while they were here.

"This was fun. We should work together again" says Alina with a smirk as she looks Kate up and down. Kate doesn't notice, her focus on her phone. Lucy is fuming. She's dealt with the short jokes and the dismissive glances, but the case is over and she is ready to be done with Alina Nikitin. "We should have drinks to celebrate. I'm sure we can find a bar..." Lucy clenches her jaw to keep from saying something mean. They have to maintain good relations with FSB and all that. She could go back into the hotel where Jane is settling their bills, but then Alina would know she got to her.

"I don't think you have the time..." answers Kate, finally looking up from her phone.

"I'm sure my FSB handler wouldn't object since we did stop a revolt."

"Ah. I'm not releasing you to FSB, Alina..." Lucy fumes just a bit more since they're apparently on a first name basis now.

"Then we definitely have time. Perhaps even for dinner." Kate smirks.

"Not quite." Alina raises an eyebrow. "You've been busy helping us, but your side hustle didn't go unnoticed." Lucy raises an eyebrow at Kate, not sure what she's talking about, but also at Kate's use of the term 'side hustle'.

"You are giving us true Black Widows a bad name Alina Nitikin." Alina goes worryingly pale and stands up straight. It's clearly a voice she recognizes. Lucy tilts her head to look around her and see an assassin approaching them. Yelena Belova. Lucy's first instinct is to go for her gun, but she stops. Partially do to the look the assassin gives her and partially from the feel of Kate's hand on her arm. Yelena walks over and grasps Alina's arm like one would a misbehaving child. "Come. We have things to discuss. Thank you Kate Whistler. You are an honorable person." They watch the two walk away. Only then is Lucy able to pick up her jaw and look at Kate.

"I have so many questions! Like, how do you know Yelena Belova?"

"I... can't tell you. It's classified" answers Kate with a sheepish look. Jane joins them a second later. Her boss looks between them.

"Do I want to know what I missed?"

What are the standout soundtrack moments for you in NCIS? Are there songs that you listen to because of the show or will always remind you of NCIS when you hear them?

For me I have three that come to mind-

Nothing More by The Alternate Routes is in the Season 11 Christmas episode, Homesick. It plays over the last three minutes of victory over a case solved, kids healed, Tony deciding McGee's joining him for a cocktail, and Ellie giving Gibbs her mom's coffee cake.

In Shiva just after Tony tells Ziva "Aht lo leh-vahd" Not Alone by Patty Griffin plays while the team attends Jackie Vance's funeral and Ziva mourns in Israel. The lyrics repeat "You are not alone / Laying in the light / Put out the fire in your head / And lay with me tonight"

The Season 5 episode, Family, features Matt Nathanson's All We Are (a song so very of the time). It's what accompanies the moment Tony chooses his job and more specifically his team over Jeanne and burns her letter.

NCIS chooses lyriced music from the editing toolbox a lot less than many shows so I guess I'm curious if anything stands out for you?

I clearly need to go through and listen to all these that you mentioned because more often than not I'm focused on what's happening on screen rather than the music, but I do have a couple that I'll never forget

The first is "I'm Glad There Is You" by Jane Monheit which of course was playing when Tony and Ziva danced in Berlin 🥲

And then the song that plays when Tony receives that last message over IM from Ziva in 11x01, and he says "Talk to me, Ziva. Where are you?" That's "If I Could Be Where You Are" by Enya, gets me every time

Now this one I don't have on my spotify, but I should. It's "The Viper" by Paul Lenart, et. al. This one is the song that Abby plays as the team leaves Kate's funeral in season 3.

Those are the three that stand out the most to me! Now I want to hear what others have to say!

2. First ever ship: Oh man, ich kann mich nicht mehr genau erinnern, so lange ist das her. Vermutlich irgendwas im Animebereich so ca. Mitte der 2000er, als ich Animexx.de entdeckt habe und überhaupt erstmal gecheckt habe was “Shipping” ist.

3. Last song: Letzter Song in meiner Spotify-Playlist: “Quédate” von Bratty, letztes Album: “Change” von CATT

4. Last movie: Ich bin ein Cinema Geek, also gehe ich bestimmt so 5-6 Mal im Monat ins Kino. Als letztes dort gesehen habe ich den neuesten John Wick mit meinen KollegInnen. Heute Abend habe ich Karten für “Metropolis live mit Babylon Orchester Berlin”, was ich bestimmt schon 3 oder 4 Mal gesehen habe und es ist immer wieder grandios. Stummfilmklassiker auf großer Leinwand gehen immer, ganz besonders mit Live Orchester.

5. Currently reading: Gestern erst habe ich “Hitze” von Victor Jestin zu Ende gelesen, als nächstes starte ich einen Reread von “Die Ladenhüterin” von Sayaka Murata. Nebenbei lese ich seit einer Weile noch “Eine kurze Geschichte der Zeit” von Stephen Hawking, der ein großartiger Buchautor ist, aber zu viel Physik und Astronomie auf einmal bringt mein Hirn zum Überkochen. Außerdem liegt immer ein Poesieband von “Cien Sonetos De Amor” von Pablo Neruda in Originalsprache auf meinem Nachttisch, die beste Nachtlektüre für gute Träume.    

6. Currently watching: Ich bin grade auf dem Nostalgietrip, daher rewatche ich grade uralte Folgen von NCIS (Don’t judge me :D) und nebenher läuft auch öfter mal Superstore. Sobald alle neuen Folgen von The Mandalorian raus sind, werde ich mich denen widmen.

7. Currently consuming: Nichts, weil ich mich gleich auf den Weg mache zum Ramenshop um die Ecke, dann gibt es lecker Tonkotsu Ramen und danach Matcha Eis.

8. Currently craving: Meine Ramen, auf die ich mich schon den ganzen Tag freue. Wenn ihr mal in Berlin seit, probiert unbedingt Limori Ramen in der Mulackstraße *chefs kiss*

Bu yıl 62.’sini düzenleyeceğimiz Uluslararası Bursa Festivali de bu ruhun en önemli temsilcilerinden biridir. 1962 yılından bu yana Bursa’mızın kültür ve sanat hayatına anlamlı bir boyut kazandıran Uluslararası Bursa Festivali’ni, bu yıl büyük bir coşkuyla gerçekleştireceğiz. Yerli ve yabancı pek çok sanatçının sahne alacağı bu yıl ki festivalimizde, müziğin, dansın ve sahne sanatlarının büyülü dünyasına beraber adım atacak ve sanatın evrensel diline hep birlikte tanık olacağız. 5-31 Temmuz tarihleri arasında gerçekleştireceğimiz 62. Uluslararası Bursa Festivali’yle, farklı kültürleri ve sanatçıları bir araya getirerek barışın ve kardeşliğin mesajını dünyaya yayacağız” diye konuştu.

“TÜM SANATSEVERLERİ, FESTİVALE DAVET EDİYORUM” Bursa’nın dünyada en çok bilinen etkinliklerinden birinin de Uluslararası Bursa Festivali kapsamında gerçekleştirilen Uluslararası Altın Karagöz Halk Dansları Yarışması olduğunu hatırlatan Başkan Bozbey, kentin kültür ve sanat hayatında önemli bir yeri olan organizasyonun bu yıl 36.’sını düzenleyeceklerini söyledi. Altın Karagöz’ün dünyanın farklı ülkelerinde yaşayan kültürlerin, halk danslarını dünyaya sunmaları, kültürlerini özgürce sergilemeleri için önemli bir fırsat olduğunu ifade eden Başkan Bozbey, “Kendine özgü formatıyla geleneksel çizgisini koruyarak bugün 36. yılına ulaşan, Altın Karagöz Halk Dansları Yarışması’nın kentimizde düzenleniyor olmasını son derece anlamlı buluyoruz.

Festivalin bugünlere ulaşmasını sağlayan belediye başkanlarına, BKSTV yöneticilerine ve çalışanlarına, destek veren sponsor firmalara teşekkür ediyorum. Tüm sanatseverleri, 5-31 Temmuz tarihleri arasında gerçekleştireceğimiz 62. Uluslararası Bursa Festivali’ne davet ediyorum. BKSTV Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Metin Atış, 1962 yılından bu yana devam eden Türkiye’nin en uzun soluklu tek etkinliği Uluslararası Bursa Festivali’nin bu yıl 62.’sini gerçekleştireceklerini hatırlattı. Müzeyyen Senar ve Zeki Müren’in eşsiz sesleriyle başlayan, kuşaktan kuşağa 62 yıldır devam eden bu öykünün 5 – 31 Temmuz tarihleri arasında Bursa’yı aydınlatmaya devam edeceğini söyleyen Metin Atış, Altın Karagöz Halk Dansları Yarışmasının da 36’ncısını gerçekleştireceklerini dile getirdi.

Kültür, sanat kalitesini arttırmak amacıyla yapılan çalışmalara destek veren Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Mustafa Bozbey’e, vakfın onursal başkanı Fatma Durmaz Yılbirlik nezdinde Durmazlar Makine’ye Uludağ Premium’a, Harput Holding’e, Şahinkaya Koleji’ne, Özhan Marketler Zinciri’ne, Türk Hava Yolları’na, Karina Otel’e, Çay Taze’ye, Opel- Nescar’a, Kardelen Kestane Şekerleri’ne ve Hayat Hastanesi, Altın Karagöz Halk Dansları Yarışması’nın ana sponsoru Referans Holding’e, Durmazlar Holding’e ve SÜTAŞ’a teşekkür eden Atış, sanatseverleri ilk günün heyecanıyla yeni anılar biriktirecekleri festival coşkusuna eşlik etmeye davet etti. Atış, hem şehrin bu tür değerlerine sahip çıktıkları için hem de bunun bir parçası oldukları için mutluluk duyduklarını dile getirdi.
