As I approach the end of the production of my upcoming photo exhibition at Morioka Shoten bookstore in Tokyo, I am currently in the final stages of the hand-printing process. Spotting is an essential step in the process. When photographs are developed manually in the darkroom, they tend to accumulate dust and dirt, leading to white spots on the photographic paper. To achieve the desired outcome, paying close attention to every black dot is crucial. Each dot is carefully adjusted to ensure they overlap perfectly without any unnecessary excess or deficiency. This process requires precision and diligence, but the results are well worth it. After spotting all day, my shoulders are stiff, and my eyes are losing focus. Nevertheless, I did a great job with the work.

Highs and Lows: Class 78.

The class that had been stocked in Hope's Peak while The Tragedy had went on. They precede Class 79, and their upperclassmen are Class 77-A and B. They are also the only ones to have never fallen into despair, as they had been residing in the school, which was impenetrable ever since the "Parade", killing almost all of the Reserve Course students with most of the student council and all the staff, leaving the 4 course survivors (Hajime Hinata, [REDACTED], Sato Sakakura and Natsumi Kuzuryu) missing.

Their class representative is Junko Enoshima, despite her being the indirect yet literal cause of this Tragedy, she is also very liable to be killed out there due to the frenzied masses wanting to kill their "goddess" in the name of despair, so she is technically under their protection. Their mascot is a small, slightly homocidal and very nagging robot bear thing named Monokuma.

These students are Makoto Naegi, Kyoko Kirigiri, Byakuya Togami, Yasuhiro Hagakure, Toko Fukawa, Aoi Asahina, Sayaka Maizono, Leon Kuwata, Chihiro Fujisaki, Mondo Owada, Kiyotaka Ishimaru, Hifumi Yamada, Celestia Ludenburg, Sakura Ogami, Sae Itoi, Mukuro Ikusava and Junko Enoshima herself. Most of them don't seem to like the rep very much, or her sister either. They all seem to be associated with at least one student in the now-rogue Class 77-B. Additionally, Minato Chidori from the 77th bracket and Yura Kanemuru from the 79th bracket are taking shelter among this class, since their best friend is Sae Itoi. Despite nearly every service providing for the school, from water to electricity, food and other supplies, falling during the Tragedy, the school is still running smoothly...

Their teacher used to be none other then the then-current principle of the school, Jin Kirigiri. But he died after getting captured by some despaired folk, and was executed. Ever since this day, they haven't dared left the school except for one, for they may not survive outside.

I see your True Colors

We have six quails in our house.

The pattern of quail eggs differs depending on the individual laying the eggs. Some theories suggest that the pattern changes depending on where the eggs are laid. However, those of us who keep quail admit that contrary to this theory, there is a pattern in the pattern of quail eggs depending on the individual female quail. Now, my daughter and I can tell which female laid which egg just by looking at the outside with one look.

But the surprises don't end there! We discovered that each quail's egg's interior colour is unique. This revelation has only deepened our fascination with these tiny yet diverse wonders of nature.

Please note: the colour of the inside of the egg is different for each female. The top four eggs in the photo were laid by a female called Kurumi. Here, the inside colour of the eggs is generally slightly blue. In contrast, the bottom four were laid by Milk Tea. And they are white inside.

Why is that?

Here's a puzzle for you: why do these eggs, despite being nourished by the same diet, display such strikingly different colors? It's a question that has us, and perhaps you, intrigued.
