and his counterpart is.. kuya haha, that one was easy

like all other yokai, he was born in nc world, having bits and pieces of his memories from past life. kuya is tengu yokai, which is more mythical than normal animal (in nc all yokais were animals at their birth). it complicates things just a little, but there is some mythical creatures in nc, so i say it doesn't matter that much.

kuya lives in wood territory, too, but closer to the border with light territory. he enjoys human-made cuisines, and likes reading books. so he often visits villages and cities nearby.

Considering last post i made this nc gacha experience makes sense i guess ahahah i am so normal 🧍‍♂️

So like last 2 event in nu carnival i had to hit that 100 contract guarantee in order to get an event ssr

And both times i got the one i wanted less (aka quincy and then kuya. Both r hella epic but jesus christ i wanted that garu so bad) i had to grind but it's ok at least i got an event ssr u kno 🤪

Anywho this time i was far more prepared b u t they raised the guarantee to 150 contracts?? So i was like damn nvm i might have to fight for my life during last couple of day again. Fine whatever.

I really wanted blade (bc he is a cutie) and yakumo (bc he is a cutie and i dont have any ssrs w him) and kinda didnt want to get olivine (just bc i have other 2 ssr and i dont use em)

 The story business of Arniel Camposano started 21 years ago. A man had a full of skill on mechanical works. He studied at one of the prestigious university in manila but he didn’t reach the goal to graduate due to his problem. Eventually because he is a skilled person he find a right job that really fit his ability. He also earn different mechanical NC’S, because of his all achievement he used it to support his family. Many years working in the company he decided to resign and and started a shop. By his passion on mechanical works he was able to earn profit that he could not expect and because of his mastery he was able to lure a lot of customer not just a normal customer but also well known companies that related to mechanical works. The hardwork of Tatay Arniel paid off because all of his children finish studies, three of them are degree holder and the other one is NC’S holder. Looking at Tatay appearance you didn't expect him that he is a man with a brilliant mind.

Mark Dave Rabidas a young entrepreneur, his business focus shake with pair of different kind of snacks. He started his business year 2012 but 2 years after he stop because he find a job. He spent a year on working but   he realized that doing business is more profitable than working in the company. All his sacrifices had really change his life. The location of his business played a big impact to make more money because the location beside highway which a lot of people passing by and we know that Brgy. Tablon is enormous of workers. Kuya mark become a breadwinner he help his family especially his brother to finish college. Amidst this pandemic he earn less than those normal times but he didn’t give up and still continue.

Everything really happens for a reason Tatay Arniel and Kuya Dave fails while they are on the process but they didn’t give up, those failure take them to the other path that makes them successful on their business.

ginnojo is a shy bookshop keeper, a veteran of war, and he is VERY shy around women

he is blushing and stuttering his way through every interaction with mc in the game (i'm exaggerating lol)

his story was kinda the most boring one, unfortunately :c

but they compinsated with ssr hidden stories and small interactions in events

in game, he doesn't have anything interesting in his design that would reflect his dragon nature. you can see on official artwork that he has like a few scales on his cheek and arm, and that's it. i think it's a mist opportunity! so i added more scales and a dragon tale for him.

yes!! he is THAT OLD, but don't fret, there's is even more ancient dude (who i really like too, but he didn't get into nu: carnival line up)

ayakashi live longer lives and seemingly don't age, and in nc yokai have long lives too, like kuya and quicy for example

ginnojo is kind of weird yokai as well, he is a water dragon. how do you become a water dragon yokai in nc universe? i don't know!

ginnojo lives in deep water territory. even though, water territory seems to be more inhabited by people, like light territory, i bet there is still secluded places for rare mythical creatures to occupy.

i imagined his living by a high mountain lake, but looking over nc map (i'll probably post it sometime later) it seems that water territory is very flat 😭

and i don't want another yokai chilling in wood territory. i know that it's often their birth place, and it's safer from humans, but idk it's a big concentration of sexy dudes in one place lmao they can't be ALL neighbors to each other yk

water territory seems to have dence forests too, judging from the main story (where rei lives), so i bet there is a place for a magical secret lake or something suitable for a water dragon. *huffs and puffs*

This Will All Make Sense When I Am Older.

In a few days this terrible year will finally be over. I can confidently say that I have been tested in more ways than I probably would’ve liked... but God really knows how to teach me something and affirm my path in life. Hmm... Let’s review shall we? 

January - There was a lot to look forward to in this month like starting school back up again, seeing all my friends, photoshoots, and seeing my mans. I started consistently working out again because I knew that the wedding was coming up fast. Honesty, the year started up hopeful like a friendly “hello”, but January basically ended with a goodbye.

February - A month of what’s supposed to be full of “love” was full of... doubt. Something changed in this month with me and everyone I love. I’m not sure what it was, but things started to go south and it wasn’t the same anymore. 

March - The quarter ended and it was the most important one of my life because I found exactly what I wanted to do in the industry. Lest we forget Moscow Mule night. I got to go to Wilmington, NC, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah, made new friends, and went to NOLA for my birthday. My birthday slowly became my least favorite holiday due to the stupidest reasons. Spring Quarter started after Spring Break and I pushed myself really hard to create my artistic branding for myself because I was actively seeking an internship for the summer. 

April -  I was at a really low point by the time this came, but I definitely lifted up a lot of my worries to God in Spring Retreat. I learned many things about forgiveness, my worth, and how much I’m made for in life. It really helped a lot to keep me grounded and focused on what lies ahead for me. Oh I had some of the best fried chicken in my entire life and I got to evangelize at the sidewalk arts fest. I also became teacher’s pet for practically all my classes, got recruited to take really exclusive collaborative classes, I got to work on a senior animated film, and I was offered two paid internship positions for the summer. 

May - I got fitted for my dress for the wedding this month and I was literally in the best shape of my entire life. One of my best friends and I went on our yearly date to one of our favorite restaurants. I got to interview for a collaborative class with Fox Sports, I ate Duck Donuts for the first time, and.....  I sprained my ankle really badly for the 3rd time in the same year because I was crossed for the first time in my life. The animated film I worked on won the Bronze Award at the Senior Animation Showcase and for the first time ever, my name was in the credits on a huge screen seen by hundreds of people. At the very end of this month my mom came to move me out of my dorm and travel to my new home in Florida for the next 3 months. 

June - aka Death month #1: The first week of summer break I got to go home and see some people before I sold my life to the industry. I traveled back to Florida I started my internship. The first month was probably the most exciting because I got paid of what I do and learned so much from my mentors. I learned how to be alone for the first time ever... it slowly became the worst things I have ever experienced. 

July -  aka Death month #2: Time went on and the loneliness got worse. I tried to exercise, watch movies, practice my art, cook, etc. Although, I made a friend at work and we actually hung out a lot while I was down there. He made things better. I could tell that I was losing weight because I didn’t have anyone to coerce me into eating food and I was kinda just sad. The end of July was the worst because of the death of my grandma... I was really depressed during this time. Those last two weeks were tough.

August -  aka Death month #3: You ever been so numb to anything and everything that you just want to “feel something” so you go out and do something impulsive like get a tattoo or a piercing? Yea well that’s exactly what I did. I got my second lobe pierced and got closer to the one friend I made over the summer. There was actually very much I looked forward to in this month such a the Jonas Brother Concert, Kahlid Concert, the unexpected Conference, New Orleans, and I got to finally move out of Florida. 

September - The beginning of this month I was literally running away from Hurricane Dorian. Orlando to Savannah to Atlanta and back all in the span of a week... and the hurricane never even hit US land. I learned that I love to go to museums alone and that Chick-fil-A in Georgia is the BEST in the world. School started up again, I started going to the gym again, and I was very happy to be back in a place where I know I had a family. I went on my first silent retreat and finally finished my speech for my sister’s wedding.

October - I ditched midterms week to spend a whole 10 days back at home. We celebrated kuya’s birthday right after I got off the plane. I got to see my family from the Philippines in the states for the first time in forever. My father got ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Church in Fresno and to this day I think it’s really weird, but really amazing at the same time. I got to take my cousins on a roadtrip to HHN, Universal, Disneyland, and Hollywood. I finally cut 5 inches off my hair (and I regret it). My sister and her fiance finally got married and although I almost died during their wedding (open bar hehe) it was probably the best day of my life. I only had one day to recover until I was back on a plane back to school. My friends and I finally got to play manhunt downtown, I went to a leaders retreat, and the film fest started back up again. Halloween was fun because I went downtown with my friends as Miss Universe.  

November - There were only a few weeks left of school and luckily I finished strong, despite the struggles and all the headaches... I was really lucky to have so much time to hang out with all of my friends and go out. The quarter ended and the first thing I came back home to was a friendsgiving where I saw all my best friends. It felt so good to be home. I’m really glad to be able to hang out with my friends from back home and just emjoy their company, It was very healing, We visited my kuya at the cemetery for his one year death anniversary, Thanksgiving was detrimental because my dad was rushed to the hospital because of his gallbladder and that really had me shook. I got to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and got to see all of my childhood best friends all in one place for the first time in years. I watched Frozen II.

December - This month was probably the most unexpected month of my life. My dad went to the hospital, my mom and I fought, I went on a cruise to Mexico, my cousin and I are now best friends, and my grandma went to the hospital. I “started 2020 early by deleting unnecessary social media, had a sibling meeting, and I went to confession, adoration and mass to  officially start my journey towards healing. I finally made Melonpan and I messed up my wrist in the process. I watched the last Star Wars movie in the Skywalker Saga 3 times. I caught up with friends at hangouts and parties. Lastly, on Christmas one of my old best friends and I finally made up after 3 years and my best friend came to visit me for once. 

This year was filled with so many ups and too many downs. I don’t regret any of it because although it was the most trying year ever, I grew so much because of it. I am thankful and optimistic about what’s to come. I’ll see you in 2020.
